6 If you oppress6231 not the stranger,1616 the fatherless,3490 and the widow,490 and shed8210 not innocent5355 blood1818 in this2088 place,4725 neither3808 walk3212 after310 other312 gods430 to your hurt:7451

7 Then will I cause you to dwell7931 in this2088 place,4725 in the land776 that I gave5414 to your fathers,1 for ever5769 and ever.5769

11 Is this2088 house,1004 which834 is called7121 by my name,8034 become1961 a den4631 of robbers6530 in your eyes?5869 Behold,2009 even1571 I have seen7200 it, said5002 the LORD.3068

12 But go3212 you now4994 to my place4725 which834 was in Shiloh,7887 where834 8033 I set7931 my name8034 at the first,7223 and see7200 what853 834 I did6213 to it for the wickedness7451 of my people5971 Israel.3478

13 And now,4994 because3282 you have done6213 all3605 these428 works,4639 said5002 the LORD,3068 and I spoke1696 to you, rising7925 up early7925 and speaking,1696 but you heard8085 not; and I called7121 you, but you answered6030 not;

14 Therefore will I do6213 to this house,1004 which834 is called7121 by my name,8034 wherein834 you trust,982 and to the place4725 which834 I gave5414 to you and to your fathers,1 as I have done6213 to Shiloh.7887

15 And I will cast7993 you out of my sight,6440 as I have cast7993 out all3605 your brothers,251 even853 the whole3605 seed2233 of Ephraim.669

16 Therefore pray6419 not you for this2088 people,5971 neither408 lift5375 up cry7440 nor408 prayer8605 for them, neither408 make intercession6293 to me: for I will not hear8085 you.

17 See7200 you not what4100 they do6213 in the cities5892 of Judah3063 and in the streets2351 of Jerusalem?3389

18 The children1121 gather3950 wood,6086 and the fathers1 kindle1197 the fire,784 and the women802 knead3888 their dough,1217 to make6213 cakes3561 to the queen4446 of heaven,8064 and to pour5258 out drink5262 offerings5262 to other312 gods,430 that they may provoke me to anger.3707

19 Do they provoke me to anger?3707 said5002 the LORD:3068 do they not provoke themselves to the confusion1322 of their own faces?6440

20 Therefore3651 thus3541 said559 the Lord136 GOD;3069 Behold,2009 my anger639 and my fury2534 shall be poured5413 out on this2088 place,4725 on man,120 and on beast,929 and on the trees6086 of the field,7704 and on the fruit6529 of the ground;127 and it shall burn,1197 and shall not be quenched.3518

21 Thus3541 said559 the LORD3068 of hosts,6635 the God430 of Israel;3478 Put5595 your burnt5930 offerings to your sacrifices,2077 and eat398 flesh.1320

22 For I spoke1696 not to your fathers,1 nor3808 commanded6680 them in the day3117 that I brought3318 them out of the land776 of Egypt,4714 concerning5921 1697 burnt5930 offerings or sacrifices:2077

23 But this2088 thing1697 commanded6680 I them, saying,559 Obey8085 my voice,6963 and I will be your God,430 and you shall be my people:5971 and walk1980 you in all3605 the ways1870 that I have commanded6680 you, that it may be well3190 to you.

24 But they listened8085 not, nor3808 inclined5186 their ear,241 but walked3212 in the counsels4156 and in the imagination8307 of their evil7451 heart,3820 and went1961 backward,268 and not forward.6440

25 Since4480 the day3117 that your fathers1 came3318 forth3318 out of the land776 of Egypt4714 to this2088 day3117 I have even sent7971 to you all3605 my servants5650 the prophets,5030 daily3117 rising7925 up early7925 and sending7971 them:

26 Yet they listened8085 not to me, nor3808 inclined5186 their ear,241 but hardened7185 their neck:6202 they did worse7489 than their fathers.1

27 Therefore you shall speak1696 all3605 these428 words1697 to them; but they will not listen8085 to you: you shall also call7121 to them; but they will not answer6030 you.

