4 And the LORD3068 hath sent7971 unto413 you853 all3605 his servants5650 the prophets,5030 rising early7925 and sending7971 them; but ye have not3808 hearkened,8085 nor3808 inclined5186 853 your ear241 to hear.8085

5 They said,559 Turn ye again7725 now4994 every one376 from his evil7451 way,4480 1870 and from the evil4480 7455 of your doings,4611 and dwell3427 in5921 the land127 that834 the LORD3068 hath given5414 unto you and to your fathers1 forever5769 and ever:5704 5769

6 And go1980 not408 after310 other312 gods430 to serve5647 them, and to worship7812 them, and provoke me not to anger3808 3707 853 with the works4639 of your hands;3027 and I will do you no hurt.3808 7489

7 Yet ye have not3808 hearkened8085 unto413 me, saith5002 the LORD;3068 that4616 ye might provoke me to anger3707 with the works4639 of your hands3027 to your own hurt.7451

8 Therefore3651 thus3541 saith559 the LORD3068 of hosts;6635 Because3282 834 ye have not3808 heard8085 853 my words,1697

9 Behold,2009 I will send7971 and take3947 853 all3605 the families4940 of the north,6828 saith5002 the LORD,3068 and Nebuchadnezzar5019 the king4428 of Babylon,894 my servant,5650 and will bring935 them against5921 this2063 land,776 and against5921 the inhabitants3427 thereof, and against5921 all3605 these428 nations1471 round about,5439 and will utterly destroy2763 them, and make7760 them an astonishment,8047 and a hissing,8322 and perpetual5769 desolations.2723

10 Moreover I will take6 from4480 them the voice6963 of mirth,8342 and the voice6963 of gladness,8057 the voice6963 of the bridegroom,2860 and the voice6963 of the bride,3618 the sound6963 of the millstones,7347 and the light216 of the candle.5216

11 And this2063 whole3605 land776 shall be1961 a desolation,2723 and an astonishment;8047 and these428 nations1471 shall serve5647 853 the king4428 of Babylon894 seventy7657 years.8141

12 And it shall come to pass,1961 when seventy7657 years8141 are accomplished,4390 that I will punish6485 5921 the king4428 of Babylon,894 and that1931 nation,1471 saith5002 the LORD,3068 for854 their iniquity,5771 and the land776 of the Chaldeans,3778 and will make7760 it perpetual5769 desolations.8077

13 And I will bring935 upon5921 that1931 land776 853 all3605 my words1697 which834 I have pronounced1696 against5921 it, even853 all3605 that is written3789 in this2088 book,5612 which834 Jeremiah3414 hath prophesied5012 against5921 all3605 the nations.1471

14 For3588 many7227 nations1471 and great1419 kings4428 shall serve5647 themselves1992 of them also:1571 and I will recompense7999 them according to their deeds,6467 and according to the works4639 of their own hands.3027

15 For3588 thus3541 saith559 the LORD3068 God430 of Israel3478 unto413 me; Take3947 853 the wine3196 cup3563 of this2063 fury2534 at my hand,4480 3027 and cause853 all3605 the nations,1471 to whom834 413 I595 send7971 thee, to drink8248 it.

16 And they shall drink,8354 and be moved,1607 and be mad,1984 because4480 6440 of the sword2719 that834 I will send7971 among996 them.

17 Then took3947 I853 the cup3563 at the LORD's3068 hand,4480 3027 and made853 all3605 the nations1471 to drink,8248 unto413 whom834 the LORD3068 had sent7971 me:

18 To wit,853 Jerusalem,3389 and the cities5892 of Judah,3063 and the kings4428 thereof, and853 the princes8269 thereof, to make5414 them a desolation,2723 an astonishment,8047 a hissing,8322 and a curse;7045 as it is this2088 day;3117

19 853 Pharaoh6547 king4428 of Egypt,4714 and his servants,5650 and his princes,8269 and all3605 his people;5971

20 And all3605 the mingled people,6154 and853 all3605 the kings4428 of the land776 of Uz,5780 and all3605 the kings4428 of the land776 of the Philistines,6430 and Ashkelon,831 and Azzah,5804 and Ekron,6138 and the remnant7611 of Ashdod,795

27 Therefore thou shalt say559 unto413 them, Thus3541 saith559 the LORD3068 of hosts,6635 the God430 of Israel;3478 Drink8354 ye, and be drunken,7937 and spew,7006 and fall,5307 and rise6965 no3808 more, because4480 6440 of the sword2719 which834 I595 will send7971 among996 you.

