2 Then arose6965 Ishmael3458 the son1121 of Nethaniah,5418 and the ten6235 men582 that were with him, and smote5221 Gedaliah1436 the son1121 of Ahikam296 the son1121 of Shaphan8227 with the sword,2719 and slew4191 him, whom834 the king4428 of Babylon894 had made governor6485 over the land.776

9 Now the pit953 wherein834 Ishmael3458 had cast7993 all3605 the dead6297 bodies6297 of the men,582 whom834 he had slain5221 because3027 of Gedaliah,1436 was it which834 Asa609 the king4428 had made6213 for fear6440 of Baasha1201 king4428 of Israel:3478 and Ishmael3458 the son1121 of Nethaniah5418 filled4390 it with them that were slain.2491
