2 Як про синів своїх, так пам'ятають про жерто́вники свої та своїх Аше́р при зеленому де́реві, на високих підгі́рках, |
|
3 про го́ру на полі. Багатство твоє й твої ска́рби на здо́бич віддам, пагірки жерто́вні твої — за гріх по всіляких границях твоїх. |
|
4 І опустиш ти руку свою спа́дку свого, що Я дав був тобі. І вчиню́, що ти бу́деш служити своїм ворогам у тім кра́ї, якого не знаєш, бо огонь запали́ли ви в гніві Моїм, й аж навіки пала́тиме він! |
|
5 Так говорить Господь: Прокля́тий той муж, що надію кладе́ на люди́ну, і робить раме́ном своїм слабу плоть, а від Господа серце його відступає! |
|
6 І він бу́де, як голий той кущ у степу́, і не побачить, щоб добре прийшло́, і він пробува́тиме в кра́ї сухому в пустині, у кра́ї солоному та незаме́шканому. |
|
7 Благослове́нний той муж, що поклада́ється на Господа, що Господь — то надія його! |
|
8 І він бу́де, як дерево те, над водою поса́джене, що над пото́ком пускає корі́ння своє, і не боїться, як при́йде спеко́та, — і його листя зелене, і в році посу́хи не буде жури́тись, і не перестане прино́сити пло́ду! |
|
9 Людське серце найлукавіше над все та невиго́йне, хто пізнає його? |
|
10 Я Господь, що досліджує серце, що випробо́вує ни́рки, щоб кожному дати згідно з пу́ттю його, за пло́дом учи́нків його́. |
|
11 Куропа́тва виси́джує я́йця, яких не прине́сла, — це той, хто багатство набув, та неправдою: він покине його в половині днів своїх, і стане безу́мним при своєму кінці́. |
|
12 Трон слави, висо́кий від віку, — це місце нашої святині! |
|
13 Надіє Ізраїлева, Господи, — посоро́млені будуть усі, хто Тебе залиша́є! Ті, що Мене покида́ють, на піску́ будуть списані, бо вони поки́нули Господа, джерело живої води. |
|
14 Уздоров мене, Господи, і буду вздоро́влений я, спаси Ти мене, і я буду спасе́ний, — бо Ти слава моя! |
|
15 Ось вони мені кажуть: „Де слово Господнє? Нехай воно при́йде!“ |
|
16 А я не відтягавсь бути па́стирем в Тебе, не жада́в злого дня, Ти це знаєш, — що вихо́дило з уст моїх, те перед лицем Твоїм явне було́. |
|
17 Не будь Ти для мене страхі́ттям, — на день зла Ти моє пристано́вище! |
|
18 Бодай посоро́мились ті, хто мене переслі́дує, а я щоб не був посоро́млений, нехай побенте́жені бу́дуть вони, а я хай не буду збенте́жений, день злого на них наведи́ та зламай їх подві́йним злама́нням! |
|
19 |
|
20 І скажеш до них: Послухайте слова Господнього, царі юдські й уся Юдеє, та всі ме́шканці Єрусалиму, що входите брамами тими. |
|
21 Так говорить Господь: Стережіться за ду́ші свої, і не носіть тягару́ за субо́тнього дня, і не носіть його бра́мами Єрусалиму. |
|
22 І не носіть тягару́ з домів ваших субо́тнього дня, і жо́дної праці робити не бу́дете, і день субо́тній освя́тите, як Я вашим батька́м наказав був! |
|
23 Та вони не послухали, й вуха свого не схили́ли, і вчинили себе тугоши́їми, щоб не слухатися та не брати навча́ння. |
|
24 I буде, якщо Мене справді ви бу́дете слу́хатись, — каже Господь, — щоб тягару́ не носити в брами міста цього́ за субо́тнього дня, і щоб освяти́ти день суботній, і щоб жодної праці в цей день не робити, — |
|
25 то ходи́тимуть бра́мами міста цього царі та князі́, що будуть сидіти на троні Давидовім, що їздити будуть колесни́цями й кі́ньми, вони й їхні прави́телі, юдеї та ме́шканці Єрусалиму, і це місто стоятиме вічно! |
|
26 І будуть прихо́дити з Ю́диних міст та з око́лиць Єрусалиму, і з кра́ю Веніяминового, і з рівни́ни, і з гір, і з пі́вдня, і цілопа́лення й жертви прино́сити бу́дуть, та жертву хлі́бну, і ла́дан, і будуть прино́сити жертву подяки до дому Господнього. |
|
27 А якщо ви Мене не послу́хаєтесь, щоб святити день субо́тній і щоб тягару́ не носити, і щоб бра́мами Єрусалиму субо́тнього дня не ходити, то огонь підпалю́ в їхніх брамах, і він поїсть єрусалимські пала́ти, — і не пога́сне! |