28 And it shall be,1961 if3588 they refuse3985 to take3947 the cup3563 at thine hand4480 3027 to drink,8354 then shalt thou say559 unto413 them, Thus3541 saith559 the LORD3068 of hosts;6635 Ye shall certainly drink.8354 8354

29 For,3588 lo,2009 I595 begin2490 to bring evil7489 on the city5892 which834 is called7121 by5921 my name,8034 and should ye859 be utterly unpunished?5352 5352 Ye shall not3808 be unpunished:5352 for3588 I589 will call for7121 a sword2719 upon5921 all3605 the inhabitants3427 of the earth,776 saith5002 the LORD3068 of hosts.6635

30 Therefore prophesy5012 thou859 against413 them853 all3605 these428 words,1697 and say559 unto413 them, The LORD3068 shall roar7580 from on high,4480 4791 and utter5414 his voice6963 from his holy6944 habitation;4480 4583 he shall mightily roar7580 7580 upon5921 his habitation;5116 he shall give6030 a shout,1959 as they that tread1869 the grapes, against413 all3605 the inhabitants3427 of the earth.776

31 A noise7588 shall come935 even to5704 the ends7097 of the earth;776 for3588 the LORD3068 hath a controversy7379 with the nations,1471 he1931 will plead8199 with all3605 flesh;1320 he will give5414 them that are wicked7563 to the sword,2719 saith5002 the LORD.3068

32 Thus3541 saith559 the LORD3068 of hosts,6635 Behold,2009 evil7451 shall go forth3318 from nation4480 1471 to413 nation,1471 and a great1419 whirlwind5591 shall be raised up5782 from the coasts4480 3411 of the earth.776

33 And the slain2491 of the LORD3068 shall be1961 at that1931 day3117 from one end4480 7097 of the earth776 even unto5704 the other end7097 of the earth:776 they shall not3808 be lamented,5594 neither3808 gathered,622 nor3808 buried;6912 they shall be1961 dung1828 upon5921 6440 the ground.127

34 Howl,3213 ye shepherds,7462 and cry;2199 and wallow yourselves6428 in the ashes, ye principal117 of the flock:6629 for3588 the days3117 of your slaughter2873 and of your dispersions8600 are accomplished;4390 and ye shall fall5307 like a pleasant2532 vessel.3627

35 And the shepherds7462 shall have no way to flee,4480 6 4498 nor the principal4480 117 of the flock6629 to escape.6413

36 A voice6963 of the cry6818 of the shepherds,7462 and a howling3215 of the principal117 of the flock,6629 shall be heard: for3588 the LORD3068 hath spoiled7703 853 their pasture.4830

37 And the peaceable7965 habitations4999 are cut down1826 because4480 6440 of the fierce2740 anger639 of the LORD.3068

38 He hath forsaken5800 his covert,5520 as the lion:3715 for3588 their land776 is1961 desolate8047 because4480 6440 of the fierceness2740 of the oppressor,3238 and because4480 6440 of his fierce2740 anger.639

2 welches auch der Prophet5030 Jeremia3414 redete1696 zu dem ganzen Volk5971 Juda3063 und zu allen Bürgern3427 zu Jerusalem3389 und sprach559:

3 Es ist1696 von dem dreizehnten Jahr8141 an Josias2977, des Sohns Amons526, des Königs4428 Judas, des HErrn3068 Wort1697 zu8085 mir geschehen bis auf7925 diesen Tag3117, und1121 habe1696 euch nun dreiundzwanzig6242 Jahre8141 mit Fleiß geprediget; aber ihr habt nie hören wollen.

