Глава 4

1 Ангел, прежде говоривший со мной, возвратился и разбудил меня, как обычно будят от глубокого сна.

2 Ангел спросил меня: «Что ты видишь?», я ответил: «Светильник вижу, весь из золота, сверху на нем чаша и семь лампад на семи ветвях, исходящих от чаши.

3 Еще две оливы вижу, справа и слева от чаши».

4 И я спросил говорившего со мной ангела: «Что это, господин мой?»

5 «Ты и вправду не понимаешь, что это означает?» — сказал он. «Нет, господин мой», — ответил я.

6 Тогда ангел объяснил мне: «Это слово ГОСПОДНЕ Зоровавелю, и значит оно: „Не воинской силой и не человеческой мощью, но Духом Моим“, — говорит ГОСПОДЬ Воинств. —

7 Какой бы ты ни была великой, гора на пути Зоровавеля, осядешь ты — равниной станешь! Ибо надлежит ему завершить строительство и положить последний замковый камень при громком ликовании людей: „Благоволит, благоволит к нему Бог!“»

8 Было мне слово ГОСПОДНЕ:

9 «Руками Зоровавеля положено основание этому Храму, эти же руки завершат его. (Тогда поймете вы, что Сам ГОСПОДЬ Воинств послал меня к вам.)

10 И кто осмеливался пренебрегать тем, казалось бы, незначительным днем, в который работа была начата, даже они будут радоваться, когда увидят в руке Зоровавеля отвес». («А те семь глаз, что видел ты прежде на камне, — это очи ГОСПОДА, что осматривают всю землю».)

11 Тогда я спросил у ангела: «Что это за две оливы справа и слева от светильника?»

12 И еще один вопрос обратил к нему: «Что это за ветви олив, изливающие золото, елей свой, по золотым ветвям светильника?»

13 Ангел ответил вопросом: «Так ты и этого не знаешь?» Я отвечал: «Не знаю, господин мой».

14 Тогда он объяснил мне: «Это двое елеем помазанных, предстоящих Владыке всей земли».

Zechariah

Chapter 4

1 AND the angel who talked with me came back and waked me, as a man is wakened out of his sleep,

2 And he said to me, What do you see? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl on the top of it, and seven lamps on it, and seven mouths to the seven lamps which are on the top of it;

3 And two olive trees by it, one on the right side of the bowl and the other on its left side.

4 So I answered and spoke to the angel who talked with me, saying, What are these, my lord?

5 Then the angel who talked with me answered and said to me, Do you not know what these are? and I said, No, my lord, I do not know.

6 Then he said to me, This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel, saying, Not by power nor by might, but by my Spirit, says the LORD of hosts.

7 Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become like a plain; and he shall bring forth the headstone of equity and of mercy.

8 Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

9 The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundations of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and you shall know that the LORD of hosts has sent me to you.

10 For who has despised the day of small things? For they shall look and shall see the plummet in the hands of Zerubbabel. These are the seven eyes of the LORD, which look over the whole earth.

11 Then I answered and said to him, What are these two olive trees on the right side of the candlestick and on its left side?

12 And I answered the second time and said to him, What are these two olive branches which are beside the two golden pipes which pour the golden oil out of themselves?

13 And he said to me, Do you not know what these are? And I said, No, my lord.

14 Then said he, These are the two anointed ones who stand by the LORD of the whole earth.

4 И я спросил говорившего со мной ангела: «Что это, господин мой?»

4 So I answered and spoke to the angel who talked with me, saying, What are these, my lord?
