1 And it came to pass1961 in the twelfth8147 6240 year,8141 in the twelfth8147 6240 month,2320 in the first259 day of the month,2320 that the word1697 of the LORD3068 came1961 unto413 me, saying,559

2 Son1121 of man,120 take up5375 a lamentation7015 for5921 Pharaoh6547 king4428 of Egypt,4714 and say559 unto413 him, Thou art like1819 a young lion3715 of the nations,1471 and thou859 art as a whale8577 in the seas:3220 and thou camest forth1518 with thy rivers,5104 and troubledst1804 the waters4325 with thy feet,7272 and fouledst7511 their rivers.5104

3 Thus3541 saith559 the Lord136 GOD;3069 I will therefore spread out6566 853 my net7568 over5921 thee with a company6951 of many7227 people;5971 and they shall bring thee up5927 in my net.2764

4 Then will I leave5203 thee upon the land,776 I will cast thee forth2904 upon5921 the open6440 field,7704 and will cause all3605 the fowls5775 of the heaven8064 to remain7931 upon5921 thee, and I will fill7646 the beasts2416 of the whole3605 earth776 with4480 thee.

5 And I will lay5414 853 thy flesh1320 upon5921 the mountains,2022 and fill4390 the valleys1516 with thy height.7419

6 I will also water8248 with thy blood4480 1818 the land776 wherein thou swimmest,6824 even to413 the mountains;2022 and the rivers650 shall be full4390 of4480 thee.

7 And when I shall put thee out,3518 I will cover3680 the heaven,8064 and make the stars thereof dark;6937 853 3556 I will cover3680 the sun8121 with a cloud,6051 and the moon3394 shall not3808 give215 her light.216

8 All3605 the bright216 lights3974 of heaven8064 will I make dark6937 over5921 thee, and set5414 darkness2822 upon5921 thy land,776 saith5002 the Lord136 GOD.3069

9 I will also vex3707 the hearts3820 of many7227 people,5971 when I shall bring935 thy destruction7667 among the nations,1471 into5921 the countries776 which834 thou hast not3808 known.3045

10 Yea, I will make many people amazed8074 5971 7227 at5921 thee, and their kings4428 shall be horribly afraid8175 8178 for5921 thee, when I shall brandish5774 my sword2719 before5921 6440 them; and they shall tremble2729 at every moment,7281 every man376 for his own life,5315 in the day3117 of thy fall.4658

11 For3588 thus3541 saith559 the Lord136 GOD;3069 The sword2719 of the king4428 of Babylon894 shall come upon935 thee.

12 By the swords2719 of the mighty1368 will I cause thy multitude1995 to fall,5307 the terrible6184 of the nations,1471 all3605 of them: and they shall spoil7703 853 the pomp1347 of Egypt,4714 and all3605 the multitude1995 thereof shall be destroyed.8045

13 I will destroy6 also853 all3605 the beasts929 thereof from beside4480 5921 the great7227 waters;4325 neither3808 shall the foot7272 of man120 trouble1804 them any more,5750 nor3808 the hooves6541 of beasts929 trouble1804 them.

14 Then227 will I make their waters deep,8257 4325 and cause their rivers5104 to run1980 like oil,8081 saith5002 the Lord136 GOD.3069

15 When I shall make5414 853 the land776 of Egypt4714 desolate,8077 and the country776 shall be destitute8074 of that whereof it was full,4480 4393 when I shall smite5221 853 all3605 them that dwell3427 therein, then shall they know3045 that3588 I589 am the LORD.3068

16 This1931 is the lamentation7015 wherewith they shall lament6969 her: the daughters1323 of the nations1471 shall lament6969 her: they shall lament6969 for her, even for5921 Egypt,4714 and for5921 all3605 her multitude,1995 saith5002 the Lord136 GOD.3069

17 It came to pass1961 also in the twelfth8147 6240 year,8141 in the fifteenth2568 6240 day of the month,2320 that the word1697 of the LORD3068 came1961 unto413 me, saying,559

18 Son1121 of man,120 wail5091 for5921 the multitude1995 of Egypt,4714 and cast them down,3381 even her, and the daughters1323 of the famous117 nations,1471 unto413 the nether parts8482 of the earth,776 with854 them that go down3381 into the pit.953

19 Whom4480 4310 dost thou pass in beauty?5276 go down,3381 and be thou laid7901 with854 the uncircumcised.6189

20 They shall fall5307 in the midst8432 of them that are slain2491 by the sword:2719 she is delivered5414 to the sword:2719 draw4900 her and all3605 her multitudes.1995

