Глава 11

1 Господь сказал: «Когда Израиль был юн, Я любил его, и Я вызвал сына Моего из Египта.

2 Но чем больше Я взывал к Израилю, тем больше Израиль удалялся от Меня. Израильтяне приносили жертвы лжебогам и сжигали благовонные курения идолам.

3 Но ведь это Я научил Ефрема ходить! Я носил израильтян на руках и лечил их раны, но они не ведают этого!

4 Я вёл их узами любви и доброты; Я был подобен человеку, который дал им свободу, чтобы их накормить.

5 Израильтяне отказались вернуться к Богу, так пусть же они идут в Египет! Царь Ассирии станет их царём.

6 Меч падёт на их города и уничтожит их селения, потому что злые планы вынашивали они.

7 Мой народ ждёт, что Я вернусь к нему. Люди станут призывать Всевышнего, но Бог не поможет им».

8 «Ефрем, Я не хочу отказаться от тебя. Израиль, Я желаю защитить тебя, Я не хочу уничтожить тебя, как Я уничтожил Адму и Цевоим. Я изменил решение Своё, потому что Моя любовь к тебе слишком сильна.

9 Я не поддамся гневу Своему и не уничтожу вновь землю Ефрема. Я — Бог, а не человек. Я — Святой, и Я с тобой. Я не проявлю гнева Своего!

10 Я, Господь, буду рычать как лев, и дети Мои последуют за Мной. Они придут с запада, дрожа от страха.

11 Они придут из Египта, трепеща как птицы. Они придут из Ассирийской земли, трепеща как голуби, и Я вселю их в дома их, — так сказал Господь. —

12 Ефрем окружил Меня лжебогами, а народ Израиля восстал против Меня. Но Иуда всё ещё верен Богу, Иуда верен Святому своему».

Chapter 11

1 WHEN Israel was a child, then I loved him, and I called him, my son, out of Egypt.

2 Just as they were called, so they went away from my presence; they sacrificed to Baal and burned incense to idols.

3 It was I who cared for Ephraim and took them up in my arms; but they did not know that I healed them.

4 I drew them with cords of a man, with the bands of love; and I was to them as one who takes off the yoke from their neck, and I bent over them and fed them.

5 They shall not return to the land of Egypt, but the Assyrian shall be their king, because they refused to repent.

6 The sword shall cause pain in their cities and consume their possessions, and they shall suffer because of their evil counsels.

7 And my people are inclined to backslide from me; though they shall call to God, they will take counsel together, and none at all would exalt him.

8 How shall I uphold you, O Ephraim? How shall I help you, O Israel? How shall I make you as Adamah? How shall I set you as Zeboim? My heart is turned within me, my tender mercies are moved.

9 I will not execute the fierceness of my anger, I will not return to destroy Ephraim; for I am God, and not man in the midst of you; I am the Holy One, and I will not come to attack the city.

10 They shall walk after the LORD; he shall roar like a lion; because he shall roar, some of the people shall tremble.

11 They shall come fast like a bird out of Egypt, and like a dove out of the land of Assyria; and I will bring them back to their dwelling place, says the LORD.

12 Ephraim has compassed me about with lies, and the house of Israel and Judah with deceit; until the people of God was humbled, a people once holy and faithful.

1 WHEN Israel was a child, then I loved him, and I called him, my son, out of Egypt.

8 «Ефрем, Я не хочу отказаться от тебя. Израиль, Я желаю защитить тебя, Я не хочу уничтожить тебя, как Я уничтожил Адму и Цевоим. Я изменил решение Своё, потому что Моя любовь к тебе слишком сильна.

8 How shall I uphold you, O Ephraim? How shall I help you, O Israel? How shall I make you as Adamah? How shall I set you as Zeboim? My heart is turned within me, my tender mercies are moved.

9 Я не поддамся гневу Своему и не уничтожу вновь землю Ефрема. Я — Бог, а не человек. Я — Святой, и Я с тобой. Я не проявлю гнева Своего!

9 I will not execute the fierceness of my anger, I will not return to destroy Ephraim; for I am God, and not man in the midst of you; I am the Holy One, and I will not come to attack the city.

10 Я, Господь, буду рычать как лев, и дети Мои последуют за Мной. Они придут с запада, дрожа от страха.
