1 Господь сказал Моисею и Аарону:

2 — Скажите израильтянам: «Вот животные, живущие на земле, которых вы можете есть.

3 Вы можете есть всякое животное, у которого раздвоенное копыто имеет глубокий разрез и которое жует жвачку.

4 Есть животные, которые либо жуют жвачку, либо имеют раздвоенное копыто. Не ешьте из них: верблюда, потому что он жует жвачку, но у него копыто не раздвоено — он нечист для вас;

5 дамана, который жует жвачку, но у него нет раздвоенного копыта — он нечист для вас;

6 кролика, который жует жвачку, но у него нет раздвоенного копыта — он нечист для вас.

7 А свинья, хотя у нее копыто и раздвоено, и имеет глубокий разрез, не жует жвачку — она тоже нечиста для вас.

8 Не ешьте их мясо и не прикасайтесь к их трупам: они нечисты для вас.

9 Из существ, живущих в воде — в морях и реках, вы можете есть тех, у которых есть плавники и чешуя.

10 Но теми существами из морей и рек, у которых нет плавников и чешуи, и пресмыкающимися, и другой водяной живностью гнушайтесь.

11 Гнушаясь ими, не ешьте их мясо. Гнушайтесь их трупами.

12 Вся водная живность, которая не имеет плавников и чешуи, пусть будет для вас мерзостью.

13 Вот птицы, которыми вы должны гнушаться и которых не должны есть, потому что это мерзость: орел, бородач, скопа,

14 коршун, любой вид сокола,

15 любой вид ворона,

16 сова, козодой, чайка, любой вид ястреба,

17 домовой сыч, большой баклан, филин,

18 белая сова, пустынная сова, стервятник,

19 аист, любой вид цапли, удод и летучая мышь.

20 Все насекомые, которые могут и летать, и ползать, пусть будут для вас мерзостью.

21 Из всех летающих и ползающих насекомых вы можете есть только тех, у которых ноги приспособлены к прыжкам.

22 Из них вы можете есть любой вид саранчи, акрид, цикад и кузнечиков.

23 Но остальными насекомыми, которые могут и летать, и ползать, гнушайтесь.

24 Вы осквернитесь ими. Любой, кто прикоснется к их трупам, будет нечист до вечера.

25 Любой, кто подберет такой труп, должен выстирать одежду и будет нечист до вечера.

26 Любое животное, у которого копыто раздвоено, но не имеет глубокого разреза, или которое не жует жвачку, нечисто для вас. Всякий, кто прикоснется к ним, станет нечист.

27 Те четвероногие животные, которые ходят на лапах, нечисты для вас. Любой, кто прикоснется к их трупам, будет нечист до вечера.

28 Любой, кто подберет их труп, должен выстирать одежду и будет нечист до вечера. Эти животные нечисты для вас.

29 Из ползающих по земле для вас нечисты: ласка, мышь, любой вид шипохвоста,

31 Из всех ползающих эти животные нечисты для вас. Любой, кто прикоснется к их трупам, будет нечист до вечера.

32 Если труп упадет на что-нибудь, та вещь, каким бы ни было ее назначение, станет нечиста, будь она из дерева, ткани, шкуры или мешковины. Ее нужно окунуть в воду. Она будет нечиста до вечера, а затем вновь станет чистой.

33 Если труп упадет в глиняный горшок, все в нем станет нечистым, и горшок нужно разбить.

34 Пища, на которую попала вода из такого горшка, нечиста, и любое питье станет в нем нечистым.

35 Все, на что упадет труп, станет нечистым. Печь или горшок для стряпни нужно разбить. Они нечисты, обходитесь с ними как с нечистыми.

36 Однако источник или хранилище для воды останутся чистыми, но все, что в них прикоснется к трупу, станет нечистым.

37 Если труп упадет на семена, ждущие высадки, они останутся чистыми.

4 Nevertheless389 these2088 shall you not eat398 of them that chew5927 the cud,1625 or of them that divide6536 the hoof:6541 as the camel,1581 because3588 he chews5927 the cud,1625 but divides6536 not the hoof;6541 he is unclean2931 to you.

5 And the coney,8227 because3588 he chews5927 the cud,1625 but divides6536 not the hoof;6541 he is unclean2931 to you.

6 And the hare,768 because3588 he chews5927 the cud,1625 but divides6536 not the hoof;6541 he is unclean2931 to you.

7 And the swine,2386 though he divide6536 the hoof,6541 and be cloven footed,8156 8157 6541 yet he chews1641 not the cud;1625 he is unclean2931 to you.

8 Of their flesh1320 shall you not eat,398 and their carcass5038 shall you not touch;5060 they are unclean2931 to you.

9 These2088 shall you eat398 of all3605 that are in the waters:4325 whatever3605 has fins5579 and scales7193 in the waters,4325 in the seas,3220 and in the rivers,5158 them shall you eat.398

10 And all3605 that have not fins5579 and scales7193 in the seas,3220 and in the rivers,5158 of all3605 that move8318 in the waters,4325 and of any3605 living2416 thing5315 which834 is in the waters,4325 they shall be an abomination8263 to you:

11 They shall be even an abomination8263 to you; you shall not eat398 of their flesh,1320 but you shall have their carcasses5038 in abomination.8262

