Chapter 20

1 And it came1961 to pass in the seventh7637 year,8141 in the fifth2549 month, the tenth6218 day of the month,2320 that certain582 of the elders2205 of Israel3478 came935 to inquire1875 of the LORD,3068 and sat3427 before6440 me.

2 Then came1961 the word1697 of the LORD3068 to me, saying,559

3 Son1121 of man,120 speak1696 to the elders2205 of Israel,3478 and say559 to them, Thus3541 said559 the Lord136 GOD;3069 Are you come935 to inquire1875 of me? As I live,2416 said5002 the Lord136 GOD,3069 I will not be inquired1875 of by you.

4 Will you judge8199 them, son1121 of man,120 will you judge8199 them? cause them to know3045 the abominations8441 of their fathers:1

5 And say559 to them, Thus3541 said559 the Lord136 GOD;3069 In the day3117 when I chose977 Israel,3478 and lifted5375 up my hand3027 to the seed2233 of the house1004 of Jacob,3290 and made myself known3045 to them in the land776 of Egypt,4714 when I lifted5375 up my hand3027 to them, saying,559 I am the LORD3068 your God;430

6 In the day3117 that I lifted5375 up my hand3027 to them, to bring3318 them forth3318 of the land776 of Egypt4714 into413 a land776 that I had espied8446 for them, flowing2100 with milk2461 and honey,1706 which1958 is the glory6643 of all3605 lands:776

7 Then said559 I to them, Cast7993 you away every man376 the abominations8251 of his eyes,5869 and defile2930 not yourselves with the idols1544 of Egypt:4714 I am the LORD3068 your God.430

8 But they rebelled4784 against me, and would14 not listen8085 to me: they did not every man376 cast7993 away the abominations8251 of their eyes,5869 neither3808 did they forsake5800 the idols1544 of Egypt:4714 then I said,559 I will pour8210 out my fury2534 on them, to accomplish3615 my anger639 against them in the middle8432 of the land776 of Egypt.4714

9 But I worked6213 for my name's8034 sake,4616 that it should not be polluted2490 before5869 the heathen,1471 among8432 whom834 they were, in whose853 sight5869 I made myself known3045 to them, in bringing3318 them forth3318 out of the land776 of Egypt.4714

10 Why I caused them to go3318 forth3318 out of the land776 of Egypt,4714 and brought935 them into413 the wilderness.4057

11 And I gave5414 them my statutes,2708 and showed3045 them my judgments,4941 which834 if a man120 do,6213 he shall even live2425 in them.

12 Moreover1571 also1571 I gave5414 them my sabbaths,7676 to be a sign226 between996 me and them, that they might know3045 that I am the LORD3068 that sanctify6942 them.

13 But the house1004 of Israel3478 rebelled4784 against me in the wilderness:4057 they walked1980 not in my statutes,2708 and they despised3988 my judgments,4941 which834 if a man120 do,6213 he shall even live2425 in them; and my sabbaths7676 they greatly3966 polluted:2490 then I said,559 I would pour8210 out my fury2534 on them in the wilderness,4057 to consume3615 them.

14 But I worked6213 for my name's8034 sake,4616 that it should not be polluted2490 before5869 the heathen,1471 in whose834 sight5869 I brought3318 them out.

15 Yet also1571 I lifted5375 up my hand3027 to them in the wilderness,4057 that I would not bring935 them into413 the land776 which834 I had given5414 them, flowing2100 with milk2461 and honey,1706 which1958 is the glory of all3605 lands;776

16 Because3282 they despised3988 my judgments,4941 and walked1980 not in my statutes,2708 but polluted2490 my sabbaths:7676 for their heart3820 went1980 after310 their idols.1544

17 Nevertheless my eye5869 spared2347 them from destroying7843 them, neither3808 did I make6213 an end3615 of them in the wilderness.4057

18 But I said559 to their children1121 in the wilderness,4057 Walk3212 you not in the statutes2706 of your fathers,1 neither408 observe8104 their judgments,4941 nor408 defile2930 yourselves with their idols:1544

19 I am the LORD3068 your God;430 walk3212 in my statutes,2708 and keep8104 my judgments,4941 and do6213 them;

20 And hallow6942 my sabbaths;7676 and they shall be a sign226 between996 me and you, that you may know3045 that I am the LORD3068 your God.430

