Chapter 6

1 THE LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

2 Speak to the children of Israel and say to them, When a man or woman shall separate himself to vow a vow of a Nazarite, to separate himself to the LORD,

3 He shall abstain from wine and strong drink, and shall drink no vinegar of wine or vinegar of strong drink, neither shall he drink any juice of grapes, or eat grapes or raisins;

4 All the days of his separation he shall eat nothing that is made of the grapevine, from the skins even to the stones of raisins.

5 All the days of the vow of his separation there shall no razor come upon his head; until the days are fulfilled for which he separated himself to the LORD, he shall be holy and shall let the locks of the hair of his head grow.

6 All the days that he separates himself to the LORD he shall not come near a dead body.

7 He shall not defile himself for his father or for his mother, for his brother or for his sister when they die; because the crown of consecration of his God is upon his head.

8 All the days of his separation he is holy unto the LORD.

9 And if any man dies very suddenly by him, he has defiled the crown of his separation; then he shall shave his head on the day of his cleansing, on the seventh day shall he shave it.

10 And on the eighth day he shall bring two turtledoves or two young pigeons to the priest, to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation;

11 And the priest shall offer the one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering, and make an atonement for him, for the sin that he sinned by the dead body; and shall sanctify his head that same day.

12 And he shall consecrate to the LORD the days of his separation, and he shall bring a lamb of the first year for a trespass offering; but the previous days of his separation shall be void, because his separation was defiled.

13 This is the law of the Nazarite when the days of his separation are fulfilled: he shall be brought to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation,

14 And he shall offer his offering to the LORD, one male lamb of the first year without blemish for a burnt offering and one ewe lamb without blemish for a sin offering and one ram without blemish for a peace offering

15 And a basket of unleavened bread, cakes of fine flour mixed with oil and wafers of unleavened bread mixed with oil and their meal offering and their drink offering.

16 And the priest shall bring them before the LORD, and shall offer his sin offering and his burnt offering:

17 And he shall offer the ram for a sacrifice of peace offering to the LORD, with the basket of unleavened bread; the priest shall offer also his meal offering and his drink offering.

18 And the Nazarite shall shave his head as a sign of his separation at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall take the hair of the head of his separation and put it in the fire which is under the sacrifice of the peace offering.

19 And the priest shall take the cooked shoulder of the ram and one unleavened cake from the basket and one unleavened wafer, and shall put them in the hands of the Nazarite after he has shaved his hair as a sign of his separation;

20 And the priest shall wave them for a wave offering before the LORD: this is holy for the priest, with the wave breast and the shoulder; and after that the Nazarite may drink wine.

21 This is the law of the Nazarite who has made a vow, and of his offering to the LORD for his separation, excepting what he can afford in addition; according to the vow which he has vowed, so shall he do after the law of his separation.

22 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

23 Speak to Aaron and to his sons and say to them, Thus you shall bless the children of Israel, saying to them,

24 The LORD bless you and keep you;

25 The LORD make his face shine upon you and give you life;

26 The LORD lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.

27 And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel, and I will bless them.

3 der soll sich Weins3196 und starken Getränks7941 enthalten5144, Weinessig2558 oder starken Getränks7941 Essig2558 soll er auch nicht trinken8354, auch nichts4952, das aus Weinbeeren6025 gemacht wird; er soll weder frische3892 noch dürre3002 Weinbeeren6025 essen398,

4 solange3117 solch sein Gelübde5145 währet; auch soll er nichts essen398, das man vom Weinstock1612 macht6213, weder Weinkern2785 noch Hülsen2085.

5 Solange die Zeit3117 solches seines Gelübdes5088 währet, soll kein Schermesser8593 über5674 sein Haupt7218 fahren, bis daß die Zeit3117 aus sei, die er dem HErrn3068 gelobet hat4390; denn er ist heilig6918 und soll das Haar6545 auf seinem Haupt7218 lassen frei wachsen1431.

6 Die ganze Zeit3117 über, die er dem HErrn3068 gelobet hat5144, soll er zu keinem Toten4191 gehen935.

7 Er soll sich auch nicht verunreinigen2930 an dem Tod4194 seines Vaters1, seiner Mutter517, seines Bruders251 oder seiner Schwester269; denn das Gelübde5145 seines Gottes430 ist auf seinem Haupt7218.

