1 І сказав Господь до Мойсея: „Скажи Ааронові: Простягни свою руку з палицею своєю на річки́, на потоки, і на ставки́, і повиво́дь жаб на єгипетський край“.

2 І простяг Аарон ру́ку свою на єгипетські во́ди, — і вийшла жабня́, та й покрила єгипетську землю.

3 Та так само зробили й єгипетські чарівники своїми чарами, — і ви́вели жаб на єгипетську зе́млю.

4 І покликав фараон Мойсея й Аарона, та й сказав: „Благайте Господа нехай виведе ці жаби від мене й від народу мого, а я відпущу́ наро́д той, — і нехай прино́сять жертви для Господа!“

5 І сказав Мойсей фараонові: „Накажи мені, коли маю молитися за тебе, і за слуг твоїх, і за народ твій, щоб понищити жаби від тебе й від домів твоїх, — тільки в річці вони позоста́нуться“.

6 А той відказав: „На завтра“. І сказав Мойсей: „3а словом твоїм! Щоб ти знав, що нема Такого, як Госпо́дь, Бог наш!

7 І віді́йдуть жаби від тебе, і від домів твоїх, і від рабів твоїх, і від народу твого, — тільки в річці вони позоста́нуться“.

8 І вийшов Мойсей та Аарон від фараона. І кли́кав Мойсей до Господа про ті жа́би, що навів був на фараона.

9 І зробив Господь за словом Мойсея, — і погинули жаби з домів, і з подвір'їв, і з піль.

10 І збирали їх ці́лими ку́пами, — і засмерді́лась земля!

11 І побачив фараон, що сталась полегша, і знову стало запеклим серце його, — і не послухався їх, як говорив був Господь.

12 І сказав Господь до Мойсея: „Скажи Ааронові: Простягни́ свою па́лицю, та й удар зе́мний порох, — і нехай він стане во́шами в усьому єгипетському кра́ї!“

13 І зробили вони так. І простяг Аарон руку свою з палицею своєю, та й ударив зе́мний порох, — і він стався во́шами на люди́ні й на скоти́ні. Увесь зе́мний порох стався во́шами в усьому єгипетському краї!

14 І так само робили чарівники своїми чарами, щоб навести воші, — та не змогли. І була вошва́ на люди́ні й на скоти́ні.

15 І сказали чарівники фараонові: „Це палець Божий!“ Та серце фараонове було запеклим, — і він не послухався їх, як говорив був Господь.

16 І сказав Господь до Мойсея: „Устань рано вранці, та й стань перед лицем фараоновим. Ось він пі́де до води, а ти скажи йому: Так сказав Господь: Відпусти Мій наро́д, і нехай вони служать Мені!

17 Бо коли ти не відпу́стиш народу Мого, то ось Я пошлю́ на тебе, і на слуг твоїх, і на наро́д твій, і на доми́ твої рої́ мух. І єгипетські доми будуть повні мушні́, а також земля, на якій вони живуть.

18 І відділю́ того дня землю Ґошен, що Мій народ живе на ній, щоб не було́ там роїв мух, щоб ти знав, що Я — Господь посеред землі!

19 І зроблю́ Я різницю між народом Моїм та народом твоїм. Узавтра буде це знаме́но!“

20 І зробив Господь так. І найшла численна мушня́ на дім фараона, і на дім рабів його, і на всю єгипетську землю. І нищилась земля через ті рої мух!

21 І кликнув фараон до Мойсея та до Аарона, говорячи: „Підіть, принесіть жертви вашому Богові в цьому кра́ї!“

22 А Мойсей відказав: „Не годи́ться чинити так, бо то огиду для Єгипту ми прино́сили б у жертву Господу, Богові нашому. Тож бу́демо прино́сити в жертву огиду для єги́птян на їхніх очах, і вони не вкамену́ють нас?

23 Триденною дорогою ми підемо на пустиню, і принесе́мо жертву Господе́ві, Богові нашому, як скаже Він нам“.

24 І сказав фарао́н: „Я відпущу́ вас, і ви принесете жертву Господе́ві, Богові вашому на пустині: Тільки дале́ко не віддаляйтесь, ідучи́. Моліться за мене!“

25 І сказав Мойсей: „Ось я вихо́джу від тебе, і буду благати Господа, — і відступить той рій мух від фараона, і від рабів його, і від народу його взавтра. Тільки нехай більше не обманює фараон, щоб не відпустити народу принести жертву Господеві“.

26 І вийшов Мойсей від фараона, і став просити Господа.

27 І зробив Господь за словом Мойсея, — і відвернув рої мух від фараона, від рабів його, і від народу його. І не зосталося ані однієї.

28 А фараон зробив запеклим своє серце також і цим разом, — і не відпустив він народу того!