21 Notwithstanding the children1121 rebelled4784 against me: they walked1980 not in my statutes,2708 neither3808 kept8104 my judgments4941 to do6213 them, which834 if a man120 do,6213 he shall even live2425 in them; they polluted2490 my sabbaths:7676 then I said,559 I would pour8210 out my fury2534 on them, to accomplish3615 my anger639 against them in the wilderness.4057

22 Nevertheless I withdrew7725 my hand,3027 and worked6213 for my name's8034 sake,4616 that it should not be polluted2490 in the sight5869 of the heathen,1471 in whose834 sight5869 I brought3318 them forth.3318

23 I lifted5375 up my hand3027 to them also1571 in the wilderness,4057 that I would scatter6327 them among the heathen,1471 and disperse2219 them through the countries;776

24 Because3282 they had not executed6213 my judgments,4941 but had despised3988 my statutes,2708 and had polluted2490 my sabbaths,7676 and their eyes5869 were after310 their fathers'1 idols.1544

25 Why I gave5414 them also1571 statutes2706 that were not good,2896 and judgments4941 whereby they should not live;2421

26 And I polluted2930 them in their own gifts,4979 in that they caused to pass5674 through the fire all3605 that opens6363 the womb,7356 that I might make them desolate,8074 to the end4616 that they might know3045 that I am the LORD.3068

27 Therefore,3651 son1121 of man,120 speak1696 to the house1004 of Israel,3478 and say559 to them, Thus3541 said559 the Lord136 GOD;3069 Yet5750 in this2063 your fathers1 have blasphemed1442 me, in that they have committed4603 a trespass4604 against me.

28 For when I had brought935 them into413 the land,776 for the which834 I lifted5375 up my hand3027 to give5414 it to them, then they saw7200 every3605 high7311 hill,1389 and all3605 the thick5687 trees,6086 and they offered2076 there8033 their sacrifices,2077 and there8033 they presented5414 the provocation3708 of their offering:7133 there8033 also they made7760 their sweet5207 smell,7381 and poured5258 out there8033 their drink5262 offerings.

29 Then I said559 to them, What4100 is the high1116 place whereunto834 8033 you go?935 And the name8034 whereof is called7121 Bamah1117 to this2088 day.3117

30 Why3651 say559 to the house1004 of Israel,3478 Thus3541 said559 the Lord136 GOD;3069 Are you polluted2930 after the manner1870 of your fathers?1 and commit2181 you prostitution2181 after310 their abominations?8251

31 For when you offer5375 your gifts,4979 when you make your sons1121 to pass5674 through the fire,784 you pollute2930 yourselves with all3605 your idols,1544 even to this day:3117 and shall I be inquired1875 of by you, O house1004 of Israel?3478 As I live,2416 said5002 the Lord136 GOD,3069 I will not be inquired of by you.

32 And that which comes5927 into5921 your mind7307 shall not be at all, that you say,559 We will be as the heathen,1471 as the families4940 of the countries,776 to serve8334 wood6086 and stone.68

33 As I live, said5002 the Lord136 GOD,3069 surely518 3808 with a mighty2389 hand,3027 and with a stretched5186 out arm,2220 and with fury2534 poured8210 out, will I rule4427 over you:

34 And I will bring3318 you out from the people,5971 and will gather6908 you out of the countries776 wherein834 you are scattered,6327 with a mighty2389 hand,3027 and with a stretched5186 out arm,2220 and with fury2534 poured8210 out.

35 And I will bring935 you into413 the wilderness4057 of the people,5971 and there8033 will I plead8199 with you face6440 to face.6440

36 Like as I pleaded8199 with your fathers1 in the wilderness4057 of the land776 of Egypt,4714 so3651 will I plead8199 with you, said5002 the Lord136 GOD.3069

37 And I will cause you to pass5674 under8478 the rod,7626 and I will bring935 you into the bond4562 of the covenant:1285

38 And I will purge1305 out from among you the rebels,4775 and them that transgress6586 against me: I will bring3318 them forth3318 out of the country776 where they sojourn,4033 and they shall not enter935 into413 the land127 of Israel:3478 and you shall know3045 that I am the LORD.3068

39 As for you, O house1004 of Israel,3478 thus3541 said559 the Lord136 GOD;3069 Go3212 you, serve5647 you every376 one376 his idols,1544 and hereafter310 also, if518 you will not listen8085 to me: but pollute2490 you my holy6944 name8034 no3808 more5750 with your gifts,4979 and with your idols.1544

40 For in my holy6944 mountain,2022 in the mountain2022 of the height4791 of Israel,3478 said5002 the Lord136 GOD,3069 there8033 shall all3605 the house1004 of Israel,3478 all3605 of them in the land,776 serve5647 me: there8033 will I accept7521 them, and there8033 will I require1875 your offerings,8641 and the first fruits7225 of your oblations,4864 with all3605 your holy things.

