Chapter 39

1 AND of the blue and purple and scarlet material, they made vestments for the service, to minister in the sanctuary, and made the holy vestments for Aaron, as the LORD commanded Moses.

2 And they made the ephod of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.

3 And they did beat the gold into thin plates, and cut it into wires, to be worked in the blue, and in the purple, and in the scarlet material, and in the fine linen, with artistic workmanship.

4 They made shoulder-pieces for it, to join it together; by the two edges was it joined together.

5 And the embroidered girdle of the ephod that was upon it was of the same material, according to the work thereof; of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet material, and fine twined linen; as the LORD commanded Moses.

6 And they made the onyx stones inclosed and set in work of gold, engraved, as signets are engraved, with the names of the sons of Israel.

7 And they put them on the shoulder-pieces of the ephod, that they should be stones for a memorial for the sons of Israel; as the LORD commanded Moses.

8 And they made the breastplate, the work of an artist, like the work of the ephod; of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet material, and fine twined linen.

9 It was foursquare; they made the breastplate double; a span was its length and a span its breadth, being doubled.

10 And they set it in four rows of stones; the first row was a sardius, a topaz, and an emerald; this was the first row.

11 And the second row, a carbuncle, a sapphire, and a jasper.

12 And the third row, a jacinth, a carnelian, and an amethyst.

13 And the fourth row, a beryl, an onyx, and a jasper; they were inclosed and set in the work of gold in their inclosings.

14 And the stones were according to the names of the sons of Israel, twelve, according to their names, engraved like the engravings of signets, everyone with his name, according to the twelve tribes.

15 And they made upon the breastplate chains at the two ends, of braided work of pure gold.

16 And they made two settings of gold and two gold rings; and put the two rings on the two ends of the breastplate.

17 And they fastened the two braided chains of gold to the two rings on the ends of the breastplate.

18 And the two ends of the two braided chains they fastened to the two settings, and put them on the shoulder-pieces of the ephod, in the front of it.

19 And they made two rings of gold, and put them on the two ends of the breastplate, on the border of it, which was on the side of the ephod from within.

20 And they made two other golden rings, and put them on the two shoulder-pieces of the ephod from within, toward the front of it, over against the other coupling thereof, above the embroidered girdle of the ephod.

21 And they did bind the breastplate by its rings to the rings of the ephod with a cord of blue, that it might be above the embroidered girdle of the ephod and that the breastplate might not be loosed from the ephod; as the LORD commanded Moses.

22 And they made the robe of the ephod of fine woven work, all of blue.

23 And the opening of the robe was within it, as the hole of a coat of mail, with a binding round about the opening, that it might not be torn.

24 And they made on the hems of the robe pomegranates of blue and purple and scarlet material and fine twined linen.

25 And they made bells of pure gold, and fastened the bells between the pomegranates on the hem of the robe, round about between the pomegranates;

26 A bell of gold and a pomegranate, and a bell of gold and a pomegranate, round about the hem of the robe to minister in; as the LORD commanded Moses.

27 And they made coats of fine linen of woven work for Aaron and for his sons,

28 And a mitre of fine linen, and goodly bonnets of fine linen, and breeches of fine linen,

29 And a girdle of fine twined linen, and blue and purple and scarlet needlework; as the LORD commanded Moses,

30 And they made the plate of the holy crown of pure gold, and wrote upon it an inscription like to the engraving of a signet, HOLINESS TO THE LORD.

31 And they tied to it a cord of blue to fasten it over the mitre; as the LORD commanded Moses.

32 Thus all the work of the tabernacle of the congregation was finished; and the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did they.

33 And they brought the tabernacle to Moses, the tent and all its vessels, its rings, its clasps, its boards, its pins, its bars, its pillars, and its sockets,

34 And the covering of rams' skins dyed red, and the covering of badgers' skins, and the veil for the covering of the door,

35 The ark of the testimony, and its poles, and the mercy seat,

36 The table, and all its vessels, and the shewbread,

37 The pure candlestick, with its lamps, and with the lamps to be set in order, and all its vessels, and the oil for light,

38 And the golden altar, and the anointing oil, and the sweet incense, and the hanging for the tabernacle door,

39 The altar of brass, and its grate of brass, its poles, and all its vessels, the laver and its base,

40 The hangings of the court, its pillars, its sockets, and the hanging for the court gate, its cords, its pins, and all the vessels of the service of the tabernacle of the congregation,

41 The vestments of the service to minister in the holy place, and the holy vestments for Aaron the priest, and vestments for his sons, to minister in the priest's office.

