Глава 16

1 Там Иисуса обступили фарисеи и саддукеи, которые, желая испытать Его, просили, чтобы Он показал им знамение с неба.

2 Иисус ответил: — На закате, увидев, что небо красное, вы говорите: «Будет хорошая погода»,

3 а на рассвете, если небо заволокло багровыми тучами, вы говорите: «Будет буря». Вы знаете, что означают приметы неба, а истолковать знаков времени не можете.

4 Злое и развратное поколение ищет знамения, но ему не будет дано никакого знамения, кроме знамения Ионы. И, оставив их, Иисус ушел.

5 Переправляясь на другую сторону озера, ученики забыли взять с собой хлеба.

6 Иисус же сказал им: — Смотрите, берегитесь закваски фарисеев и саддукеев.

7 Ученики стали рассуждать между собой: — Он говорит это потому, что мы не взяли с собой хлеба.

8 Иисус, зная, о чем они говорят, сказал: — Маловеры, почему вы рассуждаете между собой о том, что у вас нет хлеба?

9 Неужели вы еще не поняли? Разве вы не помните, как пяти хлебов хватило на пять тысяч человек? Сколько вы тогда собрали корзин с остатками?

10 А сколько корзин остатков вы собрали, когда четыре тысячи мужчин наелись семью хлебами?

11 Как вы не можете понять, что, говоря: «Берегитесь закваски фарисеев и саддукеев», Я говорю не о хлебе?

12 Тогда ученики поняли, что Он предостерегал их не от закваски, которую кладут в хлеб, а от учения фарисеев и саддукеев.

13 Когда Иисус пришел в окрестности Кесарии Филипповой, Он спросил Своих учеников: — За кого люди принимают Сына Человеческого?

14 Ученики ответили: — Одни говорят, что Ты — Иоанн Креститель, другие — что Илия, а третьи — что Иеремия или один из других пророков.

15 — А вы кем считаете Меня? — спросил их Иисус.

16 Симон Петр ответил: — Ты — Христос, Сын живого Бога.

17 Тогда Иисус сказал: — Блажен ты, Симон, сын Ионы, потому что это было открыто тебе не людьми, а Моим Небесным Отцом.

18 И Я говорю тебе: ты — Петр, и на этой скале Я построю Мою Церковь, и врата ада не одолеют ее.

19 Я дам тебе ключи от Небесного Царства, и что ты запретишь на земле, то будет запрещено на небесах, и все, что ты разрешишь на земле, будет разрешено и на небесах.

20 Затем Иисус велел ученикам никому не говорить о том, что Он — Христос.

21 С этого времени Иисус начал объяснять ученикам, что Он должен идти в Иерусалим и там много пострадать от старейшин, первосвященников и учителей Закона, что Он будет убит, но на третий день воскреснет.

22 Тогда Петр отвел Его в сторону и стал возражать: — Да помилует Тебя Бог! Пусть не случится с Тобой этого, Господи!

23 Иисус же, обернувшись, сказал Петру: — Прочь от Меня, сатана! Ты Мне камень преткновения, потому что рассуждаешь по-человечески и не понимаешь того, что хочет Бог.

24 Потом Иисус сказал ученикам: — Если кто желает быть Моим последователем, пусть отречется от самого себя, возьмет свой крест и пусть следует за Мной.

25 Потому что тот, кто хочет сберечь свою жизнь, потеряет ее, а кто потеряет свою жизнь ради Меня, тот обретет ее.

26 Ведь что пользы человеку, если он приобретет весь мир, но при этом повредит своей душе? Или что даст человек в обмен за свою душу?

27 Когда Сын Человеческий придет в славе Своего Отца, окруженный Своими ангелами, тогда Он воздаст каждому по его делам.

28 Говорю вам истину: некоторые из вас, стоящих здесь, не умрут, пока не увидят прежде Сына Человеческого, пришедшего в Своем Царстве.

