2 die großen1419 Versuchungen4531, die deine Augen5869 gesehen7200 haben, daß es große1419 Zeichen226 und Wunder4159 waren.

3 Und der HErr3068 hat3045 euch bis auf diesen heutigen Tag3117 noch nicht gegeben5414 ein Herz3820, das8085 verständig wäre, Augen5869, die da sähen7200, und Ohren241, die da höreten.

4 Yet the LORD3068 hath not3808 given5414 you a heart3820 to perceive,3045 and eyes5869 to see,7200 and ears241 to hear,8085 unto5704 this2088 day.3117

4 Er hat euch vierzig705 Jahre8141 in der Wüste4057 lassen wandeln3212; eure Kleider8008 sind an euch nicht veraltet1086, und dein Schuh5275 ist nicht veraltet1086 an deinen Füßen7272.

5 And I have led1980 you forty705 years8141 in the wilderness:4057 your clothes8008 are not3808 waxen old1086 upon4480 5921 you, and thy shoe5275 is not3808 waxen old1086 upon4480 5921 thy foot.7272

5 Ihr3045 habt kein Brot3899 gegessen398 und keinen Wein3196 getrunken8354 noch stark Getränke, auf daß du wissest, daß ich der HErr3068, euer GOtt430, bin.

6 Ye have not3808 eaten398 bread,3899 neither3808 have ye drunk8354 wine3196 or strong drink:7941 that4616 ye might know3045 that3588 I589 am the LORD3068 your God.430
|
6 Und da ihr935 kamet an diesen Ort4725, zog aus3318 der König4428 Sihon5511 zu Hesbon2809 und der König4428 Og5747 zu Basan1316 uns entgegen7125, mit uns zu streiten4421. Und wir haben sie geschlagen5221

7 And when ye came935 unto413 this2088 place,4725 Sihon5511 the king4428 of Heshbon,2809 and Og5747 the king4428 of Bashan,1316 came out3318 against7125 us unto battle,4421 and we smote5221 them:

7 und ihr Land776 eingenommen3947 und zum Erbteil5159 gegeben5414 den Rubenitern7206 und Gaditern1425 und dem halben2677 Stamm7626 der Manassiter4520.

8 And we took3947 853 their land,776 and gave5414 it for an inheritance5159 unto the Reubenites,7206 and to the Gadites,1425 and to the half2677 tribe7626 of Manasseh.4520

8 So haltet8104 nun die Worte1697 dieses Bundes1285 und tut6213 danach, auf daß ihr weislich handeln7919 möget in all eurem Tun6213.

9 Ihr stehet5324 heute3117 alle vor6440 dem HErrn3068, eurem GOtt430, die Obersten7218 eurer Stämme7626, eure Ältesten2205, eure Amtleute7860, ein376 jedermann in Israel3478,

10 Ye859 stand5324 this day3117 all3605 of you before6440 the LORD3068 your God;430 your captains7218 of your tribes,7626 your elders,2205 and your officers,7860 with all3605 the men376 of Israel,3478

10 eure Kinder2945, eure Weiber802, dein Fremdling1616, der in deinem7130 Lager4264 ist, beide dein Holzhauer2404 und6086 dein Wasserschöpfer7579,

11 Your little ones,2945 your wives,802 and thy stranger1616 that834 is in7130 thy camp,4264 from the hewer4480 2404 of thy wood6086 unto5704 the drawer7579 of thy water: 4325

11 daß du einhergehen sollst in5674 dem Bunde1285 des HErrn3068, deines Gottes430, und in dem Eide, den der HErr3068, dein GOtt430, heute3117 mit dir macht3772,

12 That thou shouldest enter5674 into covenant1285 with the LORD3068 thy God,430 and into his oath,423 which834 the LORD3068 thy God430 maketh3772 with5973 thee this day: 3117
|
12 auf6965 daß er dich heute3117 ihm zum Volk5971 aufrichte, und er dein GOtt430 sei, wie er dir geredet hat1696 und wie er deinen Vätern1, Abraham85, Isaak3327 und Jakob3290, geschworen7650 hat.

