2 Son1121 of man,120 set7760 thy face6440 toward413 Jerusalem,3389 and drop5197 thy word toward413 the holy places,4720 and prophesy5012 against413 the land127 of Israel,3478

2 Du Menschenkind120, richte dein Angesicht gegen6440 den Südwind8486 zu und1121 träufe gegen den Mittag1864 und7760 weissage5012 wider den Wald3293 im1870 Felde7704 gegen Mittag5045.

3 And say559 to the land127 of Israel,3478 Thus3541 saith559 the LORD;3068 Behold,2009 I am against413 thee, and will draw forth3318 my sword2719 out of his sheath,4480 8593 and will cut off3772 from4480 thee the righteous6662 and the wicked.7563

3 Und6086 sprich559 zum Walde3293 gegen Mittag5045: Höre8085 des HErrn3069 Wort1697! So spricht der HErr3068 HErr136: Siehe, ich will in6440 dir ein Feuer784 anzünden3341, das soll beide, grüne3892 und dürre3002 Bäume6086, verzehren398, daß man559 seine Flamme3852 nicht wird löschen können, sondern es soll verbrannt werden3518 alles, was vom Mittage gegen Mitternacht6828 stehet.

4 Seeing then3282 that834 I will cut off3772 from4480 thee the righteous6662 and the wicked,7563 therefore3651 shall my sword2719 go forth3318 out of his sheath4480 8593 against413 all3605 flesh1320 from the south4480 5045 to the north: 6828

4 Und alles Fleisch1320 soll7200 sehen, daß ich, der HErr3068, es angezündet1197 habe und niemand löschen möge.

5 That all3605 flesh1320 may know3045 that3588 I589 the LORD3068 have drawn forth3318 my sword2719 out of his sheath:4480 8593 it shall not3808 return7725 any more.5750

5 Und4911 ich sprach559: Ach162, HErr136 HErr3069, sie sagen559 von mir: Dieser redet eitel verdeckte Worte.

6 Sigh584 therefore, thou859 son1121 of man,120 with the breaking7670 of thy loins;4975 and with bitterness4814 sigh584 before their eyes.5869

6 Und des HErrn3068 Wort1697 geschah zu mir und sprach559:

7 And it shall be,1961 when3588 they say559 unto413 thee, Wherefore5921 4100 sighest584 thou?859 that thou shalt answer,559 For413 the tidings;8052 because3588 it cometh:935 and every3605 heart3820 shall melt,4549 and all3605 hands3027 shall be feeble,7503 and every3605 spirit7307 shall faint,3543 and all3605 knees1290 shall be weak1980 as water:4325 behold,2009 it cometh,935 and shall be brought to pass,1961 saith5002 the Lord136 GOD.3069

7 Du Menschenkind120, richte dein Angesicht6440 wider Jerusalem3389 und1121 träufe wider die Heiligtümer4720 und7760 weissage5012 wider das Land127 Israel3478

8 Again the word1697 of the LORD3068 came1961 unto413 me, saying,559
|
8 und sprich559 zum Lande127 Israel3478: So spricht559 der HErr3068 HErr: Siehe, ich will an dich; ich will mein Schwert2719 aus3318 der Scheide8593 ziehen und will in dir ausrotten3772 beide, Gerechte6662 und Ungerechte7563.

9 Son1121 of man,120 prophesy,5012 and say,559 Thus3541 saith559 the LORD;136 Say,559 A sword,2719 a sword2719 is sharpened,2300 and also1571 furbished: 4803
|
9 Weil3282 ich denn in dir3318 beide, Gerechte6662 und Ungerechte7563, ausrotte, so wird mein Schwert2719 aus3772 der Scheide8593 fahren über alles Fleisch1320 vom Mittage her bis gen Mitternacht6828.

10 It is sharpened2300 to4616 make a sore slaughter;2873 2874 it is furbished4803 that4616 it may glitter:1961 1300 should we then176 make mirth?7797 it contemneth3988 the rod7626 of my son,1121 as every3605 tree.6086

10 Und soll alles Fleisch1320 erfahrern, daß ich3045, der HErr3068, mein Schwert2719 hab‘ aus3318 seiner Scheide8593 gezogen; und soll nicht wieder7725 eingesteckt werden.

11 And he hath given5414 it to be furbished,4803 that it may be handled:8610 3709 this1931 sword2719 is sharpened,2300 and it1931 is furbished,4803 to give5414 it into the hand3027 of the slayer.2026
|
11 Und1121 du5869, Menschenkind120, sollst seufzen584, bis dir die Lenden4975 weh7670 tun; ja, bitterlich4814 sollst du seufzen584, daß sie es sehen.

|
12 Cry2199 and howl,3213 son1121 of man:120 for3588 it1931 shall be1961 upon my people,5971 it1931 shall be upon all3605 the princes5387 of Israel:3478 terrors4048 by reason of413 the sword2719 shall be1961 upon854 my people:5971 smite5606 therefore3651 upon413 thy thigh.3409

12 Und1961 wenn sie7503 zu dir sagen559 werden3543: Warum seufzest du584? sollst du sagen559: Um des Geschreies willen, das da kommt3212, vor welchem alle Herzen3820 verzagen und alle Hände3027 sinken, aller Mut7307 fallen, und alle Kniee1290 wie Wasser4325 gehen935 werden. Siehe, es kommt935 und wird4549 geschehen, spricht5002 der HErr136 HErr3069.