Chapter 16

1 AND the Pharisees and Sadducees came up to him to tempt him; and they asked him to show them a sign from heaven.

2 But he answered and said to them, When it is evening, you say, It is clear, for the sky is red.

3 And in the morning you say, It is a winter day, for the sky is red and cloudy. O hypocrites, you know how to judge the face of the sky, but the signs of the present time you are not able to distinguish.

4 A wicked and adulterous generation wants a sign; and no sign shall be given to it, except the sign of the prophet Jonah. And he left them and went away.

5 When his disciples came to the crossing place, they had forgotten to take bread with them.

6 He said to them, Look out and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.

7 And they were reasoning among themselves and saying, It is because we have not brought bread.

8 But Jesus knew it and said to them, What are you thinking among yourselves, O you of little faith; is it because you have not brought bread?

9 Do you not yet understand? Do you not remember the five loaves of bread of the five thousand, and how many baskets you took up?

10 Neither the seven loaves of bread of the four thousand, and how many baskets you took up?

11 How is it that you did not understand that I was not talking to you about the bread, but to beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees?

12 Then they understood, that he did not say that they should beware of the leaven of the bread, but of the teaching of the Pharisees and the Sadducees.

13 When Jesus came to the country of Caesarea of Philippi, he asked his disciples saying, What do the men say concerning me, that I am merely a son of man?

14 They said, There are some who say John the Baptist, others Elijah, and still others Jeremiah, or one of the prophets:

15 He said to them, Who do you say that I am?

16 Simon Peter answered and said, You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.

17 Jesus answered and said to him, Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for flesh and blood did not reveal it to you, but my Father in heaven.

18 I tell you also that you are a stone, and upon this stone I will build my church; and the doors of Sheol shall not shut in on it.

19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you release on earth shall be released in heaven.

20 Then he charged his disciples not to tell any man that he is the Christ.

21 From that time Jesus began to make known to his disciples, that he will shortly have to go to Jerusalem, and suffer a great deal from the elders, and the high priests and scribes, and be killed, and rise up on the third day.

22 So Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him, and he said, Far be it from you, my Lord, that this should happen to you.

23 But he turned, and said to Peter, Get behind me, Satan, you are a stumbling-block to me; for you are not thinking of the things of God, but of men.

24 Then Jesus said to his disciples, He who wishes to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross and follow me.

25 For whoever wishes to save his life shall lose it; and whoever loses his life for my sake shall find it.

26 For how will a man be benefited, if he should gain the whole world and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

27 For the Son of man will come in the glory of his Father with his holy angels; and then he will reward each man according to his works.

28 Truly I say to you, There are men who stand here, who will not taste death, until they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.

4 Злое и развратное поколение ищет знамения, но ему не будет дано никакого знамения, кроме знамения Ионы. И, оставив их, Иисус ушел.	4 A wicked and adulterous generation wants a sign; and no sign shall be given to it, except the sign of the prophet Jonah. And he left them and went away.

