2 So spricht559 der HErr3068 Zebaoth, der GOtt430 Israels3478, von dir, Baruch1263:

3 Du559 sprichst: Wehe188 mir! Wie hat mir der HErr3068 Jammer über3254 meinen Schmerzen3015 zugefüget; ich seufze585 mich müde3021 und finde4672 keine Ruhe4496.

4 Sage559 ihm also: So spricht559 der HErr3068: Siehe, was ich gebauet habe5193, das776 breche ich ab2040, und1129 was ich gepflanzet habe5428, das reute ich aus samt diesem ganzen meinem eigenen Lande.

5 Und du1245 begehrest dir große1419 Dinge. Begehre es nicht7451! Denn siehe, ich will935 Unglück kommen lassen über alles Fleisch1320, spricht5002 der HErr3068; aber deine See LE5315 will ich dir zur Beute7998 geben5414, an welchen Ort4725 du1245 ziehest.

1 THE word that Jeremiah the prophet spoke to Baruch the son of Neriah; when he wrote these words on a scroll as Jeremiah dictated, in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, saying,

2 Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, concerning you, O Baruch:

3 You said. Woe is me! for the LORD has added grief to my sorrow; I am weary in my sighing and I find no rest.

4 Thus shall you say to him: Thus says the LORD: Behold that which you have built I will break down, and that which you have planted I will pluck up. I am laying waste the whole land.

5 And as for you who once sought great things for yourself, seek nothing that is of great value: for, behold, I will bring evil upon all flesh, says the LORD, but I will let you save your life in all countries where you go.