13 That4616 he may establish6965 thee today3117 for a people5971 unto himself, and that he1931 may be1961 unto thee a God,430 as834 he hath said1696 unto thee, and as834 he hath sworn7650 unto thy fathers,1 to Abraham,85 to Isaac,3327 and to Jacob.3290

13 Denn ich mache3772 diesen Bund1285 und diesen Eid423 nicht mit euch alleine,

|
14 Neither3808 with854 you only905 do I595 make3772 853 this2063 covenant1285 and this2063 oath;423
|
14 sondern beide mit euch, die ihr heute3117 hie seid3426 und mit uns stehet5975 vor6440 dem HErrn3068, unserm GOtt430, und mit denen, die heute3117 nicht mit uns sind.

15 But3588 with854 him that834 standeth5975 here6311 with5973 us this day3117 before6440 the LORD3068 our God,430 and also with854 him that834 is not369 here6311 with5973 us this day: 3117
|
15 Denn ihr3427 wisset, wie wir in5674 Ägyptenland776 gewohnet haben3045 und mitten7130 durch die Heiden1471 gezogen sind5674, durch welche ihr zoget,

16 (For3588 ye859 know3045 853 how834 we have dwelt3427 in the land776 of Egypt;4714 and how834 we came5674 through7130 the nations1471 which834 ye passed by;5674

16 und sahet ihre Greuel8251 und ihre Götzen1544, Holz6086 und Stein68, Silber3701 und Gold2091, die bei ihnen waren7200.

17 And ye have seen7200 853 their abominations,8251 and their idols,1544 wood6086 and stone,68 silver3701 and gold,2091 which834 were among5973 them: )

17 Daß nicht vielleicht3426 ein Mann376, oder ein Weib802, oder ein Gesinde, oder ein Stamm7626 unter5647 euch3212 sei, des Herz3824 heute3117 sich6437 von dem HErrn3068, unserm GOtt430, gewandt habe, daß es hingehe und430 diene den Göttern dieser Völker4940, und werde vielleicht3426 eine Wurzel8328 unter euch, die da Galle7219 und Wermut3939 trage6509,

18 Lest6435 there should be3426 among you man,376 or176 woman,802 or176 family,4940 or176 tribe,7626 whose834 heart3824 turneth away6437 this day3117 from4480 5973 the LORD3068 our God,430 to go1980 and serve5647 853 the gods430 of these1992 nations;1471 lest6435 there should be3426 among you a root8328 that beareth6509 gall7219 and wormwood;3939

18 und ob er schon höre8085 die Worte1697 dieses Fluchs, dennoch sich3212 segne1288 in seinem Herzen3820 und spreche559: Es gehet mir wohl7965, weil ich wandele, wie es mein Herz3824 dünket; auf daß3588 die Trunkene mit der Durstigen6771 dahinfahre.

19 And it come to pass,1961 when he heareth8085 853 the words1697 of this2063 curse,423 that he bless himself1288 in his heart,3824 saying,559 I shall have1961 peace,7965 though3588 I walk1980 in the imagination8307 of mine heart,3820 to4616 add5595 drunkenness7302 to854 thirst: 6771

19 Da wird der HErr3068 dem nicht14 gnädig sein5545, sondern dann wird sein Zorn639 und Eifer7068 rauchen6225 über solchen Mann376, und werden sich auf ihn3068 legen7257 alle Flüche423, die in diesem Buch5612 geschrieben sind3789. Und der HErr3068 wird seinen Namen8034 austilgen4229 unter dem Himmel8064

20 The LORD3068 will14 not3808 spare5545 him, but3588 then227 the anger639 of the LORD3068 and his jealousy7068 shall smoke6225 against that1931 man,376 and all3605 the curses423 that are written3789 in this2088 book5612 shall lie7257 upon him, and the LORD3068 shall blot out4229 853 his name8034 from under4480 8478 heaven.8064

20 und wird ihn3068 absondern914 zum Unglück7451 aus allen Stämmen7626 Israels3478 laut aller Flüche423 des Bundes1285, der in dem Buch5612 dieses Gesetzes8451 geschrieben ist3789.