4 So hat7971 der HErr3068 auch zu8085 euch gesandt7971 alle seine Knechte5650, die Propheten5030, fleißiglich; aber ihr habt nie hören8085 wollen noch eure Ohren241 neigen5186, daß ihr gehorchet,

5 da er sprach559: Bekehret euch7725, ein376 jeglicher von seinem bösen7451 Wege1870 und von eurem bösen7455 Wesen4611, so sollt ihr3427 in dem Lande127, das der HErr3068 euch und euren Vätern1 gegeben5414 hat, immer5769 und ewiglich5704 bleiben.

6 Folget nicht7489 andern312 Göttern, daß ihr ihnen dienet5647 und310 sie anbetet7812, auf daß ihr mich nicht erzürnet3707 durch eurer Hände3027 Werk4639, und430 ich euch3212 Unglück zufügen müsse.

7 Aber ihr wolltet mir nicht7451 gehorchen, spricht5002 der HErr3068, auf daß ihr mich ja wohl erzürnetet durch eurer Hände3027 Werk4639 zu8085 eurem eigenen Unglück.

8 Darum so spricht559 der HErr3068 Zebaoth6635: Weil ihr denn meine Worte1697 nicht hören8085 wollt,

9 siehe, so will935 ich ausschicken und5439 kommen lassen7971 alle Völker4940 gegen Mitternacht6828, spricht5002 der HErr3068, auch meinen Knecht5650 Nebukadnezar5019, den König4428 zu Babel894, und8047 will sie bringen3947 über dies Land776 und2723 über die, so drinnen wohnen3427, und über all dieses Volk1471, so umherliegen, und will sie verbannen2763 und verstören und zum Spott8322 und ewiger5769 Wüste machen7760.

10 Und6963 will herausnehmen6 allen fröhlichen8057 Gesang, die Stimme6963 des Bräutigams2860 und6963 der Braut3618, die Stimme6963 der Mühlen7347 und6963 Licht216 der Laterne,

11 daß dies ganze Land776 wüst und2723 zerstöret liegen soll. Und8047 sollen diese Völker1471 dem Könige4428 zu Babel894 dienen5647 siebenzig Jahre8141.

12 Wenn aber die siebenzig Jahre8141 um sind4390, will ich den König4428 zu Babel894 heimsuchen6485 und all dies Volk1471, spricht5002 der8077 HErr3068, um ihre Missetat5771, dazu das Land776 der Chaldäer3778, und will es zur ewigen5769 Wüste machen7760.

13 Also will935 ich über dies Land776 bringen alle meine Worte, die ich geredet habe3789 wider sie, nämlich alles, was in diesem Buch5612 geschrieben stehet, das1697 Jeremia3414 geweissaget hat1696 über alle Völker1471.

14 Und6467 sie sollen auch dienen5647, ob sie gleich große7227 Völker1471 und große1419 Könige4428 sind. Also will ich ihnen vergelten7999 nach ihrem Verdienst und nach den Werken4639 ihrer Hände3027.

15 Denn also spricht559 zu mir8248 der HErr3068, der GOtt430 Israels3478: Nimm3947 diesen Becher3563 Weins3196 voll Zorns2534 von meiner Hand3027 und schenke daraus allen Völkern1471, zu denen ich dich sende7971,

16 daß sie1984 trinken8354, taumeln1607 und toll werden vor dem Schwert2719, das ich unter6440 sie schicken7971 will.

17 Und ich nahm3947 den Becher3563 von der Hand3027 des HErrn3068 und schenkte8248 allen Völkern1471, zu denen mich7971 der HErr3068 sandte,

18 nämlich Jerusalem3389, den Städten5892 Judas, ihren Königen4428 und2723 Fürsten8269, daß sie5414 wüst und8047 zerstört liegen und ein Spott8322 und Fluch7045 sein sollen, wie es denn heutigestages3117 stehet;

19 auch Pharao6547, dem Könige4428 in Ägypten4714, samt seinen Knechten5650, seinen Fürsten8269 und seinem ganzen Volk5971;

26 allen Königen4467 gegen Mitternacht6828, beide, in der Nähe7138 und376 Ferne7350, einem mit dem andern251, und allen Königen4428 auf6440 Erden776, die auf dem Erdboden127 sind. Und König4428 Sesach8347 soll nach310 diesen trinken8354.

