1 И выпал жребий колену Манассии, поелику он был первенец Иосифа. Махиру, первенцу Манассии, отцу Галаада, который был храбр на войне, достался Галаад и Васан. |
|
2 Достались уделы и прочим сынам Манассии, по племенам их, и сынам Авиезера, и сынам Хелека, и сынам Асриила, и сынам Шехема, и сынам Хефера, и сынам Шемиды. Вот дети Манассии, сына Иосифова, мужеского пола, по племенам их. |

4 Они пришли к священнику Елеазару и к Иисусу, сыну Навину, и к начальникам, и сказали: Господь повелел Моисею дать нам удел между братьями нашими. И дан им удел, по повелению Господню, между братьями отца их. |
|
5 И выпало Манассии десять участков, кроме земли Галаадской и Васанской, которая за Иорданом; |
|
6 Поелику дочери [сынов] Манассии получили удел среди сыновей его, а земля Галаадская досталась прочим сынам Манассии. |
|
7 |
|
8 Земля Таппуах досталась Манассии, а город Таппуах у предела Манассиина - сынам Ефремовым. |
|
9 Отсюда предел нисходит к потоку Кане с южной стороны потока. Города сии принадлежат Ефрему, хотя находятся среди городов Манассии. Предел Манассии на северной стороне потока, и оканчивается морем. |
|
10 Что к югу, то Ефремове; а что к северу, то Манассиино: море же было пределом их. К Асиру примыкались они с северной стороны, и к Иссахару с восточной. |
|
11 У Иссахара и Асира принадлежат Манассии Беф-Сан и зависящие от него места, Ивлеам и зависящие от него места, жители Дора и зависящие от него места, жители Ен-Дора и зависящие от него места, жители Фаанаха и зависящие от него места, жители Мегиддона и зависящие от него места, и третья часть Нафефа [с селами его]. |

12 Сыны Манассиины не могли выгнать жителей городов сих; и Хананеи начали жить в земле сей. |
|
13 Когда же сыны Израилевы пришли в силу, тогда Хананеев сделали они данниками, но изгнать не изгнали их. |
|
14 |
|
15 Иисус сказал им: если ты многолюден: то пойди в леса и там в земле Ферезеев и Рефаимов расчисть себе [место], если гора Ефремова для тебя тесна. |
|
16 Сыны Иосифа сказали: не останется за нами гора; потому что железные колесницы у всех Хананеев, живущих на долине, как у тех, которые в Беф-Сане и в зависящих от него местах, так и у тех, которые на долине Изреельской. |
|
17 Но Иисус сказал дому Иосифову, Ефрему и Манассии: ты многолюден и сила у тебя велика; не один жребий будет у тебя. |
|
18 И гора будет твоею, и лес сей; ты расчистишь его и он будет твой до самого конца его; ибо ты изгонишь Хананеев, хотя у них колесницы железные, и хотя они сильны, [ты одолеешь их]. |

|
1 AND Gilead became the lot for the tribe of Manasseh; for he was the first-born of Joseph; to Machir the first-born of Manasseh, the father of Gilead; because he was the first-born and a man of war, therefore he had Gilead and Mathnin. |
|
2 And became also the portion for the rest of the children of Manasseh by their families; for the descendants of Abiezer and for the descendants of Helek and for the descendants of Neshrael and for the descendants of Shopam and for the descendants of Hepher and for the descendants of Shemida; these were the male children of Manasseh the son of Joseph by their families. |
|
3 But Zelophehad, the son of Hepher, the son of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, had no sons, but daughters; and these are the names of his daughters, Mahlah, and Joah, Hoglah, Milcah and Tirzah. |
|
4 And they came near before Eleazar the priest, and before Joshua the son of Nun, and before the princes of Israel, saying, The LORD commanded Moses to give us an inheritance among our brethren; so he gave us according to the command of the LORD, among the brothers of our father. Now therefore give us an inheritance among the brethren of our father. So Joshua gave them an inheritance among the brethren of their father. |

