Chapter 4

1 BUT it shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and all people shall gather to it.

2 And many nations shall come and say, Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths; for the law shall go forth out of Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

3 And he shall judge between many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into sickles; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

4 But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and there shall be none to harm them; for the mouth of the LORD of hosts has spoken it.

5 For all people will walk every one in the name of his god, and we will walk in the name of the LORD our God for ever and ever.

6 In that day, says the LORD, I will gather those who are afar off, and I will bring near those who have been driven out and those whom I have afflicted.

7 And I will make those who have been driven out a remnant, and those who are afar off a strong nation; and the LORD shall reign over them in mount Zion from henceforth, even for ever.

8 And you, O gloomy ruler of the daughter of Zion, your time has come, and the former ruler of the kingdom of the daughter of Jerusalem is coming.

9 Now why do you commit iniquity? Is there no king in you? Or have your counsellors perished? For pangs have taken you like a woman in travail.

10 Be in pain, and labor to bring forth, O daughter of Zion, like a woman in travail; for now you shall go forth out of the city, and you shall dwell in the desert, and you shall go even to Babylon; there you shall be delivered; there the LORD shall save you from the hand of your enemies.

11 Now many nations shall gather against you, who say, Let Zion be defiled, and let our eyes look upon it.

12 But they know not the thoughts of the LORD, neither do they understand his counsel; for he shall gather them as sheaves into the threshing floor.

13 Arise and thresh them, O daughter of Zion; for I will make your horns of iron, and your hoofs of brass; and you shall beat in pieces many peoples; and I will consecrate their possessions to the LORD, and their wealth to the LORD of the whole earth.

2 И пойдут1980 многие7227 народы1471 и скажут:559 придите,3212 и взойдем5927 на гору2022 Господню3068 и в дом1004 Бога430 Иаковлева,3290 и Он научит3384 нас путям1870 Своим, и будем3212 ходить3212 по стезям734 Его, ибо от Сиона6726 выйдет3318 закон8451 и слово1697 Господне3068 — из Иерусалима.3389

3 И будет8199 Он судить8199 многие7227 народы,5971 и обличит3198 многие6099 племена1471 в отдаленных7350 странах; и перекуют3807 они мечи2719 свои на орала855 и копья2595 свои — на серпы;4211 не поднимет5375 народ1471 на народ1471 меча,2719 и не будут3925 более учиться3925 воевать.4421

4 Но каждый376 будет3427 сидеть3427 под своею виноградною1612 лозою1612 и под своею смоковницею,8384 и никто не будет2729 устрашать2729 их, ибо уста6310 Господа3068 Саваофа6635 изрекли1696 это.

5 Ибо все народы5971 ходят,3212 каждый376 во имя8034 своего бога;430 а мы будем3212 ходить3212 во имя8034 Господа3068 Бога430 нашего во веки5769 веков.5703

6 В тот день,3117 говорит5002 Господь,3068 соберу622 хромлющее6760 и совокуплю6908 разогнанное5080 и тех, на кого Я навел7489 бедствие.7489

7 И сделаю7760 хромлющее6760 остатком7611 и далеко1972 рассеянное1972 сильным6099 народом,1471 и Господь3068 будет4427 царствовать4427 над ними на горе2022 Сионе6726 отныне5704 и до века.5769

8 А ты, башня4026 стада,57394029 холм6076 дщери1323 Сиона!6726 к тебе придет857 и возвратится935 прежнее7223 владычество,4475 царство4467 — к дщерям1323 Иерусалима.3389

9 Для чего же ты ныне так громко7452 вопиешь?7321 Разве нет у тебя царя?4428 Или не6 стало6 у тебя советника,3289 что тебя схватили2388 муки,2427 как рождающую?3205

10 Страдай2342 и мучься1518 болями,1518 дщерь1323 Сиона,6726 как рождающая,3205 ибо ныне ты выйдешь3318 из города7151 и будешь7931 жить7931 в поле,7704 и дойдешь935 до Вавилона:894 там будешь5337 спасена,5337 там искупит1350 тебя Господь3068 от руки3709 врагов341 твоих.

11 А теперь собрались622 против тебя многие7227 народы1471 и говорят:559 «да будет2610 она осквернена,2610 и да наглядится2372 око5869 наше на Сион!6726»

12 Но они не знают3045 мыслей4284 Господних3068 и не разумеют995 совета6098 Его, что Он собрал6908 их как снопы5995 на гумно.1637

13 Встань6965 и молоти,1758 дщерь1323 Сиона,6726 ибо Я сделаю7760 рог7161 твой железным1270 и копыта6541 твои сделаю7760 медными,5154 и сокрушишь1854 многие7227 народы,5971 и посвятишь2763 Господу3068 стяжания1215 их и богатства2428 их Владыке113 всей земли.776

6 In that day, says the LORD, I will gather those who are afar off, and I will bring near those who have been driven out and those whom I have afflicted.
