2 И сказал он мне: что ты видишь? я сказал: вижу летящий свиток, коего длина локтей двадцать, а широта локтей десять. |
|
3 И сказал он мне: это проклятие, исшедшее на всю землю; потому что с одной стороны его, всякий тать будет истреблен, и потому что с другой стороны его будет истреблен всякий клятвопреступник. |
|
4 Я пустил его, говорит Иегова воинств; и падет оно на дом татя, и на дом клянущегося именем Моим во лжи; и возляжет на доме его, и погубит его, и дерева его, и камни его. |
|
5 И выступил Ангел, говоривший со мною, и сказал мне: подними глаза свои, и посмотри, что это несется? |
|
6 Я сказал: что это? Он сказал: это ефа несется. И сказал: это их образ по всей земле. |
|
7 И вот талант свинцовый был принесен, и вот какая-то женщина сидит посреди этой ефы. |
|
8 И сказал он: это нечестие. И бросил ее в средину ефы, и бросил ей в рот оную оловянную гирю. |
|
9 И поднял я глаза мои, и вижу: и вот, понеслись две женщины; и дух был в крыльях их; и крылья у них как крылья у аиста; и понесли они ефу между землею и небом. |
|
10 И сказал я Ангелу, говорившему со мною: куда они несут ефу? |
|
11 Он сказал мне: чтоб устроить ей дом в Сенаарской земле; и когда будет все приготовлено, там она поставится на своем месте. |

1 THEN I turned and lifted up my eyes and looked, and beheld a flying scroll. |
|
2 And he said to me, What do you see? And I said, I see a flying scroll; its length is twenty cubits and its width ten cubits. |
|
3 Then he said to me, This is the curse that goes forth over the face of the whole earth; for every one who steals shall be judged according to its contents; and every one who swears shall be judged according to it. |
|
4 I will bring it forth, says the LORD of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thief and into the house of him who swears falsely by my name; and it shall remain in the midst of his house and shall consume it with the timber thereof and the stones thereof. |
|
5 Then the angel who talked with me went forth and said to me, Lift up your eyes and see what is this that goes forth. |
|
6 And I said, What is it? And he said to me, This is an ephah that goes forth, and in it are the transgressions of the whole earth. |
|
7 And behold, a talent of lead was lifted up, and a woman was sitting in the midst of the ephah. |
|
8 And he said to me, This is wickedness. And he cast her into the midst of the ephah; and he cast the talent of lead upon its mouth. |
|
9 Then I lifted up my eyes and looked, and behold, there came out two women, and the wind was in their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork; and they lifted up the ephah between earth and heaven. |
|
10 Then I said to the angel who talked with me, Where are they carrying the ephah? |
|
11 And he said to me, To build for it a house in the land of Babylon; and it shall be established and set there upon its own base. |