8 Und die ganze Zeit3117 über seines Gelübdes5145 soll er dem HErrn3068 heilig6918 sein.

9 Und wo jemand4191 vor ihm unversehens6621 plötzlich6597 stirbt4191, da wird das Haupt7218 seines Gelübdes5145 verunreiniget; darum soll er sein2930 Haupt7218 bescheren am Tage3117 seiner Reinigung, das ist2893, am siebenten7637 Tage3117.

10 Und1121 am achten8066 Tage3117 soll er zwo Turteltauben8449 bringen935, oder zwo junge Tauben, zum Priester3548 vor die3123 Tür6607 der Hütte168 des Stifts4150.

11 Und3548 der Priester soll eine259 zum Sündopfer2403 und die andere zum Brandopfer5930 machen6213 und ihn versöhnen3722, daß834 er sich2398 an einem259 Toten5315 versündiget hat, und also sein Haupt7218 desselben Tages3117 heiligen6942,

12 daß3117 er5307 dem HErrn3068 die Zeit8141 seines Gelübdes5145 aushalte5144. Und1121 soll ein jährig Lamm3532 bringen zum Schuldopfer817. Aber die vorigen7223 Tage3117 sollen umsonst sein2930, darum daß sein Gelübde5145 verunreiniget ist935.

13 Dies ist4390 das Gesetz8451 des Verlobten: Wenn3117 die Zeit3117 seines Gelübdes5145 aus ist935, so soll man ihn bringen vor die Tür6607 der Hütte168 des Stifts4150.

14 Und1121 er soll bringen7126 sein Opfer7133 dem HErrn3068, ein259 jährig Lamm3532 ohne Wandel zum Brandopfer5930 und ein259 jährig Schaf3535 ohne Wandel zum Sündopfer2403 und einen259 Widder352 ohne Wandel zum Dankopfer8002

15 und einen Korb5536 mit1101 ungesäuerten4682 Kuchen2471 von Semmelmehl5560, mit Öl8081 gemenget, und ungesäuerte4682 Fladen7550, mit Öl8081 bestrichen4886, und ihre Speisopfer4503 und Trankopfer5262.

16 Und3548 der Priester soll‘s vor6440 den HErrn3068 bringen7126 und soll sein Sündopfer2403 und sein Brandopfer5930 machen6213.

17 Und3548 den Widder352 soll er zum Dankopfer2077 machen6213 dem HErrn3068 samt dem Korbe5536 mit dem ungesäuerten Brot4682; und soll auch sein Speisopfer4503 und sein Trankopfer5262 machen6213.

18 Und5414 soll dem Verlobten das Haupt7218 seines Gelübdes5145 bescheren vor der Tür6607 der Hütte168 des Stifts4150; und soll das Haupthaar8181 seines Gelübdes5145 nehmen und aufs Feuer784 werfen, das unter dem Dankopfer2077 ist3947.

19 Und3548 soll den gekochten1311 Bug2220 nehmen3947 von dem Widder352 und einen259 ungesäuerten4682 Kuchen4682 aus dem Korbe5536 und einen259 ungesäuerten Fladen7550 und soll‘s dem Verlobten auf seine Hände3709 legen5414, nachdem310 er sein Gelübde5145 abgeschoren hat1548,

20 und3548 soll‘s vor6440 dem HErrn3068 weben5130. Das ist310 heilig6944 dem Priester samt der Webebrust8573 und3548 der Hebeschulter8641. Danach mag der Verlobte Wein3196 trinken8354.

21 Das ist das Gesetz8451 des Verlobten, der sein Opfer7133 dem HErrn3068 gelobet, von3027 wegen seines Gelübdes5145, außer dem, was er sonst vermag5381; wie er gelobet hat5087, soll er tun6213 nach6310 dem Gesetz8451 seines Gelübdes5088.

22 Und der HErr3068 redete1696 mit Mose4872 und sprach559:

23 Sage559 Aaron175 und seinen Söhnen1121 und sprich1696: Also3541 sollt ihr sagen559 zu den Kindern1121 Israel3478, wenn ihr sie segnet1288:

24 Der HErr3068 segne dich1288 und behüte dich8104!

25 Der HErr3068 lasse sein Angesicht6440 leuchten215 über dir und sei dir gnädig2603!