1 THE sin of Judah is written with a pen of iron and with the point of a diamond; it is engraved upon the tablets of their heart and upon the horns of their altars; |
|
2 And their idols are under every green tree and upon every high hill and upon the mountains and in the open country. |
|
3 I will give all your riches, all your treasures to the spoil, and that which is throughout your territory, because of your sins. |
|
4 And I will cause you to lose the inheritance which I have given you; and I will cause you to serve your enemies in the land which you do riot know; for you have kindled a fire in my anger, which shall burn for ever. |
|
5 Thus says the LORD, Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes the son of the flesh his arm, and whose heart departs from the LORD. |
|
6 For he shall be like a plant in the desert, and shall not see when good comes; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness in a salt land not inhabited. |
|
7 Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, and whose hope is in him. |
|
8 For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, that spreads out its roots by the stream, and it shall not be afraid when heat comes, but its leaves shall be green; and shall not be afraid in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit. |
|
9 The heart is stubborn above all things; who can understand it? |
|
10 I the LORD search the heart and try the reins, and give every man according to his ways and according to the fruits of his doings. |
|
11 Like the partridge that calls to the eggs which she has not hatched, so is he who gets riches and not by right; he shall leave them in the midst of his days, and at his end he shall be in disgrace. |
|
12 A glorious high throne from the beginning is the place of our sanctuary. |
|
13 The LORD is the hope of Israel; all who forsake thee shall be ashamed, and those who revolt against thee shall have their names written in the dust, because they have forsaken the LORD, the fountain of living waters. |
|
14 Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved; for thou art my praise. |
|
15 Behold, they say to me, Where is the word of the LORD? Let it come now. |
|
16 As for me, I have not urged thee to bring evil; nor have I desired any man's woeful day; thou knowest; that which came out of my lips was before thy face. |
|
17 Be not a terror to me; but abide with me in the day of trouble. |
|
18 Let them be put to shame who persecute me, but let me not be put to shame; let them be defeated, but let me not be defeated; bring upon them the day of evil, and defeat them with double defeat. |
|
19 Thus said the LORD to me: Go and stand at the public gate by which the kings of Judah enter and by which they go out, and in all the gates of Jerusalem; |
|
20 And say to them, Hear the word of the LORD, you kings of Judah and all the house of Judah and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem who enter by these gates. |
|
21 Thus says the LORD: Take heed to yourselves, and bear no burden on the sabbath day nor bring it in through the gates of Jerusalem; |
|
22 Neither carry a burden out of your houses on the sabbath day, nor do any work; but hallow the sabbath day as I commanded your fathers. |
|
23 But they did not obey, neither inclined their ear, but hardened their neck that they, might not heat nor receive instruction. |
|
24 And it shall come to pass if you diligently listen to me, says the LORD, to bring in no burden through the gates of this city on the sabbath day, but hallow the sabbath day and do no work on it; |
|
25 Then there shall enter through the gates of this city kings and princes who sit on the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses, they and their princes, the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and this city shall remain for ever. |
|
26 And the people shall come from the cities of Judah and from the places round about Jerusalem and from the land of Benjamin and from the plain and from the mountains and from the south, bringing burnt offerings and sacrifices and incense, and bringing thank offerings to the house of the LORD. |
|
27 But if you do not listen to me to hallow the sabbath day and do not refrain from carrying a burden through the gates of Jerusalem on the sabbath day, then I will kindle a fire in its gates, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem, and it shall not be quenched. |

7 Благослове́нний той муж, що поклада́ється на Господа, що Господь — то надія його! |
7 Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, and whose hope is in him. |
|
8 І він бу́де, як дерево те, над водою поса́джене, що над пото́ком пускає корі́ння своє, і не боїться, як при́йде спеко́та, — і його листя зелене, і в році посу́хи не буде жури́тись, і не перестане прино́сити пло́ду! |
8 For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, that spreads out its roots by the stream, and it shall not be afraid when heat comes, but its leaves shall be green; and shall not be afraid in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit. |

