Глава 17

1 Через шесть дней Иисус взял Петра, Иакова и брата его Иоанна и повел их одних на высокую гору.

2 Там весь облик Его изменился у них на глазах: от лица Его исходило сияние, словно от солнца, а одежды Его белизной лучились, как свет.

3 И явились им Моисей и Илия, они беседовали с Иисусом.

4 Тут Петр сказал Ему: «Господи! Хорошо нам здесь! Если хочешь, поставим мы на этом месте три шатра: один — Тебе, Моисею — другой и один — Илии?»

5 Он еще говорил, когда вдруг покрыло их сияющее облако. И раздался из облака голос: «Это — Сын Мой возлюбленный, в Нем радость Моя. Его слушайте!»

6 Услышав голос, ученики в страхе упали ниц.

7 Но Иисус подошел и, коснувшись их, сказал: «Вставайте! Не бойтесь!»

8 Подняв глаза, они никого уже, кроме Иисуса, не увидели.

9 А когда спускались они с горы, Иисус наказал им: «Никому о явленном вам не говорите, пока Сын Человеческий не воскреснет из мертвых».

10 Ученики спросили Его: «Почему тогда книжники говорят, что сначала должен прийти Илия?»

11 «Илия, — ответил Он, — действительно должен был прийти и всё восстановить.

12 Но скажу вам, что Илия уже приходил, однако его не узнали и поступили с ним по своему произволу. Предстоит пострадать от них и Сыну Человеческому».

13 Тогда поняли ученики, что говорил Он им об Иоанне Крестителе.

14 Когда они вернулись к людям, подошел к Иисусу человек и, упав перед Ним на колени,

15 сказал: «Господин мой, смилуйся над сыном моим! У него падучая, и он сильно мучается: часто бросается то в огонь, то в воду.

16 Я привел его к ученикам Твоим, но они не смогли его исцелить».

17 «О неверующий и развращенный род людской! — воскликнул Иисус. — Долго ли Мне еще с вами быть? Долго Мне еще вас терпеть? Приведите его сюда ко Мне!»

18 Иисус повелел бесу, и тот оставил мальчика, который в тот же миг стал здоров.

19 Позднее, когда Иисус остался один, ученики подошли к Нему и спросили: «Почему же мы не смогли изгнать его?»

20 «Слишком мало веры у вас, — ответил Он им. — Воистину, если вера ваша будет хотя бы с зерно горчичное, и вы скажете этой горе: „Передвинься отсюда туда!“ — она передвинется, и не будет ничего для вас невозможного».

22 Когда Иисус был вместе с учениками в Галилее, Он сказал им: «Предан будет Сын Человеческий в руки людей,

23 и убьют Его, а на третий день Бог воскресит Его». Глубокая печаль овладела тогда учениками.

24 Когда пришли они в Капернаум, к Петру обратились сборщики налога на Храм. Они спросили: «Не заплатит ли ваш Учитель храмовый налог?»

25 «Да», — ответил Петр. Когда он вошел в дом, Иисус встретил его вопросом: «Симон! Как ты думаешь, с кого земные цари взимают налог или подать? Со своих сыновей или с чужих людей?»

26 «С чужих», — ответил Петр. «Значит, — сказал Иисус, — сыновья свободны.

27 Но чтобы не оттолкнуть понапрасну этих людей, ступай к морю и закинь удочку. Возьми рыбу, которая попадется первой, открой ей рот, — там найдешь ты монету в четыре драхмы, — возьми ее и отдай им за нас обоих».

Chapter 17

1 AND after six days Jesus took Peter and James and his brother John, and brought them up to a high mountain alone.

2 And Jesus was transfigured before them, and his face shone like the sun, and his clothes turned white like light.

3 And there appeared to them Moses and Elijah, as they were talking with him.

4 Then Peter answered and said to Jesus, My Lord, it is better for us to remain here; and if you wish, we will make three shelters here, one for you, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah.

5 And while he was speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice came out of the cloud saying, This is my beloved Son, I am pleased with him; hear him.

