1 In the tenth6224 year,8141 in the tenth6224 month, in the twelfth8147 6240 day of the month,2320 the word1697 of the LORD3068 came1961 to me, saying,559

2 Son1121 of man,120 set7760 your face6440 against5921 Pharaoh6547 king4428 of Egypt,4714 and prophesy5012 against5921 him, and against5921 all3605 Egypt:4714

3 Speak,1696 and say,559 Thus3541 said559 the Lord136 GOD;3069 Behold,2005 I am against5921 you, Pharaoh6547 king4428 of Egypt,4714 the great1419 dragon8577 that lies6437 in the middle8432 of his rivers,2975 which has said,559 My river2975 is my own, and I have made6213 it for myself.

4 But I will put5414 hooks2397 in your jaws,3895 and I will cause the fish1710 of your rivers2975 to stick1692 to your scales,7193 and I will bring5927 you up out of the middle8432 of your rivers,2975 and all3605 the fish1710 of your rivers2975 shall stick1692 to your scales.7193

5 And I will leave5203 you thrown into the wilderness,4057 you and all3605 the fish1710 of your rivers:2975 you shall fall5307 on the open6440 fields;7704 you shall not be brought622 together, nor3808 gathered:6908 I have given5414 you for meat402 to the beasts2416 of the field776 and to the fowls5775 of the heaven.8064

6 And all3605 the inhabitants3427 of Egypt4714 shall know3045 that I am the LORD,3068 because3282 they have been1961 a staff4938 of reed7070 to the house1004 of Israel.3478

7 When they took8610 hold8610 of you by your hand,3709 you did break,7533 and rend1234 all3605 their shoulder:3802 and when they leaned8172 on you, you brake,7665 and made all3605 their loins4975 to be at a stand.5976

8 Therefore3651 thus3541 said559 the Lord136 GOD;3069 Behold,2005 I will bring935 a sword2719 on you, and cut3772 off man120 and beast929 out of you.

9 And the land776 of Egypt4714 shall be desolate8077 and waste;2723 and they shall know3045 that I am the LORD:3068 because3282 he has said,559 The river2975 is mine, and I have made6213 it.

10 Behold,2005 therefore3651 I am against413 you, and against413 your rivers,2975 and I will make5414 the land776 of Egypt4714 utterly waste2723 and desolate,8077 from the tower4024 of Syene5482 even to the border1366 of Ethiopia.3568

11 No3808 foot7272 of man120 shall pass5674 through it, nor3808 foot7272 of beast929 shall pass5674 through it, neither3808 shall it be inhabited3427 forty705 years.8141

12 And I will make5414 the land776 of Egypt4714 desolate8077 in the middle8432 of the countries776 that are desolate,8074 and her cities5892 among8432 the cities5892 that are laid waste2717 shall be desolate8077 forty705 years:8141 and I will scatter6327 the Egyptians4714 among the nations,1471 and will disperse2219 them through the countries.776

13 Yet3588 thus3541 said559 the Lord136 GOD;3069 At the end7093 of forty705 years8141 will I gather6908 the Egyptians4714 from the people5971 where834 8033 they were scattered:6327

14 And I will bring7725 again7725 the captivity7622 of Egypt,4714 and will cause them to return7725 into the land776 of Pathros,6624 into5921 the land776 of their habitation;4351 and they shall be there8033 a base8217 kingdom.4467

15 It shall be the basest8217 of the kingdoms;4467 neither3808 shall it exalt5375 itself any more above5921 the nations:1471 for I will diminish4591 them, that they shall no3808 more rule7287 over5921 the nations.1471

16 And it shall be no3808 more5750 the confidence4009 of the house1004 of Israel,3478 which brings2142 their iniquity5771 to remembrance,2142 when they shall look6437 after310 them: but they shall know3045 that I am the Lord136 GOD.3069

17 And it came1961 to pass in the seven7651 and twentieth6242 year,8141 in the first7223 month, in the first259 day of the month,2320 the word1697 of the LORD3068 came1961 to me, saying,559

18 Son1121 of man,120 Nebuchadrezzar5019 king4428 of Babylon894 caused his army2428 to serve5647 a great1419 service5656 against413 Tyrus:6865 every3605 head7218 was made bald,7139 and every3605 shoulder3802 was peeled:4803 yet had1961 he no3808 wages,7939 nor his army,2428 for Tyrus,6865 for the service5656 that he had served5647 against5921 it:

19 Therefore3651 thus3541 said559 the Lord136 GOD;3069 Behold,2005 I will give5414 the land776 of Egypt4714 to Nebuchadrezzar5019 king4428 of Babylon;894 and he shall take5375 her multitude,1995 and take962 her spoil,7997 and take962 her prey;957 and it shall be the wages7939 for his army.2428

20 I have given5414 him the land776 of Egypt4714 for his labor6468 with which834 he served5647 against it, because834 they worked6213 for me, said5002 the Lord136 GOD.3069

21 In that day3117 will I cause the horn7161 of the house1004 of Israel3478 to bud6779 forth, and I will give5414 you the opening6610 of the mouth6310 in the middle8432 of them; and they shall know3045 that I am the LORD.3068

2 – Смертный, обрати лицо к фараону, царю Египта, и пророчествуй против него и против всего Египта.

3 Говори с ним и скажи: Так говорит Владыка Вечный:
«Я твой враг, фараон, царь Египта, чудовищный крокодил, что в реках своих разлёгся.„Нил мой, – говоришь ты, – я создал его для себя“.

