1 Und die ganze Gemeine der Kinder1121 Israel3478 zog5265 aus der Wüste4057 Sin5512, ihre Tagereisen4550, wie ihnen5971 der HErr3068 befahl6310, und lagerten sich2583 in Raphidim7508. Da hatte das Volk5712 kein Wasser4325 zu trinken8354.

1 And all3605 the congregation5712 of the children1121 of Israel3478 journeyed5265 from the wilderness4480 4057 of Sin,5512 after their journeys,4550 according to5921 the commandment6310 of the LORD,3068 and pitched2583 in Rephidim:7508 and there was no369 water4325 for the people5971 to drink.8354

2 Und5414 sie5971 zankten7378 mit Mose4872 und sprachen559: Gebet uns Wasser4325, daß wir trinken8354! Mose4872 sprach559 zu ihnen: Was zanket ihr7378 mit mir? Warum versuchet ihr5254 den HErrn3068?

2 Wherefore the people5971 did chide7378 with5973 Moses,4872 and said,559 Give5414 us water4325 that we may drink.8354 And Moses4872 said559 unto them, Why4100 chide7378 ye with5978 me? wherefore4100 do ye tempt5254 853 the LORD?3068

3 Da aber3885 das Volk5971 daselbst dürstete6772 nach Wasser4325, murreten sie5971 wider Mose4872 und sprachen559: Warum hast du uns lassen5927 aus Ägypten4714 ziehen, daß du uns, unsere Kinder1121 und Vieh4735 Durst6770 sterben4191 ließest?

3 And the people5971 thirsted6770 there8033 for water;4325 and the people5971 murmured3885 against5921 Moses,4872 and said,559 Wherefore4100 is this2088 that thou hast brought us up5927 out of Egypt,4480 4714 to kill4191 us and our children1121 and our cattle4735 with thirst?6772

4 Mose4872 schrie6817 zum HErrn3068 und sprach559: Wie soll ich mit dem Volk5971 tun6213? Es fehlet nicht weit, sie werden mich noch steinigen5619.

4 And Moses4872 cried6817 unto413 the LORD,3068 saying,559 What4100 shall I do6213 unto this2088 people?5971 they be almost4592 ready5750 to stone5619 me.

5 Der HErr3068 sprach559 zu ihm: Gehe5674 vorhin vor6440 dem Volk5971 und4872 nimm3947 etliche Älteste2205 von Israel3478 mit dir; und nimm3947 deinen Stab4294 in deine Hand3027, damit du5221 das Wasser2975 schlugest, und gehe1980 hin.

5 And the LORD3068 said559 unto413 Moses,4872 Go on5674 before6440 the people,5971 and take3947 with854 thee of the elders4480 2205 of Israel;3478 and thy rod,4294 wherewith834 thou smotest5221 853 the river,2975 take3947 in thine hand,3027 and go.1980

6 Siehe, ich will daselbst stehen5975 vor5869 dir auf6440 einem Fels6697 in Horeb2722; da sollst du8354 den Felsen6697 schlagen5221, so wird Wasser4325 heraus laufen, daß das Volk5971 trinke. Mose4872 tat6213 also vor den Ältesten2205 von3318 Israel3478.

6 Behold,2009 I will stand5975 before6440 thee there8033 upon5921 the rock6697 in Horeb;2722 and thou shalt smite5221 the rock,6697 and there shall come3318 water4325 out of4480 it, that the people5971 may drink.8354 And Moses4872 did6213 so3651 in the sight5869 of the elders2205 of Israel.3478

7 Da hieß7121 man den8034 Ort4725 Massa4532 und Meriba4809 um des Zanks7379 willen der Kinder1121 Israel3478, und daß sie den HErrn3068 versucht5254 und gesagt559 hatten: Ist3426 der HErr3068 unter7130 uns oder nicht?