28 But you shall say559 to them, This2088 is a nation1471 that obeys8085 not the voice6963 of the LORD3068 their God,430 nor3808 receives3947 correction:4148 truth530 is perished,6 and is cut3772 off from their mouth.6310

29 Cut1494 off your hair,5145 O Jerusalem, and cast7993 it away, and take5375 up a lamentation7015 on5921 high8205 places; for the LORD3068 has rejected3988 and forsaken5203 the generation1755 of his wrath.5678

30 For the children1121 of Judah3063 have done6213 evil7451 in my sight,5869 said5002 the LORD:3068 they have set7760 their abominations8251 in the house1004 which834 is called7121 by my name,8034 to pollute2930 it.

31 And they have built1129 the high1116 places of Tophet,8612 which834 is in the valley1516 of the son1121 of Hinnom,2011 to burn8313 their sons1121 and their daughters1323 in the fire;784 which834 I commanded6680 them not, neither3808 came5927 it into5921 my heart.3820

32 Therefore,3651 behold,2009 the days3117 come,935 said5002 the LORD,3068 that it shall no3808 more5750 be called559 Tophet,8612 nor the valley1516 of the son1121 of Hinnom,2011 but the valley1516 of slaughter:2028 for they shall bury6912 in Tophet,8612 till there be no369 place.4725

33 And the carcasses5038 of this2088 people5971 shall be meat3978 for the fowls5775 of the heaven,8064 and for the beasts929 of the earth;776 and none369 shall fray2729 them away.

34 Then will I cause to cease7673 from the cities5892 of Judah,3063 and from the streets2351 of Jerusalem,3389 the voice6963 of mirth,8342 and the voice6963 of gladness,8057 the voice6963 of the bridegroom,2860 and the voice6963 of the bride:3618 for the land776 shall be desolate.2723

5 Если вы действительно оставите свои нечестивые мысли и дела и будете поступать друг с другом справедливо,

6 если не будете притеснять чужеземцев, сирот и вдов и проливать невинную кровь на этом месте, если себе же во вред не будете следовать за чужими богами,

7 то Я позволю вам жить на этом месте, на земле, которую Я дал вашим предкам навеки.

8 Но вот, вы полагаетесь на лживые слова, в которых нет прока.

9 Вы крадёте и убиваете, нарушаете супружескую верность и лжесвидетельствуете, возжигаете благовония Баалу и следуете за чужими богами, которых прежде не знали,

10 а потом приходите, встаёте предо Мной в этом доме, в котором Я пребываю, и говорите: „Мы спасены“ – лишь для того, чтобы вновь совершать все эти мерзости?

11 Разве не превратили вы дом, в котором Я пребываю, в разбойничье логово? Но Я всё это вижу, – возвещает Вечный.

12 Пойдите в Моё святилище в Шило, где Я прежде устроил дом для поклонения Мне, и посмотрите, что Я с ним сделал за злодеяния Моего народа Исраила.

13 Пока вы предавались этим порокам, – возвещает Вечный, – Я снова и снова говорил с вами, а вы не слушали; Я звал вас, а вы не отвечали.

14 То же, что Я сделал с Шило, Я сделаю и с домом, в котором пребываю, с храмом, на который вы полагаетесь, с местом, которое Я дал вам и вашим отцам.

15 Я отвергну вас от Себя, как отверг ваших братьев, народ Ефраима ».

16 – А ты не молись за этот народ, не проси за них в молитвах; не умоляй Меня, Я не стану тебя слушать.

17 Разве ты не видишь, что они делают в городах Иудеи и на улицах Иерусалима?

18 Дети собирают дрова, отцы разводят огонь, а женщины месят тесто и пекут лепёшки для богини неба. . Они совершают жертвенные возлияния чужим богам, чтобы разгневать Меня.

