1 Куда пошел Возлюбленный твой, прекраснейшая из женщин? Куда Возлюбленный твой устремлял взоры? И мы поищем Его с тобою. -

2 Возлюбленный мой сошел в сад Свой, к цветникам бальзамическим, чтоб попастись в садах и собрать лилии.

3 Я принадлежу Возлюбленному моему и Возлюбленный мой - мне, Он, пасущий между лилиями. -

4 `Прекрасна ты, подруга Моя, как Фирса, величественна, как Иерусалим, грозна, как полки со знаменами.

5 Отклони от Меня очи твои, ибо они поборают Меня. Волоса твои, как стадо коз, улегшихся на Галааде.

6 Зубы твои, как стадо овец, восходящих из купели, из которых у каждой пара ягнят, и нет между ними бесплодной.

7 Виски твои, как пласт гранатового яблока, из-под покрывала твоего проявляются.

8 Есть шестьдесят цариц, и восемьдесят наложниц, и девиц бесчисленное множество.

9 Но голубица Моя, чистая Моя, есть единственная, единственная у матери своей, избранная она у родительницы своей. Видят ее девицы, и ублажают; царицы и наложницы, и восхваляют ее:

10 `Кто эта блестящая, как заря, прекрасная, как луна, светлая, как солнце, грозная, как полки с знаменами?` -

11 Сошла я в ореховый сад посмотреть на зелень при потоке, поглядеть, разцветает ли виноградная лоза, цветут ли гранатовые яблоки.

12 И, чего не ожидала, душе моей представились колесницы знаменитых в народе моем.