21 The strong410 among the mighty1368 shall speak1696 to him out of the midst4480 8432 of hell7585 with854 them that help5826 him: they are gone down,3381 they lie7901 uncircumcised,6189 slain2491 by the sword.2719

22 Asshur804 is there8033 and all3605 her company:6951 his graves6913 are about5439 him: all3605 of them slain,2491 fallen5307 by the sword: 2719

23 Whose834 graves6913 are set5414 in the sides3411 of the pit,953 and her company6951 is1961 round about5439 her grave:6900 all3605 of them slain,2491 fallen5307 by the sword,2719 which834 caused5414 terror2851 in the land776 of the living.2416

24 There8033 is Elam5867 and all3605 her multitude1995 round about5439 her grave,6900 all3605 of them slain,2491 fallen5307 by the sword,2719 which834 are gone down3381 uncircumcised6189 into413 the nether parts8482 of the earth,776 which834 caused5414 their terror2851 in the land776 of the living;2416 yet have they borne5375 their shame3639 with854 them that go down3381 to the pit.953

25 They have set5414 her a bed4904 in the midst8432 of the slain2491 with all3605 her multitude:1995 her graves6913 are round about5439 him: all3605 of them uncircumcised,6189 slain2491 by the sword:2719 though3588 their terror2851 was caused5414 in the land776 of the living,2416 yet have they borne5375 their shame3639 with854 them that go down3381 to the pit:953 he is put5414 in the midst8432 of them that be slain.2491

26 There8033 is Meshech,4902 Tubal,8422 and all3605 her multitude:1995 her graves6913 are round about5439 him: all3605 of them uncircumcised,6189 slain2490 by the sword,2719 though3588 they caused5414 their terror2851 in the land776 of the living.2416

27 And they shall not3808 lie7901 with854 the mighty1368 that are fallen5307 of the uncircumcised,4480 6189 which834 are gone down3381 to hell7585 with their weapons3627 of war:4421 and they have laid5414 853 their swords2719 under8478 their heads,7218 but their iniquities5771 shall be1961 upon5921 their bones,6106 though3588 they were the terror2851 of the mighty1368 in the land776 of the living.2416

28 Yea, thou859 shalt be broken7665 in the midst8432 of the uncircumcised,6189 and shalt lie7901 with854 them that are slain2491 with the sword.2719

29 There8033 is Edom,123 her kings,4428 and all3605 her princes,5387 which834 with their might1369 are laid5414 by854 them that were slain2491 by the sword:2719 they1992 shall lie7901 with854 the uncircumcised,6189 and with854 them that go down3381 to the pit.953

30 There8033 be the princes5257 of the north,6828 all3605 of them, and all3605 the Zidonians,6722 which834 are gone down3381 with854 the slain;2491 with their terror2851 they are ashamed954 of their might;4480 1369 and they lie7901 uncircumcised6189 with854 them that be slain2491 by the sword,2719 and bear5375 their shame3639 with854 them that go down3381 to the pit.953

31 Pharaoh6547 shall see7200 them, and shall be comforted5162 over5921 all3605 his multitude,1995 even Pharaoh6547 and all3605 his army2428 slain2491 by the sword,2719 saith5002 the Lord136 GOD.3069

32 For3588 I have caused5414 853 my terror2851 in the land776 of the living:2416 and he shall be laid7901 in the midst8432 of the uncircumcised6189 with854 them that are slain2491 with the sword,2719 even Pharaoh6547 and all3605 his multitude,1995 saith5002 the Lord136 GOD.3069

1 І сталося за дванадцятого року, дванадцятого місяця, третього дня місяця, було́ мені слово Господнє таке:

2 „Сину лю́дський, здійми пісню жало́бную на фараона, єгипетського царя, та й скажеш йому: Левчуко́ві з наро́дів подібний ти був, а тепер ти мов мо́рська потво́ра, — випри́скуєш воду по ріках своїх, і скаламу́чуєш воду ногами своїми, боло́тиш ти їхні річки́!

3 Отак Господь Бог промовляє: Але сітку Свою розтягну́ Я на тебе через збори числе́нних наро́дів, — і тебе Своїм не́водом ви́тягну!

4 І викину зра́зу на землю тебе, і кину тебе Я на поле широке, і над тобою спочи́не всяке птаство небесне, і тобою наси́чу звіри́ну всієї землі.

5 І дам твоє м'ясо на го́ри, а трупом твоїм Я долини напо́вню.

6 І землю, де пли́ваєш ти, аж до гір напою́ її кров'ю твоєю, тобою напо́вняться рі́чища.

