1 Da aber das776 Volk5971 sah7200, daß Mose4872 verzog, von dem Berge2022 zu6213 kommen3381, sammelte6950 sich‘s3212 wider Aaron175 und sprach559 zu ihm: Auf6965, und mach uns Götter430, die vor6440 uns hergehen! Denn wir wissen3045 nicht954, was diesem Mann376 Mose4872 widerfahren ist, der uns aus Ägyptenland4714 geführet hat5927.

1 And when the people5971 saw7200 that Moses4872 delayed954 to come3381 down3381 out of the mount,2022 the people5971 gathered6950 themselves together to Aaron,175 and said559 to him, Up, make6213 us gods,430 which834 shall go3212 before6440 us; for as for this2088 Moses,4872 the man376 that brought5927 us up out of the land776 of Egypt,4714 we know3045 not what4100 is become1961 of him.

2 Aaron175 sprach559 zu ihnen: Reißet ab6561 die güldenen Ohrenringe5141 an den Ohren241 eurer Weiber802, eurer Söhne1121 und eurer Töchter1323 und bringet935 sie zu mir.

2 And Aaron175 said559 to them, Break6561 off the golden2091 earrings,5141 which834 are in the ears241 of your wives,802 of your sons,1121 and of your daughters,1323 and bring935 them to me.

3 Da riß6561 alles Volk5971 seine güldenen Ohrenringe5141 von ihren Ohren241 und brachten935 sie zu Aaron175.
|
3 And all3605 the people5971 broke6561 off the golden2091 earrings5141 which834 were in their ears,241 and brought935 them to Aaron.175
|
|
4 Und er nahm3947 sie6696 von ihren Händen3027 und entwarf es mit einem Griffel2747 und machte6213 ein gegossen Kalb5695. Und sie sprachen559: Das776 sind5927 deine Götter430, Israel3478, die dich aus Ägyptenland4714 geführet haben!

4 And he received3947 them at their hand,3027 and fashioned3335 it with a engraving2747 tool, after he had made6213 it a molten4541 calf:5695 and they said,559 These428 be your gods,430 O Israel,3478 which834 brought5927 you up out of the land776 of Egypt.4714

5 Da das Aaron175 sah7200, bauete er1129 einen Altar4196 vor6440 ihm und175 ließ ausrufen7121 und sprach559: Morgen4279 ist des HErrn3068 Fest2282!
|
5 And when Aaron175 saw7200 it, he built1129 an altar4196 before6440 it; and Aaron175 made proclamation,7121 and said,559 To morrow4279 is a feast2282 to the LORD.3068
|
|
6 Und stunden des Morgens4283 frühe auf5927 und opferten Brandopfer5930 und brachten5066 dazu Dankopfer8002. Danach setzte sich7925 das Volk5971 zu essen398 und zu trinken8354, und stunden auf6965 zu spielen6711.
|
6 And they rose7925 up early7925 on the morrow,4283 and offered5927 burnt5930 offerings, and brought5066 peace8002 offerings; and the people5971 sat3427 down to eat398 and to drink,8354 and rose6965 up to play.6711

7 Der HErr3068 aber sprach zu Mose4872: Gehe3212, steig hinab3381; denn dein Volk5971, das776 du aus Ägyptenland4714 geführet hast5927, hat‘s1696 verderbet7843.
|
7 And the LORD3068 said1696 to Moses,4872 Go,3212 get3381 you down;3381 for your people,5971 which834 you brought5927 out of the land776 of Egypt,4714 have corrupted7843 themselves:

8 Sie6680 sind5927 schnell4118 von dem Wege1870 getreten, den ich ihnen geboten habe6213. Sie haben7812 ihnen ein5493 gegossen Kalb5695 gemacht und haben‘s angebetet und ihm geopfert2076 und gesagt559: Das776 sind deine Götter430, Israel3478, die dich aus Ägyptenland4714 geführet haben.

