Chapter 31

1 THE LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

2 See, I have called by name Bezaliel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah;

3 And I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom and in understanding, and in knowledge and in all manner of workmanship,

4 To teach cunning works, to do work in gold and in silver and in brass

5 And in the art of cutting of stones to be set and in the carving of timber and in all manner of workmanship.

6 And I, behold, have appointed with him Elihab, the son of Ahisamakh, of the tribe of Dan; and I have put wisdom in the heart of every skillful man that he may make all things which I have commanded you:

7 The tabernacle of the congregation, and the ark of the testimony, and the mercy seat that is thereupon, and all the vessels of the tabernacle,

8 And the table and all its vessels, and the pure candlestick with all its instruments, and the altar of incense,

9 And the altar of burnt offering with all its vessels, and the laver and its base,

10 And the vestments for the service, and the holy vestments for Aaron the priest, and the vestments for his sons, to minister to me in the priest's office,

11 And the anointing oil, and the sweet incense for the holy place; according to all that I have commanded you, shall they do.

12 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

13 Speak to the children of Israel, saying, My sabbaths you must keep; for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that you may know that I am the LORD your God who sanctifies you.

14 You shall keep the sabbath; for it is holy to you; every one who defiles it shall surely be put to death; and whoever shall do any work on it, that soul shall surely be cut off from among his people.

15 Six days you shall do work; but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD; whosoever does any work on the sabbath day shall surely be put to death.

16 Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath to the LORD to observe the sabbath throughout all their generations for a perpetual covenant.

17 It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever; for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth and the seas and all that are therein, and on the seventh day he ceased from work and rested.

18 And he gave to Moses, when he had made an end of talking with him on mount Sinai, two tablets of testimony, the stone tablets written by the finger of God.

1 Затем Господь сказал Моисею:

2 «Я назначаю Веселиила, сына Урии, сына Хура, из рода Иуды, чтобы он исполнил для Меня особый труд.

3 Я наполнил Веселиила Духом Божьим, наделив его знанием, различными навыками и умением исполнить всякую работу.

4 Он обладает мастерством делать вещи из золота, серебра и бронзы,

5 умеет гранить и оправлять красивые камни, а также работать по дереву, и всякое дело подвластно ему.

6 Я избираю Аголиава, сына Ахисамаха из семейства Дана, в помощники Веселиилу и даю также умение всем остальным мастерам, чтобы они смогли сделать все те предметы, о которых Я дал тебе наказ:

7 Шатёр собрания, ковчег Соглашения, крышку ковчега,

8 стол и всё, что на нём, светильник из чистого золота и все его принадлежности, алтарь для принесения благовонного курения,

9 алтарь для сжигания приношений и все предметы для алтаря, чашу и подставку под неё,

10 особые одежды для священника Аарона и его сыновей во время священнослужения,

11 благоуханный елей помазания для святого места. Эти мастера должны сделать всё так, как Я тебе повелел».

12 После этого Господь обратился к Моисею с такими словами:

13 «Скажи израильтянам: вы должны следовать правилу о Моих особых днях отдыха, так как эти дни будут знаком между Мной и вами на все поколения, чтобы вы знали, что Я, Господь, сделал вас Своим священным народом.

14 Сделай субботний день своим особым днём. Если же кто считает субботний день таким же днём, как остальные, он должен быть предан смерти; и каждый, кто работает по субботам, должен быть изгнан из своего народа.

15 Для работы есть другие шесть дней недели, седьмой же день — особый день отдыха, день, священный для Господа, и каждый, кто работает в субботу, должен быть предан смерти.

16 Народ Израиля обязан помнить субботний день, должен сделать его особым днём и соблюдать его во веки веков. Это соглашение между ним и Мной останется навечно.

17 Субботний день будет знамением для Меня и израильского народа навечно, потому что Господь трудился шесть дней и сотворил небо и землю, на седьмой же день Он отдыхал и покоился».

18 И когда Господь закончил разговор с Моисеем на горе Синай, Он дал ему два плоских камня, на которых перстом Божьим было начертано Соглашение.

3 Я наполнил Веселиила Духом Божьим, наделив его знанием, различными навыками и умением исполнить всякую работу.

4 Он обладает мастерством делать вещи из золота, серебра и бронзы,

5 умеет гранить и оправлять красивые камни, а также работать по дереву, и всякое дело подвластно ему.

6 Я избираю Аголиава, сына Ахисамаха из семейства Дана, в помощники Веселиилу и даю также умение всем остальным мастерам, чтобы они смогли сделать все те предметы, о которых Я дал тебе наказ:

11 благоуханный елей помазания для святого места. Эти мастера должны сделать всё так, как Я тебе повелел».

12 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

12 После этого Господь обратился к Моисею с такими словами:

13 Speak to the children of Israel, saying, My sabbaths you must keep; for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that you may know that I am the LORD your God who sanctifies you.

13 «Скажи израильтянам: вы должны следовать правилу о Моих особых днях отдыха, так как эти дни будут знаком между Мной и вами на все поколения, чтобы вы знали, что Я, Господь, сделал вас Своим священным народом.

14 You shall keep the sabbath; for it is holy to you; every one who defiles it shall surely be put to death; and whoever shall do any work on it, that soul shall surely be cut off from among his people.

14 Сделай субботний день своим особым днём. Если же кто считает субботний день таким же днём, как остальные, он должен быть предан смерти; и каждый, кто работает по субботам, должен быть изгнан из своего народа.

15 Six days you shall do work; but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD; whosoever does any work on the sabbath day shall surely be put to death.

15 Для работы есть другие шесть дней недели, седьмой же день — особый день отдыха, день, священный для Господа, и каждый, кто работает в субботу, должен быть предан смерти.

16 Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath to the LORD to observe the sabbath throughout all their generations for a perpetual covenant.

16 Народ Израиля обязан помнить субботний день, должен сделать его особым днём и соблюдать его во веки веков. Это соглашение между ним и Мной останется навечно.

17 It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever; for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth and the seas and all that are therein, and on the seventh day he ceased from work and rested.

17 Субботний день будет знамением для Меня и израильского народа навечно, потому что Господь трудился шесть дней и сотворил небо и землю, на седьмой же день Он отдыхал и покоился».

18 And he gave to Moses, when he had made an end of talking with him on mount Sinai, two tablets of testimony, the stone tablets written by the finger of God.

18 И когда Господь закончил разговор с Моисеем на горе Синай, Он дал ему два плоских камня, на которых перстом Божьим было начертано Соглашение.