27 Und sprich559 zu ihnen: So spricht559 der HErr3068 Zebaoth6635, der GOtt430 Israels3478: Trinket8354, daß ihr trunken7937 werdet, speiet7006 und niederfallet und nicht6965 aufstehen möget vor dem Schwert2719, das ich unter6440 euch schicken7971 will5307.

28 Und wo sie559 den Becher3563 nicht3985 wollen von deiner Hand3027 nehmen3947 und trinken8354, so sprich559 zu ihnen: Also spricht der HErr3068 Zebaoth6635: Nun sollt ihr trinken8354!

29 Denn siehe, in der Stadt5892, die nach meinem Namen8034 genannt7121 ist5352, fahe ich an2490 zu plagen7489, und ihr3427 solltet ungestraft bleiben5352? Ihr sollt nicht ungestraft bleiben5352; denn ich rufe7121 das Schwert2719 über alle, die auf Erden776 wohnen, spricht5002 der HErr3068 Zebaoth6635.

30 Und du559 sollst alle diese Worte1697 ihnen weissagen5012 und sprich zu ihnen: Der HErr3068 wird brüllen7580 aus der Höhe4791 und seinen Donner6963 hören6030 lassen5414 aus seiner heiligen6944 Wohnung4583; er wird brüllen7580 über seine Hürden5116; er wird singen ein Lied1959, wie die Weintreter1869, über alle Einwohner3427 des Landes776, des Hall erschallen wird bis an der Welt Ende.

31 Der HErr3068 hat7379 zu rechten mit7097 den Heiden1471 und776 will935 mit allem Fleisch1320 Gericht halten; die GOttlosen7563 wird8199 er5414 dem Schwert2719 übergeben, spricht5002 der HErr3068.

32 So spricht559 der HErr3068 Zeboath: Siehe, es wird eine Plage7451 kommen3318 von einem Volk1471 zum andern, und ein groß1419 Wetter5591 wird erweckt werden5782 von der Seite3411 des Landes776.

33 Da werden622 die Erschlagenen2491 vom HErrn3068 zur selbigen Zeit3117 liegen von einem Ende7097 der Erde776 bis ans andere Ende7097; die werden6912 nicht geklaget noch aufgehoben noch begraben werden, sondern müssen auf6440 dem Felde127 liegen und776 zu Mist1828 werden.

34 Heulet3213 nun, ihr Hirten7462, und schreiet2199; wälzet6428 euch in der Asche, ihr Gewaltigen117 über die Herde6629! Denn die Zeit3117 ist4390 hie, daß5307 ihr geschlachtet2873 und zerstreuet werdet und zerfallen müsset, wie ein köstlich Gefäß3627.

35 Und die Hirten7462 werden nicht6 fliehen4498 können, und die Gewaltigen117 über die Herde6629 werden nicht entrinnen6413 können.

36 Da werden7703 die Hirten7462 schreien6963, und die Gewaltigen117 über die Herde6629 werden heulen3215, daß der HErr3068 ihre Weide4830 so verwüstet hat,

37 und ihre Auen4999, die so wohl stunden, verderbet sind1826 vor6440 dem grimmigen2740 Zorn639 des HErrn3068.

38 Er hat seine Hütte5520 verlassen5800, wie ein junger3715 Löwe; und8047 ist also ihr Land776 zerstöret vor6440 dem Zorn2740 des Tyrannen3238 und vor6440 seinem grimmigen2740 Zorn639.

