Послание апостола Павла христианам в Эфесе

Глава 6

1 Вы, дети, пребывая [во Господе], послушны будьте своим родителям. Это ваш святой долг.

2 «Почитай отца своего и мать» — вот первая заповедь, содержащая в себе обещание:

3 «И будет тебе хорошо, и долго будешь жить на земле».

4 Вы же, отцы, не доводите детей своих до раздражения, но воспитывайте их, приучая с любовью к порядку, угодному Господу, и наставляя их жить по воле Его.

5 Рабы, со страхом и трепетом повинуйтесь господам, которым вы здесь, на земле, подвластны; от всего сердца повинуйтесь им, как Самому Христу,

6 не с показным усердием, не заискивая перед ними, — как рабы Христа от души исполняйте волю Божью,

7 служа усердно и земным своим господам, как Господу, а не как людям.

8 Знайте, что добро, содеянное всяким человеком, будь он раб или свободный, тем же самым обернется для него от Господа.

9 А вы, владеющие рабами, обращайтесь с ними так же, как ожидаете то от них; перестаньте им угрожать и помните, что у них и у вас один Господь на Небесах и что нет у Него любимцев.

10 И напоследок скажу: будьте сильными в Господе, не собою будьте сильны, а Его великою мощью.

11 Облекитесь во всеоружие Божие, чтобы могли вы противостоять всем козням дьявола.

12 Ведь бороться нам приходится не с людьми, а с силами потусторонними, с властями, с тиранами, что правят тьмой этого мира, со всеми злыми духами из мира небесного.

13 Потому возложите на себя Божии доспехи, чтобы в день злой дать отпор врагу и выстоять, одержав во всём победу.

14 Стойте же твердо, препоясавшись истиной и облекшись в броню праведности,

15 обуйте ноги ваши в готовность возвещать Благую Весть о мире.

16 И всякий раз не забывайте брать с собою щит веры, которым сможете угасить все пылающие стрелы злого духа.

17 И шлем спасения возьмите, и даруемый Духом меч — Слово Божие.

18 Молитесь же, как Дух вас к тому побуждает, во всякое время всякой молитвой и прошением. Для сего бодрствуйте и в просьбах за весь народ Божий неутомимыми будьте.

19 И обо мне молитесь, чтобы даны мне были, когда я говорю, нужные слова и мог я смело провозглашать тайну Вести Благой,

20 послом которой остаюсь и в узах; молитесь, чтоб возвещал я смело, как то и подобает мне.

21 О моих обстоятельствах и занятиях вы узнаете от Тихика, возлюбленного брата нашего и верного служителя в Господе, он всё вам расскажет,

22 его я для того именно и посылаю к вам, чтобы вы знали всё о нас и чтобы он утешил ваши сердца.

23 Мир всем братьям, любовь и вера от Бога Отца и Господа Иисуса Христа.

24 Да будет благодать со всеми любящими Господа нашего Иисуса Христа неизменно.

Ephesians

Chapter 6

1 CHILDREN, obey your parents in our LORD, for this is right.

2 This is the first commandment with promise: Honour thy father and mother;

3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.

4 And parents, do not provoke your children to anger; but bring them up in the discipline and teaching of our LORD.

5 Servants, be obedient to your masters according to the flesh, with reverence and trembling, and with a sincere heart, as to Christ;

6 Not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but as the servants of Christ doing the will of God from the heart.

7 And serve well with your whole soul, with love, as to our LORD, and not to men:

8 Knowing that whatever good thing any man does, the same shall he receive from our LORD, whether he be a slave or a freeman.

9 Also, masters, do the same things for your servants, forgiving their faults, because you also have your own Master in heaven; and there is no respect of persons with him.

10 From henceforth, my brethren, be strong in our LORD, and in the power of his might.

11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12 For your conflict is not only with flesh and blood, but also with the angels, and with powers, with the rulers of this world of darkness, and with the evil spirits under the heavens.

13 Wherefore put you on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to meet the evil one, and being prepared you shall prevail.

14 Arise, therefore, gird your loins with truth, and put on the breastplate of righteousness;

15 And have your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16 Together with these, take for yourselves the shield of faith, for with it you shall be able to quench all the flaming darts of the wicked.