7 А коли Я тебе погашу́, то небо закрию, а зо́рі його позате́мнюю, сонце — хмарою вкрию його, а місяць не буде світити свого світла.

8 Всі світи́ла, що світять на небі, — позате́мнюю їх над тобою, і дам темно́ту понад краєм твоїм, говорить Господь Бог!

9 І занепоко́ю Я серце числе́нних наро́дів, коли вість рознесу́ про руїну твою між наро́дами аж до країв, яких ти не знав.

10 І остовпі́ють числе́нні наро́ди з-за тебе, а їхні царі затремтя́ть через тебе в страху́, як буду маха́ти мечем Своїм Я перед їхнім обличчям, і тремтітиме кожен щохвилі за душу свою в дні упадку твого́.

11 Бо так Господь Бог промовляє: Меч царя вавилонського при́йде на тебе!

12 Мечами хоробрих Я порозкида́ю твоє многолю́дство. Усі вони — наси́льники наро́дів, і гордість Єгипту понищать вони, і все многолю́дство його буде ви́гублене.

13 І ви́гублю ввесь його скот при во́дах великих, і не буде вже їх каламу́тити лю́дська нога, і копи́то скотини не буде вже їх каламу́тити.

14 Тоді їхні води очи́щу, а їхні річки́ попрова́джу, неначе оливу, говорить Господь Бог.

15 Коли оберну́ Я єгипетський край на спусто́шення, і край опусто́шений буде від усього, що в нім, коли Я поб'ю́ всіх тих, що заме́шкують в ньому, то пізнають вони, що Я — то Госпо́дь!

16 Оце пісня жало́бна, і будуть жало́бно співати її, до́чки наро́дів будуть співати жало́бно її, про Єгипет та про все многолю́дство його будуть жало́бно співати її, говорить Господь Бог“.

17 І сталося за дванадцятого року, п'ятнадцятого дня місяця, було мені слово Господнє таке:

18 „Сину лю́дський, — жало́бно заголоси про многолю́дство Єгипту, і скинь його, його та дочок поту́жних наро́дів до підзе́много кра́ю із тими, хто сходить в могилу!

19 Від ко́го ти став приємні́ший? Зійди й поклади́сь з необрі́занцями!

20 Попа́дють серед пробитих мечем, — меч даний на те, із ним ляжуть його всі народи.

21 Будуть йому говорити сильніші з хоробрих з-посе́ред шео́лу із помічника́ми: Посхо́дили, полягали ці необрі́занці, побиті мечем:

22 Там Ашшур і всі збори його, навколо нього — гро́би його, всі побиті вони, від меча всі попа́дали,

23 що були його гро́би найглибше в могилі, і був його полк біля гро́бу його, — всі побиті вони, від меча всі попа́дали, що ши́рили жах по кра́ю живих.

24 Там Елам та ввесь на́товп його коло гро́бу його, — всі побиті вони, від меча всі попа́дали, що зійшли необрі́занцями до підзе́много кра́ю, що ши́рили жах свій по кра́ю живих, і поне́сли ганьбу свою з тими, хто схо́дить в могилу.

25 Дали́ йому ложе посеред побитих зо всім многолю́дством його, гро́би його коло нього, всі вони необрі́занці, побиті мечем, бо ши́рили жах свій по кра́ю живих і поне́сли ганьбу свою з тими, хто сходить в могилу, посеред побитих покла́дений він.

26 Там Мешех, Тувал та все многолю́дство його, гро́би його коло нього, всі вони необрі́занці, побиті мечем, бо ши́рили жах свій по краю живих.

27 І не бу́дуть лежати із ли́царями, що попа́дали із необрі́занців, що зійшли до шео́лу з військо́вим знаря́ддям своїм, і поклали свої мечі під свої го́лови, і їхня провина — на їхніх костя́х, бо жах перед ли́царями був у краї живих,

28 а ти розпоро́шений між необрі́занцями, і поляжеш із тими, хто побитий мечем.

29 Там Едо́м, і царі його, і князі всі його́, що при всій своїй силі були зложені з побитими мечами, — вони ляжуть з необрі́занцями та з тими, хто сходить в могилу

30 Там півні́чні князі́, всі вони й всі сидо́няни, що посхо́дили ра́зом з побитими, хоч був жах від їхньої, мі́ці, були посоро́млені, і полягали вони, необрі́занці, з побитими мечем, і свою га́ньбу поне́сли із тими, хто сходить в могилу.

31 Фараон їх побачить, і поті́шиться всім многолю́дством своїм, мечем побитий фараон та все його ві́йсько, говорить Господь Бог!

