1 Da kam935 Joseph3130 und6629 sagte5046 es Pharao6547 an und sprach559: Mein Vater1 und meine Brüder251, ihr klein und groß Vieh1241 und alles, was sie haben, sind935 kommen aus dem Lande776 Kanaan3667; und siehe, sie sind im Lande776 Gosen1657.

1 Then Joseph3130 came935 and told5046 Pharaoh,6547 and said,559 My father1 and my brothers,251 and their flocks,6629 and their herds,1241 and all3605 that they have, are come935 out of the land776 of Canaan;3667 and, behold,2009 they are in the land776 of Goshen.1657

2 Und er nahm3947 seiner jüngsten Brüder251 fünf2568 und stellete sie582 vor6440 Pharao6547.

2 And he took3947 some7097 of his brothers,251 even five2568 men,582 and presented3322 them to Pharaoh.6547

3 Da sprach559 Pharao6547 zu seinen Brüdern251: Was ist eure Nahrung4639? Sie559 antworteten: Deine Knechte5650 sind Viehhirten7462, wir und6547 unsere Väter1.

3 And Pharaoh6547 said559 to his brothers,251 What4100 is your occupation?4639 And they said559 to Pharaoh,6547 Your servants5650 are shepherds,7462 6629 both1571 we, and also1571 our fathers.1

4 Und6629 sagten559 weiter zu Pharao6547: Wir sind935 kommen, bei euch zu wohnen1481 im Lande776; denn deine Knechte5650 haben nicht Weide4829 für ihr3427 Vieh, so hart3515 drücket die Teurung das776 Land776 Kanaan3667; so laß doch nun deine Knechte5650 im Lande Gosen1657 wohnen.

4 They said559 morever to Pharaoh,6547 For to sojourn1481 in the land776 are we come;935 for your servants5650 have no369 pasture4829 for their flocks;6629 for the famine7458 is sore3515 in the land776 of Canaan:3667 now6258 therefore, we pray4994 you, let your servants5650 dwell3427 in the land776 of Goshen.1657

5 Pharao6547 sprach559 zu Joseph3130: Es ist935 dein Vater1 und559 sind deine Brüder251, die sind zu dir kommen;

5 And Pharaoh6547 spoke559 to Joseph,3130 saying,559 Your father1 and your brothers251 are come935 to you:

6 das776 Land776 Ägypten4714 stehet dir offen; laß3427 sie1 am besten4315 Ort des Landes776 wohnen3427, laß sie251 im Lande Gosen1657 wohnen3427; und so du3045 weißest, daß Leute582 unter6440 ihnen sind3426, die tüchtig2428 sind, so setze7760 sie über8269 mein Vieh4735.

6 The land776 of Egypt4714 is before6440 you; in the best4315 of the land776 make your father1 and brothers251 to dwell;3427 in the land776 of Goshen1657 let them dwell:3427 and if518 you know3045 any men582 of activity2428 among them, then make7760 them rulers8269 over5921 my cattle.4735

7 Joseph3130 brachte935 auch seinen Vater1 Jakob3290 hinein und5975 stellete ihn vor6440 Pharao6547. Und Jakob3290 segnete1288 den Pharao6547.

7 And Joseph3130 brought935 in Jacob3290 his father,1 and set5975 him before6440 Pharaoh:6547 and Jacob3290 blessed1288 Pharaoh.6547

8 Pharao6547 aber fragte Jakob3290: Wie4100 alt bist du559?
|
8 And Pharaoh6547 said559 to Jacob,3290 How4100 old3113 are you?
|
|
9 Jakob3290 sprach559 zu Pharao6547: Die Zeit3117 meiner Wallfahrt4033 ist hundertunddreißig3967 Jahre8141; wenig4592 und3117 böse7451 ist die Zeit3117 meines Lebens2416 und langet nicht an3117 die Zeit8141 meiner Väter1 in8141 ihrer Wallfahrt4033.

9 And Jacob3290 said559 to Pharaoh,6547 The days3117 of the years8141 of my pilgrimage4033 are an hundred3967 and thirty7970 years:8141 few4592 and evil7451 have the days3117 of the years8141 of my life2416 been,1961 and have not attained5381 to the days3117 of the years8141 of the life2416 of my fathers1 in the days3117 of their pilgrimage.4033

10 Und6547 Jakob3290 segnete1288 den6440 Pharao6547 und ging heraus von3318 ihm.

10 And Jacob3290 blessed1288 Pharaoh,6547 and went3318 out from before6440 Pharaoh.6547
|

11 Aber Joseph3130 schaffte3427 seinem Vater1 und776 seinen272 Brüdern251 Wohnung und gab5414 ihnen ein Gut in Ägyptenland4714 am besten4315 Ort des Landes776, nämlich im Lande776 Raemses7486, wie Pharao6547 geboten hatte6680.

11 And Joseph3130 placed3427 his father1 and his brothers,251 and gave5414 them a possession272 in the land776 of Egypt,4714 in the best4315 of the land,776 in the land776 of Rameses,7486 as Pharaoh6547 had commanded.6680
|

12 Und er3130 versorgte3557 seinen Vater1 und seine Brüder251 und das ganze Haus1004 seines Vaters1, einen jeglichen, nachdem6310 er Kinder2945 hatte.

