1 І сказав Господь до Мойсея: „Говори до священиків, Ааро́нових синів, і скажеш їм: Ніхто з вас нехай не занечи́ститься через доторкнення до померлого серед свого наро́ду.

2 Бо тільки через доторкнення до близьки́х однокровних своїх, — через матір свою, і через батька свого, і через сина свого, і через дочку свою, і через брата свого,

3 і через сестру свою, ді́вчину близьку́ йому, що не була́ замужем, — через тих він може занечиститися доторкненням.

4 Бувши одру́жений, нехай не занечи́ститься серед рідні своєї, щоб не збезче́стити себе.

5 Не зроблять вони ли́сини на голові своїй, і кра́ю бороди своєї не підстрижуть, а на тілі своїм не наріжуть надрізів.

6 Святі вони будуть для Бога свого, і не збезчестять вони Ймення Бога свого, бо вони приносять огняні́ Божі жертви, хліб свого Бога. І будуть вони святі.

7 Жінки блудли́вої та збезчещеної вони не ві́зьмуть, і не візьмуть жінки, вигнаної від чоловіка свого, бо святий він для Бога свого.

8 І освятиш його, бо він приносить хліб Бога твого, — святий він буде для вас, бо святий Я, Господь, що освячує вас!

9 А священикова дочка́, коли зачне́ робити блуд, вона безчестить батька свого, — ув огні буде спа́лена.

10 А священик, найбільший від братів своїх, що на голову його буде виллята олива пома́зання, і буде посвячений на одяга́ння шат, він голови своєї не запустить і шат своїх не роздере,

11 і до жодного вмерлого не вві́йде, — навіть через батька свого та через матір свою не сміє занечи́ститься.

12 І він не віді́йде від святині, і не занечи́стить святині Бога свого, бо на ньому посвя́чення оливи пома́зання його Бога. Я — Господь!

13 І він ві́зьме жінку в дівоцтві її.

14 Удови́, і розве́деної, і збезчещеної, блудливої, — тих він не ві́зьме, а тільки діви́цю з-поміж рідні своєї він ві́зьме за жінку.

15 І не збезче́стить він насіння свого в рідні своїй, бо Я — Господь, що освячує його“.

16 I Господь промовляв до Мойсея, говорячи:

17 Промовляй до Ааро́на, говорячи: Чоловік із насіння твого на їх покоління, що буде в нім вада, не приступить, щоб прино́сити хліб свого Бога.

18 Бо жоден чоловік, що в нім вада, не приступить: чоловік сліпий, або кульга́вий, або кирпа́тий або довготеле́сий,

19 або чоловік, що матиме зламану ногу або зламану руку,

20 або горбатий, або ви́сохлий, або більмо́ на оці його, або коро́стявий, або парши́вий, або з розчавленими я́драми, —

21 кожен чоловік із насіння священика Ааро́на, що на нім ця вада, не приступить, щоб прино́сити Господні огняні жертви, — вада в нім, не приступить він, щоб прино́сити хліб свого Бога.

22 Він буде їсти хліб свого Бога з Найсвятішого та зо святощів.

23 Та до завіси не піді́йде він, і до жертівника не присту́пить, бо вада в нім, — і не збезче́стить святині Моєї, бо Я — Госпо́дь, що освячує їх“.

24 І Мойсей промовляв до Аарона й до синів його, та до всіх синів Ізра́їлевих.

Chapter 21

1 And the LORD3068 said559 to Moses,4872 Speak559 to the priests3548 the sons1121 of Aaron,175 and say559 to them, There shall none3808 be defiled2930 for the dead5315 among his people:5971

2 But for his kin,7607 that is near7138 to him, that is, for his mother,517 and for his father,1 and for his son,1121 and for his daughter,1323 and for his brother.251

3 And for his sister269 a virgin,1330 that is near7138 to him, which834 has had1961 no3808 husband;376 for her may he be defiled.2930

4 But he shall not defile2930 himself, being a chief1167 man1167 among his people,5971 to profane2490 himself.

5 They shall not make baldness7144 on their head,7218 neither3808 shall they shave1548 off the corner6285 of their beard,2206 nor3808 make any cuttings8296 in their flesh.1320

6 They shall be holy6918 to their God,430 and not profane2490 the name8034 of their God:430 for the offerings of the LORD3068 made by fire, and the bread3899 of their God,430 they do offer:7126 therefore they shall be holy.6944

7 They shall not take3947 a wife802 that is a whore,2181 or profane;2491 neither3808 shall they take3947 a woman802 put1644 away from her husband:376 for he is holy6918 to his God.430

8 You shall sanctify6942 him therefore; for he offers7126 the bread3899 of your God:430 he shall be holy6918 to you: for I the LORD,3068 which sanctify6942 you, am holy.6918

