Chapter 5

1 And if3588 a soul5315 sin,2398 and hear8085 the voice6963 of swearing,423 and is a witness,5707 whether176 he has seen7200 or176 known3045 of it; if518 he do not utter5046 it, then he shall bear5375 his iniquity.5771

2 Or176 if834 a soul5315 touch5060 any3605 unclean2931 thing,1697 whether176 it be a carcass5038 of an unclean2931 beast,2416 or176 a carcass5038 of unclean2931 cattle,929 or176 the carcass5038 of unclean2931 creeping8318 things, and if it be hidden5956 from him; he also shall be unclean,2931 and guilty.816

3 Or176 if3588 he touch5060 the uncleanness2932 of man,120 whatever3605 uncleanness2932 it be that a man shall be defiled2930 with, and it be hid5956 from him; when he knows3045 of it, then he shall be guilty.816

4 Or176 if3588 a soul5315 swear,7650 pronouncing981 with his lips8193 to do evil,7489 or176 to do good,3190 whatever3605 834 it be that a man120 shall pronounce981 with an oath,7621 and it be hid5956 from him; when he knows3045 of it, then he shall be guilty816 in one259 of these.428

5 And it shall be, when3588 he shall be guilty816 in one259 of these428 things, that he shall confess3034 that he has sinned2398 in that thing:

6 And he shall bring935 his trespass817 offering817 to the LORD3068 for his sin2403 which834 he has sinned,2398 a female5347 from the flock,6629 a lamb3776 or176 a kid8166 of the goats,5795 for a sin2403 offering; and the priest3548 shall make an atonement3722 for him concerning his sin.2403

7 And if518 he be not able5060 1767 to bring5060 a lamb,7716 then he shall bring935 for his trespass,817 which834 he has committed,2398 two8147 turtledoves,8449 or176 two8147 young1121 pigeons,3123 to the LORD;3068 one259 for a sin2403 offering, and the other259 for a burnt5930 offering.

8 And he shall bring935 them to the priest,3548 who shall offer7126 that which834 is for the sin2403 offering first,7223 and wring4454 off his head7218 from his neck,6203 but shall not divide914 it asunder:

9 And he shall sprinkle5137 of the blood1818 of the sin2403 offering on the side7023 of the altar;4196 and the rest7604 of the blood1818 shall be wrung4680 out at413 the bottom3247 of the altar:4196 it is a sin2403 offering.

10 And he shall offer6213 the second8145 for a burnt5930 offering, according to the manner:4941 and the priest3548 shall make an atonement3722 for him for his sin2403 which834 he has sinned,2398 and it shall be forgiven5545 him.

11 But if518 he be not able5381 to bring5381 two8147 turtledoves,8449 or176 two8147 young1121 pigeons,3123 then he that sinned2398 shall bring935 for his offering7133 the tenth6224 part of an ephah374 of fine flour5560 for a sin2403 offering; he shall put7760 no3808 oil8081 on it, neither3808 shall he put5414 any frankincense3828 thereon:5921 for it is a sin2403 offering.

12 Then shall he bring935 it to the priest,3548 and the priest3548 shall take7061 his handful4393 7062 of it, even853 a memorial234 thereof, and burn6999 it on the altar,4196 according5921 to the offerings made by fire to the LORD:3068 it is a sin2403 offering.

13 And the priest3548 shall make an atonement3722 for him as touching5921 his sin2403 that he has sinned2398 in one259 of these,428 and it shall be forgiven5545 him: and the remnant shall be the priest's,3548 as a meat offering.4503

14 And the LORD3068 spoke1696 to Moses,4872 saying,559

15 If3588 a soul5315 commit4603 a trespass,4604 and sin2398 through ignorance,7684 in the holy6944 things of the LORD;3068 then he shall bring935 for his trespass817 to the LORD3068 a ram352 without8549 blemish8549 out of the flocks,6629 with your estimation6187 by shekels8255 of silver,3701 after the shekel8255 of the sanctuary,6944 for a trespass817 offering.

16 And he shall make amends7999 for the harm2398 that he has done in the holy6944 thing, and shall add3254 the fifth2549 part thereto,5921 and give5414 it to the priest:3548 and the priest3548 shall make an atonement3722 for him with the ram352 of the trespass817 offering, and it shall be forgiven5545 him.