41 I will accept7521 you with your sweet5207 smell,7381 when I bring3318 you out from the people,5971 and gather6908 you out of the countries776 wherein you have been scattered;6327 and I will be sanctified6942 in you before5869 the heathen.1471

42 And you shall know3045 that I am the LORD,3068 when I shall bring935 you into413 the land127 of Israel,3478 into413 the country776 for the which834 I lifted5375 up my hand3027 to give5414 it to your fathers.1

43 And there8033 shall you remember2142 your ways,1870 and all3605 your doings,5949 wherein834 you have been defiled;2930 and you shall loathe6962 yourselves in your own sight6440 for all3605 your evils7451 that you have committed.6213

44 And you shall know3045 that I am the LORD 3068when I have worked6213 with you for my name's8034 sake,4616 not according to your wicked7451 ways,1870 nor according to your corrupt7843 doings,5949 O you house1004 of Israel,3478 said5002 the Lord136 GOD.3069

45 Moreover the word1697 of the LORD3068 came1961 to me, saying,559

46 Son1121 of man,120 set7760 your face6440 toward1870 the south,8486 and drop5197 your word toward413 the south,1864 and prophesy5012 against413 the forest3293 of the south5045 field;7704

47 And say559 to the forest3293 of the south,5045 Hear8085 the word1697 of the LORD;3068 Thus3541 said559 the Lord136 GOD;3069 Behold,2005 I will kindle3341 a fire784 in you, and it shall devour398 every3605 green3892 tree6086 in you, and every3605 dry3002 tree:6086 the flaming3852 flame7957 shall not be quenched,3518 and all3605 faces6440 from the south5045 to the north6828 shall be burned6866 therein.

48 And all3605 flesh1320 shall see7200 that I the LORD3068 have kindled1197 it: it shall not be quenched.3518

49 Then said559 I, Ah162 Lord136 GOD!3069 they say559 of me, Does he not speak4911 parables?4912

3 «Сын человеческий, поговори со старейшинами Израиля и скажи им, что Господь Всемогущий так говорит: „Вы пришли ко Мне за советом? Но Я, Господь Бог, вам говорю, что так же верно, как и то, что Я жив, Я не услышу вас”.

4 Должен ли ты осудить их, сын человеческий? Скажи им обо всём гадком, что сделали их отцы.

5 Скажи им, что Господь Всемогущий им говорит: „В день, когда Я избрал Израиль, Я поднял Свою руку над семьёй Иакова и поклялся им в Египте, сказав: „Я — Господь, ваш Бог”.

6 В тот день Я обещал вывести их из Египта и привести в землю, которую Я им отдал, в землю, текущую молоком и мёдом, лучшую из всех.

7 Я велел семье Израиля выбросить статуи лжебогов и не осквернять себя мерзкими египетскими идолами. Я — Господь, ваш Бог!

8 Но израильтяне отвернулись и отказались Меня слушать, они не выбросили грязных идолов, продолжая поклоняться египетским лжебогам. И тогда Я, Бог, решил показать им весь Свой гнев в Египте.

9 Но Я не уничтожил их полностью, потому что уже поклялся народам, среди которых они жили, что Я выведу Моих людей из Египта. Я не хотел погубить Моё доброе имя и поэтому не уничтожил Израиль на глазах у других людей.

10 Я вывел семью Израиля из Египта и привёл израильтян в пустыню.

11 Я дал им Мои законы, объяснил Мои повеления, исполняя которые, человек будет жить.

12 Я сказал им и о днях отдыха, которые были знамениями между Мной и ими, показывающими, что Я — Господь и что Я сделал их священными.

13 Но семья Израиля отвернулась от Меня в пустыне. Она не следовала Моим законам и отказалась им подчиняться, даже несмотря на то, что, принимая и исполняя эти законы, человек сохранит жизнь. Семья Израиля не придавала значения Моим субботам. Израильтяне неоднократно в этот день работали, и поэтому Я решил уничтожить их в пустыне, чтобы они почувствовали всю силу Моего гнева.

14 Но Я не уничтожил их, и другие народы видели, как Я вывел их из Египта. Я не хотел погубить Своё доброе имя и не уничтожил Израиль на глазах у других народов.