13 Because3588 it is a trial,974 and what4100 if518 the sword contemn3988 even1571 the rod?7626 it shall be1961 no3808 more, saith5002 the Lord136 GOD.3069

13 Und des HErrn3068 Wort1697 geschah zu mir und sprach559:
|
|
14 Thou859 therefore, son1121 of man,120 prophesy,5012 and smite thine hands together,5221 3709 413 3709 and let the sword2719 be doubled3717 the third time,7992 the sword2719 of the slain:2491 it1931 is the sword2719 of the great1419 men that are slain,2491 which entereth into their privy chambers.2314

14 Du559 Menschenkind120, weissage5012 und1121 sprich559: So spricht der HErr3068: Sprich: Das Schwert2719, ja, das Schwert2719 ist geschärft2300 und gefegt4803.

15 I have set5414 the point19 of the sword2719 against5921 all3605 their gates,8179 that4616 their heart3820 may faint,4127 and their ruins4383 be multiplied:7235 ah!253 it is made bright,6213 1300 it is wrapped up4593 for the slaughter.2874

15 Es ist3988 geschärft2300, daß es schlachten2874 soll2873; es ist7626 gefegt4178, daß es blinken1300 soll176. O wie froh wollten wir sein7797, wenn er gleich alle Bäume6086 zu Ruten machte über die bösen Kinder1121!

16 Go thee one way or other,258 either on the right hand,3231 or on the left,8041 whithersoever575 thy face6440 is set.3259
|
16 Aber er hat2026 ein Schwert2719 zu fegen gegeben5414, daß man es fassen soll8610; es ist geschärft2300 und gefegt4803, daß man‘s dem Totschläger in die Hand3027 gebe5414.

17 I589 will also1571 smite5221 mine hands together,3709 413 3709 and I will cause my fury2534 to rest:5117 I589 the LORD3068 have said1696 it.

17 Schreie2199 und1121 heule3213, du Menschenkind120; denn es gehet über mein Volk5971 und über alle Regenten5387 in413 Israel3478, die zum Schwert2719 samt meinem Volk5971 versammelt sind4048. Darum schlage5606 auf deine Lenden3409:

18 The word1697 of the LORD3068 came1961 unto413 me again, saying,559

18 Denn er hat sie3988 oft gezüchtiget; was hat‘s geholfen? Es will der bösen Kinder Rute7626 nicht helfen, spricht5002 der HErr136 HErr3069.
|
|
19 Also, thou859 son1121 of man,120 appoint7760 thee two8147 ways,1870 that the sword2719 of the king4428 of Babylon894 may come:935 both twain8147 shall come forth3318 out of one land:4480 776 259 and choose1254 thou a place,3027 choose1254 it at the head7218 of the way1870 to the city.5892

19 Und1121 du2491, Menschenkind120, weissage5012 und schlage5221 deine Hände3709 zusammen. Denn das Schwert2719 wird zwiefach3717, ja dreifach7992 kommen, ein Würgeschwert, ein Schwert großer1419 Schlacht5221, das sie auch treffen wird in den Kammern, da sie hinfliehen.

20 Appoint7760 a way,1870 that the sword2719 may come935 to854 Rabbath7237 of the Ammonites,1121 5983 and to854 Judah3063 in Jerusalem3389 the defensed.1219

20 Ich will19 das Schwert2719 lassen5414 klingen, daß die Herzen3820 verzagen4127 und6213 viele7235 fallen sollen4383 an allen ihren Toren8179. Ach253, wie glänzet es und hauet daher4593 zur Schlacht2874!
|
|
21 For3588 the king4428 of Babylon894 stood5975 at413 the parting517 of the way,1870 at the head7218 of the two8147 ways,1870 to use7080 divination:7081 he made his arrows bright,7043 2671 he consulted7592 with images,8655 he looked7200 in the liver.3516

21 Und sprechen: Haue drein258, beide, zur Rechten3231 und Linken8041, was575 vor6440 dir ist7760!
|
|
22 At his right hand3225 was1961 the divination7081 for Jerusalem,3389 to appoint7760 captains,3733 to open6605 the mouth6310 in the slaughter,7524 to lift up7311 the voice6963 with shouting,8643 to appoint7760 battering rams3733 against5921 the gates,8179 to cast8210 a mount,5550 and to build1129 a fort.1785

22 Da will ich dann mit meinen Händen3709 darob frohlocken5221 und meinen Zorn2534 gehen lassen5117. Ich, der HErr3068, hab es gesagt1696.

