1 «Иаков, ты — Мой слуга, слушай Меня. Израиль, избранный Мной, слушай, что Я говорю.
2 Я, Господь, сотворил тебя, Я единственный, Кто создал тебя таким, какой ты есть. Я тебе помогал со времён, когда ты был в материнской утробе. Иаков, слуга Мой, не бойся, Ешерон, ведь Я тебя избрал.
3 Я пролью воду для жаждущих, Я пролью потоки на сухую землю. Я Духа Моего пролью на твоих детей и семью твою благословлю.
4 Они будут расти словно молодая трава весной, словно деревья у речных потоков.
5 Один скажет: „Я Господу принадлежу”, другой назовётся именем Иакова, третий напишет: „Я Господу принадлежу”, а четвёртый назовётся именем Израиля».
6 Господь, царь Израиля, Господь Всемогущий спасает Израиль. Он говорит: «Я — единственный Бог, других богов нет, Я — Начало и Я — Конец.
7 Нет другого Бога, кроме Меня, а если есть, то пусть он сейчас говорит, пусть придёт и докажет, что он как Я, и пусть расскажет Мне, что было с тех времён, когда Я сотворил человеческий род, продолжающийся поныне, и пусть скажет, что случится в будущем.
8 Не бойтесь и не страшитесь! Я всегда говорил вам о том, чему суждено свершиться, вы — Мои свидетели, нет другого Бога, кроме Меня. Нет другой Скалы, кроме Меня».
9 Люди, делающие идолов, трудятся понапрасну, и эти идолы, которыми они дорожат, не приносят пользы. Люди сами себе свидетельствуют в том, что идолы ничего не видят, ничего не понимают и не ведают стыда.
10 Кто сделал этих лжебогов, эти бесполезные статуи?
11 Их сотворили люди, искусные мастера. Если бы все они собрались вместе и обсудили сделанное ими, им стало бы страшно и стыдно.
12 Кузнец пользуется инструментами, чтобы раскалить над горячими углями железо, он молотом придаёт металлу форму статуи, вкладывает в это свои силы. Но когда он голоден, то теряет силы, и когда не пьёт воду, то становится слабым.
13 Плотник пользуется отвесом, чтобы провести на дереве прямую линию, а затем с помощью резца вырезает статую. Он пользуется калибром, выверяя размеры статуи, и создаёт статую по подобию человека лишь для того, чтобы она стояла у него в доме.
14 В лесу он рубит кедр, а также кипарис и дуб. Он сажает кедр, которому дождь помогает расти.
15 И дерево служит ему топливом. Он рубит дерево на куски и обогревает им дом, разводит огонь и печёт хлеб. Но из части этого дерева он делает бога и поклоняется ему. Этот бог сотворён им самим, но он ему поклоняется.
16 Человек сжигает половину дерева, готовит мясо и ест досыта, он сжигает дерево, чтобы согреться, и говорит: «Хорошо, мне тепло, мне всё видно при свете огня».
17 У него остаётся немного дерева, и он делает из него статую, называет её богом и поклоняется ему. Он молится этому идолу и говорит: «Ты — мой бог, спаси меня!»
18 Эти люди не понимают, что делают, словно глаза их залеплены грязью, они не способны видеть. Их сердца не стремятся к разуму.
19 Эти люди не думают и ничего не понимают, они никогда не говорят себе: «Я сжёг половину дерева, испёк хлеб и приготовил мясо, а из остатков дерева я сделал эту мерзость и теперь поклоняюсь куску дерева».
20 Тот человек не сознаёт, что он делает. Он растерян, и сердце ведёт его по неверному пути. Он не может спасти себя, не способен понять, что поступает неправильно, и не говорит: «Статуя, которую я вырезал, — лжебог».
21 «Помни это, Иаков, помни, Израиль, что ты Мой слуга, и не забывай обо Мне.
22 Грехи твои были словно большое облако, но Я их развеял, они исчезли, как туман исчезает в небе. Я спас тебя и сохранил, поэтому снова вернись ко Мне».
23 Счастливы небеса великими свершениями Господними. Счастлива земля до самой глубины, горы поют благодарность, счастливы все деревья, потому что Господь спас Иакова, тем самым Себя прославив.
24 Господь создал тебя таким, какой ты есть. Господь, сотворивший тебя в утробе матери, говорит: «Я, Господь, сотворил всё, Я Сам поставил небеса и землю пред Собою распростёр».
25 Лжепророки лгут, но Господь выявляет их обман. Господь обнаруживает глупость занимающихся колдовством, даже мудрых смущает Господь. Они полагают, что многое знают, но Господь выявляет их глупость.
26 Господь исполняет предсказания слуг Своих. Он подтверждает слова вестников Своих и говорит Иерусалиму: «Народ снова возвратится к тебе». Он молвит городам Иудеи: «Вы будете вновь отстроены». С такими словами Он обращается к руинам: «Я вас восстановлю».
27 Господь глубоким водам говорит: «Сухими станьте! Я ваши воды иссушу!»
28 Господь говорит Киру: «Ты — Мой пастух, ты исполнишь Мою волю. Иерусалиму скажешь ты, что он построен будет снова, и скажешь храму, что вновь укрепятся основания его».

3 For I will pour3332 water4325 on him that is thirsty,6771 and floods5140 on the dry3004 ground: I will pour3332 my spirit7307 on your seed,2233 and my blessing1293 on your offspring:6631
4 And they shall spring6779 up as among996 the grass,2682 as willows6155 by the water4325 courses.2988

9 They that make3335 a graven6459 image are all3605 of them vanity;8414 and their delectable2530 things shall not profit;3276 and they are their own witnesses;5707 they see7200 not, nor1077 know;3045 that they may be ashamed.954
10 Who4310 has formed3335 a god,410 or molten5258 a graven6459 image that is profitable3276 for nothing?1115
11 Behold,2005 all3605 his fellows2270 shall be ashamed:954 and the workmen,2796 they are of men:120 let them all3605 be gathered6908 together, let them stand5975 up; yet they shall fear,6342 and they shall be ashamed954 together.3162

17 У него остаётся немного дерева, и он делает из него статую, называет её богом и поклоняется ему. Он молится этому идолу и говорит: «Ты — мой бог, спаси меня!»

20 Тот человек не сознаёт, что он делает. Он растерян, и сердце ведёт его по неверному пути. Он не может спасти себя, не способен понять, что поступает неправильно, и не говорит: «Статуя, которую я вырезал, — лжебог».

21 «Помни это, Иаков, помни, Израиль, что ты Мой слуга, и не забывай обо Мне.

22 Грехи твои были словно большое облако, но Я их развеял, они исчезли, как туман исчезает в небе. Я спас тебя и сохранил, поэтому снова вернись ко Мне».

23 Счастливы небеса великими свершениями Господними. Счастлива земля до самой глубины, горы поют благодарность, счастливы все деревья, потому что Господь спас Иакова, тем самым Себя прославив.