17 And put on the helmet of salvation, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

18 And pray always, with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and in that prayer be watchful at all times, praying constantly and supplicating for all the saints,

19 And for me also, that words may be given to me as soon as I open my mouth, so that I may boldly preach the mystery of the gospel,

20 For which I am a messenger in chains: that I may speak openly about it, as I ought to speak.

21 In order that you also may know my affairs, and what I do, Tychicus, a beloved brother and a faithful minister in our LORD, shall make known to you all things;

22 Him I have sent to you for the same purpose, that you may know how I am, and that he may comfort your hearts.

23 Peace be to our brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father, and from our LORD Jesus Christ.

24 Grace be with all them that love our LORD Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.

4 Вы же, отцы, не доводите детей своих до раздражения, но воспитывайте их, приучая с любовью к порядку, угодному Господу, и наставляя их жить по воле Его.

4 And parents, do not provoke your children to anger; but bring them up in the discipline and teaching of our LORD.

5 Рабы, со страхом и трепетом повинуйтесь господам, которым вы здесь, на земле, подвластны; от всего сердца повинуйтесь им, как Самому Христу,

5 Servants, be obedient to your masters according to the flesh, with reverence and trembling, and with a sincere heart, as to Christ;

6 не с показным усердием, не заискивая перед ними, — как рабы Христа от души исполняйте волю Божью,

6 Not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but as the servants of Christ doing the will of God from the heart.

7 служа усердно и земным своим господам, как Господу, а не как людям.

7 And serve well with your whole soul, with love, as to our LORD, and not to men:

8 Знайте, что добро, содеянное всяким человеком, будь он раб или свободный, тем же самым обернется для него от Господа.

8 Knowing that whatever good thing any man does, the same shall he receive from our LORD, whether he be a slave or a freeman.

9 А вы, владеющие рабами, обращайтесь с ними так же, как ожидаете то от них; перестаньте им угрожать и помните, что у них и у вас один Господь на Небесах и что нет у Него любимцев.

9 Also, masters, do the same things for your servants, forgiving their faults, because you also have your own Master in heaven; and there is no respect of persons with him.

10 И напоследок скажу: будьте сильными в Господе, не собою будьте сильны, а Его великою мощью.

10 From henceforth, my brethren, be strong in our LORD, and in the power of his might.

11 Облекитесь во всеоружие Божие, чтобы могли вы противостоять всем козням дьявола.

11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12 Ведь бороться нам приходится не с людьми, а с силами потусторонними, с властями, с тиранами, что правят тьмой этого мира, со всеми злыми духами из мира небесного.

12 For your conflict is not only with flesh and blood, but also with the angels, and with powers, with the rulers of this world of darkness, and with the evil spirits under the heavens.

13 Потому возложите на себя Божии доспехи, чтобы в день злой дать отпор врагу и выстоять, одержав во всём победу.

13 Wherefore put you on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to meet the evil one, and being prepared you shall prevail.

14 Стойте же твердо, препоясавшись истиной и облекшись в броню праведности,

14 Arise, therefore, gird your loins with truth, and put on the breastplate of righteousness;

15 обуйте ноги ваши в готовность возвещать Благую Весть о мире.

15 And have your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16 И всякий раз не забывайте брать с собою щит веры, которым сможете угасить все пылающие стрелы злого духа.

16 Together with these, take for yourselves the shield of faith, for with it you shall be able to quench all the flaming darts of the wicked.

17 И шлем спасения возьмите, и даруемый Духом меч — Слово Божие.

18 Молитесь же, как Дух вас к тому побуждает, во всякое время всякой молитвой и прошением. Для сего бодрствуйте и в просьбах за весь народ Божий неутомимыми будьте.

19 И обо мне молитесь, чтобы даны мне были, когда я говорю, нужные слова и мог я смело провозглашать тайну Вести Благой,

20 послом которой остаюсь и в узах; молитесь, чтоб возвещал я смело, как то и подобает мне.

20 For which I am a messenger in chains: that I may speak openly about it, as I ought to speak.

21 О моих обстоятельствах и занятиях вы узнаете от Тихика, возлюбленного брата нашего и верного служителя в Господе, он всё вам расскажет,

21 In order that you also may know my affairs, and what I do, Tychicus, a beloved brother and a faithful minister in our LORD, shall make known to you all things;

22 его я для того именно и посылаю к вам, чтобы вы знали всё о нас и чтобы он утешил ваши сердца.

22 Him I have sent to you for the same purpose, that you may know how I am, and that he may comfort your hearts.

23 Мир всем братьям, любовь и вера от Бога Отца и Господа Иисуса Христа.

23 Peace be to our brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father, and from our LORD Jesus Christ.

24 Да будет благодать со всеми любящими Господа нашего Иисуса Христа неизменно.

24 Grace be with all them that love our LORD Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.