15 Я дал ещё одну клятву тем людям в пустыне, сказав, что не приведу их в землю, которую Я Сам для них приготовил; землю, текущую молоком и мёдом, лучшую среди всех других.

16 Люди Израиля отказались подчиняться Моим законам, не следовали Моим заветам, они относились к субботам как к чему-то неважному, и всё это делали они потому, что их сердца принадлежали грязным идолам.

17 Но Я испытывал к ним жалость и поэтому не уничтожил их в пустыне.

18 Я говорил с их детьми, сказав им: „Не уподобляйтесь вашим родителям, не оскверняйте себя, общаясь с грязными идолами, не подчиняйтесь их законам.

19 Я — Господь, Я — Бог ваш. Подчиняйтесь Моим за поведям, следуйте Моим повелениям, делайте то, что Я вам говорю.

20 Покажите, что Мои субботы важны для вас, помните, что они являются знамениями между Мной и вами. Я — Господь, и эти субботы служат вам напоминанием о том, что Я — ваш Бог”.

21 Но и дети отвернулись от Меня, не подчинились Моим заповедям, не следовали Моим повелениям и не делали того, что Я им говорил. Если человек хранит Мои законы, то этот человек будет жить. Они относились к Моим субботам как к чему-то неважному, и Я решил уничтожить их в пустыне, чтобы дать им понять всю силу Моего гнева.

22 Но Я сдержал себя, потому что другие народы видели, как Я выводил Израиль из Египта. Я не хотел погубить Моё доброе имя и поэтому не уничтожил израильтян на глазах у других народов.

23 Я дал им ещё одну клятву в пустыне, пообещав разбросать их среди других народов и послать в разные страны.

24 Люди Израиля не подчинялись Моим повелениям, отказались принимать Мои законы. Они не относились достойно к Моим субботам, поклоняясь грязным идолам своих отцов.

25 Поэтому Я дал им недобрые законы, дал повеления, которые не сохраняли их жизни.

26 Я позволил им оскверниться своими жертвоприношениями. Они стали приносить в жертву даже своих перворождённых детей, и тем самым Я бы уничтожил тех людей, чтобы они знали, что Я — Господь”.

27 Теперь, сын человеческий, обратись к семье Израиля и передай им, что Господь Всемогущий говорит: „Ваши предки говорили плохо обо Мне и строили против Меня злые планы.

28 Но всё же Я привёл их в обещанную Мной землю. Увидев холмы и зелёные деревья, они опять пошли туда для поклонения, взяв свои жертвы, оскорбительные для Меня. Они везде сжигали свои ароматные благовония и приносили жертвы возлияния.

29 Я спросил людей Израиля, почему они устремляются на эти высоты, которые до сих пор называются местами поклонения? ”»

30 Бог сказал: «Люди Израиля продолжали так поступать, поэтому скажи им: „Господь Всемогущий говорит: „Вы осквернили себя, как и ваши отцы, вы вели себя как блудница, вы оставили Меня ради ваших мерзких богов, которым поклонялись ваши предки.

31 Вы приносите идолам все те же дары, предаёте огню своих детей как подарок вашим лжебогам и оскверняетесь через поклонение вашим грязным идолам. Неужели вы и вправду думаете, что можете прийти ко Мне за советом? Я — Господь Всемогущий! Так же верно, как то, что Я жив, Я не отвечу на ваши вопросы и не дам вам совет.

32 Вы продолжаете говорить, что хотите быть как все остальные народы, вы живёте подобно им и служите дереву и камню (идолам)”».

33 Господь Всемогущий говорит: «Так же верно, как то, что Я жив, Я буду править вами в гневе. Я буду суровым и буду готов наказать вас всей Своей силой.

34 Я выведу вас из чужих стран. Я разбросал вас среди них, но Я соберу вас всех вместе и выведу из этих стран. Своей могущественной рукой Я покараю вас, я Свой гнев вам явлю.

35 Я приведу вас в пустыню, как и раньше, но на этот раз там будут жить многочисленные народы. Тогда мы встретимся лицом к лицу, и Я буду судить вас.

36 Я буду судить вас, как судил ваших предков в Египетской пустыне». Так сказал Господь Всемогущий.

37 «Я объявлю вас виновными и накажу в соответствии с соглашением.

38 Всех, кто от меня отвернулись и грешили против Меня, Я соберу и лишу их родины. Они никогда больше не ступят на землю Израиля. И тогда вы узнаете, что Я — Господь».