5 And there fell ten portions to Manasseh, besides the land of Gilead and Mathnin, which were on the other side of the Jordan; |
|
6 Because the daughters of Manasseh received an inheritance among his sons; and the land of Gilead fell to the lot of the rest of the sons of Manasseh. |
|
7 And the border of Manasseh was from the boundary of Maacath, which lies on the right hand of the inhabitants of En-tappuah. |
|
8 Thus their land was in the region of Tappuah and Patah, which became the boundary to the descendants of Manasseh the son of Joseph, and to the Ephraimites; |
|
9 And the boundary went down to the river of the Sea, to the south of the river of the cities which belong to Ephraim among the cities of Manasseh; and the border of Manasseh ran on the north side of the river, and the outgoings thereof reached to the sea; |
|
10 The land to the south went to Ephraim, and that to the north to Manasseh, and the sea as their border; and they met together in Asher on the north, and in Issachar on the east. |
|
11 And Manasseh had opposite Issachar and Asher, Beth-shean and its towns, and Neb-leam and its towns, and En-dor and its towns, and Taanach and its towns, and Megiddo and its towns, three districts. |
|
12 Yet the Israelites could not destroy these cities, because the Canaanites took refuge and dwelt in them. |
|
13 But when the children of Israel became strong, they subdued the Canaanites and made them pay tribute; but did not utterly destroy them. |
|
14 And the descendants of Joseph spoke to Joshua, saying, Why have you given us but one portion to inherit, seeing we are a numerous people, forasmuch as the LORD has blessed us hitherto? |
|
15 Joshua said to them, If you are a numerous people, then go up on the side of the mountain, and choose for yourselves a portion in the land of the Perizzites and of the giants, if mount Ephraim is too narrow for you. |
|
16 And the descendants of Joseph said, The mountain and the cities of the Perizzites are not enough for us; for the Canaanites still dwell in the land of the valley, and in Beth-shean and its towns, and in the valley of Jezreel. |
|
17 Then Joshua spoke to the house of Joseph, even to Ephraim and Manasseh, saying, You are a numerous people, and have a great power; if one portion is not enough for you, |
|
18 Then choose for yourselves the mountain, and it will be enough for you, and the slopes of the mountain and its limits shall be yours; and you shall destroy the Canaanites and the Perizzites, though they have great iron chariots, and though they are strong. |

2 Достались уделы и прочим сынам Манассии, по племенам их, и сынам Авиезера, и сынам Хелека, и сынам Асриила, и сынам Шехема, и сынам Хефера, и сынам Шемиды. Вот дети Манассии, сына Иосифова, мужеского пола, по племенам их. |

6 Поелику дочери [сынов] Манассии получили удел среди сыновей его, а земля Галаадская досталась прочим сынам Манассии. |

10 Что к югу, то Ефремове; а что к северу, то Манассиино: море же было пределом их. К Асиру примыкались они с северной стороны, и к Иссахару с восточной. |
10 The land to the south went to Ephraim, and that to the north to Manasseh, and the sea as their border; and they met together in Asher on the north, and in Issachar on the east. |

11 And Manasseh had opposite Issachar and Asher, Beth-shean and its towns, and Neb-leam and its towns, and En-dor and its towns, and Taanach and its towns, and Megiddo and its towns, three districts. |

12 Yet the Israelites could not destroy these cities, because the Canaanites took refuge and dwelt in them. |
|
13 Когда же сыны Израилевы пришли в силу, тогда Хананеев сделали они данниками, но изгнать не изгнали их. |
13 But when the children of Israel became strong, they subdued the Canaanites and made them pay tribute; but did not utterly destroy them. |
|

14 And the descendants of Joseph spoke to Joshua, saying, Why have you given us but one portion to inherit, seeing we are a numerous people, forasmuch as the LORD has blessed us hitherto? |

15 Иисус сказал им: если ты многолюден: то пойди в леса и там в земле Ферезеев и Рефаимов расчисть себе [место], если гора Ефремова для тебя тесна. |
15 Joshua said to them, If you are a numerous people, then go up on the side of the mountain, and choose for yourselves a portion in the land of the Perizzites and of the giants, if mount Ephraim is too narrow for you. |

16 Сыны Иосифа сказали: не останется за нами гора; потому что железные колесницы у всех Хананеев, живущих на долине, как у тех, которые в Беф-Сане и в зависящих от него местах, так и у тех, которые на долине Изреельской. |
16 And the descendants of Joseph said, The mountain and the cities of the Perizzites are not enough for us; for the Canaanites still dwell in the land of the valley, and in Beth-shean and its towns, and in the valley of Jezreel. |

17 Но Иисус сказал дому Иосифову, Ефрему и Манассии: ты многолюден и сила у тебя велика; не один жребий будет у тебя. |
17 Then Joshua spoke to the house of Joseph, even to Ephraim and Manasseh, saying, You are a numerous people, and have a great power; if one portion is not enough for you, |

18 И гора будет твоею, и лес сей; ты расчистишь его и он будет твой до самого конца его; ибо ты изгонишь Хананеев, хотя у них колесницы железные, и хотя они сильны, [ты одолеешь их]. |
18 Then choose for yourselves the mountain, and it will be enough for you, and the slopes of the mountain and its limits shall be yours; and you shall destroy the Canaanites and the Perizzites, though they have great iron chariots, and though they are strong. |
