LeviticusChapter 20 |
|
1 AND the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, |
|
2 Say to the children of Israel, Any man of the children of Israel or of the proselytes who sojourn in Israel who shall cast any of his semen into an alien woman, he shall surely be put to death; the people of the land shall stone him with stones. |
|
3 And I will pour out my anger against that man and will cut him off from among his people; because he has cast his semen into an alien woman to defile my sanctuary and to profane my holy name. |
|
4 And if the people of the land do in any way ignore the offense of the man who has cast of his semen into an alien woman, that they may not kill him, |
|
5 Then I will set my anger against that man and against his family, and will cut him off and all who go astray after him, because they go astray after alien women from among their people. |
|
6 And the person that goes after diviners and soothsayers to go astray after them, I will pour out my anger against that person and will cut him off from among his people. |
|
7 Sanctify yourselves, therefore, and be holy; for I am the LORD your God. |
|
8 You shall keep my commandments and do them; I am the LORD who sanctifies you. |
|
9 And he who curses his father or his mother shall be surely put to death; he has cursed his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon him. |
|
10 And the man who commits adultery with another man's wife, even he who commits adultery with his neighbor's wife, both the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death. |
|
11 And the man who lies with his father's wife has uncovered his father's nakedness; both of them shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. |
|
12 And if a man lies with his daughter-in-law, both of them shall surely be put to death, because they have committed a sin; their blood shall be upon them. |
|
13 If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. |
|
14 And if a man takes a wife and her mother, it is wickedness; they shall be burned with fire, both he and they, that there may be no wickedness among you. |
|
15 And if a man lies with a beast, he shall surely be put to death and the beast shall be stoned. |
|
16 And if a woman approaches any beast and lies with it, you shall kill the woman and the beast; they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. |
|
17 And if a man shall take his sister, his father's daughter or his mother's daughter, and be intimate with her and she be intimate with him, it is a shameful thing; and they shall be cut off in the sight of their people; he has uncovered his sister's nakedness; they shall suffer for their iniquity. |
|
18 And if a man shall lie with a woman having her menstruation and shall be intimate with her, he has uncovered her fountain and she has uncovered the fountain of her blood; and both of them shall be cut off from among their people. |
|
19 And you shall not be intimate with your mother's sister nor your father's sister; for he uncovers the nakedness of his near kin; they shall suffer for their iniquity. |
|
20 And if a man shall lie with his uncle's wife, he has uncovered his uncle's nakedness; they shall suffer for their sin; they shall die childless. |
|
21 And if a man shall take his brother's wife, it is an iniquity, for he has uncovered his brother's nakedness; they shall be childless. |
|
22 You shall therefore keep all my commandments and all my judgments and do them, that the land whither I bring you to dwell therein may not be bereaved of you. |
|
23 And you shall not walk in the manners of the nations which I am casting out before you; for they committed all these things, and therefore I was grieved by them. |
|
24 But I have said to you, You shall inherit their land and I will give it to you to possess it, a land flowing with milk and honey; I am the LORD your God who have separated you from other peoples. |
|
25 You shall therefore make a distinction between clean beasts and unclean, and between clean fowls and unclean; and you shall not make yourselves abominable by beast or by fowl or by any manner of living thing that creeps on the ground, which I have separated from you as unclean. |
|
26 And you shall be holy to me; for I the LORD am holy and have separated you from other peoples, that you should be mine. |
|
27 A man or a woman who is a diviner, or soothsayer shall surely be put to death; they shall stone them with stones; their blood shall be upon them. |