12 And Joseph3130 nourished3557 his father,1 and his brothers,251 and all3605 his father's1 household,1004 with bread,3899 according6310 to their families.2945
|

13 Es war aber kein Brot3899 in allen Landen776; denn die Teurung war fast schwer3515, daß das776 Land776 Ägypten4714 und Kanaan3667 verschmachteten3856 vor6440 der Teurung.
|
13 And there was no369 bread3899 in all3605 the land;776 for the famine7458 was very3966 sore,3515 so that the land776 of Egypt4714 and all the land776 of Canaan3667 fainted3856 by reason6440 of the famine.7458
|
|
14 Und Joseph3130 brachte3950 alles Geld3701 zusammen, das776 in Ägypten4714 und Kanaan3667 funden ward4672 um das776 Getreide7668, das sie kauften7666; und Joseph3130 tat935 alles Geld3701 in das Haus1004 Pharaos6547.
|
14 And Joseph3130 gathered3950 up all3605 the money3701 that was found4672 in the land776 of Egypt,4714 and in the land776 of Canaan,3667 for the corn7668 which834 they bought:7666 and Joseph3130 brought935 the money3701 into Pharaoh's6547 house.1004
|

15 Da nun Geld3701 gebrach8552 im Lande776 Ägypten4714 und776 Kanaan3667, kamen935 alle Ägypter4714 zu Joseph3130 und sprachen559: Schaffe3051 uns Brot3899! Warum lässest du uns vor dir sterben4191, darum daß wir ohne656 Geld3701 sind?

15 And when money3701 failed8552 in the land776 of Egypt,4714 and in the land776 of Canaan,3667 all3605 the Egyptians4714 came935 to Joseph,3130 and said,559 Give3051 us bread:3899 for why4100 should we die4191 in your presence?5048 for the money3701 fails.656

16 Joseph3130 sprach559: Schaffet euer Vieh4735 her3051, so will ich euch um das Vieh4735 geben5414, weil ihr ohne656 Geld3701 seid.
|
16 And Joseph3130 said,559 Give3051 your cattle;4735 and I will give5414 you for your cattle,4735 if518 money3701 fail.656
|
|
17 Da brachten935 sie Joseph3130 ihr Vieh4735; und er3130 gab5414 ihnen Brot3899 um ihre Pferde5483, Schafe6629, Rinder1241 und Esel2543. Also ernährete er sie mit Brot3899 das Jahr8141 um all ihr Vieh4735.

17 And they brought935 their cattle4735 to Joseph:3130 and Joseph3130 gave5414 them bread3899 in exchange for horses,5483 and for the flocks,6629 and for the cattle4735 of the herds,1241 and for the asses:2543 and he fed5095 them with bread3899 for all3605 their cattle4735 for that year.8141

18 Da das Jahr8141 um war8552, kamen935 sie zu413 ihm im andern8145 Jahr8141 und sprachen559 zu ihm: Wir wollen unserm Herrn113 nicht verbergen3582, daß nicht allein das Geld3701, sondern auch alles8552 Vieh4735 dahin ist zu unserm Herrn113 und ist nichts mehr übrig7604 vor6440 unserm Herrn113 denn nur unsere Leiber1472 und unser Feld127.

18 When that year8141 was ended,8552 they came935 to him the second8145 year,8141 and said559 to him, We will not hide3582 it from my lord,113 how that our money3701 is spent;8552 my lord113 also has413 our herds4735 of cattle;929 there is not ought left7604 in the sight6440 of my lord,113 but our bodies,1472 and our lands:127

19 Warum lässest du uns vor5869 dir sterben4191 und5650 unser Feld127? Kaufe7069 uns und unser Land127 ums Brot3899, daß wir2421 und unser Land127 leibeigen seien dem Pharao6547; gib5414 uns Samen2233, daß wir leben und nicht sterben4191, und das Feld127 nicht verwüste.

19 Why4100 shall we die4191 before your eyes,5869 both1571 we and our land?127 buy7069 us and our land127 for bread,3899 and we and our land127 will be servants5650 to Pharaoh:6547 and give5414 us seed,2233 that we may live,2421 and not die,4191 that the land127 be not desolate.3456

20 Also kaufte7069 Joseph3130 dem Pharao6547 das776 ganze Ägypten4714. Denn die Ägypter4714 verkauften4376 ein376 jeglicher seinen Acker7704, denn die Teurung war zu stark über sie2388. Und ward also das Land127 Pharao6547 eigen.

20 And Joseph3130 bought7069 all3605 the land127 of Egypt4714 for Pharaoh;6547 for the Egyptians4714 sold4376 every man376 his field,7704 because3588 the famine7458 prevailed2388 over5921 them: so the land776 became1961 Pharaoh's.6547

21 Und1366 er teilete das Volk5971 aus in5674 die Städte5892, von7097 einem Ort7097 Ägyptens4714 bis ans andere.
|
21 And as for the people,5971 he removed5674 them to cities5892 from one end7097 of the borders1366 of Egypt4714 even to the other end7097 thereof.
|
|
22 Ausgenommen der Priester3548 Feld127, das kaufte7069 er nicht4376; denn es war von Pharao6547 für die Priester3548 verordnet2706, daß sie2706 sich nähren sollten398 von dem Benannten, das er ihnen gegeben5414 hatte; darum durften sie ihr Feld127 nicht verkaufen.