6 When the disciples heard it, they threw themselves on their faces, and they were greatly frightened.

7 And Jesus came near them and touched them, and said, Arise, do not be afraid.

8 And they raised up their eyes, and they saw no man, except Jesus alone.

9 And as they were going down from the mountain, Jesus commanded them, and said to them, Do not speak of this vision in the presence of anyone, until the Son of man rises from the dead.

10 And his disciples asked him, and said, Why then do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?

11 Jesus answered and said to them, Elijah will come first, so that everything might be fulfilled.

12 But I say to you, Elijah has already come, and they did not know him, and they did to him whatever they pleased. Thus also the Son of man is bound to suffer from them.

13 Then the disciples understood that what he had told them was about John the Baptist.

14 And when they came to the people, a man approached him and knelt on his knees, and said to him,

15 My Lord, have mercy on me; my son is an epileptic and has become worse; he often falls into the fire, and often into the water.

16 And I brought him to your disciples, but they were not able to heal him.

17 Jesus answered and said, O faithless and crooked generation, how long shall I be with you? and how long shall I preach to you? bring him here to me.

18 And Jesus rebuked him, and the demon went out of him; and the boy was healed from that very hour.

19 Then the disciples came up to Jesus when he was alone, and said to him, Why could we not heal him?

20 Jesus said to them, Because of your unbelief; for truly I say to you, If there is faith in you even as a grain of mustard, you will say to this mountain, move away from here, and it will move away; and nothing would prevail over you.

21 Nevertheless this kind does not come out, except by fasting and prayer.

22 While they were returning through Galilee, Jesus said to them, The Son of man will shortly be delivered into the hands of men;

23 And they will kill him, and on the third day he will rise up. And they were very much grieved.

24 And when they came to Capernaum, those who collect two coins of silver as headtax came to Peter and said to him, Would not your master give his two coins?

25 He said to them, Yes. And when Peter entered the house, Jesus anticipated and said to him, What do you think, Simon? from whom do the kings of the earth collect custom duties and head- tax? from their sons, or from strangers?

26 Simon said to him, From strangers. Jesus said to him, Then the sons are free.

27 But so as not to offend them, go to the sea, and throw out a hook, and the first fish which comes up, open its mouth and you will find a coin; take it and give it for me and for you.