32 Бо поши́рю Я жах Свій на землю живих, і буде покла́дений серед необрі́занців з побитими мечем фараон та усе многолю́дство його, говорить Господь Бог“!

8 Всі світи́ла, що світять на небі, — позате́мнюю їх над тобою, і дам темно́ту понад краєм твоїм, говорить Господь Бог!

11 Бо так Господь Бог промовляє: Меч царя вавилонського при́йде на тебе!

12 Мечами хоробрих Я порозкида́ю твоє многолю́дство. Усі вони — наси́льники наро́дів, і гордість Єгипту понищать вони, і все многолю́дство його буде ви́гублене.

13 І ви́гублю ввесь його скот при во́дах великих, і не буде вже їх каламу́тити лю́дська нога, і копи́то скотини не буде вже їх каламу́тити.

14 Then227 will I make their waters deep,8257 4325 and cause their rivers5104 to run1980 like oil,8081 saith5002 the Lord136 GOD.3069

14 Тоді їхні води очи́щу, а їхні річки́ попрова́джу, неначе оливу, говорить Господь Бог.

15 Коли оберну́ Я єгипетський край на спусто́шення, і край опусто́шений буде від усього, що в нім, коли Я поб'ю́ всіх тих, що заме́шкують в ньому, то пізнають вони, що Я — то Госпо́дь!

16 This1931 is the lamentation7015 wherewith they shall lament6969 her: the daughters1323 of the nations1471 shall lament6969 her: they shall lament6969 for her, even for5921 Egypt,4714 and for5921 all3605 her multitude,1995 saith5002 the Lord136 GOD.3069

16 Оце пісня жало́бна, і будуть жало́бно співати її, до́чки наро́дів будуть співати жало́бно її, про Єгипет та про все многолю́дство його будуть жало́бно співати її, говорить Господь Бог“.

25 Дали́ йому ложе посеред побитих зо всім многолю́дством його, гро́би його коло нього, всі вони необрі́занці, побиті мечем, бо ши́рили жах свій по кра́ю живих і поне́сли ганьбу свою з тими, хто сходить в могилу, посеред побитих покла́дений він.

26 Там Мешех, Тувал та все многолю́дство його, гро́би його коло нього, всі вони необрі́занці, побиті мечем, бо ши́рили жах свій по краю живих.

27 І не бу́дуть лежати із ли́царями, що попа́дали із необрі́занців, що зійшли до шео́лу з військо́вим знаря́ддям своїм, і поклали свої мечі під свої го́лови, і їхня провина — на їхніх костя́х, бо жах перед ли́царями був у краї живих,

28 Yea, thou859 shalt be broken7665 in the midst8432 of the uncircumcised,6189 and shalt lie7901 with854 them that are slain2491 with the sword.2719

28 а ти розпоро́шений між необрі́занцями, і поляжеш із тими, хто побитий мечем.

29 There8033 is Edom,123 her kings,4428 and all3605 her princes,5387 which834 with their might1369 are laid5414 by854 them that were slain2491 by the sword:2719 they1992 shall lie7901 with854 the uncircumcised,6189 and with854 them that go down3381 to the pit.953

29 Там Едо́м, і царі його, і князі всі його́, що при всій своїй силі були зложені з побитими мечами, — вони ляжуть з необрі́занцями та з тими, хто сходить в могилу

30 Там півні́чні князі́, всі вони й всі сидо́няни, що посхо́дили ра́зом з побитими, хоч був жах від їхньої, мі́ці, були посоро́млені, і полягали вони, необрі́занці, з побитими мечем, і свою га́ньбу поне́сли із тими, хто сходить в могилу.

31 Pharaoh6547 shall see7200 them, and shall be comforted5162 over5921 all3605 his multitude,1995 even Pharaoh6547 and all3605 his army2428 slain2491 by the sword,2719 saith5002 the Lord136 GOD.3069

31 Фараон їх побачить, і поті́шиться всім многолю́дством своїм, мечем побитий фараон та все його ві́йсько, говорить Господь Бог!

32 For3588 I have caused5414 853 my terror2851 in the land776 of the living:2416 and he shall be laid7901 in the midst8432 of the uncircumcised6189 with854 them that are slain2491 with the sword,2719 even Pharaoh6547 and all3605 his multitude,1995 saith5002 the Lord136 GOD.3069

32 Бо поши́рю Я жах Свій на землю живих, і буде покла́дений серед необрі́занців з побитими мечем фараон та усе многолю́дство його, говорить Господь Бог“!