22 Only7535 the land127 of the priests3548 bought7069 he not; for the priests3548 had a portion2706 assigned them of Pharaoh,6547 and did eat398 their portion2706 which834 Pharaoh6547 gave5414 them: why5921 3651 they sold4376 not their lands.127

23 Da sprach559 Joseph3130 zu dem Volk5971: Siehe1887, ich habe heute3117 gekauft7069 euch und853 euer Feld127 dem Pharao6547; siehe, da habt ihr Samen2233 und besäet2232 das Feld127.
|
23 Then Joseph3130 said559 to the people,5971 Behold,2009 I have bought7069 you this day3117 and your land127 for Pharaoh:6547 see,1887 here is seed2233 for you, and you shall sow2232 the land.127
|
|
24 Und von3027 dem Getreide8393 sollt ihr den Fünften2549 Pharao6547 geben5414; vier702 Teile sollen euer sein398, zu besäen2233 das Feld7704, zu eurer Speise400 und für euer Haus1004 und Kinder2945.
|
24 And it shall come1961 to pass in the increase,8393 that you shall give5414 the fifth2549 part to Pharaoh,6547 and four702 parts3027 shall be your own, for seed2233 of the field,7704 and for your food,400 and for them of your households,1004 and for food398 for your little2945 ones.
|
|
25 Sie sprachen559: Laß4672 uns nur leben und5650 Gnade2580 vor5869 dir, unserm Herrn113, finden; wir2421 wollen gerne Pharao6547 leibeigen sein.
|
25 And they said,559 You have saved our lives:2421 let us find4672 grace2580 in the sight5869 of my lord,113 and we will be Pharaoh's6547 servants.5650
|
|
26 Also machte7760 Joseph3130 ihnen ein Gesetz2706 bis auf diesen Tag3117 über der Ägypter4714 Feld127, den Fünften2569 Pharao6547 zu geben; ausgenommen7535 der Priester3548 Feld127, das ward nicht eigen Pharao6547.
|
26 And Joseph3130 made7760 it a law2706 over5921 the land127 of Egypt4714 to this2088 day,3117 that Pharaoh6547 should have the fifth2569 part, except7535 the land127 of the priests3548 only,905 which became1961 not Pharaoh's.6547
|
|
27 Also wohnete Israel3478 in Ägypten4714, im Lande776 Gosen1657, und776 hatten3427 es inne270 und wuchsen6509 und mehreten sich sehr3966.
|
27 And Israel3478 dwelled3427 in the land776 of Egypt,4714 in the country776 of Goshen;1657 and they had possessions270 therein, and grew,6509 and multiplied7235 exceedingly.3966
|
|
28 Und7651 Jakob3290 lebte2421 siebenzehn Jahre8141 in8141 Ägyptenland776, daß sein ganzes Alter3117 ward hundertundsiebenundvierzig Jahre8141,
|
28 And Jacob3290 lived2421 in the land776 of Egypt4714 seventeen7651 6240 years:8141 so the whole age3117 of Jacob3290 was an hundred3967 forty705 and seven7651 years.8141

|
29 Da nun die Zeit3117 herbeikam7126, daß Israel3478 sterben4191 sollte, rief7121 er seinem Sohn1121 Joseph3130 und sprach559 zu6213 ihm: Habe4672 ich Gnade2580 vor5869 dir funden, so lege7760 deine Hand3027 unter meine Hüfte3409, daß du die Liebe2617 und Treue571 an mir tust und begrabest6912 mich nicht, in Ägypten4714;

29 And the time3117 drew near7126 that Israel3478 must die:4191 and he called7121 his son1121 Joseph,3130 and said559 to him, If518 now4994 I have found4672 grace2580 in your sight,5869 put,7760 I pray4994 you, your hand3027 under8478 my thigh,3409 and deal6213 kindly2617 and truly571 with me; bury6912 me not, I pray4994 you, in Egypt:4714

30 sondern ich will liegen7901 bei meinen Vätern1, und du sollst mich aus Ägypten4714 führen5375 und in ihrem Begräbnis6900 begraben6912. Er sprach: Ich will tun6213, wie du gesagt559 hast1697.
|
30 But I will lie7901 with my fathers,1 and you shall carry5375 me out of Egypt,4714 and bury6912 me in their burial plot.6913 And he said,559 I will do6213 as you have said.1697
|
|
31 Er aber sprach559: So schwöre7650 mir! Und er schwur7650 ihm. Da neigete sich7812 Israel3478 auf dem Bette4296 zu den Häupten7218.
|
31 And he said,559 Swear7650 to me. And he swore7650 to him. And Israel3478 bowed7812 himself on the bed's4296 head.7218