3 И явились им Моисей и Илия, они беседовали с Иисусом.	3 And there appeared to them Moses and Elijah, as they were talking with him.
4 Тут Петр сказал Ему: «Господи! Хорошо нам здесь! Если хочешь, поставим мы на этом месте три шатра: один — Тебе, Моисею — другой и один — Илии?»	4 Then Peter answered and said to Jesus, My Lord, it is better for us to remain here; and if you wish, we will make three shelters here, one for you, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah.
5 Он еще говорил, когда вдруг покрыло их сияющее облако. И раздался из облака голос: «Это — Сын Мой возлюбленный, в Нем радость Моя. Его слушайте!»	5 And while he was speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice came out of the cloud saying, This is my beloved Son, I am pleased with him; hear him.
6 Услышав голос, ученики в страхе упали ниц.	6 When the disciples heard it, they threw themselves on their faces, and they were greatly frightened.
7 Но Иисус подошел и, коснувшись их, сказал: «Вставайте! Не бойтесь!»	7 And Jesus came near them and touched them, and said, Arise, do not be afraid.
8 Подняв глаза, они никого уже, кроме Иисуса, не увидели.	8 And they raised up their eyes, and they saw no man, except Jesus alone.
9 А когда спускались они с горы, Иисус наказал им: «Никому о явленном вам не говорите, пока Сын Человеческий не воскреснет из мертвых».	9 And as they were going down from the mountain, Jesus commanded them, and said to them, Do not speak of this vision in the presence of anyone, until the Son of man rises from the dead.
10 Ученики спросили Его: «Почему тогда книжники говорят, что сначала должен прийти Илия?»	10 And his disciples asked him, and said, Why then do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?
11 «Илия, — ответил Он, — действительно должен был прийти и всё восстановить.	11 Jesus answered and said to them, Elijah will come first, so that everything might be fulfilled.
12 Но скажу вам, что Илия уже приходил, однако его не узнали и поступили с ним по своему произволу. Предстоит пострадать от них и Сыну Человеческому».	12 But I say to you, Elijah has already come, and they did not know him, and they did to him whatever they pleased. Thus also the Son of man is bound to suffer from them.
13 Тогда поняли ученики, что говорил Он им об Иоанне Крестителе.	13 Then the disciples understood that what he had told them was about John the Baptist.
14 Когда они вернулись к людям, подошел к Иисусу человек и, упав перед Ним на колени,	14 And when they came to the people, a man approached him and knelt on his knees, and said to him,
15 сказал: «Господин мой, смилуйся над сыном моим! У него падучая, и он сильно мучается: часто бросается то в огонь, то в воду.	15 My Lord, have mercy on me; my son is an epileptic and has become worse; he often falls into the fire, and often into the water.
16 Я привел его к ученикам Твоим, но они не смогли его исцелить».	16 And I brought him to your disciples, but they were not able to heal him.
17 «О неверующий и развращенный род людской! — воскликнул Иисус. — Долго ли Мне еще с вами быть? Долго Мне еще вас терпеть? Приведите его сюда ко Мне!»	17 Jesus answered and said, O faithless and crooked generation, how long shall I be with you? and how long shall I preach to you? bring him here to me.
18 Иисус повелел бесу, и тот оставил мальчика, который в тот же миг стал здоров.	18 And Jesus rebuked him, and the demon went out of him; and the boy was healed from that very hour.
19 Позднее, когда Иисус остался один, ученики подошли к Нему и спросили: «Почему же мы не смогли изгнать его?»	19 Then the disciples came up to Jesus when he was alone, and said to him, Why could we not heal him?
20 «Слишком мало веры у вас, — ответил Он им. — Воистину, если вера ваша будет хотя бы с зерно горчичное, и вы скажете этой горе: „Передвинься отсюда туда!“ — она передвинется, и не будет ничего для вас невозможного».	20 Jesus said to them, Because of your unbelief; for truly I say to you, If there is faith in you even as a grain of mustard, you will say to this mountain, move away from here, and it will move away; and nothing would prevail over you.
21 []	21 Nevertheless this kind does not come out, except by fasting and prayer.
22 Когда Иисус был вместе с учениками в Галилее, Он сказал им: «Предан будет Сын Человеческий в руки людей,	22 While they were returning through Galilee, Jesus said to them, The Son of man will shortly be delivered into the hands of men;
23 и убьют Его, а на третий день Бог воскресит Его». Глубокая печаль овладела тогда учениками.	23 And they will kill him, and on the third day he will rise up. And they were very much grieved.
24 Когда пришли они в Капернаум, к Петру обратились сборщики налога на Храм. Они спросили: «Не заплатит ли ваш Учитель храмовый налог?»	24 And when they came to Capernaum, those who collect two coins of silver as headtax came to Peter and said to him, Would not your master give his two coins?
25 «Да», — ответил Петр. Когда он вошел в дом, Иисус встретил его вопросом: «Симон! Как ты думаешь, с кого земные цари взимают налог или подать? Со своих сыновей или с чужих людей?»	25 He said to them, Yes. And when Peter entered the house, Jesus anticipated and said to him, What do you think, Simon? from whom do the kings of the earth collect custom duties and head- tax? from their sons, or from strangers?
26 «С чужих», — ответил Петр. «Значит, — сказал Иисус, — сыновья свободны.	26 Simon said to him, From strangers. Jesus said to him, Then the sons are free.
27 Но чтобы не оттолкнуть понапрасну этих людей, ступай к морю и закинь удочку. Возьми рыбу, которая попадется первой, открой ей рот, — там найдешь ты монету в четыре драхмы, — возьми ее и отдай им за нас обоих».	27 But so as not to offend them, go to the sea, and throw out a hook, and the first fish which comes up, open its mouth and you will find a coin; take it and give it for me and for you.