2 And if518 thou859 refuse3986 to let them go,7971 behold,2009 I595 will smite5062 853 all3605 thy borders1366 with frogs: 6854

3 And the river2975 shall bring forth frogs abundantly,8317 6854 which shall go up5927 and come935 into thine house,1004 and into thy bedchamber,2315 4904 and upon5921 thy bed,4296 and into the house1004 of thy servants,5650 and upon thy people,5971 and into thine ovens,8574 and into thy kneading troughs: 4863

4 And the frogs6854 shall come up5927 both on thee, and upon thy people,5971 and upon all3605 thy servants.5650

5 And the LORD3068 spoke559 unto413 Moses,4872 Say559 unto413 Aaron,175 Stretch forth5186 853 thine hand3027 with thy rod4294 over5921 the streams,5104 over5921 the rivers,2975 and over5921 the ponds,98 and cause853 frogs6854 to come up5927 upon5921 the land776 of Egypt.4714

6 And Aaron175 stretched out5186 853 his hand3027 over5921 the waters4325 of Egypt;4714 and the frogs6854 came up,5927 and covered3680 853 the land776 of Egypt.4714

7 And the magicians2748 did6213 so3651 with their enchantments,3909 and brought up5927 853 frogs6854 upon5921 the land776 of Egypt.4714

8 Then Pharaoh6547 called7121 for Moses4872 and Aaron,175 and said,559 Entreat6279 413 the LORD,3068 that he may take away5493 the frogs6854 from4480 me, and from my people;4480 5971 and I will let853 the people5971 go,7971 that they may do sacrifice2076 unto the LORD.3068

9 And Moses4872 said559 unto Pharaoh,6547 Glory6286 over5921 me: when4970 shall I entreat6279 for thee, and for thy servants,5650 and for thy people,5971 to destroy3772 the frogs6854 from4480 thee and thy houses,4480 1004 that they may remain7604 in the river2975 only?7535

10 And he said,559 Tomorrow.4279 And he said,559 Be it according to thy word:1697 that4616 thou mayest know3045 that3588 there is none369 like unto the LORD3068 our God.430

11 And the frogs6854 shall depart5493 from4480 thee and from thy houses,4480 1004 and from thy servants,4480 5650 and from thy people;4480 5971 they shall remain7604 in the river2975 only.7535

12 And Moses4872 and Aaron175 went out3318 from4480 5973 Pharaoh:6547 and Moses4872 cried6817 unto413 the LORD3068 because of5921 1697 the frogs6854 which834 he had brought7760 against Pharaoh.6547

13 And the LORD3068 did6213 according to the word1697 of Moses;4872 and the frogs6854 died4191 out of4480 the houses,1004 out of4480 the villages,2691 and out of4480 the fields.7704

14 And they gathered them together6651 853 upon heaps:2563 2563 and the land776 stank.887

15 But when Pharaoh6547 saw7200 that3588 there was1961 respite,7309 he hardened3513 853 his heart,3820 and hearkened8085 not3808 unto413 them; as834 the LORD3068 had said.1696

16 And the LORD3068 said559 unto413 Moses,4872 Say559 unto413 Aaron,175 Stretch out5186 853 thy rod,4294 and smite5221 853 the dust6083 of the land,776 that it may become1961 lice3654 throughout all3605 the land776 of Egypt.4714

17 And they did6213 so;3651 for Aaron175 stretched out5186 853 his hand3027 with his rod,4294 and smote5221 853 the dust6083 of the earth,776 and it became1961 lice3654 in man,120 and in beast;929 all3605 the dust6083 of the land776 became1961 lice3654 throughout all3605 the land776 of Egypt.4714

18 And the magicians2748 did6213 so3651 with their enchantments3909 to bring forth3318 853 lice,3654 but they could3201 not:3808 so there were1961 lice3654 upon man,120 and upon beast.929

19 Then the magicians2748 said559 unto413 Pharaoh,6547 This1931 is the finger676 of God:430 and Pharaoh's6547 heart3820 was hardened,2388 and he hearkened8085 not3808 unto413 them; as834 the LORD3068 had said.1696

20 And the LORD3068 said559 unto413 Moses,4872 Rise up early7925 in the morning,1242 and stand3320 before6440 Pharaoh;6547 lo,2009 he cometh forth3318 to the water;4325 and say559 unto413 him, Thus3541 saith559 the LORD,3068 Let my people5971 go,7971 that they may serve5647 me.

21 Else,3588 if518 thou wilt not369 let853 my people5971 go,7971 behold,2009 I will send7971 853 swarms6157 of flies upon thee, and upon thy servants,5650 and upon thy people,5971 and into thy houses:1004 and the houses1004 of the Egyptians4714 shall be full4390 of853 swarms6157 of flies, and also1571 the ground127 whereon834 5921 they1992 are.