4 Я продену крюк в твои челюсти, и рыбу из рек твоих приклею к твоей чешуе.Я вытащу тебя из твоих рек с рыбой, прилипшей к твоей чешуе.

5 Я брошу тебя в пустыню, тебя и рыбу из твоих рек.Ты упадёшь в открытом поле – не подберут тебя, не поднимут.Я отдам тебя в пищу земному зверью и небесным птицам.

6 Тогда все жители Египта узнают, что Я – Вечный.Ты был посохом из тростника для народа Исраила.

7 Когда они брались за тебя, ты расщеплялся и ранил им руки; когда они опирались на тебя, ты ломался, и их ноги теряли устойчивость».

8 Поэтому так говорит Владыка Вечный: «Я наведу на тебя меч и истреблю твоих жителей и их скот.

9 Египет станет безлюдной пустыней. Тогда они узнают, что Я – Вечный. За то, что ты сказал: „Нил – мой; это я его создал“,

10 Я – твой враг и враг твоих рек. Я превращу землю Египта в мёртвую пустыню от Мигдола на севере до Сиены на юге, до самой границы с Эфиопией.

11 Не будет ступать по ней ни нога человека, ни нога животного; она будет необитаемой сорок лет.

12 Я сделаю землю Египта пустыней среди опустошённых земель, и её города будут безлюдными среди опустевших городов сорок лет. Я рассею египтян между другими народами и развею их по чужим землям».

13 Ведь так говорит Владыка Вечный: «По прошествии сорока лет Я соберу египтян из народов, среди которых они были рассеяны.

14 Я восстановлю и возвращу их в Верхний Египет, . землю их предков. Они будут там слабым царством,

15 самым слабым из царств, и никогда впредь не возвысятся над другими народами. Я так ослаблю их, что они впредь не смогут править народами.

16 Египет больше не будет опорой для Исраила; он будет напоминанием людям о грехе, который они совершили, обращаясь к нему за помощью. Тогда они узнают, что Я – Владыка Вечный».

17 В двадцать седьмом году, в первый день первого месяца (26 апреля 571 г. до н. э.), было ко мне слово Вечного:

18 – Смертный, Навуходоносор, царь Вавилона, заставил своё войско немало потрудиться под Тиром: все головы оплешивели, все плечи натёрты от непосильного труда. Но ни он, ни его войско ничего не получили от Тира в уплату за труды.

19 Поэтому так говорит Владыка Вечный: – Я отдам Навуходоносору, царю Вавилона, землю Египта, и он захватит её богатства. Он оберёт и разграбит её, чтобы заплатить войску.

20 Я отдаю ему Египет в награду за труды, потому что он и его войско трудились для Меня, – возвещает Владыка Вечный.

21 В тот день Я сделаю Исраил сильным и дам тебе что им сказать, и узнают, что Я – Вечный.

4 Я продену крюк в твои челюсти, и рыбу из рек твоих приклею к твоей чешуе.Я вытащу тебя из твоих рек с рыбой, прилипшей к твоей чешуе.

5 And I will leave5203 you thrown into the wilderness,4057 you and all3605 the fish1710 of your rivers:2975 you shall fall5307 on the open6440 fields;7704 you shall not be brought622 together, nor3808 gathered:6908 I have given5414 you for meat402 to the beasts2416 of the field776 and to the fowls5775 of the heaven.8064

5 Я брошу тебя в пустыню, тебя и рыбу из твоих рек.Ты упадёшь в открытом поле – не подберут тебя, не поднимут.Я отдам тебя в пищу земному зверью и небесным птицам.

6 And all3605 the inhabitants3427 of Egypt4714 shall know3045 that I am the LORD,3068 because3282 they have been1961 a staff4938 of reed7070 to the house1004 of Israel.3478

6 Тогда все жители Египта узнают, что Я – Вечный.Ты был посохом из тростника для народа Исраила.

7 When they took8610 hold8610 of you by your hand,3709 you did break,7533 and rend1234 all3605 their shoulder:3802 and when they leaned8172 on you, you brake,7665 and made all3605 their loins4975 to be at a stand.5976

7 Когда они брались за тебя, ты расщеплялся и ранил им руки; когда они опирались на тебя, ты ломался, и их ноги теряли устойчивость».

8 Поэтому так говорит Владыка Вечный: «Я наведу на тебя меч и истреблю твоих жителей и их скот.

9 Египет станет безлюдной пустыней. Тогда они узнают, что Я – Вечный. За то, что ты сказал: „Нил – мой; это я его создал“,

10 Behold,2005 therefore3651 I am against413 you, and against413 your rivers,2975 and I will make5414 the land776 of Egypt4714 utterly waste2723 and desolate,8077 from the tower4024 of Syene5482 even to the border1366 of Ethiopia.3568

10 Я – твой враг и враг твоих рек. Я превращу землю Египта в мёртвую пустыню от Мигдола на севере до Сиены на юге, до самой границы с Эфиопией.

11 No3808 foot7272 of man120 shall pass5674 through it, nor3808 foot7272 of beast929 shall pass5674 through it, neither3808 shall it be inhabited3427 forty705 years.8141

11 Не будет ступать по ней ни нога человека, ни нога животного; она будет необитаемой сорок лет.

12 Я сделаю землю Египта пустыней среди опустошённых земель, и её города будут безлюдными среди опустевших городов сорок лет. Я рассею египтян между другими народами и развею их по чужим землям».

13 Ведь так говорит Владыка Вечный: «По прошествии сорока лет Я соберу египтян из народов, среди которых они были рассеяны.

14 Я восстановлю и возвращу их в Верхний Египет, . землю их предков. Они будут там слабым царством,