7 Ученики стали рассуждать между собой: — Он говорит это потому, что мы не взяли с собой хлеба.	7 And they were reasoning among themselves and saying, It is because we have not brought bread.
8 Иисус, зная, о чем они говорят, сказал: — Маловеры, почему вы рассуждаете между собой о том, что у вас нет хлеба?	8 But Jesus knew it and said to them, What are you thinking among yourselves, O you of little faith; is it because you have not brought bread?
9 Неужели вы еще не поняли? Разве вы не помните, как пяти хлебов хватило на пять тысяч человек? Сколько вы тогда собрали корзин с остатками?	9 Do you not yet understand? Do you not remember the five loaves of bread of the five thousand, and how many baskets you took up?
10 А сколько корзин остатков вы собрали, когда четыре тысячи мужчин наелись семью хлебами?	10 Neither the seven loaves of bread of the four thousand, and how many baskets you took up?
11 Как вы не можете понять, что, говоря: «Берегитесь закваски фарисеев и саддукеев», Я говорю не о хлебе?	11 How is it that you did not understand that I was not talking to you about the bread, but to beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees?
12 Тогда ученики поняли, что Он предостерегал их не от закваски, которую кладут в хлеб, а от учения фарисеев и саддукеев.	12 Then they understood, that he did not say that they should beware of the leaven of the bread, but of the teaching of the Pharisees and the Sadducees.
13 Когда Иисус пришел в окрестности Кесарии Филипповой, Он спросил Своих учеников: — За кого люди принимают Сына Человеческого?	13 When Jesus came to the country of Caesarea of Philippi, he asked his disciples saying, What do the men say concerning me, that I am merely a son of man?
14 Ученики ответили: — Одни говорят, что Ты — Иоанн Креститель, другие — что Илия, а третьи — что Иеремия или один из других пророков.	14 They said, There are some who say John the Baptist, others Elijah, and still others Jeremiah, or one of the prophets:
15 — А вы кем считаете Меня? — спросил их Иисус.	15 He said to them, Who do you say that I am?
16 Симон Петр ответил: — Ты — Христос, Сын живого Бога.	16 Simon Peter answered and said, You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.
17 Тогда Иисус сказал: — Блажен ты, Симон, сын Ионы, потому что это было открыто тебе не людьми, а Моим Небесным Отцом.	17 Jesus answered and said to him, Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for flesh and blood did not reveal it to you, but my Father in heaven.
18 И Я говорю тебе: ты — Петр, и на этой скале Я построю Мою Церковь, и врата ада не одолеют ее.	18 I tell you also that you are a stone, and upon this stone I will build my church; and the doors of Sheol shall not shut in on it.
19 Я дам тебе ключи от Небесного Царства, и что ты запретишь на земле, то будет запрещено на небесах, и все, что ты разрешишь на земле, будет разрешено и на небесах.	19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you release on earth shall be released in heaven.
20 Затем Иисус велел ученикам никому не говорить о том, что Он — Христос.	20 Then he charged his disciples not to tell any man that he is the Christ.
21 С этого времени Иисус начал объяснять ученикам, что Он должен идти в Иерусалим и там много пострадать от старейшин, первосвященников и учителей Закона, что Он будет убит, но на третий день воскреснет.	21 From that time Jesus began to make known to his disciples, that he will shortly have to go to Jerusalem, and suffer a great deal from the elders, and the high priests and scribes, and be killed, and rise up on the third day.

Ты Мне камень преткновения, потому что рассуждаешь по-человечески и не понимаешь того, что хочет Бог.	23 But he turned, and said to Peter, Get behind me, Satan, you are a stumbling-block to me; for you are not thinking of the things of God, but of men.
24 Потом Иисус сказал ученикам: — Если кто желает быть Моим последователем, пусть отречется от самого себя, возьмет свой крест и пусть следует за Мной.	24 Then Jesus said to his disciples, He who wishes to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross and follow me.
25 Потому что тот, кто хочет сберечь свою жизнь, потеряет ее, а кто потеряет свою жизнь ради Меня, тот обретет ее.	25 For whoever wishes to save his life shall lose it; and whoever loses his life for my sake shall find it.
26 Ведь что пользы человеку, если он приобретет весь мир, но при этом повредит своей душе? Или что даст человек в обмен за свою душу?	26 For how will a man be benefited, if he should gain the whole world and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
27 Когда Сын Человеческий придет в славе Своего Отца, окруженный Своими ангелами, тогда Он воздаст каждому по его делам.	27 For the Son of man will come in the glory of his Father with his holy angels; and then he will reward each man according to his works.
28 Говорю вам истину: некоторые из вас, стоящих здесь, не умрут, пока не увидят прежде Сына Человеческого, пришедшего в Своем Царстве.	28 Truly I say to you, There are men who stand here, who will not taste death, until they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.