17 And the little3563 owl,3563 and the cormorant,7994 and the great3244 owl,3244

19 And the stork,2624 the heron601 after her kind,4327 and the lapwing,1744 and the bat.5847

20 All3605 fowls5775 that creep,8318 going1980 on all four,702 shall be an abomination8263 to you.

21 Yet389 these2088 may you eat398 of every3605 flying5775 creeping8318 thing that goes1980 on all four,702 which834 have legs3767 above4605 their feet,7272 to leap5425 with2004 on the earth;776

22 Even these428 of them you may eat;398 the locust697 after his kind,4327 and the bald5556 locust5556 after his kind,4327 and the beetle2728 after his kind,4327 and the grasshopper2284 after his kind.4327

23 But all3605 other flying5775 creeping8318 things, which834 have four702 feet,7272 shall be an abomination8263 to you.

24 And for these428 you shall be unclean:2930 whoever3605 touches5060 the carcass5038 of them shall be unclean2930 until5704 the even.6153

25 And whoever3605 bears5375 ought of the carcass5038 of them shall wash3526 his clothes,899 and be unclean2930 until5704 the even.6153

26 The carcasses of every3605 beast929 which834 divides6536 the hoof,6541 and is not cloven footed,8156 8157 6541 nor369 chews5927 the cud,1625 are unclean2931 to you: every3605 one that touches5060 them shall be unclean.2930

27 And whatever3605 goes1980 on his paws,3709 among all3605 manner of beasts2416 that go1980 on5921 all four,702 those1992 are unclean2931 to you: whoever3605 touches5060 their carcass5038 shall be unclean2930 until5704 the even.6153

28 And he that bears5375 the carcass5038 of them shall wash3526 his clothes,899 and be unclean2930 until5704 the even:6153 they are unclean2931 to you.

29 These2088 also shall be unclean2931 to you among the creeping8318 things that creep8317 on the earth;776 the weasel,2467 and the mouse,5909 and the tortoise6632 after his kind,4327

30 And the ferret,604 and the chameleon,3581 and the lizard,3911 and the snail,2546 and the mole.8580

31 These2088 are unclean2931 to you among all3605 that creep:8318 whoever3605 does touch5060 them, when they be dead,4194 shall be unclean2930 until5704 the even.6153

32 And on whatever3605 any of them, when they are dead,4194 does fall,5307 it shall be unclean;2930 whether it be any3605 vessel3627 of wood,6086 or176 raiment,899 or176 skin,5785 or176 sack,8242 whatever3605 vessel3627 it be, wherein834 any work4399 is done,6213 it must be put935 into water,4325 and it shall be unclean2930 until5704 the even;6153 so it shall be cleansed.2891

33 And every3605 earthen2789 vessel,3627 into where834 any of them falls,5307 whatever3605 is in it shall be unclean;2930 and you shall break7665 it.

34 Of all3605 meat400 which834 may be eaten,398 that on5921 which834 such water4325 comes935 shall be unclean:2930 and all3605 drink4945 that may be drunk8354 in every3605 such vessel3627 shall be unclean.2930

35 And every3605 thing whereupon834 5921 any part of their carcass5038 falls5307 shall be unclean;2930 whether it be oven,8574 or ranges3600 for pots, they shall be broken5422 down:5422 for they are unclean 2931and shall be unclean2931 to you.

36 Nevertheless389 a fountain4599 or pit,953 wherein there is plenty4723 of water,4325 shall be clean:2889 but that which touches5060 their carcass5038 shall be unclean.2930

37 And if3588 any part of their carcass5038 fall5307 on any3605 sowing2221 seed2233 which834 is to be sown,2232 it shall be clean.2889

38 But if3588 any water4325 be put5414 on the seed,2233 and any part of their carcass5038 fall5307 thereon,5921 it shall be unclean2931 to you.

39 And if3588 any beast,929 of which834 you may eat,402 die;4191 he that touches5060 the carcass5038 thereof shall be unclean2930 until5704 the even.6153

40 And he that eats398 of the carcass5038 of it shall wash3526 his clothes,899 and be unclean2930 until5704 the even:6153 he also that bears5375 the carcass5038 of it shall wash3526 his clothes,899 and be unclean2930 until5704 the even.6153

41 And every3605 creeping8318 thing that creeps8317 on the earth776 shall be an abomination;8263 it shall not be eaten.398

42 Whatever3605 goes1980 on the belly,1512 and whatever3605 goes1980 on all four,702 or5704 whatever3605 has more7235 feet7272 among all3605 creeping8318 things that creep8317 on the earth,776 them you shall not eat;398 for they are an abomination.8263

43 You shall not make yourselves5315 abominable8262 with any3605 creeping8318 thing that creeps,8317 neither3808 shall you make yourselves5315 unclean2930 with them, that you should be defiled2933 thereby.

44 For I am the LORD3068 your God:430 you shall therefore sanctify6942 yourselves,5315 and you shall be holy;6918 for I am holy:6918 neither3808 shall you defile2930 yourselves5315 with any3605 manner of creeping8318 thing that creeps7430 on the earth.776

45 For I am the LORD3068 that brings5927 you up out of the land776 of Egypt,4714 to be your God:430 you shall therefore be holy,6918 for I am holy.6918

46 This2063 is the law8451 of the beasts,929 and of the fowl,5775 and of every3605 living2416 creature5315 that moves7430 in the waters,4325 and of every3605 creature5315 that creeps8317 on the earth:776

47 To make a difference914 between996 the unclean2931 and the clean,2889 and between996 the beast2416 that may be eaten398 and the beast2416 that may not be eaten.398