42 According to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so the children of Israel made all the work.

43 And Moses looked upon all the work, and, behold, they had done it as the LORD had commanded Moses, even so had they done it; and Moses blessed them.

4 Сделав для ефода наплечники, они привязали их к обеим полам ефода.

5 Мастера соткали перевязь такую же, как и ефод, и прикрепили её к ефоду. Они взяли золотые нити, тонкий лён и голубую, пурпурную и красную пряжу, как Господь повелел Моисею.

6 Затем мастера вставили камни оникса в золотые оправы, написали на этих камнях имена сыновей Израиля,

7 а потом прикрепили эти камни к наплечникам ефода. Эти камни должны напоминать Богу об израильском народе; всё было сделано так, как Господь повелел Моисею.

8 Потом мастера сделали наперсник судный искусной работы, такой же работы, как и ефод: его сделали из золотых нитей, тонкого льна и голубой, пурпурной и красной пряжи.

9 Наперсник судный был сложен вдвое, так что получался квадрат длиной и шириной в 22,5 сантиметра.

10 Затем мастера поместили на наперсник четыре ряда красивых камней: в первом ряду были рубин, топаз и берилл,

11 во втором ряду были бирюза, сапфир и изумруд,

12 в третьем ряду были яхонт, агат и аметист,

13 в четвёртом были хризолит, оникс и яспис. Все эти камни были оправлены в золото,

14 всего же этих камней на наперснике было двенадцать — по одному на каждого из сыновей Израиля. На каждом из этих камней было вырезано как на печати имя одного из сыновей Израиля.

15 Мастера сделали для наперсника судного две цепочки витой работы из чистого золота.

16 Отлив два золотых кольца, они прикрепили их к концам наперсника судного, а к двум золотым оправам

17 прикрепили две золотые цепочки с двумя кольцами на концах наперсника.

18 Затем они прикрепили другой конец цепочек к обеим оправам наплечников, а оправы прикрепили к передней стороне ефода.

19 Потом они сделали ещё два золотых кольца и прикрепили их к двум другим концам наперсника судного по внутреннему краю, который прилегает к ефоду.

20 Мастера прикрепили также два золотых кольца к наплечникам снизу, с лицевой стороны ефода, у застёжки над перевязью ефода.

21 Затем, взяв голубые ленты, они привязали кольца наперсника судного к кольцам ефода, чтобы наперсник был у самой перевязи и плотно прилегал к ефоду. Всё было сделано так, как повелел Господь.

22 Затем мастера сделали к ефоду одеяние из голубой ткани, сотканной искусным мастером.

23 Сделав посередине его отверстие для головы, они обшили края отверстия материей, чтобы оно не рвалось.

24 После этого, взяв тонкий лён, голубую, пурпурную и красную пряжу, они сделали из нитей гранаты и подвесили эти гранаты по подолу одеяния.

25 Потом они сделали из чистого золота колокольчики и подвесили их между гранатами по подолу одеяния.

26 По всему подолу одеяния были колокольчики и гранаты: между каждыми двумя гранатами было по колокольчику. Это одеяние было для священника, чтобы надевать во время служения, как Господь повелел Моисею.

27 Искусные мастера соткали рубашки для Аарона и его сыновей. Эти рубашки были сделаны из тонкого льна.

28 Мастера сделали кидар из тонкого льна и сделали головные повязки и нижнюю одежду из тонкого льна.

29 Потом они сделали из тонкого льна и голубой, пурпурной и красной пряжи перевязь с вышитыми на материале узорами, как повелел Моисею Господь.

30 После этого мастера выковали из чистого золота полоску для святого венца и вырезали на золоте слова: «Святыня Господняя».

31 Прикрепив золотую полоску к голубой ленте, они повязали ленту вокруг кидара, как повелел Господь Моисею.

32 И вот работа над священным шатром была закончена. Израильский народ сделал всё так, как Господь повелел Моисею.

33 Они показали священный шатёр Моисею, показали ему шатёр и всё, что в нём, показали ему кольца, брусья, стяги, столбы и основания,

34 показали покрытие шатра, сделанное из окрашенных в красный цвет бараньих шкур, и показали покрытие, сделанное из тонкой кожи, которая закрывала завесу.

