Глава 20

1 Все эти слова сказал тогда Бог:

2 «Я — ГОСПОДЬ, Бог твой, Который вывел тебя из Египта, где ты был рабом.

3 Других богов, кроме Меня, быть у тебя не должно.

4 Не сотвори себе кумира — никаких изображений того, что на небе, вверху, и что на земле, внизу, и что в воде, ниже земли.

5 Не поклоняйся им и не служи им, ибо Я — ГОСПОДЬ, Бог твой, Бог, Который ожидает безраздельной преданности Себе, Который и с детей взыскивает за грехи, что родители им передают до третьего и даже четвертого поколения, продолжающих отвергать Меня.

6 Но тем, кто любит Меня и соблюдает заповеди Мои, Я милость творю и в тысячном поколении.

7 Не произноси без нужды имя ГОСПОДА, Бога твоего, — не посчитает Он невинным того, кто это делает.

8 Помни день субботний — да будет священным он для тебя!

9 Работай шесть дней и делай всё, что необходимо,

10 а седьмой день — суббота, день, посвящаемый ГОСПОДУ, Богу твоему. Никакой работой не занимайся в сей день, и не только ты сам, но и сын твой, и дочь твоя, и раб твой, и рабыня твоя, и скот твой, и человек пришлый, у вас поселившийся.

11 Ибо ГОСПОДЬ за шесть дней создал небо и землю, море и всё, что в них, а в день седьмой Он пребывал в покое. Потому и благословил ГОСПОДЬ день субботний и освятил его.

12 Почитай отца своего и мать свою, чтобы жил ты долго на земле, которую дарует тебе ГОСПОДЬ, Бог твой.

13 Не убивай.

14 Не прелюбодействуй.

15 Не кради.

16 Не давай ложных показаний против ближнего твоего.

17 Не желай завладеть тем, что принадлежит ближнему твоему: не обольщайся мыслью взять себе его жену или присвоить себе раба его, рабыню, быка или осла. Никто и ничто из всего, что есть у ближнего твоего, пусть не прельщает тебя».

18 Когда все собравшиеся вокруг горы услышали раскаты грома и трубный звук, увидели пламя и гору, сокрытую в дыме, затрепетали они и, подавшись назад, стали поодаль.

19 «Говори ты с нами, — сказали они Моисею, — и мы будем слушать, только не говорил бы с нами Бог — мы не вынесем этого, погибнем».

20 «Не бойтесь! — успокаивал их Моисей. — Бог сошел, чтобы испытать вас: Он хочет, чтобы, благоговея перед Ним, вы не грешили».

21 И всё же народ так и стоял в отдаленье, наблюдая за тем, как Моисей приблизился к той мгле, где ждал его Бог.

22 И тогда ГОСПОДЬ велел Моисею: «Передай сынам Израилевым: „Вы были при этом и сами убедились, что это Я обращался к вам с неба.

23 Так не пытайтесь же создать себе какое-либо божество вместо Меня: богов серебряных и золотых не делайте себе!

24 Воздвигни лишь жертвенник для служения Мне, сделай его из комьев земли и на нем приноси свои всесожжения и жертвы благодарственные; и пусть будут они, жертвы эти, из мелкого твоего и крупного рогатого скота. На всяком месте, Мной для богопоклонения избранном, везде, где имя Мое почитаемо будет, Я буду являться и благословлять тебя.

25 Если же захочешь поставить Мне жертвенник из камней, то не воздвигай его из отесанных, ведь всякий инструмент для обтесывания осквернит их.

26 И не восходи к жертвеннику Моему по ступеням, дабы не открылась над ним твоя нагота“.

5 Thou shalt not3808 bow down thyself7812 to them, nor3808 serve5647 them: for3588 I595 the LORD3068 thy God430 am a jealous7067 God,410 visiting6485 the iniquity5771 of the fathers1 upon5921 the children1121 unto5921 the third8029 and fourth7256 generation of them that hate8130 me;

6 And showing6213 mercy2617 unto thousands505 of them that love157 me, and keep8104 my commandments.4687

19 And they said559 unto413 Moses,4872 Speak1696 thou859 with5973 us, and we will hear:8085 but let not408 God430 speak1696 with5973 us, lest6435 we die.4191

20 And Moses4872 said559 unto413 the people,5971 Fear3372 not:408 for3588 God430 is come935 to5668 prove5254 you, and that5668 his fear3374 may be1961 before5921 your faces,6440 that ye sin2398 not.1115

21 And the people5971 stood5975 afar off,4480 7350 and Moses4872 drew near5066 unto413 the thick darkness6205 where834 8033 God430 was.

22 And the LORD3068 said559 unto413 Moses,4872 Thus3541 thou shalt say559 unto413 the children1121 of Israel,3478 Ye859 have seen7200 that3588 I have talked1696 with5973 you from4480 heaven.8064

23 Ye shall not3808 make6213 with854 me gods430 of silver,3701 neither3808 shall ye make6213 unto you gods430 of gold.2091

24 An altar4196 of earth127 thou shalt make6213 unto me, and shalt sacrifice2076 thereon5921 853 thy burnt offerings,5930 and thy peace offerings,8002 853 thy sheep,6629 and thine oxen:1241 in all3605 places4725 where834 I record2142 853 my name8034 I will come935 unto413 thee, and I will bless1288 thee.

25 And if518 thou wilt make6213 me an altar4196 of stone,68 thou shalt not3808 build1129 it of hewn stone:1496 for3588 if thou lift up5130 thy tool2719 upon5921 it, thou hast polluted2490 it.

26 Neither3808 shalt thou go up5927 by steps4609 unto5921 mine altar,4196 that834 thy nakedness6172 be not3808 discovered1540 thereon.5921

11 Ибо ГОСПОДЬ за шесть дней создал небо и землю, море и всё, что в них, а в день седьмой Он пребывал в покое. Потому и благословил ГОСПОДЬ день субботний и освятил его.