2 „І скажеш до Ізраїлевих синів: Кожен чоловік із Ізраїлевих синів та з прихо́дька, що мешкає в Ізраїлі, який дасть із насіння свого Молохові, буде конче забитий, — наро́д кра́ю заки́дає його камінням. |
|
3 А Я зверну лице Своє проти того чоловіка, і ви́нищу його з-поміж наро́ду його, бо з насіння свого дав він Моло́хові, щоб занечи́стити святиню Мою, збезче́стити Моє святе Ймення. |
|
4 А якщо справді люди того краю сховають свої очі від того чоловіка, коли він дасть із насіння свого Молохові, щоб не забити його, |
|
5 то Я зверну́ Своє лице проти того чоловіка та проти роди́ни його, — і ви́нищу його й усіх, що блу́дять за ним, блу́дячи за Молохом, з-посеред наро́ду його. |
|
6 А душа, що звертається до померлих ду́хів та до чарівників, щоб блуди́ти за ними, — то Я зверну Своє лице проти тієї душі, — і винищу того з-посеред наро́ду його. |
|
7 І ви будете освячуватися, і будьте святі, бо Я — Господь, Бог ваш! |
|
8 І ви будете держати постанови Мої, і будете виконувати їх. Я — Господь, що освячує вас! |
|
9 Бо кожен чоловік, що прокляне́ свого батька чи матір свою, буде конче забитий, — батька свого чи матір свою він прокляв, кров його на ньому! |
|
10 А кожен, хто буде чинити пере́люб із чиєю жінкою, хто буде чинити перелюб із жінкою свого ближнього, — буде конче забитий перелю́бник та перелю́бниця. |
|
11 I А хто буде лежати із жінкою ба́тька свого, він відкрив наготу свого батька, — будуть конче забиті обо́є вони, кров їхня на них! |
|
12 А хто буде лежати з невісткою своєю, — будуть конче забиті обо́є вони, гидо́ту вчинили вони, кров їхня на них! |
|
13 А хто лежа́тиме з чоловіком як із жінкою, — гидоту вчинили обоє вони, — будуть конче забиті, кров їхня на них! |
|
14 А хто ві́зьме жінку й матір її, — гидо́та це, в огні спалять його та її, і не буде кровозмішання серед вас! |
|
15 А хто парува́тиметься з скоти́ною, — буде конче забитий, і скоти́ну ту заб'єте. |
|
16 А жінка, що набли́зиться до якої скотини, щоб лежати з нею, то заб'єш ту жінку та скотину ту, — будуть конче забиті вони, кров їхня на них! |
|
17 А хто візьме сестру свою, дочку батька свого або дочку матері своєї, і побачить наготу її, а вона побачить наготу його, — га́ньба це! І будуть вони знищені на оча́х синів їхнього наро́ду, — він наготу сестри своєї відкрив, він понесе провину свою! |
|
18 А хто буде лежати із жінкою, ча́су хвороби місячним, і відкриє її наготу, — він джерело́ її обнажи́в, а вона відкрила джерело́ своєї крови, — то будуть вони обоє знищені з-посеред народу свого! |
|
19 І не відкриєш наготи́ сестри матері своєї й сестри батька свого, бо однокровну свою обнажи́в би ти, — вони понесу́ть провину свою. |
|
20 А хто буде лежати з тіткою своєю, — він відкрив наготу́ дядька свого, гріх свій вони понесуть, — бездітні помруть! |
|
21 А хто ві́зьме жінку брата свого, — це нечисть, він відкрив наготу брата свого, — бездітні будуть. |
|
22 І ви будете додержувати всі постанови Мої й усі уста́ви Мої, і будете виконувати їх, — і не ви́ригне вас земля та, куди Я впроваджаю вас, щоб сиділи ви в ній. |
|
23 І не бу́дете ви ходити за звичаями люду, що Я виганяю перед вами, бо все те робили вони, — і Я їх обри́див. |
|
24 І сказав Я до вас: ви вспадкуєте їхню зе́млю, а Я дам її вам на спа́дщину її, землю, що плине молоком та медом. Я — Господь, Бог ваш, що відділив вас від тих наро́дів! |
|
25 І ви відділяйте між худобою чистою та нечистою, і між пта́ством нечистим та чистим, і не занечищуйте душ своїх худобою й птаством, і всім, що роїться на землі, що Я відділив для вас, як нечисте. |
|
26 І будьте для мене святі, бо святий Я, Господь. І Я відділю вас від тих наро́дів, щоб ви були Мої. |
|
27 А чоловік або жінка, коли будуть вони виклика́ти духа мерців або ворожити, — будуть конче забиті, камінням заки́дають їх, кров їхня на них!“ |

2 „І скажеш до Ізраїлевих синів: Кожен чоловік із Ізраїлевих синів та з прихо́дька, що мешкає в Ізраїлі, який дасть із насіння свого Молохові, буде конче забитий, — наро́д кра́ю заки́дає його камінням. |
|
3 And I will pour out my anger against that man and will cut him off from among his people; because he has cast his semen into an alien woman to defile my sanctuary and to profane my holy name. |
3 А Я зверну лице Своє проти того чоловіка, і ви́нищу його з-поміж наро́ду його, бо з насіння свого дав він Моло́хові, щоб занечи́стити святиню Мою, збезче́стити Моє святе Ймення. |
|

4 А якщо справді люди того краю сховають свої очі від того чоловіка, коли він дасть із насіння свого Молохові, щоб не забити його, |
|
5 Then I will set my anger against that man and against his family, and will cut him off and all who go astray after him, because they go astray after alien women from among their people. |
5 то Я зверну́ Своє лице проти того чоловіка та проти роди́ни його, — і ви́нищу його й усіх, що блу́дять за ним, блу́дячи за Молохом, з-посеред наро́ду його. |

