Глава 19

1 «Возвысь голос и оплачь правителей Израиля,

2 изреки: „Мать твоя была львицей. Жила она среди львов! Среди львов молодых детенышей своих растила.

3 Взрастила она одного из них, стал он львом молодым, растерзывать добычу научился, пожирать людей.

4 Прослышали о нем народы, устроили ему западню и поймали, крюками, что в нос продевают, уволокли его в Египет.

5 Увидела львица — нечего ждать, никакой надежды, взяла другого из своих львят и взрастила его, сделав львом молодым.

6 Красовался он среди львов, став львом молодым, растерзывать добычу научился, пожирать людей.

7 Разорял он их твердыни, города опустошал. Замирала земля и ее обитатели от его грозного рыка.

8 Тогда поднялись против него народы окрестных стран, накинули на него сеть, поймали в западню.

9 Крюками затащили его в клетку, привели к царю вавилонскому, в крепость посадили, чтоб не слышен был его грозный рык в горах израильских.

10 Мать твоя была подобна лозе виноградной в винограднике, посаженной у потока. Плодовита она была, ветвиста от обилия воды.

11 Из самой крепкой ветви ее сделали посох правителю, высоко она поднималась, раскинув свою густую листву. И все видели ее высоту и множество ее ветвей.

12 Но в гневе вырвали ее и бросили на землю, восточный ветер иссушил ее плоды; обломанные, засохли ее крепкие ветви, и огонь поглотил их.

13 Пересажена она теперь в пустыню, в землю сухую и безводную.

14 Вспыхнул огонь на стволе и ветвях ее, пожрал ее плоды, и не осталось ни одной крепкой ветви властителю на посох“». Таков плач — стал он погребальной песнью.

3 And she brought5927 up one259 of her whelps:1482 it became1961 a young3715 lion,3715 and it learned3925 to catch2963 the prey;2964 it devoured398 men.120

4 The nations1471 also heard8085 of him; he was taken8610 in their pit,7845 and they brought935 him with chains2397 to the land776 of Egypt.4714

5 Now when she saw7200 that she had waited,3176 and her hope8615 was lost,6 then she took3947 another259 of her whelps,1482 and made7760 him a young3715 lion.3715

6 And he went1980 up and down among8432 the lions,738 he became1961 a young3715 lion,3715 and learned3925 to catch2963 the prey,2964 and devoured398 men.120

7 And he knew3045 their desolate490 palaces, and he laid waste2717 their cities;5892 and the land776 was desolate,3456 and the fullness4393 thereof, by the noise6963 of his roaring.7581

8 Then the nations1471 set5414 against5921 him on every5437 side5439 from the provinces,4082 and spread6566 their net7568 over5921 him: he was taken8610 in their pit.7845

9 And they put5414 him in ward5474 in chains,2397 and brought935 him to the king4428 of Babylon:894 they brought935 him into holds,4686 that his voice6963 should no3808 more5750 be heard8085 on the mountains2022 of Israel.3478

10 Your mother517 is like a vine1612 in your blood,1818 planted8362 by the waters:4325 she was fruitful6509 and full of branches6058 by reason of many7227 waters.4325

11 And she had1961 strong5797 rods4294 for the scepters7626 of them that bore4910 rule,4910 and her stature6967 was exalted1361 among5921 996 the thick5688 branches,5688 and she appeared7200 in her height1363 with the multitude7230 of her branches.1808

12 But she was plucked5428 up in fury,2534 she was cast7993 down to the ground,776 and the east6921 wind7307 dried3001 up her fruit:6529 her strong5797 rods4294 were broken6561 and withered;3001 the fire784 consumed398 them.

13 And now6258 she is planted8362 in the wilderness,4057 in a dry6723 and thirsty6772 ground.776

14 And fire784 is gone3318 out of a rod4294 of her branches,905 which has devoured398 her fruit,6529 so that she has no3808 strong5797 rod4294 to be a scepter7626 to rule.4910 This1931 is a lamentation,7015 and shall be for a lamentation.7015