12 And it shall come to pass,1961 when seventy7657 years8141 are accomplished,4390 that I will punish6485 5921 the king4428 of Babylon,894 and that1931 nation,1471 saith5002 the LORD,3068 for854 their iniquity,5771 and the land776 of the Chaldeans,3778 and will make7760 it perpetual5769 desolations.8077

31 A noise7588 shall come935 even to5704 the ends7097 of the earth;776 for3588 the LORD3068 hath a controversy7379 with the nations,1471 he1931 will plead8199 with all3605 flesh;1320 he will give5414 them that are wicked7563 to the sword,2719 saith5002 the LORD.3068

31 Der HErr3068 hat7379 zu rechten mit7097 den Heiden1471 und776 will935 mit allem Fleisch1320 Gericht halten; die GOttlosen7563 wird8199 er5414 dem Schwert2719 übergeben, spricht5002 der HErr3068.

32 Thus3541 saith559 the LORD3068 of hosts,6635 Behold,2009 evil7451 shall go forth3318 from nation4480 1471 to413 nation,1471 and a great1419 whirlwind5591 shall be raised up5782 from the coasts4480 3411 of the earth.776

32 So spricht559 der HErr3068 Zeboath: Siehe, es wird eine Plage7451 kommen3318 von einem Volk1471 zum andern, und ein groß1419 Wetter5591 wird erweckt werden5782 von der Seite3411 des Landes776.

33 And the slain2491 of the LORD3068 shall be1961 at that1931 day3117 from one end4480 7097 of the earth776 even unto5704 the other end7097 of the earth:776 they shall not3808 be lamented,5594 neither3808 gathered,622 nor3808 buried;6912 they shall be1961 dung1828 upon5921 6440 the ground.127

33 Da werden622 die Erschlagenen2491 vom HErrn3068 zur selbigen Zeit3117 liegen von einem Ende7097 der Erde776 bis ans andere Ende7097; die werden6912 nicht geklaget noch aufgehoben noch begraben werden, sondern müssen auf6440 dem Felde127 liegen und776 zu Mist1828 werden.

34 Howl,3213 ye shepherds,7462 and cry;2199 and wallow yourselves6428 in the ashes, ye principal117 of the flock:6629 for3588 the days3117 of your slaughter2873 and of your dispersions8600 are accomplished;4390 and ye shall fall5307 like a pleasant2532 vessel.3627

34 Heulet3213 nun, ihr Hirten7462, und schreiet2199; wälzet6428 euch in der Asche, ihr Gewaltigen117 über die Herde6629! Denn die Zeit3117 ist4390 hie, daß5307 ihr geschlachtet2873 und zerstreuet werdet und zerfallen müsset, wie ein köstlich Gefäß3627.

35 And the shepherds7462 shall have no way to flee,4480 6 4498 nor the principal4480 117 of the flock6629 to escape.6413

35 Und die Hirten7462 werden nicht6 fliehen4498 können, und die Gewaltigen117 über die Herde6629 werden nicht entrinnen6413 können.

36 A voice6963 of the cry6818 of the shepherds,7462 and a howling3215 of the principal117 of the flock,6629 shall be heard: for3588 the LORD3068 hath spoiled7703 853 their pasture.4830

36 Da werden7703 die Hirten7462 schreien6963, und die Gewaltigen117 über die Herde6629 werden heulen3215, daß der HErr3068 ihre Weide4830 so verwüstet hat,

37 And the peaceable7965 habitations4999 are cut down1826 because4480 6440 of the fierce2740 anger639 of the LORD.3068

37 und ihre Auen4999, die so wohl stunden, verderbet sind1826 vor6440 dem grimmigen2740 Zorn639 des HErrn3068.

38 He hath forsaken5800 his covert,5520 as the lion:3715 for3588 their land776 is1961 desolate8047 because4480 6440 of the fierceness2740 of the oppressor,3238 and because4480 6440 of his fierce2740 anger.639

38 Er hat seine Hütte5520 verlassen5800, wie ein junger3715 Löwe; und8047 ist also ihr Land776 zerstöret vor6440 dem Zorn2740 des Tyrannen3238 und vor6440 seinem grimmigen2740 Zorn639.
