7 Therefore59213651 the abundance3502 they have gotten,6213 and that which they have laid up,6486 shall they carry away5375 to5921 the brook5158 of the willows.6155
8 For3588 the cry2201 is gone round5362 about853 the borders1366 of Moab;4124 the howling3213 thereof unto5704 Eglaim,97 and the howling3213 thereof unto Beer-elim.879
9 For3588 the waters4325 of Dimon1775 shall be full4390 of blood:1818 for3588 I will bring7896 more3254 upon5921 Dimon,1775 lions738 upon him that escapeth6413 of Moab,4124 and upon the remnant7611 of the land.127

1 Вот печальная весть о Моаве: Однажды ночью армии захватили богатства Ара моавского, весь город был разрушен. Из Кира моавского они тоже взяли богатства, и уничтожили город.
2 Семья царя и весь народ Дивона идут к местам поклонения с плачем. Плачут люди Моава о Медеве и Нево, в знак печали у всех острижены головы и бороды сбриты.
3 На крышах и на улицах Моава все одеты в одежды печали и плачут.
4 И громок плач в Есевоне и Елеале, он слышится в самом Иааце, и даже солдаты в испуге дрожат от страха.
5 Плачет сердце моё, скорбя по Моаву, все спасаться бегут в Сигор и Эглу, люди плачут на горной дороге в Лухит и на дороге в Оронаим.
6 Но как в пустыне иссякли воды Нимрима, растения мертвы, не стало зелени.
7 Люди, пожитки свои собрав, несут их через долину Плакучих ив.
8 Плач слышится всюду в Моаве, плачут в далёком Еглаиме, плачут в городе Беер-Елим.
9 Крови полны воды Димона, но Я принесу ещё больше несчастий. Некоторые из Моава спаслись от врага, но Я пошлю на них львов, которые их сожрут.
