Chapter 34

1 And Moses4872 went up5927 from the plains4480 6160 of Moab4124 unto413 the mountain2022 of Nebo,5015 to the top7218 of Pisgah,6449 that834 is over5921 against6440 Jericho.3405 And the LORD3068 showed7200 him853 all3605 the land776 853 of Gilead,1568 unto5704 Dan,1835

2 And all3605 Naphtali,5321 and the land776 of Ephraim,669 and Manasseh,4519 and all3605 the land776 of Judah,3063 unto5704 the utmost314 sea,3220

3 And the south,5045 and the plain3603 of the valley1237 of Jericho,3405 the city5892 of palm trees,8558 unto5704 Zoar.6820

4 And the LORD3068 said559 unto413 him, This2063 is the land776 which834 I swore7650 unto Abraham,85 unto Isaac,3327 and unto Jacob,3290 saying,559 I will give5414 it unto thy seed:2233 I have caused thee to see7200 it with thine eyes,5869 but thou shalt not3808 go over5674 thither.8033

5 So Moses4872 the servant5650 of the LORD3068 died4191 there8033 in the land776 of Moab,4124 according to5921 the word6310 of the LORD.3068

6 And he buried6912 him in a valley1516 in the land776 of Moab,4124 over against4136 Beth-peor:1047 but no3808 man376 knoweth3045 of853 his sepulcher6900 unto5704 this2088 day.3117

7 And Moses4872 was a hundred3967 and twenty6242 years8141 old1121 when he died:4194 his eye5869 was not dim,3543 3808 nor3808 his natural force3893 abated.5127

8 And the children1121 of Israel3478 wept1058 for853 Moses4872 in the plains6160 of Moab4124 thirty7970 days:3117 so the days3117 of weeping1065 and mourning60 for Moses4872 were ended.8552

9 And Joshua3091 the son1121 of Nun5126 was full4392 of the spirit7307 of wisdom;2451 for3588 Moses4872 had laid5564 853 his hands3027 upon5921 him: and the children1121 of Israel3478 hearkened8085 unto413 him, and did6213 as834 the LORD3068 commanded6680 853 Moses.4872

10 And there arose6965 not3808 a prophet5030 since5750 in Israel3478 like unto Moses,4872 whom834 the LORD3068 knew3045 face6440 to413 face,6440

11 In all3605 the signs226 and the wonders,4159 which834 the LORD3068 sent7971 him to do6213 in the land776 of Egypt4714 to Pharaoh,6547 and to all3605 his servants,5650 and to all3605 his land,776

12 And in all3605 that mighty2389 hand,3027 and in all3605 the great1419 terror4172 which834 Moses4872 showed6213 in the sight5869 of all3605 Israel.3478

1 Когда взошел Моисей с Моавитской равнины на гору Нево, на вершину Фасги, что напротив Иерихона, дал ГОСПОДЬ ему увидеть всю Землю обетованную от Гилада до Дана,

2 все владения Неффалима и земли Ефрема и Манассии; увидел Моисей и земли Иуды до самого моря западного;

3 весь юг увидел он и долину Иордана, область Иерихонскую до Цоара, до города Пальм.

4 И сказал ГОСПОДЬ Моисею: «Вот она, эта земля, о которой клялся Я Аврааму, Исааку и Иакову, что отдам ее потомкам их! Тебе дал Я возможность увидеть ее своими глазами, но сам ты в нее не войдешь».

5 Так и умер там Моисей, раб ГОСПОДА, на земле моавитской, как предрек ГОСПОДЬ.

6 Погребли его там же, в долине, в Моаве, близ Бет-Пеора. Но никто и поныне не знает, где место погребения его.

7 Моисею перед кончиной было сто двадцать лет, но и в старости глаза его не ослабели и силы его не иссякли.

8 Тридцать дней на равнине Моавитской оплакивали его сыны Израилевы, пока не закончились эти дни плача по Моисею.

9 Иисус Навин был исполнен духа премудрости, ибо Моисей возложил на него руки свои. Теперь под его началом израильтяне исполняли всё то, что наказал ГОСПОДЬ Моисею.

10 Но не было уже больше в Израиле такого пророка, как Моисей, которого ГОСПОДЬ знал лицом к лицу.

11 И не было равных ему по знамениям и чудесам, которые ГОСПОДЬ послал Моисея совершить в Египте, обратив их все против фараона, слуг его и всей его страны,

12 а также по могуществу и поразительным деяниям, явленным Моисеем на глазах у всего Израиля.

5 Так и умер там Моисей, раб ГОСПОДА, на земле моавитской, как предрек ГОСПОДЬ.

7 Моисею перед кончиной было сто двадцать лет, но и в старости глаза его не ослабели и силы его не иссякли.

8 And the children1121 of Israel3478 wept1058 for853 Moses4872 in the plains6160 of Moab4124 thirty7970 days:3117 so the days3117 of weeping1065 and mourning60 for Moses4872 were ended.8552