9 And the daughter1323 of any376 priest,3548 if3588 she profane2490 herself by playing the whore,2181 she profanes2490 her father:1 she shall be burnt8313 with fire.784

10 And he that is the high1419 priest3548 among his brothers,251 on whose834 head7218 the anointing4888 oil8081 was poured,3332 and that is consecrated3027 to put3847 on the garments,899 shall not uncover6544 his head,7218 nor3808 rend6533 his clothes;899

11 Neither3808 shall he go935 in to any3605 dead4191 body,5315 nor3808 defile2930 himself for his father,1 or for his mother;517

12 Neither3808 shall he go3318 out of the sanctuary,4720 nor3808 profane2490 the sanctuary4720 of his God;430 for the crown5145 of the anointing4888 oil8081 of his God430 is on him: I am the LORD.3068

13 And he shall take3947 a wife802 in her virginity.1331

14 A widow,490 or a divorced1644 woman, or profane,2491 or an harlot,2181 these428 shall he not take:3947 but he shall take3947 a virgin1330 of his own people5971 to wife.802

15 Neither3808 shall he profane2490 his seed2233 among his people:5971 for I the LORD3068 do sanctify6942 him.

16 And the LORD3068 spoke1696 to Moses,4872 saying,559

17 Speak1696 to Aaron,175 saying,559 Whoever376 834 he be of your seed2233 in their generations1755 that has1961 any blemish,3971 let him not approach7126 to offer7126 the bread3899 of his God.430

18 For whatever3605 man376 he be that has a blemish,3971 he shall not approach:7126 a blind5787 man,376 or176 a lame,6455 or176 he that has a flat2763 nose,2763 or176 any thing superfluous,8311

19 Or176 a man376 that is broken footed,7667 7272 or176 broken handed,7667

20 Or176 hunch back,1384 or176 a dwarf,1851 or176 that has a blemish8400 in his eye,5869 or be scurvy,1618 or176 scabbed,3217 or176 has his stones810 broken;4790

21 No man376 that has a blemish3971 of the seed2233 of Aaron175 the priest3548 shall come5066 near5066 to offer7126 the offerings of the LORD3068 made by fire: he has a blemish;3971 he shall not come5066 near5066 to offer7126 the bread3899 of his God.430

22 He shall eat398 the bread3899 of his God,430 both of the most6944 holy,6944 and of the holy.6944

23 Only389 he shall not go935 in to the veil,6532 nor3808 come5066 near5066 to the altar,4196 because3588 he has a blemish;3971 that he profane2490 not my sanctuaries:4720 for I the LORD3068 do sanctify6942 them.

24 And Moses4872 told1696 it to Aaron,175 and to his sons,1121 and to all3605 the children1121 of Israel.3478

7 Жінки блудли́вої та збезчещеної вони не ві́зьмуть, і не візьмуть жінки, вигнаної від чоловіка свого, бо святий він для Бога свого.

9 And the daughter1323 of any376 priest,3548 if3588 she profane2490 herself by playing the whore,2181 she profanes2490 her father:1 she shall be burnt8313 with fire.784

10 А священик, найбільший від братів своїх, що на голову його буде виллята олива пома́зання, і буде посвячений на одяга́ння шат, він голови своєї не запустить і шат своїх не роздере,

13 І він ві́зьме жінку в дівоцтві її.

13 And he shall take3947 a wife802 in her virginity.1331

14 Удови́, і розве́деної, і збезчещеної, блудливої, — тих він не ві́зьме, а тільки діви́цю з-поміж рідні своєї він ві́зьме за жінку.

14 A widow,490 or a divorced1644 woman, or profane,2491 or an harlot,2181 these428 shall he not take:3947 but he shall take3947 a virgin1330 of his own people5971 to wife.802

15 І не збезче́стить він насіння свого в рідні своїй, бо Я — Господь, що освячує його“.

15 Neither3808 shall he profane2490 his seed2233 among his people:5971 for I the LORD3068 do sanctify6942 him.

16 I Господь промовляв до Мойсея, говорячи:

16 And the LORD3068 spoke1696 to Moses,4872 saying,559

17 Промовляй до Ааро́на, говорячи: Чоловік із насіння твого на їх покоління, що буде в нім вада, не приступить, щоб прино́сити хліб свого Бога.

17 Speak1696 to Aaron,175 saying,559 Whoever376 834 he be of your seed2233 in their generations1755 that has1961 any blemish,3971 let him not approach7126 to offer7126 the bread3899 of his God.430

18 Бо жоден чоловік, що в нім вада, не приступить: чоловік сліпий, або кульга́вий, або кирпа́тий або довготеле́сий,

22 Він буде їсти хліб свого Бога з Найсвятішого та зо святощів.