9 Людське серце найлукавіше над все та невиго́йне, хто пізнає його? |
9 The heart is stubborn above all things; who can understand it? |
|
10 Я Господь, що досліджує серце, що випробо́вує ни́рки, щоб кожному дати згідно з пу́ттю його, за пло́дом учи́нків його́. |

12 Трон слави, висо́кий від віку, — це місце нашої святині! |

14 Уздоров мене, Господи, і буду вздоро́влений я, спаси Ти мене, і я буду спасе́ний, — бо Ти слава моя! |

15 Ось вони мені кажуть: „Де слово Господнє? Нехай воно при́йде!“ |
15 Behold, they say to me, Where is the word of the LORD? Let it come now. |

16 А я не відтягавсь бути па́стирем в Тебе, не жада́в злого дня, Ти це знаєш, — що вихо́дило з уст моїх, те перед лицем Твоїм явне було́. |
16 As for me, I have not urged thee to bring evil; nor have I desired any man's woeful day; thou knowest; that which came out of my lips was before thy face. |
|
17 Не будь Ти для мене страхі́ттям, — на день зла Ти моє пристано́вище! |
17 Be not a terror to me; but abide with me in the day of trouble. |
|
18 Бодай посоро́мились ті, хто мене переслі́дує, а я щоб не був посоро́млений, нехай побенте́жені бу́дуть вони, а я хай не буду збенте́жений, день злого на них наведи́ та зламай їх подві́йним злама́нням! |
18 Let them be put to shame who persecute me, but let me not be put to shame; let them be defeated, but let me not be defeated; bring upon them the day of evil, and defeat them with double defeat. |
|
19 |
19 Thus said the LORD to me: Go and stand at the public gate by which the kings of Judah enter and by which they go out, and in all the gates of Jerusalem; |
|
20 І скажеш до них: Послухайте слова Господнього, царі юдські й уся Юдеє, та всі ме́шканці Єрусалиму, що входите брамами тими. |
20 And say to them, Hear the word of the LORD, you kings of Judah and all the house of Judah and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem who enter by these gates. |
|
21 Так говорить Господь: Стережіться за ду́ші свої, і не носіть тягару́ за субо́тнього дня, і не носіть його бра́мами Єрусалиму. |
21 Thus says the LORD: Take heed to yourselves, and bear no burden on the sabbath day nor bring it in through the gates of Jerusalem; |
|
22 І не носіть тягару́ з домів ваших субо́тнього дня, і жо́дної праці робити не бу́дете, і день субо́тній освя́тите, як Я вашим батька́м наказав був! |
22 Neither carry a burden out of your houses on the sabbath day, nor do any work; but hallow the sabbath day as I commanded your fathers. |
|
23 Та вони не послухали, й вуха свого не схили́ли, і вчинили себе тугоши́їми, щоб не слухатися та не брати навча́ння. |

25 то ходи́тимуть бра́мами міста цього царі та князі́, що будуть сидіти на троні Давидовім, що їздити будуть колесни́цями й кі́ньми, вони й їхні прави́телі, юдеї та ме́шканці Єрусалиму, і це місто стоятиме вічно! |
25 Then there shall enter through the gates of this city kings and princes who sit on the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses, they and their princes, the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and this city shall remain for ever. |

26 І будуть прихо́дити з Ю́диних міст та з око́лиць Єрусалиму, і з кра́ю Веніяминового, і з рівни́ни, і з гір, і з пі́вдня, і цілопа́лення й жертви прино́сити бу́дуть, та жертву хлі́бну, і ла́дан, і будуть прино́сити жертву подяки до дому Господнього. |
26 And the people shall come from the cities of Judah and from the places round about Jerusalem and from the land of Benjamin and from the plain and from the mountains and from the south, bringing burnt offerings and sacrifices and incense, and bringing thank offerings to the house of the LORD. |

27 А якщо ви Мене не послу́хаєтесь, щоб святити день субо́тній і щоб тягару́ не носити, і щоб бра́мами Єрусалиму субо́тнього дня не ходити, то огонь підпалю́ в їхніх брамах, і він поїсть єрусалимські пала́ти, — і не пога́сне! |
27 But if you do not listen to me to hallow the sabbath day and do not refrain from carrying a burden through the gates of Jerusalem on the sabbath day, then I will kindle a fire in its gates, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem, and it shall not be quenched. |
