1 Wenn der HErr3068, dein GOtt430, die Völker1471 ausgerottet hat3772, welcher Land776 dir der HErr3068, dein GOtt430, geben5414 wird, daß du sie3427 einnehmest3423, und in ihren Städten5892 und Häusern1004 wohnest,

2 You shall separate914 three7969 cities5892 for you in the middle8432 of your land,776 which834 the LORD3068 your God430 gives5414 you to possess3423 it.

2 sollst du dir drei7969 Städte5892 aussondern914 im8432 Lande, das776 dir der HErr3068, dein GOtt430, geben5414 wird einzunehmen3423.

3 You shall prepare3559 you a way,1870 and divide the coasts1366 of your land,776 which834 the LORD3068 your God430 gives you to inherit,5157 into three8027 parts, that every3605 slayer7523 may flee5127 thither.8033

3 Und7523 sollst gelegene Orte wählen und die Grenze1366 deines Landes776, das dir1870 der HErr3068, dein GOtt430, austeilen5157 wird, in drei Kreise8027 scheiden, daß dahin fliehe5127, wer einen Totschlag getan hat3559.

4 And this2088 is the case1697 of the slayer,7523 which834 shall flee5127 thither,8033 that he may live:2425 Whoever834 kills5221 his neighbor7453 ignorantly,1097 1847 whom he hated8130 not in time8543 8032 past;8032

4 Und1847 das1697 soll die Sache sein, daß dahin fliehe5127, der einen Totschlag getan hat7523, daß er lebendig bleibe: Wenn jemand seinen7453 Nächsten schlägt5221, nicht vorsätzlich, und hat2425 vorhin keinen Haß8130 auf ihn8543 gehabt,

5 As when834 a man goes935 into the wood3293 with his neighbor7453 to hew2404 wood,6086 and his hand3027 fetches5080 a stroke with the ax1631 to cut3772 down the tree,6086 and the head1270 slips5394 from the helve,6086 and lights4672 on his neighbor,7453 that he die;4191 he shall flee5127 to one259 of those428 cities,5892 and live:2425

5 sondern als wenn jemand mit seinem Nächsten7453 in den Wald3293 ginge935, Holz6086 zu hauen2404, und6086 holete mit der Hand3027 die Axt1631 aus, das3772 Holz6086 abzuhauen, und das Eisen1270 führe vom5394 Stiel und träfe4672 seinen7453 Nächsten, daß er stürbe4191, der soll in dieser Städte5892 eine259 fliehen5127, daß er lebendig bleibe2425,

6 Lest6435 the avenger1350 of the blood1818 pursue7291 the slayer,7523 while3588 his heart3824 is hot,3179 and overtake5381 him, because3588 the way1870 is long,7235 and slay5221 him; whereas he was not worthy of death,4194 inasmuch3588 as he hated8130 him not in time8543 8032 past.8032

6 auf daß3588 nicht der Bluträcher dem Totschläger7523 nachjage7291, weil3588 sein Herz3824 erhitzt ist3179, und ergreife ihn5381, weil der Weg1870 so ferne ist7235, und schlage5221 ihm seine See LE5315, so doch kein Urteil4941 des Todes4194 an ihm ist8130, weil er keinen Haß vorhin zu ihm getragen hat1350.

8 And if518 the LORD3068 your God430 enlarge7337 your coast,1366 as he has sworn7650 to your fathers,1 and give5414 you all3605 the land776 which834 he promised1696 to give5414 to your fathers;1

8 Und so der HErr3068, dein GOtt430, deine Grenze1366 weitern wird7337, wie er deinen Vätern1 geschworen7650 hat1696, und gibt5414 dir alles Land776, das er geredet hat, deinen Vätern1 zu geben5414

9 If3588 you shall keep8104 all3605 these2063 commandments4687 to do6213 them, which834 I command6680 you this day,3117 to love157 the LORD3068 your God,430 and to walk3212 ever3605 3117 in his ways;1870 then shall you add3254 three cities5892 more5750 for you, beside5921 these three:7969

9 (so du anders alle diese Gebote4687 halten8104 wirst, daß du danach tust, die ich dir heute3117 gebiete6680, daß du den HErrn3068, deinen GOtt430, liebest und in seinen Wegen1870 wandelst3212 dein Leben lang3117), so sollst du noch3254 drei7969 Städte5892 tun6213 zu diesen dreien7969,

10 That innocent5355 blood1818 be not shed8210 in your land,776 which834 the LORD3068 your God430 gives5414 you for an inheritance,5159 and so blood1818 be on you.

