1 Дождя просите у ГОСПОДА в пору поздних, весенних дождей — это ГОСПОДЬ собирает грозовые тучи, ливневыми дождями одаряет землю, растениями на полях — всех живущих.
2 «А идолы ложь предвещают, видения гадателей — обман, рассказывают они сны придуманные, утешают пустыми словами. Вот и скитаются люди, словно овцы, что остались без пастыря.
3 Потому велик гнев Мой на пастырей, за вожаков стада Я возьмусь». ГОСПОДЬ Воинств позаботится о пастве Своей, о потомках Иуды, и уподобит их великолепному коню боевому.
4 И будет от рода Иуды камень краеугольный, от него и опора шатра, от него же и лук боевой, и всякий правитель, Богом призванный, от Иуды произойдет.
5 Все вместе они героями будут в бою, втопчут в грязь любого; бесстрашно сражаться станут — ведь с ними ГОСПОДЬ! — и посрамят они скачущих на конях.
6 «Укреплю дом Иуды, Иосифа дом спасу, пожалев их, возвращу из плена. Станут они жить так, будто и не отвергал Я их никогда, ведь Я ГОСПОДЬ, их Бог, на молитвы их отвечу!
7 Будут тогда ефремляне из плена идти, как могучие воины, будут веселы их сердца, как от вина, увидев это, возвеселятся их дети — ГОСПОДЬ будет радостью их сердца.
8 Свистом их позову и соберу их, ведь Я уже совершил их избавление, они будут, как прежде, весьма многочисленны.
9 Хотя и рассеял Я Свой народ среди других народов, но и там, на чужбине, они будут помнить обо Мне, потому и выживут они и дети их и домой вернутся.
10 Из земли египетской их назад возвращу, из Ассирии соберу, в Гиладе и на Ливане расселять их буду, пока места для них не останется.
11 Пройдут они сквозь море страданий, преодолевая и усмиряя волны его; все глубины Нила пересохнут. Гордыню Ассирии унижу, отниму у Египта жезл, власти лишу.
12 Но сила Израиля будет в ГОСПОДЕ, с именем Его будут жить», — это ГОСПОДА вещее слово.

2 For the idols8655 have spoken1696 vanity,205 and the diviners7080 have seen2372 a lie,8267 and have told1696 false7723 dreams;2472 they comfort5162 in vain:1892 therefore59213651 they went5265 their way as a flock,6629 they were troubled,6031 because3588 there was no639 shepherd.7462
3 My anger639 was kindled2734 against5921 the shepherds,7462 and I punished6485 the goats:6260 for the LORD3068 of hosts6635 has visited6485 his flock5739 the house1004 of Judah,3063 and has made7760 them as his goodly1935 horse5483 in the battle.4421
4 Out of him came3318 forth3318 the corner,6438 out of him the nail,3489 out of him the battle4421 bow,7198 out of him every3605 oppressor5065 together.3162
5 And they shall be as mighty1368 men, which tread947 down their enemies in the mire2916 of the streets2351 in the battle:4421 and they shall fight,3898 because3588 the LORD3068 is with them, and the riders7392 on horses5483 shall be confounded.3001
6 And I will strengthen1396 the house1004 of Judah,3063 and I will save3467 the house1004 of Joseph,3130 and I will bring7725 them again7725 to place3427 them; for I have mercy7355 on them: and they shall be as though834 I had not cast2186 them off: for I am the LORD3068 their God,430 and will hear6030 them.
7 And they of Ephraim669 shall be like a mighty1368 man, and their heart3820 shall rejoice8055 as through wine:3196 yes, their children1121 shall see7200 it, and be glad;8056 their heart3820 shall rejoice1523 in the LORD.3068
8 I will hiss8319 for them, and gather6908 them; for I have redeemed6299 them: and they shall increase7235 as they have increased.7235
9 And I will sow2232 them among the people:5971 and they shall remember2142 me in far4801 countries; and they shall live2421 with their children,1121 and turn7725 again.7725
10 I will bring7725 them again7725 also out of the land776 of Egypt,4714 and gather6908 them out of Assyria;804 and I will bring935 them into413 the land776 of Gilead1568 and Lebanon;3844 and place shall not be found4672 for them.
11 And he shall pass5674 through the sea3220 with affliction,6869 and shall smite5221 the waves1530 in the sea,3220 and all3605 the deeps4688 of the river2975 shall dry3001 up: and the pride1347 of Assyria804 shall be brought3381 down,3381 and the scepter7626 of Egypt4714 shall depart5493 away.
12 And I will strengthen1396 them in the LORD;3068 and they shall walk1980 up and down in his name,8034 said5002 the LORD.3068

4 И будет от рода Иуды камень краеугольный, от него и опора шатра, от него же и лук боевой, и всякий правитель, Богом призванный, от Иуды произойдет.

5 Все вместе они героями будут в бою, втопчут в грязь любого; бесстрашно сражаться станут — ведь с ними ГОСПОДЬ! — и посрамят они скачущих на конях.

6 «Укреплю дом Иуды, Иосифа дом спасу, пожалев их, возвращу из плена. Станут они жить так, будто и не отвергал Я их никогда, ведь Я ГОСПОДЬ, их Бог, на молитвы их отвечу!
6 And I will strengthen1396 the house1004 of Judah,3063 and I will save3467 the house1004 of Joseph,3130 and I will bring7725 them again7725 to place3427 them; for I have mercy7355 on them: and they shall be as though834 I had not cast2186 them off: for I am the LORD3068 their God,430 and will hear6030 them.
7 Будут тогда ефремляне из плена идти, как могучие воины, будут веселы их сердца, как от вина, увидев это, возвеселятся их дети — ГОСПОДЬ будет радостью их сердца.