8 They have turned5493 aside quickly4118 out of the way1870 which834 I commanded6680 them: they have made6213 them a molten4541 calf,5695 and have worshipped7812 it, and have sacrificed2076 thereunto, and said,559 These428 be your gods,430 O Israel,3478 which834 have brought5927 you up out of the land776 of Egypt.4714

9 Und den HErr3068 sprach559 zu Mose4872: Ich sehe7200, daß es5971 ein halsstarrig6203 Volk5971 ist.
|
9 And the LORD3068 said559 to Moses,4872 I have seen7200 this2088 people,5971 and, behold,2009 it is a stiff necked7186 6203 people:5971
|
|
10 Und nun laß3240 mich, daß mein Zorn639 über sie ergrimme2734 und sie auffresse, so will ich dich zum großen1419 Volk1471 machen6213.
|
10 Now6258 therefore let me alone, that my wrath639 may wax hot2734 against them, and that I may consume3615 them: and I will make6213 of you a great1419 nation.1471
|

11 Mose4872 aber flehete von6440 dem HErrn3068, seinem GOtt430, und sprach559: Ach, HErr3068, war um will dein Zorn639 ergrimmen2734 über dein Volk5971, das776 du mit großer1419 Kraft3581 und starker2389 Hand3027 hast aus3318 Ägyptenland4714 geführet?

11 And Moses4872 sought2470 the LORD3068 his God,430 and said,559 LORD,3068 why4100 does your wrath639 wax hot2734 against your people,5971 which834 you have brought3318 forth3318 out of the land776 of Egypt4714 with great1419 power,3581 and with a mighty2389 hand?3027
|

12 Warum sollen die Ägypter4714 sagen559 und sprechen: Er hat2026 sie559 zu ihrem Unglück7451 ausgeführt, daß er sie erwürgete im Gebirge2022 und vertilgete sie von3318 dem Erdboden127? Kehre dich7725 von6440 dem Grimm2740 deines Zorns639 und sei gnädig5162 über die Bosheit7451 deines Volks5971!

12 Why4100 should the Egyptians4714 speak,559 and say,559 For mischief7451 did he bring3318 them out, to slay2026 them in the mountains,2022 and to consume3615 them from the face6440 of the earth?127 Turn7725 from your fierce2740 wrath,639 and repent5162 of this evil7451 against your people.5971

13 Gedenk an2142 deine Diener, Abraham85, Isaak3327 und5650 Israel3478, denen du559 bei dir selbst geschworen7650 und ihnen verheißen hast: Ich will euren Samen2233 mehren7235 wie die Sterne3556 am Himmel8064, und alles Land776, das ich verheißen habe1696, will ich eurem Samen2233 geben5414, und sollen es besitzen5157 ewiglich5769.

13 Remember2142 Abraham,85 Isaac,3327 and Israel,3478 your servants,5650 to whom834 you swore7650 by your own self, and said1696 to them, I will multiply7235 your seed2233 as the stars3556 of heaven,8064 and all3605 this2063 land776 that I have spoken559 of will I give5414 to your seed,2233 and they shall inherit5157 it for ever.5769

14 Also gereuete den HErrn3068 das Übel7451, das er dräuete seinem Volk5971 zu tun6213.
|
14 And the LORD3068 repented5162 of the evil7451 which834 he thought1696 to do6213 to his people.5971
|
|
15 Mose4872 wandte sich6437 und stieg3381 vom Berge2022 und hatte zwo Tafeln3871 des Zeugnisses5715 in seiner Hand3027, die waren geschrieben3789 auf beiden Seiten5676.
|
15 And Moses turned,6437 and went3381 down3381 from the mount,2022 and the two8147 tables3871 of the testimony5715 were in his hand:3027 the tables3871 were written3789 on both8147 their sides;5676 on the one side and on the other2088 were they written.3789
|
|
16 Und430 GOtt430 hatte sie3871 selbst gemacht4639 und selbst die Schrift4385 drein gegraben.
|
16 And the tables3871 were the work4639 of God,430 and the writing4385 was the writing4385 of God,430 graven2801 on the tables.3871
|
|
17 Da nun Josua3091 hörete des Volks5971 Geschrei6963, daß sie jauchzeten, sprach559 er zu8085 Mose4872: Es ist ein Geschrei6963 im Lagen wie im Streit4421.
|
17 And when Joshua3091 heard8085 the noise6963 of the people5971 as they shouted,7452 he said559 to Moses,4872 There is a noise6963 of war4421 in the camp.4264
|
|
18 Er antwortete559: Es ist nicht ein Geschrei6963 gegeneinander, deren, die obliegen1369 und6963 unterliegen2476, sondern ich höre8085 ein Geschrei6963 eines Singetanzes6031.
|
18 And he said,559 It is not the voice6963 of them that shout6030 for mastery,1369 neither369 is it the voice6963 of them that cry6030 for being overcome:2476 but the noise6963 of them that sing6031 do I hear.8085
|
|
19 Als er aber2734 nahe7126 zum Lager4264 kam und4872 das Kalb5695 und den Reigen4246 sah7200, ergrimmete er mit Zorn639 und warf7993 die Tafeln3871 aus seiner Hand3027 und zerbrach7665 sie unten8478 am Berge2022.
|
19 And it came1961 to pass, as soon834 as he came7126 near7126 to the camp,4264 that he saw7200 the calf,5695 and the dancing:4246 and Moses'4872 anger639 waxed hot,2734 and he cast7993 the tables3871 out of his hands,3027 and broke7665 them beneath8478 the mount.2022