21 And the LORD3068 shall separate914 him unto evil7451 out of all4480 3605 the tribes7626 of Israel,3478 according to all3605 the curses423 of the covenant1285 that are written3789 in this2088 book5612 of the law: 8451
|
21 So werden6965 dann sagen559 die Nachkommen1755 eurer Kinder1121, die nach euch310 aufkommen werden7200, und935 die Fremden5237, die aus fernen7350 Landen776 kommen314, so sie die Plagen4347 dieses Landes776 sehen und die Krankheiten8463, damit sie der HErr3068 beladen hat2470,

22 So that the generation1755 to come314 of your children1121 that834 shall rise up6965 after4480 310 you, and the stranger5237 that834 shall come935 from a far7350 land,4480 776 shall say,559 when they see7200 853 the plagues4347 of that1931 land,776 and the sicknesses8463 which834 the LORD3068 hath laid2470 upon it;

22 daß er all ihr Land776 mit Schwefel1614 und8316 Salz4417 verbrannt hat4114, daß es nicht besäet2232 werden2015 mag, noch wächset, noch kein Kraut6212 drinnen aufgehet, gleichwie Sodom5467 und Gomorrha, Adama126 und Zeboim6636 umgekehret sind5927, die der HErr3068 in seinem Zorn639 und Grimm2534 umgekehret hat.

23 And that the whole3605 land776 thereof is brimstone,1614 and salt,4417 and burning,8316 that it is not3808 sown,2232 nor3808 beareth,6779 nor3808 any3605 grass6212 groweth5927 therein, like the overthrow4114 of Sodom,5467 and Gomorrah,6017 Admah,126 and Zeboim,6636 which834 the LORD3068 overthrew2015 in his anger,639 and in his wrath: 2534

23 So werden alle Völker1471 sagen559: Warum hat der HErr3068 diesem Lande also getan6213? Was ist das776 für so großer1419, grimmiger Zorn639?
|
|
24 Even all3605 nations1471 shall say,559 Wherefore5921 4100 hath the LORD3068 done6213 thus3602 unto this2063 land?776 what4100 meaneth the heat2750 of this2088 great1419 anger?639
|
24 So wird man559 sagen: Darum daß sie den Bund1285 des HErrn3068, ihrer Väter1 GOtt430, verlassen5800 haben, den er mit ihnen machte3772, da er sie aus3318 Ägyptenland776 führete;
|
|
25 Then men shall say,559 Because5921 834 they have forsaken5800 853 the covenant1285 of the LORD3068 God430 of their fathers,1 which834 he made3772 with5973 them when he brought them forth3318 853 out of the land4480 776 of Egypt: 4714
|
25 und430 sind hingegangen3212 und haben5647 andern312 Göttern gedienet und sie angebetet, solche Götter430, die sie nicht kennen3045, und die ihnen nichts gegeben haben7812;
|
|
26 For they went1980 and served5647 other312 gods,430 and worshiped7812 them, gods430 whom834 they knew3045 not,3808 and whom he had not3808 given2505 unto them:
|
26 darum ist935 des HErrn3068 Zorn639 ergrimmet über dies Land776, daß er über sie hat kommen lassen alle Flüche7045, die in diesem Buch5612 geschrieben stehen3789;
|
|
27 And the anger639 of the LORD3068 was kindled2734 against this1931 land,776 to bring935 upon5921 it853 all3605 the curses7045 that are written3789 in this2088 book: 5612
|
27 und der HErr3068 hat sie aus ihrem Lande776 gestoßen5428 mit großem1419 Zorn639, Grimm2534 und Ungnade7110 und hat sie in ein ander312 Land127 geworfen7993, wie es stehet heutigestages3117.

|
28 And the LORD3068 rooted them out5428 of4480 5921 their land127 in anger,639 and in wrath,2534 and in great1419 indignation,7110 and cast7993 them into413 another312 land,776 as it is this2088 day.3117
|
28 Das1697 Geheimnis5641 des HErrn3068, unsers Gottes430, ist offenbaret uns und unsern Kindern1121 ewiglich5704, daß wir tun6213 sollen alle Worte dieses Gesetzes8451.
|
|
29 The secret5641 things belong unto the LORD3068 our God:430 but those things which are revealed1540 belong unto us and to our children1121 forever,5704 5769 that we may do6213 853 all3605 the words1697 of this2063 law.8451
