3 und3548 geboten dem Volk5971 und1980 sprachen559: Wenn ihr sehen7200 werdet die Lade727 des, Bundes1285 des HErrn3068, eures Gottes430, und die Priester aus den Leviten3881 sie6680 tragen5375, so ziehet5265 aus von eurem Ort4725 und folget ihr nach310.

4 Yet389 there shall be a space7350 between996 you and it, about two thousand505 cubits520 by measure:4060 come7126 not near7126 to it, that you may know3045 the way1870 by which834 you must go:3212 for you have not passed5674 this way1870 heretofore.8543

4 Doch daß zwischen euch3212 und4060 ihr3045 Raum7350 sei bei zweitausend505 Ellen520. Ihr5674 sollt nicht zu ihr nahen, auf daß ihr wisset, auf welchem Wege1870 ihr gehen7126 sollet; denn ihr seid den Weg1870 vorhin nicht gegangen.

7 And the LORD3068 said559 to Joshua,3091 This2088 day3117 will I begin2490 to magnify1431 you in the sight5869 of all3605 Israel,3478 that they may know3045 that, as I was with Moses,4872 so I will be with you.

7 Und der HErr3068 sprach559 zu Josua3091: Heute3117 will ich anfahen, dich groß zu machen1431 vor5869 dem ganzen Israel3478, daß sie wissen3045, wie ich mit Mose4872 gewesen bin, also auch mit dir sei.

8 And you shall command6680 the priests3548 that bear5375 the ark727 of the covenant,1285 saying,559 When you are come935 to the brink7097 of the water4325 of Jordan,3383 you shall stand5975 still in Jordan.3383

8 Und du559 gebeut6680 den Priestern3548, die die Lade727 des Bundes1285 tragen5375, und sprich: Wenn ihr kommt935 vorn7097 ins Wasser4325 des Jordans3383, so stehet5975 stille.

9 And Joshua3091 said559 to the children1121 of Israel,3478 Come5066 here,5066 and hear8085 the words1697 of the LORD3068 your God.430

9 Und Josua3091 sprach559 zu8085 den Kindern1121 Israel3478: Herzu5066, und höret die Worte1697 des HErrn3068, eures Gottes430!

10 And Joshua3091 said,559 Hereby2063 you shall know3045 that the living2416 God410 is among7130 you, and that he will without fail drive3423 out from before6440 you the Canaanites,3669 and the Hittites,2850 and the Hivites,2340 and the Perizzites,6522 and the Girgashites,1622 and the Amorites,567 and the Jebusites.2983

10 Und3091 sprach559: Dabei sollt ihr merken3045, daß ein lebendiger2416 GOtt410 unter7130 euch ist, und3423 daß er vor6440 euch austreiben wird die Kanaaniter3669, Hethiter2850, Heviter2340, Pheresiter6522, Gergositer, Amoriter567 und3423 Jebusiter2983.

11 Siehe, die Lade727 des Bundes1285 des Herrschers113 über5674 alle Welt776 wird vor6440 euch hergehen in den Jordan3383.

12 Now6258 therefore take3947 you twelve8147 6240 men376 out of the tribes7626 of Israel,3478 out of every tribe7626 a man.376

12 So nehmet nun zwölf6240 Männer376 aus den Stämmen7626 Israels3478, aus jeglichem259 Stamm7626 einen376.

13 And it shall come1961 to pass, as soon as the soles3709 of the feet7272 of the priests3548 that bear5375 the ark727 of the LORD,3068 the LORD113 of all3605 the earth,776 shall rest5117 in the waters4325 of Jordan,3383 that the waters4325 of Jordan3383 shall be cut3772 off from the waters4325 that come3381 down3381 from above;4605 and they shall stand5975 on an heap.5067

13 Wenn dann die4325 Fußsohlen3709 der Priester3548, die3381 des HErrn3068 Lade727, des Herrschers113 über4605 alle Welt, tragen5375, in des Jordans3383 Wasser4325 sich7272 lassen5117, so wird sich das776 Wasser4325, das3772 von oben herabfleußt im Jordan3383, abreißen, daß es über einem259 Haufen5067 stehen5975 bleibe.

14 And it came1961 to pass,5674 when the people5971 removed5265 from their tents,168 to pass5674 over5674 Jordan,3383 and the priests3548 bearing5375 the ark727 of the covenant1285 before6440 the people;5971

14 Da nun das Volk5971 auszog aus seinen Hütten168, daß sie5265 über5674 den Jordan3383 gingen, und3548 die Priester die Lade727 des Bundes1285 vor6440 dem Volk5971 her trugen5375

15 And as they that bore5375 the ark727 were come935 to Jordan,3383 and the feet7272 of the priests3548 that bore5375 the ark727 were dipped2881 in the brim7097 of the water,4325 (for Jordan3383 overflows4390 all3605 his banks1415 all3605 the time3117 of harvest,7105)

15 und3548 an5375 den Jordan3383 kamen935 und4390 ihre Füße7272 vorn7097 ins Wasser4325 tunkten ( der Jordan3383 aber war voll an allen seinen Ufern1415, die ganze Zeit3117 der Ernte7105),

16 That the waters4325 which came3381 down3381 from above4605 stood5975 and rose6965 up on an heap5067 very3966 far7368 from the city5892 Adam,121 that is beside6654 Zaretan:6891 and those that came3381 down3381 toward5921 the sea3220 of the plain,6160 even the salt4417 sea,3220 failed,8552 and were cut3772 off: and the people5971 passed5674 over5674 right against5048 Jericho.3405

16 da stund das3772 Wasser4325; das von oben herniederkam, aufgerichtet6965 über4605 einem259 Haufen5067, sehr3966 ferne7368 von den Leuten der Stadt5892, die zur Seite6654 Zarthans6891 liegt; aber das Wasser3220, das zum Meer3220 hinunterlief, zum Salzmeer4417, das nahm3381 ab und5975 verfloß8552. Also ging3381 das Volk5971 hinüber5674 gegen Jericho3405.

17 And the priests3548 that bore5375 the ark727 of the covenant1285 of the LORD3068 stood5975 firm3559 on dry2724 ground in the middle8432 of Jordan,3383 and all3605 the Israelites3478 passed5674 over5674 on dry2724 ground, until5704 all3605 the people1471 were passed5674 clean8552 over5674 Jordan.3383

17 Und3548 die Priester, die die Lade727 des Bundes1285 des HErrn3068 trugen5375, stunden also im Trocknen mitten8432 im Jordan3383. Und ganz Israel3478 ging5674 trocken2724 durch5674, bis das ganze Volk1471 alles8552 über5674 den Jordan3383 kam.