19 Но Мне ли они делают хуже? – возвещает Вечный. – Нет, самим себе, к своему стыду!

20 Поэтому так говорит Владыка Вечный: – Мой яростный гнев обрушится на эту землю, на людей и скот, на деревья в поле и на плоды земли, он будет пылать, не угасая.

21 Так говорит Вечный, Повелитель Сил, Бог Исраила: – Ваши жертвы не угодны Мне! Так что ешьте мясо жертв сами, даже то, которое нужно полностью сжечь.

22 Ведь когда Я вывел ваших предков из Египта, Я не просто говорил и давал им повеления о всесожжениях и жертвах,

23 но и повелел им: «Слушайтесь Меня, и Я буду вашим Богом, а вы – Моим народом. Исполняйте то, что Я вам велю, и тогда вы будете благополучны».

24 Но они не послушали и не вняли Моим словам, и по своему упрямству жили по собственным замыслам, шли назад, а не вперёд.

25 С того дня, как ваши предки покинули Египет, и до этого дня, день за днём, снова и снова Я посылал к вам Моих рабов пророков.

26 Но вы не слушали и не внимали им. Вы были упрямыми и делали ещё больше зла, чем ваши предки.

27 Когда ты будешь говорить им всё это, они не станут тебя слушать, и когда будешь звать их, они не ответят.

28 Поэтому скажи им: «Вот народ, который не слушается Вечного, своего Бога, и не принимает наставлений. Истина погибла, она исчезла с их уст.

29 Обрей свои волосы и выбрось; подними на голых вершинах плач, потому что Вечный отверг и покинул поколение, которое Его разгневало».

30 – Народ Иудеи делал зло в Моих глазах, – возвещает Вечный. – Они поставили свои ничтожные идолы в доме, в котором Я пребываю, осквернив его.

31 В долине Бен-Гинном они приготовили место для жертвоприношений, которое называется Тофет, чтобы сжигать там своих сыновей и дочерей, чего Я не повелевал, о чём даже не думал.

32 Но теперь приближаются дни, – возвещает Вечный, – когда люди будут называть эту долину уже не Тофетом или долиной Бен-Гинном, а долиной Бойни, так как в Тофете будут хоронить мёртвых до тех пор, пока там не останется места.

33 Трупы этого народа станут пищей птицам в небе и зверям на земле, и некому будет их отпугнуть.

34 Я положу конец крикам радости и веселья, не слышны будут в городах Иудеи и на улицах Иерусалима голоса невесты и жениха, потому что страна будет опустошена.

11 Разве не превратили вы дом, в котором Я пребываю, в разбойничье логово? Но Я всё это вижу, – возвещает Вечный.

14 То же, что Я сделал с Шило, Я сделаю и с домом, в котором пребываю, с храмом, на который вы полагаетесь, с местом, которое Я дал вам и вашим отцам.

15 And I will cast7993 you out of my sight,6440 as I have cast7993 out all3605 your brothers,251 even853 the whole3605 seed2233 of Ephraim.669

19 Но Мне ли они делают хуже? – возвещает Вечный. – Нет, самим себе, к своему стыду!

21 Так говорит Вечный, Повелитель Сил, Бог Исраила: – Ваши жертвы не угодны Мне! Так что ешьте мясо жертв сами, даже то, которое нужно полностью сжечь.

22 For I spoke1696 not to your fathers,1 nor3808 commanded6680 them in the day3117 that I brought3318 them out of the land776 of Egypt,4714 concerning5921 1697 burnt5930 offerings or sacrifices:2077

22 Ведь когда Я вывел ваших предков из Египта, Я не просто говорил и давал им повеления о всесожжениях и жертвах,

25 С того дня, как ваши предки покинули Египет, и до этого дня, день за днём, снова и снова Я посылал к вам Моих рабов пророков.

26 Но вы не слушали и не внимали им. Вы были упрямыми и делали ещё больше зла, чем ваши предки.
