2 For then1893 would they not3756 have ceased3973 302 to be offered?4374 because that the3588 worshipers3000 once530 purged2508 should have had2192 no more2089 3367 conscience4893 of sins.266

3 But235 in1722 those846 sacrifices there is a remembrance again364 made of sins266 every year.2596 1763

30 For1063 we know1492 him that hath said,2036 Vengeance1557 belongeth unto me,1698 I1473 will recompense,467 saith3004 the Lord.2962 And2532 again,3825 The Lord2962 shall judge2919 his848 people.2992

31 It is a fearful thing5398 to fall1706 into1519 the hands5495 of the living2198 God.2316

32 But1161 call to remembrance363 the3588 former4386 days,2250 in1722 which,3739 after ye were illuminated,5461 ye endured5278 a great4183 fight119 of afflictions;3804

33 Partly,5124 3303 whilst ye were made a gazingstock2301 both5037 by reproaches3680 and2532 afflictions;2347 and1161 partly,5124 whilst ye became1096 companions2844 of them that were so used.390 3779

34 For1063 ye had compassion4834 2532 of me in my3450 bonds,1199 and2532 took4327 joyfully3326 5479 the3588 spoiling724 of your5216 goods,5224 knowing1097 in1722 yourselves1438 that ye have2192 in1722 heaven3772 a better2909 and2532 an enduring3306 substance.5223

35 Cast not away577 3361 therefore3767 your5216 confidence,3954 which3748 hath2192 great3173 recompense of reward.3405

36 For1063 ye have2192 need5532 of patience,5281 that,2443 after ye have done4160 the3588 will2307 of God,2316 ye might receive2865 the3588 promise.1860

37 For1063 yet,2089 a little while,3397 3745 3745 and he that shall come2064 will come,2240 and2532 will not3756 tarry.5549

38 Now1161 the3588 just1342 shall live2198 by1537 faith:4102 but2532 if1437 any man draw back,5288 my3450 soul5590 shall have no pleasure2106 3756 in1722 him.846

1 Бо Зако́н, мавши тільки тінь майбутнього добра́, а не самий о́браз речей, тими самими жертвами, що за́вжди щороку прино́сяться, не може ніко́ли вдоскона́лити тих, хто приступає.

2 Інакше вони перестали б прино́ситись, бо ті, хто служить, очищені раз, уже б не мали жодної свідо́мости гріхів.

3 Але в них спо́мин про гріхи буває щороку,

4 бо тож неможливе, щоб кров биків та козлів здіймала гріхи!

5 Тому́ то, вхо́дячи в світ, Він говорить: „Жертви й прино́шення Ти не схотів, але тіло Мені приготува́в.

6 Цілопа́лення й жертви поку́тної Ти не жадав.

7 Тоді Я сказав: Ось іду́, — в звої книжки про Мене написано, щоб волю чини́ти Твою, Боже“!

8 Він вище сказав, що „жертви й при́носу, та цілопа́лення й жертви поку́тної, — які за Зако́ном прино́сяться, — Ти не жадав і Собі не вподо́бав“.

9 Пото́му сказав: „Ось іду, щоб волю Твою чини́ти, Боже“. Відміняє Він перше, щоб друге поставити.

10 У цій волі ми освячені жертвоприно́шенням тіла Ісуса Христа один раз.

11 І кожен священик щоденно стоїть, слу́жачи, і часто приносить жертви ті самі, що ніко́ли не можуть зняти гріхів.

12 А Він за гріхи світу приніс жертву один раз, і наза́вжди „по Божій правиці засів“,

13 далі чекаючи, „аж вороги Його бу́дуть покладені за підніжка Його ніг“.

14 Бо жертвоприно́шенням одним вдоскона́лив Він тих, хто освячується.

15 Свідкує ж і Дух Святий нам, як говорить:

16 „Оце заповіт, що його по цих днях встановля́ю Я з ними, говорить Господь, — Закони Свої Я дам в їхні серця́, і в їхніх думка́х напишу́ їх.

17 А їхніх гріхів та несправедливостей їхніх Я більш не згадаю“!

18 А де їхнє відпущення, там нема вже жертвоприно́шення за гріхи.

19 Отож, браття, ми маємо відвагу вхо́дити до святині кров'ю Ісусовою,

20 ново́ю й живою дорогою, яку нам обнови́в Він через завісу, цебто через тіло Своє,

21 маємо й Великого Священика над домом Божим, —

22 то приступі́мо з щирим серцем, у повноті́ віри, окропи́вши серця́ від сумління лукавого та обмивши тіла́ чистою водою!

23 Трима́ймо непохи́тне визна́ння надії, вірний бо Той, Хто обіцяв.

24 І уважаймо один за одни́м для заохо́ти до любови й до добрих учинків.

25 Не кидаймо збору свого, як то зви́чай у деяких, але заохочуймося, і тим більше, скільки більше ви бачите, що зближається день той.