39 Теперь, семья Израиля, слушай, что говорит Господь: «Если кто-нибудь хочет поклоняться грязным идолам, то пусть поклоняется, но больше не думайте, что получите Мой совет. Вы больше не оскверните Моего имени вашими дарами и грязными идолами».

40 Господь Всемогущий говорит: «Люди должны прийти к Моей Святой горе, к высокой горе Израиля, и служить Мне. Вся семья Израиля будет жить на своей земле, в своей стране. Это и есть место, где вы можете спросить Моего совета, и вы должны прийти туда со своими приношениями, принести первую часть вашего урожая, все ваши святые дары.

41 Мне будет приятен сладостный запах ваших приношений. Это случится, когда Я приведу вас обратно. Я разбросал вас среди других народов, но Я вас соберу вместе и сделаю Моим избранным народом. И это увидят все народы.

42 Тогда вы поймёте, что Я — Господь, узнаете это, когда Я приведу вас обратно на землю Израиля, обещанную Мной вашим предкам.

43 Вы вспомните в той стране всё плохое, от чего вы осквернились, и тогда устыдитесь.

44 Семья Израиля, много плохого сделала ты, и ты должна быть уничтожена за свои грехи. Но, чтобы сохранить Моё доброе имя, Я не накажу вас, как вы того заслужили, и вы поймёте, что Я — Господь». Так сказал Господь Всемогущий.

45 И слово Господа опять пришло ко мне. Он сказал:

46 «Сын человеческий, посмотри в сторону Негева, южной части Иудеи, и скажи слово против лесов Негева.

47 Скажи лесу Негева: „Господь Всемогущий сказал: „Я готов зажечь огонь, который уничтожит все зелёные и все сухие деревья. Пламя не будет погашено, а вся земля от юга до севера будет сожжена этим огнём.

48 И все люди увидят, что Я, Господь, зажёг огонь, который нельзя погасить”».

49 Тогда я, Иезекииль, сказал: «О, Господь Всемогущий, если я это скажу, то люди подумают, что я рассказываю им небылицы, которым не суждено сбыться!»

12 Я сказал им и о днях отдыха, которые были знамениями между Мной и ими, показывающими, что Я — Господь и что Я сделал их священными.

13 But the house1004 of Israel3478 rebelled4784 against me in the wilderness:4057 they walked1980 not in my statutes,2708 and they despised3988 my judgments,4941 which834 if a man120 do,6213 he shall even live2425 in them; and my sabbaths7676 they greatly3966 polluted:2490 then I said,559 I would pour8210 out my fury2534 on them in the wilderness,4057 to consume3615 them.

13 Но семья Израиля отвернулась от Меня в пустыне. Она не следовала Моим законам и отказалась им подчиняться, даже несмотря на то, что, принимая и исполняя эти законы, человек сохранит жизнь. Семья Израиля не придавала значения Моим субботам. Израильтяне неоднократно в этот день работали, и поэтому Я решил уничтожить их в пустыне, чтобы они почувствовали всю силу Моего гнева.

14 But I worked6213 for my name's8034 sake,4616 that it should not be polluted2490 before5869 the heathen,1471 in whose834 sight5869 I brought3318 them out.

14 Но Я не уничтожил их, и другие народы видели, как Я вывел их из Египта. Я не хотел погубить Своё доброе имя и не уничтожил Израиль на глазах у других народов.

15 Yet also1571 I lifted5375 up my hand3027 to them in the wilderness,4057 that I would not bring935 them into413 the land776 which834 I had given5414 them, flowing2100 with milk2461 and honey,1706 which1958 is the glory of all3605 lands;776

15 Я дал ещё одну клятву тем людям в пустыне, сказав, что не приведу их в землю, которую Я Сам для них приготовил; землю, текущую молоком и мёдом, лучшую среди всех других.

16 Because3282 they despised3988 my judgments,4941 and walked1980 not in my statutes,2708 but polluted2490 my sabbaths:7676 for their heart3820 went1980 after310 their idols.1544

16 Люди Израиля отказались подчиняться Моим законам, не следовали Моим заветам, они относились к субботам как к чему-то неважному, и всё это делали они потому, что их сердца принадлежали грязным идолам.

17 Nevertheless my eye5869 spared2347 them from destroying7843 them, neither3808 did I make6213 an end3615 of them in the wilderness.4057

17 Но Я испытывал к ним жалость и поэтому не уничтожил их в пустыне.