35 Израильтяне показали Моисею ковчег Соглашения и крышку ковчега,

36 стол и всё, что на нём, особый хлеб,

37 показали светильник из чистого золота и лампады на нём, показали масло и все принадлежности для лампад,

38 золотой алтарь, елей помазания, показали благовонное курение, завесу, скрывающую вход в шатёр,

39 показали бронзовый алтарь и бронзовую решётку, шесты, чтобы носить алтарь, показали все принадлежности алтаря, чашу и её подставку.

40 Они показали Моисею стену завес вокруг двора вместе со столбами и их основаниями, завесу, скрывавшую вход во двор, все предметы внутри священного шатра, то есть шатра собрания.

41 Затем они показали Моисею тканые одежды, которые священники носят в святом месте, а также особые одежды для священника Аарона и его сыновей, которые они должны были надевать во время служения.

42 Народ Израиля сделал всю эту работу так, как Господь повелел Моисею.

43 Моисей внимательно осмотрел всю работу и увидел, что она сделана так, как повелел Господь, и благословил их.

8 Потом мастера сделали наперсник судный искусной работы, такой же работы, как и ефод: его сделали из золотых нитей, тонкого льна и голубой, пурпурной и красной пряжи.

9 It was foursquare; they made the breastplate double; a span was its length and a span its breadth, being doubled.

9 Наперсник судный был сложен вдвое, так что получался квадрат длиной и шириной в 22,5 сантиметра.

15 And they made upon the breastplate chains at the two ends, of braided work of pure gold.

16 And they made two settings of gold and two gold rings; and put the two rings on the two ends of the breastplate.

17 And they fastened the two braided chains of gold to the two rings on the ends of the breastplate.

18 And the two ends of the two braided chains they fastened to the two settings, and put them on the shoulder-pieces of the ephod, in the front of it.

19 And they made two rings of gold, and put them on the two ends of the breastplate, on the border of it, which was on the side of the ephod from within.

20 And they made two other golden rings, and put them on the two shoulder-pieces of the ephod from within, toward the front of it, over against the other coupling thereof, above the embroidered girdle of the ephod.

21 And they did bind the breastplate by its rings to the rings of the ephod with a cord of blue, that it might be above the embroidered girdle of the ephod and that the breastplate might not be loosed from the ephod; as the LORD commanded Moses.

21 Затем, взяв голубые ленты, они привязали кольца наперсника судного к кольцам ефода, чтобы наперсник был у самой перевязи и плотно прилегал к ефоду. Всё было сделано так, как повелел Господь.

22 And they made the robe of the ephod of fine woven work, all of blue.

25 And they made bells of pure gold, and fastened the bells between the pomegranates on the hem of the robe, round about between the pomegranates;

26 A bell of gold and a pomegranate, and a bell of gold and a pomegranate, round about the hem of the robe to minister in; as the LORD commanded Moses.

26 По всему подолу одеяния были колокольчики и гранаты: между каждыми двумя гранатами было по колокольчику. Это одеяние было для священника, чтобы надевать во время служения, как Господь повелел Моисею.

27 And they made coats of fine linen of woven work for Aaron and for his sons,

28 And a mitre of fine linen, and goodly bonnets of fine linen, and breeches of fine linen,

32 Thus all the work of the tabernacle of the congregation was finished; and the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did they.

32 И вот работа над священным шатром была закончена. Израильский народ сделал всё так, как Господь повелел Моисею.

33 And they brought the tabernacle to Moses, the tent and all its vessels, its rings, its clasps, its boards, its pins, its bars, its pillars, and its sockets,

33 Они показали священный шатёр Моисею, показали ему шатёр и всё, что в нём, показали ему кольца, брусья, стяги, столбы и основания,

41 The vestments of the service to minister in the holy place, and the holy vestments for Aaron the priest, and vestments for his sons, to minister in the priest's office.

41 Затем они показали Моисею тканые одежды, которые священники носят в святом месте, а также особые одежды для священника Аарона и его сыновей, которые они должны были надевать во время служения.

42 According to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so the children of Israel made all the work.

42 Народ Израиля сделал всю эту работу так, как Господь повелел Моисею.

43 And Moses looked upon all the work, and, behold, they had done it as the LORD had commanded Moses, even so had they done it; and Moses blessed them.
