11 Siehe2400, wir preisen3106 selig, die erduldet5278 haben191. Die Geduld5281 Hiobs2492 habt ihr gehöret, und2532 das Ende5056 des HErrn2962 habt ihr gesehen1492; denn3754 der HErr2962 ist2076 barmherzig4184 und2532 ein Erbarmer3629.

11 Behold,2400 we count3106 them happy3106 which endure.5278 You have heard191 of the patience5281 of Job,2492 and have seen1492 the end5056 of the Lord;2962 that the Lord2962 is very4184 pitiful,4184 and of tender3629 mercy.3629

12 Vor4253 allen Dingen aber1161, meine3450 Brüder80, schwöret3660 nicht3361, weder3383 bei dem5100 Himmel3772 noch3383 bei der Erde1093 noch3383 mit keinem andern243 Eide3727. Es sei aber1161 euer5216 Wort: Ja3483, das3956 ja3483 ist2277; und2532: Nein3756, das nein ist2277, auf daß3363 ihr nicht3756 in1519 Heuchelei5272 fallet4098.

15 Und2532 das Gebet2171 des846 Glaubens4102 wird5600 dem Kranken2577 helfen, und2532 der HErr2962 wird ihn aufrichten; und so2579 er846 hat1453 Sünden266 getan4160, werden1453 sie ihm4982 vergeben863 sein.

15 And the prayer2171 of faith4102 shall save4982 the sick,2577 and the Lord2962 shall raise1453 him up; and if he have committed4160 sins,266 they shall be forgiven863 him.

16 Bekenne1843 einer dem andern240 seine Sünden3900 und2532 betet2172 füreinander5228, daß3704 ihr2480 gesund2390 werdet. Des Gerechten1342 Gebet1162 vermag viel4183, wenn es ernstlich ist1754.

17 Elias2243 was a man444 subject3663 to like3663 passions3663 as we are, and he prayed4336 earnestly4335 that it might not rain:1026 and it rained1026 not on1909 the earth1093 by the space of three5140 years1763 and six1803 months.3376

19 Brothers,80 if1437 any1536 of you do err4105 from the truth,225 and one5100 convert1994 him;

20 der1537 soll wissen1097, daß3754, wer den Sünder268 bekehret hat1994 von1097 dem846 Irrtum4106 seines846 Weges3598, der hat einer See LE5590 vom1537 Tode2288 geholfen4982 und2532 wird bedecken2572 die Menge4128 der Sünden266.

20 Let him know,1097 that he which converts1994 the sinner268 from the error4106 of his way3598 shall save4982 a soul5590 from death,2288 and shall hide2572 a multitude4128 of sins.266