18 But I said559 to their children1121 in the wilderness,4057 Walk3212 you not in the statutes2706 of your fathers,1 neither408 observe8104 their judgments,4941 nor408 defile2930 yourselves with their idols:1544

18 Я говорил с их детьми, сказав им: „Не уподобляйтесь вашим родителям, не оскверняйте себя, общаясь с грязными идолами, не подчиняйтесь их законам.

19 I am the LORD3068 your God;430 walk3212 in my statutes,2708 and keep8104 my judgments,4941 and do6213 them;

19 Я — Господь, Я — Бог ваш. Подчиняйтесь Моим за поведям, следуйте Моим повелениям, делайте то, что Я вам говорю.

20 And hallow6942 my sabbaths;7676 and they shall be a sign226 between996 me and you, that you may know3045 that I am the LORD3068 your God.430

20 Покажите, что Мои субботы важны для вас, помните, что они являются знамениями между Мной и вами. Я — Господь, и эти субботы служат вам напоминанием о том, что Я — ваш Бог”.

21 Notwithstanding the children1121 rebelled4784 against me: they walked1980 not in my statutes,2708 neither3808 kept8104 my judgments4941 to do6213 them, which834 if a man120 do,6213 he shall even live2425 in them; they polluted2490 my sabbaths:7676 then I said,559 I would pour8210 out my fury2534 on them, to accomplish3615 my anger639 against them in the wilderness.4057

21 Но и дети отвернулись от Меня, не подчинились Моим заповедям, не следовали Моим повелениям и не делали того, что Я им говорил. Если человек хранит Мои законы, то этот человек будет жить. Они относились к Моим субботам как к чему-то неважному, и Я решил уничтожить их в пустыне, чтобы дать им понять всю силу Моего гнева.

22 Nevertheless I withdrew7725 my hand,3027 and worked6213 for my name's8034 sake,4616 that it should not be polluted2490 in the sight5869 of the heathen,1471 in whose834 sight5869 I brought3318 them forth.3318

22 Но Я сдержал себя, потому что другие народы видели, как Я выводил Израиль из Египта. Я не хотел погубить Моё доброе имя и поэтому не уничтожил израильтян на глазах у других народов.

23 I lifted5375 up my hand3027 to them also1571 in the wilderness,4057 that I would scatter6327 them among the heathen,1471 and disperse2219 them through the countries;776

23 Я дал им ещё одну клятву в пустыне, пообещав разбросать их среди других народов и послать в разные страны.

24 Because3282 they had not executed6213 my judgments,4941 but had despised3988 my statutes,2708 and had polluted2490 my sabbaths,7676 and their eyes5869 were after310 their fathers'1 idols.1544

24 Люди Израиля не подчинялись Моим повелениям, отказались принимать Мои законы. Они не относились достойно к Моим субботам, поклоняясь грязным идолам своих отцов.

25 Why I gave5414 them also1571 statutes2706 that were not good,2896 and judgments4941 whereby they should not live;2421

25 Поэтому Я дал им недобрые законы, дал повеления, которые не сохраняли их жизни.

26 And I polluted2930 them in their own gifts,4979 in that they caused to pass5674 through the fire all3605 that opens6363 the womb,7356 that I might make them desolate,8074 to the end4616 that they might know3045 that I am the LORD.3068

26 Я позволил им оскверниться своими жертвоприношениями. Они стали приносить в жертву даже своих перворождённых детей, и тем самым Я бы уничтожил тех людей, чтобы они знали, что Я — Господь”.

27 Therefore,3651 son1121 of man,120 speak1696 to the house1004 of Israel,3478 and say559 to them, Thus3541 said559 the Lord136 GOD;3069 Yet5750 in this2063 your fathers1 have blasphemed1442 me, in that they have committed4603 a trespass4604 against me.

27 Теперь, сын человеческий, обратись к семье Израиля и передай им, что Господь Всемогущий говорит: „Ваши предки говорили плохо обо Мне и строили против Меня злые планы.

28 For when I had brought935 them into413 the land,776 for the which834 I lifted5375 up my hand3027 to give5414 it to them, then they saw7200 every3605 high7311 hill,1389 and all3605 the thick5687 trees,6086 and they offered2076 there8033 their sacrifices,2077 and there8033 they presented5414 the provocation3708 of their offering:7133 there8033 also they made7760 their sweet5207 smell,7381 and poured5258 out there8033 their drink5262 offerings.