10 auf7130 daß nicht unschuldig5355 Blut1818 in deinem Lande vergossen werde8210, das776 dir der HErr3068, dein GOtt430, gibt5414 zum Erbe5159, und kommen Blutschulden1818 auf dich.

11 But if3588 any man376 hate8130 his neighbor,7453 and lie693 in wait693 for him, and rise6965 up against5921 him, and smite5221 him mortally5315 that he die,4191 and flees5127 into413 one259 of these411 cities:5892

11 Wenn aber jemand4191 Haß8130 trägt wider seinen7453 Nächsten und376 lauert693 auf6965 ihn und macht sich über ihn und schlägt5221 ihm seine See LE5315 tot und fleucht in dieser411 Städte5892 eine259,

12 Then the elders2205 of his city5892 shall send7971 and fetch3947 him there,8033 and deliver5414 him into the hand3027 of the avenger1350 of blood,1818 that he may die.4191

12 so sollen die Ältesten2205 in seiner Stadt5892 hinschicken und ihn von dannen holen3947 lassen7971 und ihn in die Hände3027 des Bluträchers1350 geben5414, daß er sterbe4191.

13 Your eye5869 shall not pity2347 him, but you shall put1197 away1197 the guilt of innocent5355 blood1818 from Israel,3478 that it may go well2895 with you.

13 Deine Augen5869 sollen sein5355 nicht verschonen2347, und sollst das unschuldige Blut1818 aus Israel3478 tun1197, daß dir‘s wohlgehe.

14 You shall not remove5253 your neighbor's7453 landmark,1366 which834 they of old7223 time have set1379 in your inheritance,5159 which834 you shall inherit5157 in the land776 that the LORD3068 your God430 gives5414 you to possess3423 it.

14 Du sollst deines Nächsten7453 Grenze1366 nicht zurücktreiben5253, die die Vorigen7223 gesetzt1379 haben in deinem Erbteil5159, das776 du erbest5157 im Lande das dir der HErr3068, dein GOtt430, gegeben5414 hat einzunehmen3423.

15 One259 witness5707 shall not rise6965 up against a man376 for any3605 iniquity,5771 or for any3605 sin,2403 in any3605 sin2399 that he sins:2398 at5921 the mouth6310 of two8147 witnesses,5707 or at5921 the mouth6310 of three7969 witnesses,5707 shall the matter1697 be established.6965

15 Es soll6965 kein einzelner Zeuge5707 wider jemand376 auftreten6965 über irgend einer259 Missetat oder Sünde5771, es sei2398, welcherlei Sünde2403 es sei5707, die man tun kann, sondern in6310 dem Munde6310 zweier8147 oder dreier7969 Zeugen5707 soll die Sache1697 bestehen.

16 If3588 a false2555 witness5707 rise6965 up against any man376 to testify6030 against him that which is wrong;5627

16 Wenn ein376 freveler Zeuge5707 wider jemand auftritt6965, über ihn zu bezeugen6030 eine Übertretung5627,

17 Then both8147 the men,582 between whom834 1992 the controversy7379 is, shall stand5975 before6440 the LORD,3068 before6440 the priests3548 and the judges,8199 which834 shall be in those1992 days;3117
|
17 so sollen die beiden8147 Männer582, die eine Sache7379 miteinander haben, vor6440 dem HErrn3068, vor6440 den Priestern3548 und Richtern8199 stehen5975, die zur selben Zeit3117 sein werden;

18 And the judges8199 shall make diligent3190 inquisition:1875 and, behold,2009 if the witness5707 be a false8267 witness,5707 and has testified6030 falsely8267 against his brother;251

18 und die Richter8199 sollen wohl3190 forschen. Und wenn der falsche8267 Zeuge5707 hat1875 ein falsch8267 Zeugnis5707 wider seinen Bruder251 gegeben,

19 Then shall you do6213 to him, as he had thought2161 to have done6213 to his brother:251 so shall you put1197 the evil7451 away1197 from among7130 you.

19 so sollt ihr ihm tun6213, wie er gedachte2161 seinem Bruder251 zu tun6213, daß du den Bösen7451 von7130 dir wegtust1197,

20 And those which remain7604 shall hear,8085 and fear,3372 and shall from now on3254 commit6213 no3808 more5750 any1697 such evil7451 among7130 you.

20 auf daß die andern7604 hören, sich3372 fürchten und nicht3254 mehr solche böse7451 Stücke1697 vornehmen zu8085 tun6213 unter7130 dir.

21 And your eye5869 shall not pity;2347 but life5315 shall go for life,5315 eye5869 for eye,5869 tooth8127 for tooth,8127 hand3027 for hand,3027 foot7272 for foot.7272