22 And I will sever6395 in that1931 day3117 853 the land776 of Goshen,1657 in5921 which834 my people5971 dwell,5975 that no1115 swarms6157 of flies shall be1961 there;8033 to the end4616 thou mayest know3045 that3588 I589 am the LORD3068 in the midst7130 of the earth.776

23 And I will put7760 a division6304 between996 my people5971 and thy people:5971 tomorrow4279 shall this2088 sign226 be.1961

24 And the LORD3068 did6213 so;3651 and there came935 a grievous3515 swarm6157 of flies into the house1004 of Pharaoh,6547 and into his servants'5650 houses,1004 and into all3605 the land776 of Egypt:4714 the land776 was corrupted7843 by reason of4480 6440 the swarm6157 of flies.

25 And Pharaoh6547 called7121 for413 Moses4872 and for Aaron,175 and said,559 Go1980 ye, sacrifice2076 to your God430 in the land.776

26 And Moses4872 said,559 It is not3808 meet3559 so3651 to do;6213 for3588 we shall sacrifice2076 the abomination8441 of the Egyptians4714 to the LORD3068 our God:430 lo,2005 shall we sacrifice2076 853 the abomination8441 of the Egyptians4714 before their eyes,5869 and will they not3808 stone5619 us?

27 We will go1980 three7969 days'3117 journey1870 into the wilderness,4057 and sacrifice2076 to the LORD3068 our God,430 as834 he shall command559 413 us.

28 And Pharaoh6547 said,559 I595 will let you go,7971 that ye may sacrifice2076 to the LORD3068 your God430 in the wilderness;4057 only7535 ye shall not3808 go1980 very far away:7368 7368 entreat6279 for1157 me.

11 І побачив фараон, що сталась полегша, і знову стало запеклим серце його, — і не послухався їх, як говорив був Господь.

12 And Moses4872 and Aaron175 went out3318 from4480 5973 Pharaoh:6547 and Moses4872 cried6817 unto413 the LORD3068 because of5921 1697 the frogs6854 which834 he had brought7760 against Pharaoh.6547

13 І зробили вони так. І простяг Аарон руку свою з палицею своєю, та й ударив зе́мний порох, — і він стався во́шами на люди́ні й на скоти́ні. Увесь зе́мний порох стався во́шами в усьому єгипетському краї!

13 And the LORD3068 did6213 according to the word1697 of Moses;4872 and the frogs6854 died4191 out of4480 the houses,1004 out of4480 the villages,2691 and out of4480 the fields.7704

14 І так само робили чарівники своїми чарами, щоб навести воші, — та не змогли. І була вошва́ на люди́ні й на скоти́ні.

17 Бо коли ти не відпу́стиш народу Мого, то ось Я пошлю́ на тебе, і на слуг твоїх, і на наро́д твій, і на доми́ твої рої́ мух. І єгипетські доми будуть повні мушні́, а також земля, на якій вони живуть.

17 And they did6213 so;3651 for Aaron175 stretched out5186 853 his hand3027 with his rod,4294 and smote5221 853 the dust6083 of the earth,776 and it became1961 lice3654 in man,120 and in beast;929 all3605 the dust6083 of the land776 became1961 lice3654 throughout all3605 the land776 of Egypt.4714

18 І відділю́ того дня землю Ґошен, що Мій народ живе на ній, щоб не було́ там роїв мух, щоб ти знав, що Я — Господь посеред землі!

18 And the magicians2748 did6213 so3651 with their enchantments3909 to bring forth3318 853 lice,3654 but they could3201 not:3808 so there were1961 lice3654 upon man,120 and upon beast.929

19 І зроблю́ Я різницю між народом Моїм та народом твоїм. Узавтра буде це знаме́но!“

20 І зробив Господь так. І найшла численна мушня́ на дім фараона, і на дім рабів його, і на всю єгипетську землю. І нищилась земля через ті рої мух!

21 І кликнув фараон до Мойсея та до Аарона, говорячи: „Підіть, принесіть жертви вашому Богові в цьому кра́ї!“

22 А Мойсей відказав: „Не годи́ться чинити так, бо то огиду для Єгипту ми прино́сили б у жертву Господу, Богові нашому. Тож бу́демо прино́сити в жертву огиду для єги́птян на їхніх очах, і вони не вкамену́ють нас?

22 And I will sever6395 in that1931 day3117 853 the land776 of Goshen,1657 in5921 which834 my people5971 dwell,5975 that no1115 swarms6157 of flies shall be1961 there;8033 to the end4616 thou mayest know3045 that3588 I589 am the LORD3068 in the midst7130 of the earth.776

23 Триденною дорогою ми підемо на пустиню, і принесе́мо жертву Господе́ві, Богові нашому, як скаже Він нам“.

23 And I will put7760 a division6304 between996 my people5971 and thy people:5971 tomorrow4279 shall this2088 sign226 be.1961

24 І сказав фарао́н: „Я відпущу́ вас, і ви принесете жертву Господе́ві, Богові вашому на пустині: Тільки дале́ко не віддаляйтесь, ідучи́. Моліться за мене!“

26 І вийшов Мойсей від фараона, і став просити Господа.