23 And it shall be1961 unto them as a false7723 divination7080 in their sight,5869 to them that have sworn7650 oaths:7621 but he1931 will call to remembrance2142 the iniquity,5771 that they may be taken.8610
|
23 Und des HErrn3068 Wort1697 geschah zu mir und sprach559:
|
|
24 Therefore3651 thus3541 saith559 the Lord136 GOD;3069 Because3282 ye have made your iniquity5771 to be remembered,2142 in that your transgressions6588 are discovered,1540 so that in all3605 your doings5949 your sins2403 do appear;7200 because,3282 I say, that ye are come to remembrance,2142 ye shall be taken8610 with the hand.3709

24 Du Menschenkind120, mache7760 zween Wege1870, durch3027 welche kommen3318 soll das776 Schwert2719 des Königs4428 zu Babel894; sie1121 sollen aber alle beide8147 aus einem259 Lande gehen935.

25 And thou,859 profane2491 wicked7563 prince5387 of Israel,3478 whose834 day3117 is come,935 when6256 iniquity5771 shall have an end,7093
|
25 Und7760 stelle ein Zeichen vorne an den Weg1870 zur Stadt, dahin es weisen soll; und mache den Weg, daß das Schwert2719 komme935 gen Rabbath der Kinder Ammon5983 und nach Juda3063, zu der festen1219 Stadt Jerusalem3389.

26 Thus3541 saith559 the Lord136 GOD;3069 Remove5493 the diadem,4701 and take off7311 the crown:5850 this2063 shall not3808 be the same:2063 exalt1361 him that is low,8217 and abase8213 him that is high.1364

26 Denn der König4428 zu Babel894 wird sich an7200 die Wegscheide517 stellen5975, vorne an den7218 zween Wegen1870, daß er ihm wahrsagen7081 lasse, mit7080 den Pfeilen2671 um1870 das Los schieße, seinen Abgott8655 frage7592 und7043 schaue die Leber3516 an.

27 I will7760 overturn,5754 overturn,5754 overturn,5754 it: and1571 it2063 shall be1961 no3808 more, until5704 he come935 whose834 right4941 it is; and I will give5414 it him.

27 Und die Wahrsagung7081 wird8210 auf6605 die rechte3225 Seite gen Jerusalem3389 deuten, daß6310 er7760 solle Böcke hinanführen lassen und Löcher machen7760 und mit großem8643 Geschrei6963 sie überfalle7311 und morde7524, und daß er Böcke führen solle wider die Tore8179 und da Wall5550 schütte und Bollwerk1785 baue.

28 And thou,859 son1121 of man,120 prophesy5012 and say,559 Thus3541 saith559 the Lord136 GOD3069 concerning413 the Ammonites,1121 5983 and concerning413 their reproach;2781 even say559 thou, The sword,2719 the sword2719 is drawn:6605 for the slaughter2874 it is furbished,4803 to consume3557 because of4616 the glittering: 1300

28 Aber es wird sie8610 solch Wahrsagen7080 falsch7723 dünken5869, er schwöre7650, wie teuer er will. Er aber wird denken an2142 die Missetat5771, daß er sie gewinne.

29 While they see2372 vanity7723 unto thee, while they divine7080 a lie3577 unto thee, to bring5414 thee upon413 the necks6677 of them that are slain,2491 of the wicked,7563 whose834 day3119 is come,935 when6256 their iniquity5771 shall have an end.7093
|
29 Darum spricht der HErr136 HErr3069 also: Darum daß euer gedacht2142 wird8610 um eurer Missetat6588 und2403 euer Ungehorsam offenbart ist7200, daß man559 eure Sünde5771 siehet in all eurem Tun, ja darum daß euer gedacht2142 wird, werdet ihr5949 mit Gewalt3709 gefangen werden1540.

30 Shall I cause it to return7725 into413 his sheath?8593 I will judge8199 thee in the place4725 where834 thou wast created,1254 in the land776 of thy nativity.4351

30 Und6256 du, Fürst5387 in Israel3478, der du verdammt und verurteilet bist7563, des Tag3117 daherkommen wird, wenn die Missetat5771 zum Ende7093 kommen935 ist2491,

|
31 And I will pour out8210 mine indignation2195 upon5921 thee, I will blow6315 against5921 thee in the fire784 of my wrath,5678 and deliver5414 thee into the hand3027 of brutish1197 men,376 and skillful2796 to destroy.4889
|
31 so spricht559 der HErr136 HErr3069: Tu weg7311 den Hut4701 und1364 heb ab die Krone5850! Denn es wird2063 weder der Hut noch die Krone bleiben, sondern der sich1361 erhöhet hat, soll geniedriget werden5493, und der sich niedriget, soll erhöhet werden8213.

32 Thou shalt be1961 for fuel402 to the fire;784 thy blood1818 shall be1961 in the midst8432 of the land;776 thou shalt be no3808 more remembered:2142 for3588 I589 the LORD3068 have spoken1696 it.

32 Ich will935 die Krone zunichte5754, zunichte5754, zunichte5754 machen7760, bis der komme, der sie haben soll4941; dem will ich sie geben5414.
