1 Come near,7126 ye nations,1471 to hear;8085 and hearken,7181 ye people:3816 let the earth776 hear,8085 and all that is therein;4393 the world,8398 and all things3605 that come forth6631 of it.

1 Kommt herzu7126, ihr Heiden1471, und höret, ihr Völker3816, merket auf7181; die Erde776 höre8085 zu8085, und was drinnen ist4393, der Weltkreis8398 samt seinem Gewächse!

2 For3588 the indignation7110 of the LORD3068 is upon5921 all3605 nations,1471 and his fury2534 upon5921 all3605 their armies:6635 he hath utterly destroyed2763 them, he hath delivered5414 them to the slaughter.2874
|
2 Denn der HErr3068 ist zornig7110 über alle Heiden1471 und grimmig2534 über all ihr Heer6635; er wird sie5414 verbannen2763 und zum Schlachten2874 überantworten.

3 Their slain2491 also shall be cast out,7993 and their stink889 shall come up5927 out of their carcasses,6297 and the mountains2022 shall be melted4549 with their blood.4480 1818

3 Und6297 ihre Erschlagenen2491 werden7993 hingeworfen werden5927, daß der Gestank889 von ihren Leichnamen aufgehen wird4549 und die Berge2022 mit ihrem Blut1818 fließen.

4 And all3605 the host6635 of heaven8064 shall be dissolved,4743 and the heavens8064 shall be rolled together1556 as a scroll:5612 and all3605 their host6635 shall fall down,5034 as the leaf5929 falleth off5034 from the vine,4480 1612 and as a falling5034 fig from the fig tree.4480 8384

4 Und wird alles Heer6635: des Himmels8064 verfaulen4743, und der Himmel8064 wird eingewickelt werden1556 wie ein Brief5612, und all sein Heer6635 wird verwelken5034, wie ein Blatt5929 verwelket am Weinstock1612 und wie ein dürr Blatt am Feigenbaum8384.

5 For3588 my sword2719 shall be bathed7301 in heaven:8064 behold,2009 it shall come down3381 upon5921 Idumea,123 and upon5921 the people5971 of my curse,2764 to judgment.4941

5 Denn mein Schwert2719 ist trunken7301 im Himmel8064; und siehe, es wird herniederfahren3381 auf Edom123 und über das verbannte2764 Volk5971 zur Strafe4941.

6 The sword2719 of the LORD3068 is filled4390 with blood,1818 it is made fat1878 with fatness,4480 2459 and with the blood4480 1818 of lambs3733 and goats,6260 with the fat4480 2459 of the kidneys3629 of rams:352 for3588 the LORD3068 hath a sacrifice2077 in Bozrah,1224 and a great1419 slaughter2874 in the land776 of Idumea.123

6 Des HErrn3068 Schwert2719 ist4390 voll Bluts1818 und dick1878 von Fettem, vom Blut1818 der Lämmer3733 und Böcke6260, von der Nieren3629 Fett2459 aus den Widdern352; denn der HErr3068 hält ein Schlachten2077 zu Bozra1224 und ein großes1419 Würgen2874 im Lande776 Edom123.

7 And the unicorns7214 shall come down3381 with5973 them, and the bullocks6499 with5973 the bulls;47 and their land776 shall be soaked7301 with blood,4480 1818 and their dust6083 made fat1878 with fatness.4480 2459

7 Da werden1878 die Einhörner7214 samt ihnen herunter3381 müssen und die Farren6499 samt den gemästeten Ochsen47. Denn ihr Land wird trunken7301 werden von Blut1818, und ihre Erde776 dick werden von Fettem.