20 Und8313 nahm3947 das Kalb5695, das sie6440 gemacht hatten6213, und verbrannte es mit Feuer784 und zermalmete es zu Pulver1854 und stäubte2219 es aufs Wasser4325 und gab‘s den Kindern1121 Israel3478 zu trinken8248.
|
20 And he took3947 the calf5695 which834 they had made,6213 and burnt8313 it in the fire,784 and ground2912 it to powder,1854 and strewed2219 it on the water,4325 and made the children1121 of Israel3478 drink8248 of it.

21 Und4872 sprach559 zu Aaron175: Was hat dir das Volk5971 getan6213, daß du eine so große1419 Sünde2401 üben sie gebracht935 hast?
|
21 And Moses4872 said559 to Aaron,175 What4100 did6213 this2088 people5971 to you, that you have brought935 so great1419 a sin2401 on them?
|
|
22 Aaron175 sprach559: Mein Herr113 lasse seinen Zorn639 nicht ergrimmen2734. Du weißt3045, daß dies Volk5971 böse7451 ist.
|
22 And Aaron175 said,559 Let not the anger639 of my lord113 wax hot:2734 you know3045 the people,5971 that they are set on mischief.7451
|
|
23 Sie sprachen559 zu mir6440: Mache6213 uns Götter430, die vor uns hergehen; denn wir wissen3045 nicht3212, wie es diesem Mann376 Mose4872 gehet, der uns aus Ägyptenland776 geführet hat5927.
|
23 For they said559 to me, Make6213 us gods,430 which834 shall go3212 before6440 us: for as for this2088 Moses,4872 the man376 that brought5927 us up out of the land776 of Egypt,4714 we know3045 not what4100 is become1961 of him.
|
|
24 Ich sprach559 zu ihnen: Wer hat Gold2091, der reiße es ab6561 und gebe5414 es mir. Und ich warf7993 es ins Feuer784; daraus3318 ist das Kalb5695 geworden.
|
24 And I said559 to them, Whoever4310 has any gold,2091 let them break6561 it off. So they gave5414 it me: then I cast7993 it into the fire,784 and there came3318 out this calf.5695
|
|
25 Da nun Mose4872 sah7200, daß das Volk5971 los worden war6544 (denn Aaron175 hatte sie6965 losgemacht durch ein Geschwätz8103, damit er sie fein wollte anrichten),
|
25 And when Moses4872 saw7200 that the people5971 were naked;6544 (for Aaron175 had made them naked6544 to their shame8103 among their enemies:6965)
|
|
26 trat5975 er in das Tor8179 des Lagers4264 und4872 sprach559: Her zu mir, wer dem HErrn3068 angehöret! Da sammelten622 sich zu ihm alle Kinder1121 Levi3878.
|
26 Then Moses4872 stood5975 in the gate8179 of the camp,4264 and said,559 Who4310 is on the LORD's3068 side? let him come to me. And all3605 the sons1121 of Levi3878 gathered622 themselves together to him.
|
|
27 Und er7760 sprach559 zu ihnen: So spricht559 der HErr3068, der GOtt430 Israels3478: Gürte ein376 jeglicher sein Schwert2719 auf seine Lenden3409 und durchgehet hin5674 und wieder7725 von einem Tor8179 zum8179 andern im Lagen und erwürge2026 ein jeglicher seinen Bruder251, Freund7453 und Nächsten7138.