17 And if3588 a soul5315 sin,2398 and commit6213 any259 of these things which834 are forbidden3808 to be done6213 by the commandments4687 of the LORD;3068 though he knew3045 it not, yet is he guilty,816 and shall bear5375 his iniquity.5771

18 And he shall bring935 a ram352 without8549 blemish8549 out of the flock,6629 with your estimation,6187 for a trespass817 offering, to the priest:3548 and the priest3548 shall make an atonement3722 for him concerning5921 his ignorance7684 wherein834 he erred7683 and knew3045 it not, and it shall be forgiven5545 him.

19 It is a trespass817 offering: he has certainly trespassed816 against the LORD.3068

1 Если человек выступает свидетелем в суде и даёт клятву говорить только правду, но на самом деле не расскажет о том, что видел или слышал, то будет виновен в грехе.

2 В том случае если человек прикоснулся к чему-нибудь нечистому, будь то мёртвое тело домашнего животного или труп нечистого животного, но не знал, что коснулся этого, то он всё равно будет повинен в грехе и должен заплатить за это.

3 Человек может прикоснуться ко многим вещам, от которых он может стать нечистым, и даже не знать об этом. Когда же он узнает, что прикоснулся к чему-либо нечистому, то вина будет на нём, и он должен заплатить за это.

4 Человек может необдуманно дать обещание сделать что-либо, будь то плохое или хорошее. Люди дают много безрассудных обещаний, и человек, дав такое обещание, может за быть о нём. Когда же он вспомнит своё обещание, то будет виновен и должен заплатить, так как не сдержал его.

5 Итак, если человек виновен в каком-либо из этих грехов, он должен в нём исповедаться.

6 Он должен принести Господу жертву повинности за совершённый грех, и священник очистит его от греха.

7 Если человек не в состоянии принести овцу, он должен принести двух горлиц или двух молодых голубей. Это приношение будет его жертвой повинности за грех, который он совершил. Одна птица будет жертвой за грех, а другая должна быть принесена во всесожжение.

8 Человек должен принести их к священнику, который сначала принесёт жертву за грех. Он надломит голову птицы от шеи, но не оторвёт её.

9 Священник должен окропить стену алтаря кровью приношения за грех, а остальную кровь должен вылить у подножия алтаря. Это — жертва за грех.

10 Затем священник должен принести в жертву вторую птицу в соответствии с правилами всесожжения. Так священник очистит человека от совершённого греха, и Бог простит того человека.

11 Если же человек не в состоянии принести двух горлиц или двух голубей, он должен принести восемь чашек пшеничной муки, и это будет его жертвой за грех. В муку нельзя лить ни оливкового масла, ни ладана, так как это жертва за грех.

12 Человек должен принести муку к священнику, и тот возьмёт горсть этой муки. Это будет жертва в память. Священник сожжёт муку на жертвеннике, и это будет жертвой всесожжения Господу, жертвой за грех.

13 Так священник очистит этого человека от греха, и Бог простит его. То, что останется от хлебной жертвы, принадлежит священнику, как и хлебное приношение».

14 Господь сказал Моисею:

15 «Человек может по ошибке совершить грех по отношению к святыням Господа. В этом случае человек должен принести барана без малейшего изъяна или его стоимость в деньгах жертвы, и это будет его приношением Господу за повинность. Цена за барана должна быть назначена согласно установленной мере.

16 Этот человек должен заплатить за грех, который он совершил против святыни. Он обязан отдать то, что обещал, и добавить одну пятую к стоимости обещанного, а затем отдать эти деньги священнику. Так священник очистит человека от греха приношением барана как жертвы повинности, и Бог простит этого человека.

17 Если человек согрешит и сделает что-нибудь против заповедей Господа, чего не следовало делать, то не имеет значения, если он сделал это по неведению, он виновен и должен нести ответственность за свой грех.

18 Этот человек должен принести к священнику барана без всякого изъяна или его стоимость в деньгах, и этот баран будет жертвой повинности. Так священник очистит человека от греха, который он совершил по неведению, и Бог простит того человека.

12 Человек должен принести муку к священнику, и тот возьмёт горсть этой муки. Это будет жертва в память. Священник сожжёт муку на жертвеннике, и это будет жертвой всесожжения Господу, жертвой за грех.

13 And the priest3548 shall make an atonement3722 for him as touching5921 his sin2403 that he has sinned2398 in one259 of these,428 and it shall be forgiven5545 him: and the remnant shall be the priest's,3548 as a meat offering.4503

13 Так священник очистит этого человека от греха, и Бог простит его. То, что останется от хлебной жертвы, принадлежит священнику, как и хлебное приношение».

14 And the LORD3068 spoke1696 to Moses,4872 saying,559