26 Бо як ми грішимо́ самові́льно, одержавши пізна́ння правди, то вже за гріхи не знахо́диться жертви,

27 а страшливе якесь сподіва́ння су́ду та гнів палю́чий, що має пожерти противників.

28 Хто відкидає Зако́на Мойсея, такий немилосердно вмирає „при двох чи трьох свідках“, —

29 скільки ж більшої му́ки, — доду́муєтеся? — заслуговує той, хто потоптав Сина Божого, і хто кров заповіту, що нею освячений, за звичайну вважав, і хто Духа благодаті зневажив!

30 Бо знаємо Того, Хто сказав: „Мені помста належить, Я відплачу́, говорить Господь“. І ще: „Господь буде судити наро́да Свого“!

31 Страшна́ річ — упасти в руки Бога Живого!

32 Згадайте ж про перші дні ваші, як ви просвітилися й витерпіли запеклу боротьбу стражда́нь.

33 Ви були́ то видо́вищем зневаги й знуща́ння, то були́ учасниками тих, що жили́ так.

34 Ви бо страждали й з ув'язнененими, і грабу́нок свого майна́ прийняли́ з потіхою, відаючи, що маєте в небі для себе майно немину́ще та краще.

35 Тож не відкидайте відваги своєї, бо має велику нагоро́ду вона.

36 Бо вам терпеливість потрібна, щоб Божу волю вчинити й прийняти обітницю.

37 Бо ще „мало, дуже мало, і Той, хто має прийти, при́йде й бари́тись не бу́де!“

38 А „праведний житиме вірою“. І: „Коли захитається він, то душа Моя його не вподо́бає“.

39 Ми ж не з тих, хто хитається на заги́біль, але віруємо на спасі́ння душі.

1 Бо Зако́н, мавши тільки тінь майбутнього добра́, а не самий о́браз речей, тими самими жертвами, що за́вжди щороку прино́сяться, не може ніко́ли вдоскона́лити тих, хто приступає.

2 For then1893 would they not3756 have ceased3973 302 to be offered?4374 because that the3588 worshipers3000 once530 purged2508 should have had2192 no more2089 3367 conscience4893 of sins.266

2 Інакше вони перестали б прино́ситись, бо ті, хто служить, очищені раз, уже б не мали жодної свідо́мости гріхів.

3 But235 in1722 those846 sacrifices there is a remembrance again364 made of sins266 every year.2596 1763

3 Але в них спо́мин про гріхи буває щороку,

8 Він вище сказав, що „жертви й при́носу, та цілопа́лення й жертви поку́тної, — які за Зако́ном прино́сяться, — Ти не жадав і Собі не вподо́бав“.

9 Пото́му сказав: „Ось іду, щоб волю Твою чини́ти, Боже“. Відміняє Він перше, щоб друге поставити.

12 А Він за гріхи світу приніс жертву один раз, і наза́вжди „по Божій правиці засів“,

13 далі чекаючи, „аж вороги Його бу́дуть покладені за підніжка Його ніг“.

17 А їхніх гріхів та несправедливостей їхніх Я більш не згадаю“!

18 Now1161 where3699 remission859 of these5130 is, there is no more3765 offering4376 for4012 sin.266

18 А де їхнє відпущення, там нема вже жертвоприно́шення за гріхи.

19 Having2192 therefore,3767 brethren,80 boldness3954 to enter into1519 1529 the3588 holiest39 by1722 the3588 blood129 of Jesus,2424

19 Отож, браття, ми маємо відвагу вхо́дити до святині кров'ю Ісусовою,

25 Не кидаймо збору свого, як то зви́чай у деяких, але заохочуймося, і тим більше, скільки більше ви бачите, що зближається день той.

26 Бо як ми грішимо́ самові́льно, одержавши пізна́ння правди, то вже за гріхи не знахо́диться жертви,

27 а страшливе якесь сподіва́ння су́ду та гнів палю́чий, що має пожерти противників.

31 Страшна́ річ — упасти в руки Бога Живого!

32 Згадайте ж про перші дні ваші, як ви просвітилися й витерпіли запеклу боротьбу стражда́нь.

33 Partly,5124 3303 whilst ye were made a gazingstock2301 both5037 by reproaches3680 and2532 afflictions;2347 and1161 partly,5124 whilst ye became1096 companions2844 of them that were so used.390 3779

33 Ви були́ то видо́вищем зневаги й знуща́ння, то були́ учасниками тих, що жили́ так.

34 Ви бо страждали й з ув'язнененими, і грабу́нок свого майна́ прийняли́ з потіхою, відаючи, що маєте в небі для себе майно немину́ще та краще.

35 Тож не відкидайте відваги своєї, бо має велику нагоро́ду вона.

38 А „праведний житиме вірою“. І: „Коли захитається він, то душа Моя його не вподо́бає“.

39 But1161 we2249 are2070 not3756 of them who draw back5289 unto1519 perdition;684 but235 of them that believe4102 to the saving1519 4047 of the soul.5590
