1 Then5119 shall the kingdom932 of heaven3772 be likened3666 to ten1176 virgins,3933 which3748 took2983 their lamps,2985 and went1831 forth1831 to meet529 the bridegroom.3566

2 And five4002 of them were wise,5429 and five4002 were foolish.3474

3 They that were foolish3474 took2983 their lamps,2985 and took2983 no3756 oil1637 with them:

4 But the wise5429 took2983 oil1637 in their vessels30 with their lamps.2985

5 While the bridegroom3566 tarried,5549 they all3956 slumbered3573 and slept.2518

6 And at midnight3319 3571 there was a cry2906 made,1096 Behold,2400 the bridegroom3566 comes;2064 go1831 you out to meet529 him.

7 Then5119 all3956 those1565 virgins3933 arose,1453 and trimmed2885 their lamps.2985

8 And the foolish3474 said2036 to the wise,5429 Give1325 us of your5216 oil;1637 for our lamps2985 are gone4570 out.

9 But the wise5429 answered,611 saying,3004 Not so;3779 lest3379 there be not enough714 for us and you: but go4198 you rather3123 to them that sell,4453 and buy59 for yourselves.1438

10 And while they went565 to buy,59 the bridegroom3566 came;2064 and they that were ready2092 went1525 in with him to the marriage:1062 and the door2374 was shut.2808

11 Afterward5305 came2064 also2532 the other3062 virgins,3933 saying,3004 Lord,2962 Lord,2962 open455 to us.

12 But he answered611 and said,2036 Truly281 I say3004 to you, I know1492 you not.

13 Watch1127 therefore,3767 for you know1492 neither3383 the day2250 nor3761 the hour5610 wherein1722 3739 the Son5207 of man444 comes.2064

14 For the kingdom932 of heaven3772 is as a man444 traveling589 into a far country,589 who called2564 his own2398 servants,1401 and delivered3860 to them his goods.5224

15 And to one3739 3303 he gave1325 five4002 talents,5007 to another3739 two,1417 and to another3739 one;1520 to every1538 man according2596 to his several2398 ability;1411 and straightway2112 took589 his journey.589

16 Then1161 he that had received2983 the five4002 talents5007 went4198 and traded2038 with the same,846 and made4160 them other243 five4002 talents.5007

17 And likewise5615 he that had received two,1417 he also2532 gained2770 other243 two.1417

18 But he that had received2983 one1520 went565 and dig3736 in the earth,1093 and hid613 his lord's2962 money.694

19 After3326 a long4183 time5550 the lord2962 of those1565 servants1401 comes,2064 and reckons4868 3056 with them.

20 And so2532 he that had received2983 five4002 talents5007 came4334 and brought4374 other243 five4002 talents,5007 saying,3004 Lord,2962 you delivered3860 to me five4002 talents:5007 behold,2396 I have gained2770 beside1909 them five4002 talents5007 more.243

21 His lord2962 said5346 to him, Well2095 done, you good18 and faithful4103 servant:1401 you have been2258 faithful4103 over1909 a few3641 things, I will make2525 you ruler2525 over1909 many4183 things: enter1525 you into1519 the joy5479 of your lord.2962

22 He also2532 that had received2983 two1417 talents5007 came4334 and said,2036 Lord,2962 you delivered3860 to me two1417 talents:5007 behold,2396 I have gained2770 two1417 other243 talents5007 beside1909 them.

23 His lord2962 said5346 to him, Well2095 done, good18 and faithful4103 servant;1401 you have been2258 faithful4103 over1909 a few3641 things, I will make2525 you ruler2525 over1909 many4183 things: enter1525 you into1519 the joy5479 of your lord.2962

24 Then1161 he which had received2983 the one1520 talent5007 came4334 and said,2036 Lord,2962 I knew1097 you that you are1488 an hard4642 man,444 reaping2325 where3699 you have not sown,4687 and gathering4863 where3606 you have not strewed:1287

25 And I was afraid,5399 and went565 and hid2928 your talent5007 in the earth:1093 see,2396 there you have2192 that is yours.4674

26 His lord2962 answered611 and said2036 to him, You wicked4190 and slothful3636 servant,1401 you knew1492 that I reap2325 where3699 I sowed4687 not, and gather4863 where3606 I have not strewed:1287

27 You ought1163 therefore3767 to have put906 my money694 to the exchangers,5133 and then at my coming2064 I should have received2865 my1699 own with usury.5110

28 Take142 therefore3767 the talent5007 from him, and give1325 it to him which has2192 ten1176 talents.5007

29 For to every3956 one that has2192 shall be given,1325 and he shall have abundance:4052 but from him that has2192 not shall be taken142 away142 even2532 that which he has.2192

30 And cast1544 you the unprofitable888 servant1401 into1519 outer1857 darkness:4655 there1563 shall be weeping2805 and gnashing1030 of teeth.3599

31 When3752 the Son5207 of man444 shall come2064 in his glory,1391 and all3956 the holy40 angels32 with him, then5119 shall he sit2523 on the throne2362 of his glory:1391

32 And before1715 him shall be gathered4863 all3956 nations:1484 and he shall separate873 them one240 from another,240 as a shepherd4166 divides873 his sheep4263 from the goats:2056

33 And he shall set2476 the sheep4263 on1537 his right1188 hand, but the goats2055 on1537 the left.2176

34 Then5119 shall the King935 say2046 to them on1537 his right1188 hand, Come,1205 you blessed2127 of my Father,3962 inherit2816 the kingdom932 prepared2090 for you from the foundation2602 of the world:2889

35 For I was an hungered,3983 and you gave1325 me meat:5315 I was thirsty,1372 and you gave4222 me drink:4222 I was a stranger,3581 and you took4863 me in:

36 Naked,1131 and you clothed4016 me: I was sick,770 and you visited1980 me: I was in prison,5438 and you came2064 to me.

37 Then5119 shall the righteous1342 answer611 him, saying,3004 Lord,2962 when4218 saw1492 we you an hungered,3983 and fed5142 you? or2228 thirsty,1372 and gave4222 you drink?4222

38 When4218 saw1492 we you a stranger,3581 and took4863 you in? or2228 naked,1131 and clothed4016 you?

39 Or2228 when4218 saw1492 we you sick,772 or2228 in prison,5438 and came2064 to you?

40 And the King935 shall answer611 and say2046 to them, Truly281 I say3004 to you, Inasmuch1909 3745 as you have done4160 it to one1520 of the least1646 of these5130 my brothers,80 you have done4160 it to me.

41 Then5119 shall he say2046 also2532 to them on1537 the left2176 hand, Depart4198 from me, you cursed,2672 into1519 everlasting166 fire,4442 prepared2090 for the devil1228 and his angels:32

42 For I was an hungered,3983 and you gave1325 me no3756 meat:5315 I was thirsty,1372 and you gave4222 me no3756 drink:4222

43 I was a stranger,3581 and you took4863 me not in: naked,1131 and you clothed4016 me not: sick,772 and in prison,5438 and you visited1980 me not.

44 Then5119 shall they also2532 answer611 him, saying,3004 Lord,2962 when4218 saw1492 we you an hungered,3983 or2228 thirsty,1372 or2228 a stranger,3581 or2228 naked,1131 or2228 sick,772 or2228 in prison,5438 and did not minister1247 to you?

45 Then5119 shall he answer611 them, saying,3004 Truly281 I say3004 to you, Inasmuch1909 3745 as you did4160 it not to one1520 of the least1646 of these,5130 you did4160 it not to me.

46 And these3778 shall go565 away565 into1519 everlasting166 punishment:2851 but the righteous1342 into1519 life2222 eternal.166