28 Но всё же Я привёл их в обещанную Мной землю. Увидев холмы и зелёные деревья, они опять пошли туда для поклонения, взяв свои жертвы, оскорбительные для Меня. Они везде сжигали свои ароматные благовония и приносили жертвы возлияния.

29 Then I said559 to them, What4100 is the high1116 place whereunto834 8033 you go?935 And the name8034 whereof is called7121 Bamah1117 to this2088 day.3117

29 Я спросил людей Израиля, почему они устремляются на эти высоты, которые до сих пор называются местами поклонения? ”»

30 Why3651 say559 to the house1004 of Israel,3478 Thus3541 said559 the Lord136 GOD;3069 Are you polluted2930 after the manner1870 of your fathers?1 and commit2181 you prostitution2181 after310 their abominations?8251

30 Бог сказал: «Люди Израиля продолжали так поступать, поэтому скажи им: „Господь Всемогущий говорит: „Вы осквернили себя, как и ваши отцы, вы вели себя как блудница, вы оставили Меня ради ваших мерзких богов, которым поклонялись ваши предки.

31 For when you offer5375 your gifts,4979 when you make your sons1121 to pass5674 through the fire,784 you pollute2930 yourselves with all3605 your idols,1544 even to this day:3117 and shall I be inquired1875 of by you, O house1004 of Israel?3478 As I live,2416 said5002 the Lord136 GOD,3069 I will not be inquired of by you.

31 Вы приносите идолам все те же дары, предаёте огню своих детей как подарок вашим лжебогам и оскверняетесь через поклонение вашим грязным идолам. Неужели вы и вправду думаете, что можете прийти ко Мне за советом? Я — Господь Всемогущий! Так же верно, как то, что Я жив, Я не отвечу на ваши вопросы и не дам вам совет.

32 And that which comes5927 into5921 your mind7307 shall not be at all, that you say,559 We will be as the heathen,1471 as the families4940 of the countries,776 to serve8334 wood6086 and stone.68

32 Вы продолжаете говорить, что хотите быть как все остальные народы, вы живёте подобно им и служите дереву и камню (идолам)”».

33 As I live, said5002 the Lord136 GOD,3069 surely518 3808 with a mighty2389 hand,3027 and with a stretched5186 out arm,2220 and with fury2534 poured8210 out, will I rule4427 over you:

33 Господь Всемогущий говорит: «Так же верно, как то, что Я жив, Я буду править вами в гневе. Я буду суровым и буду готов наказать вас всей Своей силой.

34 And I will bring3318 you out from the people,5971 and will gather6908 you out of the countries776 wherein834 you are scattered,6327 with a mighty2389 hand,3027 and with a stretched5186 out arm,2220 and with fury2534 poured8210 out.

34 Я выведу вас из чужих стран. Я разбросал вас среди них, но Я соберу вас всех вместе и выведу из этих стран. Своей могущественной рукой Я покараю вас, я Свой гнев вам явлю.

35 And I will bring935 you into413 the wilderness4057 of the people,5971 and there8033 will I plead8199 with you face6440 to face.6440

35 Я приведу вас в пустыню, как и раньше, но на этот раз там будут жить многочисленные народы. Тогда мы встретимся лицом к лицу, и Я буду судить вас.

36 Like as I pleaded8199 with your fathers1 in the wilderness4057 of the land776 of Egypt,4714 so3651 will I plead8199 with you, said5002 the Lord136 GOD.3069

36 Я буду судить вас, как судил ваших предков в Египетской пустыне». Так сказал Господь Всемогущий.

37 And I will cause you to pass5674 under8478 the rod,7626 and I will bring935 you into the bond4562 of the covenant:1285

37 «Я объявлю вас виновными и накажу в соответствии с соглашением.

38 And I will purge1305 out from among you the rebels,4775 and them that transgress6586 against me: I will bring3318 them forth3318 out of the country776 where they sojourn,4033 and they shall not enter935 into413 the land127 of Israel:3478 and you shall know3045 that I am the LORD.3068

38 Всех, кто от меня отвернулись и грешили против Меня, Я соберу и лишу их родины. Они никогда больше не ступят на землю Израиля. И тогда вы узнаете, что Я — Господь».