27 And he said559 to them, Thus3541 said559 the LORD3068 God430 of Israel,3478 Put7760 every man376 his sword2719 by his side,3409 and go5674 in and out from gate8179 to gate8179 throughout the camp,4264 and slay2026 every man376 his brother,251 and every man376 his companion,7453 and every man376 his neighbor.7138

28 Die Kinder1121 Levi3878 taten, wie ihnen1697 Mose4872 gesagt hatte6213, und fiel5307 des Tages3117 vom Volk5971 dreitausend7969 Mann376.
|
28 And the children1121 of Levi3878 did6213 according to the word1697 of Moses:4872 and there fell5307 of the people5971 that day3117 about three7969 thousand505 men.376
|
|
29 Da sprach559 Mose4872: Füllet4390 heute3117 eure Hände3027 dem HErrn3068, ein376 jeglicher an seinem Sohn1121 und Bruder251, daß3588 heute3117 über euch der Segen1293 gegeben5414 werde.
|
29 For Moses4872 had said,559 Consecrate4390 3027 yourselves3027 today3117 to the LORD,3068 even3588 every man376 on his son,1121 and on his brother;251 that he may bestow5414 on you a blessing1293 this day.3117
|
|
30 Des Morgens4283 sprach559 Mose4872 zum Volk5971: Ihr habt eine große1419 Sünde2401 getan2398; nun will ich hinaufsteigen5927 zu dem HErrn3068, ob194 ich vielleicht eure Sünde2403 versöhnen3722 möge.
|
30 And it came1961 to pass on the morrow,4283 that Moses4872 said559 to the people,5971 You have sinned2398 a great1419 sin:2401 and now6258 I will go5927 up to the LORD;3068 peradventure194 I shall make an atonement3722 for your sin.2403
|
|
31 Als nun6213 Mose4872 wieder7725 zum HErrn3068 kam, sprach559 er: Ach577, das Volk5971 hat eine große1419 Sünde2401 getan2398 und haben ihnen güldene Götter430 gemacht.
|
31 And Moses4872 returned7725 to the LORD,3068 and said,559 Oh,577 this2088 people5971 have sinned2398 a great1419 sin,2401 and have made6213 them gods430 of gold.2091
|
|
32 Nun vergib5375 ihnen ihre Sünde2403! Wo nicht, so tilge4229 mich auch aus deinem Buch5612, das du geschrieben hast3789.
|
32 Yet now,6258 if518 you will forgive5375 their sin;2403 and if518 not, blot4229 me, I pray4994 you, out of your book5612 which834 you have written.3789
|
|
33 Der HErr3068 sprach559 zu Mose4872: Was834? Ich will den aus meinem Buch5612 tilgen4229, der an mir sündiget.
|
33 And the LORD3068 said559 to Moses,4872 Whoever4310 834 has sinned2398 against me, him will I blot4229 out of my book.5612
|
|
34 So gehe3212 nun hin3212 und führe5148 das Volk5971, dahin ich dir gesagt1696 habe. Siehe, mein Engel4397 soll vor6440 dir hergehen. Ich werde ihre Sünde2403 wohl heimsuchen6485, wenn meine Zeit3117 kommt heimzusuchen.

34 Therefore now6258 go,3212 lead5148 the people5971 to the place of which834 I have spoken1696 to you: behold,2009 my Angel4397 shall go3212 before6440 you: nevertheless in the day3117 when I visit6485 I will visit6485 their sin2403 on them.
|
|
35 Also strafte5062 der HErr3068 das Volk5971, daß834 sie das Kalb5695 hatten6213 gemacht, welches Aaron175 gemacht hatte6213.
|
35 And the LORD3068 plagued5062 the people,5971 because5921 834 they made6213 the calf,5695 which834 Aaron175 made.6213
|
