Chapter 2

1 WHEN any person shall offer a meal offering to the LORD, his offering shall be of fine flour; and he shall pour oil upon it and put frankincense thereon;

2 And he shall bring it to Aaron's sons, the priests; and he shall take from it his handful of the fine flour, and from the oil, with all the frankincense thereof; and the priest shall burn his memorial offering upon the altar to be an offering made by fire, a sweet savour to the LORD.

3 And the remnant of the meal offering shall be for Aaron and his sons; it is a thing most holy of the offerings of the LORD made by fire.

4 And when you offer a meal offering baked in the oven, it shall be unleavened cakes of fine flour mixed with oil or unleavened wafers mixed with oil.

5 And if your offering be a meal offering baked on a griddle, it shall be of fine unleavened flour mixed with oil.

6 You shall part it in pieces and pour oil upon the meal offering.

7 And if your offering is a meal offering baked in a pan, it shall be made of fine flour with oil.

8 And you shall bring the meal offering that is made of these things to the LORD; and you shall present it to the priest and he shall place it upon the altar to the LORD.

9 And the priest shall take from the meal offering a memorial thereof and shall burn it upon the altar; it is an offering made by fire, a sweet savour to the LORD.

10 And what is left of the meal offering shall be for Aaron and his sons; it is a thing most holy of the offerings of the LORD made by fire.

11 Every meal offering which you shall offer to the LORD shall be made without leaven, for you shall burn no leaven nor any honey in any offering of the LORD made by fire.

12 As for the offerings of the first-fruits, you shall offer them to the LORD; but they shall not be burnt on the altar for a sweet savour.

13 And every offering of your meal offering you shall season with salt; neither shall you let the salt of the covenant of your God to be lacking from your meal offering; with all your offerings you shall offer salt.

14 And if you offer a meal offering of the first-fruits to the LORD, you shall offer for the meal offering a handful of pure ears of wheat parched by fire; wheat beaten out of full ears, pure, you shall offer of your first-fruits.

15 And you shall put oil upon it and lay frankincense thereon; for it is a meal offering.

16 And the priest shall burn the memorial offering of it, part of the beaten wheat and part of the oil with all the frankincense thereof; it is an offering made by fire to the LORD.

1 Если человек жертвует в приношение Господу зерно, то это приношение должно быть из муки тонкого помола, и пусть он нальёт в муку оливковое масло и положит в неё ладан.

2 Потом пусть он принесёт это сыновьям Аарона, священникам, и возьмёт пригоршню тонкой муки с оливковым маслом и ладаном, а затем сожжёт это приношение в память на алтаре. Приношение огнём — благоухание, приятное Господу.

3 Остатки приношения зерна принадлежат Аарону и его сыновьям. Это приношение Господу огнём — великая святыня.

4 Если человек жертвует в приношение хлеб, испечённый в печи, это должен быть пресный хлеб из муки тонкого помола, смешанной с оливковым маслом, или тонкие лепёшки, помазанные маслом.

5 Если принесёшь хлеб, испечённый на противне, то пусть он будет из тонкой муки, смешанной с оливковым маслом, но без закваски.

6 Разломи его на куски и полей маслом — это хлебное приношение.

7 Если твоя жертва — хлебное приношение, выпеченное на сковороде, то пусть оно будет из муки тонкого помола, смешанной с оливковым маслом.

8 Когда ты приносишь Господу хлебное приношение, приготовленное таким образом, то представь его священнику, а он положит его на алтарь

9 и сожжёт это приношения в память на алтаре. Это — приношение огнём, его благоухание приятно Господу.

10 Остаток хлебного приношения принадлежит Аарону и его сыновьям. Это — жертва Господу огнём — великая святыня.

11 Не жертвуй Господу хлебного приношения, в котором есть закваска, и не сжигай закваску или мёд в приношение Господу огнём.

12 Можешь приносить в жертву Господу закваску или мёд от первого урожая, но во время приношения благоухания не сжигай на алтаре ни закваску, ни мёд.

13 Обязательно соли своё хлебное приношение, так как соль является знаком Божьего соглашения. Пусть соль будет во всех твоих приношениях.

14 Если приносишь Господу зерно из первого урожая, то прежде всего пожарь колосья, а затем растолки эти молодые зёрна.

15 Полей зерно оливковым маслом и положи в него ладан — это приношение зерна.

16 Пусть священник сожжёт часть толчёного зерна и оливкового масла с ладаном как приношение в память. Это — жертва Господу.
