Послание евреям

Глава 8

1 Главное же здесь то, что теперь у нас такой Первосвященник, Который воссел справа от престола Владыки Небесного,

2 и служение совершает Он во Святилище истинном, которое Сам Господь поставил, не человек.

3 Всякий первосвященник для того и призван, чтобы приносить дары и жертвы, потому и Первосвященнику, о Котором мы говорим, тоже необходимо было нечто иметь, что мог бы Он принести.

4 Если бы Он на земле оставался, то просто не стал бы священником, потому что здесь и так есть священники, которые приносят дары, как то Закон велит.

5 Они служат во Святилище, которое есть подобие, тень небесного. Моисей потому и был предупрежден, когда собирался устроить Святилище. «Смотри, — было сказано ему, — сделай всё точно по образу и подобию того, что было показано тебе на горе».

6 Служение же, которое Иисусу было дано, всё ранее бывшее превосходит, как и тот завет новый, который при Его содействии установлен и на лучших основан обещаниях.

7 Если бы достаточен был первый завет, не было бы нужды в другом.

8 Но Бог, укоряя народ Свой, говорил: «Вот наступают дни, — говорит Господь, — когда Свои отношения с домом Израиля и домом Иуды представлю Я в новом завете.

9 Не в таком, — продолжает Господь, — какой давал Я отцам их в тот день, когда взял их за руку, чтобы вывести их из земли Египетской. Они завет тот нарушили, и Я оставил их.

10 Вот какой завет, — говорит Господь, — определит Мои отношения с домом Израиля после дней тех: в мысли их вложу законы Мои и в сердца их впишу. И буду их Богом, а они будут народом Моим.

11 И не будет тогда никакой нужды учить ближнего своего и брата своего, говоря им: „Познайте Господа“. Ведь все они от мала до велика и без того будут знать Меня,

12 потому что все злодеяния их прощу им; грехи их не вспомню более».

13 Говоря о новом завете, Бог, в сущности, заявляет, что первый устарел. А устаревшее и пережившее себя обречено исчезнуть.

Chapter 8

1 NOW above all we have a high priest, who is seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven;

2 And he has become the minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which God pitched and not man.

3 For every high priest is appointed to offer gifts and sacrifices, therefore it is necessary that this man have something to offer also.

4 For if he were on earth, he would not be a priest, because there are priests who offer gifts according to the law:

5 Who serve the semblance and shadow of heavenly things, just as it was commanded to Moses when he was about to make the tabernacle: See that you make all things according to the pattern showed to thee in the mount.

6 But now Jesus Christ has received a ministry which is greater than that; just as the covenant in which he was made a mediator, is greater, so are the promises greater than those given in the old covenant.

7 For if the first covenant had been faultless, then there would have been no need for the second.

8 For he found fault with them, and said, Behold, the day is coming, saith the LORD, when I will perfect a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:

9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand and led them out of the land of Egypt; and because they abode not in my covenant, I rejected them, saith the LORD.

10 For this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law into their minds, and I will write it on their hearts: and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

11 And no man shall teach his neighbor, neither his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for all shall know me, from the youngest to the oldest.

12 And I will forgive their wickedness, and I will no longer remember their sins.

13 By that which he has said, With a new covenant, the first one has become old, and that which is old and obsolete is near destruction.
