1 «Слушай Меня, семья Иакова, — сказал Господь, — ты, называющая себя Израилем. На самом же деле ты принадлежишь семье Иуды. Когда ты клянёшься и даёшь обещания, ты вспоминаешь имя Бога Израиля, но это делаешь ты неискренно и нечестно.
2 Вы, израильтяне, считаете себя гражданами святого города, которые полагаются на Бога Израиля. Господь Всемогущий — имя Его!
3 О том, что случится, Я вам говорил давно, Я вас предупреждал, и вот, внезапно Я всё свершил.
4 Я сделал так, поскольку знал упрямство ваше, Упрямы вы, словно железо негнущееся, словно бронза крепко упрямство ваше.
5 Поэтому и говорил Я вам о том, что будет, оповещал задолго до того, как оно случалось. Я говорил вам это, чтоб не сказали вы: „Это случилось по воле наших идолов”».
6 «Ты, Израиль, видел, что случилось, и должен рассказать о том другим. Теперь скажу тебе о том, чего ещё не знаешь ты.
7 Всё это случилось не в давно прошедшие времена, это происходит сейчас. Ты не слышал об этом до сегодняшнего дня, так что не можешь сказать: „Мы уже знаем это!”
8 Но даже если Я тебе скажу о том, что будет, всё равно ты Меня не станешь слушать и ничему не научишься ты. Ты никогда не слушал Моих предупреждений. Я и прежде уже знал, что будешь ты против Меня. Я знал, что ты восстанешь против Меня, ещё со времени твоего рождения.
9 Но ради Себя Я буду терпелив, и люди станут Меня хвалить за то, что Я не уничтожил тебя в минуты гнева Моего. Ты за терпение Меня восславишь!
10 Я очистил тебя, но не как в пламени серебро очищают, тебя Я очистил в огне страданий.
11 Ради Себя Я это сделал, ты не станешь теперь относиться ко Мне, как будто неважен Я. Я не позволю, чтобы славу Мою и хвалу себе идолы забирали.
12 Слушай Меня, Иаков, слушай, Израиль, избранный Мой. Я — Начало и Я — Конец.
13 Я землю сотворил Своими руками, а небо правою рукою распростёр. И если их Я призову, они придут и вместе предо Мной предстанут.
14 Все вы соберитесь вместе и слушайте Меня! Разве кто-то из ваших лжебогов это предсказал? Кир, избранник Господний, сделает всё, что Бог пожелает, уничтожив и Вавилон, и халдеев.
15 Я говорил вам, что призвал его, Я приведу его и дам ему успех.
16 Придите и послушайте Меня! Когда положено начало Вавилону было, Я был там, и с самого начала Я говорил вам ясно и открыто, и все могли понять слова Мои». Теперь мой Господь Всемогущий посылает меня и Своего Духа, чтобы сказать вам всё это.
17 Господь, твой Искупитель, Святой Израиля, говорит: «Я — Господь, твой Бог, Я тебя учу добру, Я тебя поведу путём, которым тебе идти надлежит.
18 Если бы ты Мне подчинялся, мир пришёл бы к тебе рекой полноводной, и добро, морским волнам подобно, вновь и вновь накрывало бы тебя.
19 И было бы у вас детей без счёта, как песчинок, вас не постигло бы уничтожение, и род ваш продолжался бы со Мной».
20 Оставь, народ Мой, Вавилон! Бегите из Халдеи! И эту радость несите всем во все концы земли. Скажите так: «Господь спас слугу Своего Иакова».
21 Господь ведёт их сквозь пустыню, но они жажды не узнают, потому что Господь, ради Своего народа, заставил воду течь из камня. Рассёк Он камень, и пошла вода.
22 «Но нечестивым, — говорит Господь, — нет и не будет мира».

3 I have declared5046 the former7223 things from the beginning;227 and they went3318 forth3318 out of my mouth,6310 and I showed8085 them; I did6213 them suddenly,6597 and they came935 to pass.
4 Because I knew1847 that you are obstinate,7186 and your neck6203 is an iron1270 sinew,1517 and your brow4696 brass;5154
5 I have even from the beginning227 declared5046 it to you; before2962 it came935 to pass I showed8085 it you: lest6435 you should say,559 My idol6090 has done6213 them, and my graven6459 image, and my molten5262 image, has commanded6680 them.
6 You have heard,8085 see2372 all3605 this; and will not you declare5046 it? I have showed8085 you new2319 things from this time,6258 even hidden5341 things, and you did not know3045 them.
7 They are created1254 now,6258 and not from the beginning;227 even before6440 the day3117 when you heard8085 them not; lest6435 you should say,559 Behold,2009 I knew3045 them.
8 Yes,1571 you heard8085 not; yes,1571 you knew3045 not; yes,1571 from that time227 that your ear241 was not opened:6605 for I knew3045 that you would deal very898 treacherously,898 and were called7121 a transgressor6586 from the womb.990
9 For my name's8034 sake4616 will I defer748 my anger,639 and for my praise8416 will I refrain2413 for you, that I cut3772 you not off.
10 Behold,2009 I have refined6884 you, but not with silver;3701 I have chosen977 you in the furnace3564 of affliction.6040
11 For my own sake,4616 even for my own sake,4616 will I do6213 it: for how349 should my name be polluted?2490 and I will not give5414 my glory3519 to another.312

6 «Ты, Израиль, видел, что случилось, и должен рассказать о том другим. Теперь скажу тебе о том, чего ещё не знаешь ты.

7 Всё это случилось не в давно прошедшие времена, это происходит сейчас. Ты не слышал об этом до сегодняшнего дня, так что не можешь сказать: „Мы уже знаем это!”