7 And he called7121 the name8034 of the place4725 Massah,4532 and Meribah,4809 because of5921 the chiding7379 of the children1121 of Israel,3478 and because5921 they tempted5254 853 the LORD,3068 saying,559 Is3426 the LORD3068 among7130 us, or518 not?369

8 Da kam935 Amalek6002 und stritt3898 wider Israel3478 in Raphidim7508.
|
8 Then came935 Amalek,6002 and fought3898 with5973 Israel3478 in Rephidim.7508

9 Und Mose4872 sprach559 zu Josua3091: Erwähle977 uns Männer582, zeuch aus3318 und streite3898 wider Amalek6002; morgen4279 will ich auf des Hügels1389 Spitze7218 stehen5324 und den Stab4294 Gottes430, in meiner Hand3027 haben.

9 And Moses4872 said559 unto413 Joshua,3091 Choose us out977 men,376 and go out,3318 fight3898 with Amalek:6002 tomorrow4279 I595 will stand5324 on5921 the top7218 of the hill1389 with the rod4294 of God430 in mine hand.3027

10 Und Josua3091 tat6213, wie Mose4872 ihm sagte559, daß er wider Amalek6002 stritte3898. Mose4872 aber und Aaron175 und Hur2354 gingen auf5927 die Spitze7218 des Hügels1389.

10 So Joshua3091 did6213 as834 Moses4872 had said559 to him, and fought3898 with Amalek:6002 and Moses,4872 Aaron,175 and Hur2354 went up5927 to the top7218 of the hill.1389

11 Und dieweil Mose4872 seine Hände3027 emporhielt7311, siegte1396 Israel3478; wenn er aber seine Hände3027 niederließ5117, siegte1396 Amalek6002.

11 And it came to pass,1961 when834 Moses4872 held up7311 his hand,3027 that Israel3478 prevailed:1396 and when834 he let down5117 his hand,3027 Amalek6002 prevailed.1396

12 Aber die Hände3027 Moses4872 waren935 schwer3515; darum nahmen3947 sie einen259 Stein68 und legten ihn unter ihn, daß er sich3427 darauf setzte7760. Aaron175 aber und Hur2354 unter hielten ihm seine Hände3027, auf jeglicher Seite einer259. Also blieben seine Hände3027 steif, bis die Sonne8121 unterging.

12 But Moses'4872 hands3027 were heavy;3515 and they took3947 a stone,68 and put7760 it under8478 him, and he sat3427 thereon;5921 and Aaron175 and Hur2354 stayed up8551 his hands,3027 the one259 on the one side,4480 2088 and the other259 on the other side;4480 2088 and his hands3027 were1961 steady530 until5704 the going down935 of the sun.8121

13 Und Josua3091 dämpfte2522 den Amalek6002 und sein Volk5971 durch des Schwerts2719 Schärfe6310.

13 And Joshua3091 discomfited2522 853 Amalek6002 and his people5971 with the edge6310 of the sword.2719

14 Und7760 der HErr3068 sprach559 zu Mose4872: Schreibe3789 das zum Gedächtnis2146 in ein Buch5612 und befiehl es in die Ohren241 Josuas3091; denn ich will den Amalek6002 unter dem Himmel8064 austilgen4229, daß man sein nicht mehr gedenke2143.

14 And the LORD3068 said559 unto413 Moses,4872 Write3789 this2063 for a memorial2146 in a book,5612 and rehearse7760 it in the ears241 of Joshua:3091 for3588 I will utterly put out4229 4229 853 the remembrance2143 of Amalek6002 from under4480 8478 heaven.8064

15 Und1129 Mose4872 bauete einen Altar4196 und hieß7121 ihn8034: Der HErr Nissi.

15 And Moses4872 built1129 an altar,4196 and called7121 the name8034 of it Jehovah-nissi: 3071
|

16 Denn er sprach559: Es ist ein Malzeichen bei1755 dem Stuhl3676 des HErrn3068, daß der HErr3050 streiten4421 wird wider Amalek6002 von Kind1755 zu Kindeskind.

16 For he said,559 Because3588 the LORD3050 hath sworn3027 5921 3676 that the LORD3068 will have war4421 with Amalek6002 from generation4480 1755 to generation.1755