6 And the person that goes after diviners and soothsayers to go astray after them, I will pour out my anger against that person and will cut him off from among his people. |
6 А душа, що звертається до померлих ду́хів та до чарівників, щоб блуди́ти за ними, — то Я зверну Своє лице проти тієї душі, — і винищу того з-посеред наро́ду його. |

7 Sanctify yourselves, therefore, and be holy; for I am the LORD your God. |
7 І ви будете освячуватися, і будьте святі, бо Я — Господь, Бог ваш! |
|
8 You shall keep my commandments and do them; I am the LORD who sanctifies you. |
8 І ви будете держати постанови Мої, і будете виконувати їх. Я — Господь, що освячує вас! |
|
9 And he who curses his father or his mother shall be surely put to death; he has cursed his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon him. |
9 Бо кожен чоловік, що прокляне́ свого батька чи матір свою, буде конче забитий, — батька свого чи матір свою він прокляв, кров його на ньому! |
|
10 And the man who commits adultery with another man's wife, even he who commits adultery with his neighbor's wife, both the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death. |
10 А кожен, хто буде чинити пере́люб із чиєю жінкою, хто буде чинити перелюб із жінкою свого ближнього, — буде конче забитий перелю́бник та перелю́бниця. |

11 And the man who lies with his father's wife has uncovered his father's nakedness; both of them shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. |
11 I А хто буде лежати із жінкою ба́тька свого, він відкрив наготу свого батька, — будуть конче забиті обо́є вони, кров їхня на них! |
|
12 And if a man lies with his daughter-in-law, both of them shall surely be put to death, because they have committed a sin; their blood shall be upon them. |
12 А хто буде лежати з невісткою своєю, — будуть конче забиті обо́є вони, гидо́ту вчинили вони, кров їхня на них! |
|
13 If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. |
13 А хто лежа́тиме з чоловіком як із жінкою, — гидоту вчинили обоє вони, — будуть конче забиті, кров їхня на них! |
|
14 And if a man takes a wife and her mother, it is wickedness; they shall be burned with fire, both he and they, that there may be no wickedness among you. |
14 А хто ві́зьме жінку й матір її, — гидо́та це, в огні спалять його та її, і не буде кровозмішання серед вас! |
|
15 And if a man lies with a beast, he shall surely be put to death and the beast shall be stoned. |
15 А хто парува́тиметься з скоти́ною, — буде конче забитий, і скоти́ну ту заб'єте. |
|

16 А жінка, що набли́зиться до якої скотини, щоб лежати з нею, то заб'єш ту жінку та скотину ту, — будуть конче забиті вони, кров їхня на них! |

17 And if a man shall take his sister, his father's daughter or his mother's daughter, and be intimate with her and she be intimate with him, it is a shameful thing; and they shall be cut off in the sight of their people; he has uncovered his sister's nakedness; they shall suffer for their iniquity. |
17 А хто візьме сестру свою, дочку батька свого або дочку матері своєї, і побачить наготу її, а вона побачить наготу його, — га́ньба це! І будуть вони знищені на оча́х синів їхнього наро́ду, — він наготу сестри своєї відкрив, він понесе провину свою! |
|

18 А хто буде лежати із жінкою, ча́су хвороби місячним, і відкриє її наготу, — він джерело́ її обнажи́в, а вона відкрила джерело́ своєї крови, — то будуть вони обоє знищені з-посеред народу свого! |

19 And you shall not be intimate with your mother's sister nor your father's sister; for he uncovers the nakedness of his near kin; they shall suffer for their iniquity. |
19 І не відкриєш наготи́ сестри матері своєї й сестри батька свого, бо однокровну свою обнажи́в би ти, — вони понесу́ть провину свою. |

20 And if a man shall lie with his uncle's wife, he has uncovered his uncle's nakedness; they shall suffer for their sin; they shall die childless. |
20 А хто буде лежати з тіткою своєю, — він відкрив наготу́ дядька свого, гріх свій вони понесуть, — бездітні помруть! |
|

21 А хто ві́зьме жінку брата свого, — це нечисть, він відкрив наготу брата свого, — бездітні будуть. |

25 І ви відділяйте між худобою чистою та нечистою, і між пта́ством нечистим та чистим, і не занечищуйте душ своїх худобою й птаством, і всім, що роїться на землі, що Я відділив для вас, як нечисте. |

26 And you shall be holy to me; for I the LORD am holy and have separated you from other peoples, that you should be mine. |
26 І будьте для мене святі, бо святий Я, Господь. І Я відділю вас від тих наро́дів, щоб ви були Мої. |
|
27 A man or a woman who is a diviner, or soothsayer shall surely be put to death; they shall stone them with stones; their blood shall be upon them. |
27 А чоловік або жінка, коли будуть вони виклика́ти духа мерців або ворожити, — будуть конче забиті, камінням заки́дають їх, кров їхня на них!“ |