8 For3588 it is the day3117 of the LORD's3068 vengeance,5359 and the year8141 of recompenses7966 for the controversy7379 of Zion.6726

8 Denn es ist der Tag3117 der Rache des HErrn3068 und das Jahr8141 der Vergeltung7966, zu rächen5359 Zion6726.

9 And the streams5158 thereof shall be turned2015 into pitch,2203 and the dust6083 thereof into brimstone,1614 and the land776 thereof shall become1961 burning1197 pitch.2203
|
9 Da werden2015 ihre Bäche5158 zu Pech2203 werden1197 und ihre Erde6083 zu Schwefel1614; ja, ihr Land776 wird zu brennendem Pech2203 werden,

10 It shall not3808 be quenched3518 night3915 nor day;3119 the smoke6227 thereof shall go up5927 forever:5769 from generation4480 1755 to generation1755 it shall lie waste;2717 none369 shall pass through5674 it forever5331 and ever.5331

10 das weder Tag3119 noch Nacht3915 verlöschen3518 wird, sondern ewiglich5769 wird Rauch6227 von ihr aufgehen5927, und wird für1755 und für1755 wüste sein2717, daß5331 niemand dadurchgehen wird in5674 Ewigkeit,

11 But the cormorant6893 and the bittern7090 shall possess3423 it; the owl3244 also and the raven6158 shall dwell7931 in it: and he shall stretch out5186 upon5921 it the line6957 of confusion,8414 and the stones68 of emptiness.922

11 sondern Rohrdommeln6893 und68 Igel7090 werden‘s inne haben3423, Nachteulen3244 und Raben6158 werden daselbst wohnen7931. Denn er wird eine Meßschnur6957 darüber ziehen5186, daß sie wüste8414 werde, und ein Richtblei, daß sie öde922 sei,

12 They shall call7121 the nobles2715 thereof to the kingdom,4410 but none369 shall be there,8033 and all3605 her princes8269 shall be1961 nothing.657

12 daß ihre Herren2715 heißen7121 müssen Herren ohne Land4410 und alle ihre Fürsten8269 ein Ende haben657.

13 And thorns5518 shall come up5927 in her palaces,759 nettles7057 and brambles2336 in the fortresses4013 thereof: and it shall be1961 a habitation5116 of dragons,8565 and a court2681 for owls.1323 3284
|
13 Und werden5927 Dornen5518 wachsen in ihren Palästen759, Nesseln7057 und Disteln2336 in ihren Schlössern4013; und wird eine Behausung sein der Drachen8577 und Weide5116 für die Straußen.

14 The wild beasts of the desert6728 shall also meet6298 with854 the wild beasts of the island,338 and the satyr8163 shall cry7121 to5921 his fellow;7453 the screech owl3917 also389 shall rest7280 there,8033 and find4672 for herself a place of rest.4494

14 Da werden untereinander laufen Marder und Geier, und ein Feldteufel8163 wird dem andern7453 begegnen6298; der Kobold3917 wird auch daselbst herbergen und seine Ruhe7280 daselbst finden4672.

15 There8033 shall the great owl7091 make her nest,7077 and lay,4422 and hatch,1234 and gather1716 under her shadow:6738 there8033 shall the vultures1772 also389 be gathered,6908 every one802 with her mate.7468
|
15 Der Igel wird auch daselbst802 nisten7077 und legen4422, brüten1234 und aushecken1716 unter ihrem Schatten6738; auch werden6908 die Weihen1772 daselbst zusammenkommen7468.

16 Seek1875 ye out of4480 5921 the book5612 of the LORD,3068 and read:7121 no3808 one259 of these4480 2007 shall fail,5737 none3808 802 shall want6485 her mate:7468 for3588 my mouth6310 it1931 hath commanded,6680 and his spirit7307 it1931 hath gathered6908 them.

16 Suchet1875 nun in dem Buch5612 des HErrn3068 und6908 leset! Es wird6485 nicht an einem259 derselbigen fehlen5737; man7121 vermißt auch nicht dieses noch des. Denn er ist‘s, der durch meinen Mund6310 gebeut6680, und sein Geist7307 ist‘s, der es zusammenbringet.

17 And he1931 hath cast5307 the lot1486 for them, and his hand3027 hath divided2505 it unto them by line:6957 they shall possess3423 it forever,5704 5769 from generation1755 to generation1755 shall they dwell7931 therein.

17 Er5307 gibt2505 das Los1486 über sie, und seine Hand3027 teilt das Maß6957 aus unter sie, daß sie darinnen erben3423 ewiglich5704 und darinnen bleiben7931 für5769 und für1755.