39 As for you, O house1004 of Israel,3478 thus3541 said559 the Lord136 GOD;3069 Go3212 you, serve5647 you every376 one376 his idols,1544 and hereafter310 also, if518 you will not listen8085 to me: but pollute2490 you my holy6944 name8034 no3808 more5750 with your gifts,4979 and with your idols.1544

39 Теперь, семья Израиля, слушай, что говорит Господь: «Если кто-нибудь хочет поклоняться грязным идолам, то пусть поклоняется, но больше не думайте, что получите Мой совет. Вы больше не оскверните Моего имени вашими дарами и грязными идолами».

40 For in my holy6944 mountain,2022 in the mountain2022 of the height4791 of Israel,3478 said5002 the Lord136 GOD,3069 there8033 shall all3605 the house1004 of Israel,3478 all3605 of them in the land,776 serve5647 me: there8033 will I accept7521 them, and there8033 will I require1875 your offerings,8641 and the first fruits7225 of your oblations,4864 with all3605 your holy things.

40 Господь Всемогущий говорит: «Люди должны прийти к Моей Святой горе, к высокой горе Израиля, и служить Мне. Вся семья Израиля будет жить на своей земле, в своей стране. Это и есть место, где вы можете спросить Моего совета, и вы должны прийти туда со своими приношениями, принести первую часть вашего урожая, все ваши святые дары.

41 I will accept7521 you with your sweet5207 smell,7381 when I bring3318 you out from the people,5971 and gather6908 you out of the countries776 wherein you have been scattered;6327 and I will be sanctified6942 in you before5869 the heathen.1471

41 Мне будет приятен сладостный запах ваших приношений. Это случится, когда Я приведу вас обратно. Я разбросал вас среди других народов, но Я вас соберу вместе и сделаю Моим избранным народом. И это увидят все народы.

42 And you shall know3045 that I am the LORD,3068 when I shall bring935 you into413 the land127 of Israel,3478 into413 the country776 for the which834 I lifted5375 up my hand3027 to give5414 it to your fathers.1

42 Тогда вы поймёте, что Я — Господь, узнаете это, когда Я приведу вас обратно на землю Израиля, обещанную Мной вашим предкам.

43 And there8033 shall you remember2142 your ways,1870 and all3605 your doings,5949 wherein834 you have been defiled;2930 and you shall loathe6962 yourselves in your own sight6440 for all3605 your evils7451 that you have committed.6213

43 Вы вспомните в той стране всё плохое, от чего вы осквернились, и тогда устыдитесь.

44 And you shall know3045 that I am the LORD 3068when I have worked6213 with you for my name's8034 sake,4616 not according to your wicked7451 ways,1870 nor according to your corrupt7843 doings,5949 O you house1004 of Israel,3478 said5002 the Lord136 GOD.3069

44 Семья Израиля, много плохого сделала ты, и ты должна быть уничтожена за свои грехи. Но, чтобы сохранить Моё доброе имя, Я не накажу вас, как вы того заслужили, и вы поймёте, что Я — Господь». Так сказал Господь Всемогущий.

45 Moreover the word1697 of the LORD3068 came1961 to me, saying,559

45 И слово Господа опять пришло ко мне. Он сказал:

46 Son1121 of man,120 set7760 your face6440 toward1870 the south,8486 and drop5197 your word toward413 the south,1864 and prophesy5012 against413 the forest3293 of the south5045 field;7704

46 «Сын человеческий, посмотри в сторону Негева, южной части Иудеи, и скажи слово против лесов Негева.

47 And say559 to the forest3293 of the south,5045 Hear8085 the word1697 of the LORD;3068 Thus3541 said559 the Lord136 GOD;3069 Behold,2005 I will kindle3341 a fire784 in you, and it shall devour398 every3605 green3892 tree6086 in you, and every3605 dry3002 tree:6086 the flaming3852 flame7957 shall not be quenched,3518 and all3605 faces6440 from the south5045 to the north6828 shall be burned6866 therein.

47 Скажи лесу Негева: „Господь Всемогущий сказал: „Я готов зажечь огонь, который уничтожит все зелёные и все сухие деревья. Пламя не будет погашено, а вся земля от юга до севера будет сожжена этим огнём.

48 And all3605 flesh1320 shall see7200 that I the LORD3068 have kindled1197 it: it shall not be quenched.3518

48 И все люди увидят, что Я, Господь, зажёг огонь, который нельзя погасить”».

49 Then said559 I, Ah162 Lord136 GOD!3069 they say559 of me, Does he not speak4911 parables?4912

49 Тогда я, Иезекииль, сказал: «О, Господь Всемогущий, если я это скажу, то люди подумают, что я рассказываю им небылицы, которым не суждено сбыться!»
