Глава 6

1 О! роскошествующие на Сионе и беспечно живущие на горе Самарии, начальники первого из народов, к которым ходит дом Израилев!

2 Подите в Калне и посмотрите; а оттуда пройдите в великий Емаф и перейдите в Геф Филистимский: лучше ли они держав сих? обширнее ли пределы их пределов ваших?

3 Злосчастный день вы считаете далеким; а стул неправосудия у вас близко.

4 Возлежите на одрах слоновой кости и роскошествуете на ложах своих; и едите лучших ягнят из стада, и телят из хлева.

5 Подпеваете под звук арфы; как Давид, вымышляют себе орудия музыкальные.

6 Пьют вино из больших чаш и отличными мастями мажутся, а не скорбят о падении Иосифа.

7 За то ныне пойдут они в плен между первыми пленниками; и минет ликование роскошных.

8 Клянется Господь Иегова душею Своею; глаголет Иегова Бог воинств: Я ненавижу пышность Иакова и чертоги его презираю, и предам город и все, что наполняет его.

9 И если останется десять человек в каком-либо доме, то и сии умрут.

10 И возьмет их родственник их и сожигатель их, чтобы вынести кости из дома, и скажет тому, кто внутри дома: есть ли у тебя еще кто? Тот скажет: нет. И он скажет: молчи, ибо не время уже поминать имя Иеговы.

11 Ибо вот, Иегова повелевает; и накажет большой дом трещинами, а дом малый - щелями.

12 Бегают ли кони по скалам, орут ли там на волах? А вы суд превратили в отраву и плод правды - в полынь.

13 О! восхищающиеся не делом, говорящие: не своею ли силою приобрели мы себе рога?

14 Ибо вот, Я против вас, дом Израилев, говорит Иегова, Бог воинств, воздвигаю народ, и будет теснить вас от самого входа в Емаф до потока пустынного.

1 Woe1945 to them that are at ease7600 in Zion,6726 and trust982 in the mountain2022 of Samaria,8111 which are named5344 chief7225 of the nations,1471 to whom1992 the house1004 of Israel3478 came!935

2 Pass5674 you to Calneh,3641 and see;7200 and from there8033 go3212 you to Hamath2579 the great:7227 then go3381 down3381 to Gath1661 of the Philistines:6430 be they better2896 than4480 these428 kingdoms?4467 or their border1366 greater7227 than your border?1366

3 You that put far away5077 the evil7451 day,3117 and cause the seat7675 of violence2555 to come5066 near;5066

4 That lie7901 on beds4296 of ivory,8127 and stretch5628 themselves on their couches,6210 and eat398 the lambs3733 out of the flock,6629 and the calves5695 out of the middle8432 of the stall;4770

5 That chant6527 to the sound6310 of the viol,5035 and invent2803 to themselves1992 instruments3627 of music,7892 like David;1732

6 That drink8354 wine3196 in bowls,4219 and anoint4886 themselves with the chief7225 ointments:8081 but they are not grieved2470 for the affliction7667 of Joseph.3130

7 Therefore3651 now6258 shall they go captive1540 with the first7218 that go captive,1540 and the banquet4797 of them that stretched5628 themselves shall be removed.5493

8 The Lord136 GOD3069 has sworn7650 by himself,5315 said5002 the LORD3068 the God430 of hosts,6635 I abhor8374 the excellency1347 of Jacob,3290 and hate8130 his palaces:759 therefore will I deliver5462 up the city5892 with all4393 that is therein.4393

9 And it shall come1961 to pass, if518 there remain3498 ten6235 men582 in one259 house,1004 that they shall die.4191

10 And a man's uncle1730 shall take5375 him up, and he that burns5635 him, to bring3318 out the bones6106 out of the house,1004 and shall say559 to him that is by the sides3411 of the house,1004 Is there yet any with you? and he shall say,559 No.657 Then shall he say,559 Hold2013 your tongue:2013 for we may not make mention2142 of the name8034 of the LORD.3068

11 For, behold,2009 the LORD3068 commands,6680 and he will smite5221 the great1419 house1004 with breaches,7447 and the little6996 house1004 with clefts.1233

12 Shall horses5483 run7323 on the rock?5553 will one plow2790 there with oxen?1241 for you have turned2015 judgment4941 into gall,7219 and the fruit of righteousness6666 into hemlock:3939

13 You which rejoice8055 in a thing1697 of nothing,3808 1697 which say,559 Have we not taken3947 to us horns7161 by our own strength?2392

14 But, behold,2005 I will raise6965 up against5921 you a nation,1471 O house1004 of Israel,3478 said5002 the LORD3068 the God430 of hosts;6635 and they shall afflict3905 you from the entering935 in of Hemath2574 to the river5158 of the wilderness.6160
