2 Достались уделы и прочим3498 сынам1121 Манассии,4519 по племенам4940 их, и сынам1121 Авиезера,44 и сынам1121 Хелека,2507 и сынам1121 Асриила,844 и сынам1121 Шехема,7928 и сынам1121 Хефера,2660 и сынам1121 Шемиды.8061 Вот дети1121 Манассии,4519 сына1121 Иосифова,3130 мужеского2145 пола,2145 по племенам4940 их.

3 У Салпаада6765 же, сына1121 Хеферова,2660 сына1121 Галаадова,1568 сына1121 Махирова,4353 сына1121 Манассиина,4519 не было сыновей,1121 а только дочери.1323 Вот имена8034 дочерей1323 его: Махла,4244 Ноа,5270 Хогла,2295 Милка4435 и Фирца.8656

4 Они пришли7126 к3942 священнику3548 Елеазару499 и к3942 Иисусу,3091 сыну1121 Навину,5126 и к3942 начальникам,5387 и сказали:559 Господь3068 повелел6680 Моисею4872 дать5414 нам удел5159 между8432 братьями251 нашими. 7 Предел1366 Манассии4519 идет от Асира836 к Михмефафу,4366 который против59216440 Сихема;7927 отсюда предел1366 идет1980 направо3225 к жителям3427 Ен-Таппуаха.5887

8 Земля776 Таппуах8599 досталась Манассии,4519 а город Таппуах8599 у предела1366 Манассиина4519 — сынам1121 Ефремовым.669

9 Отсюда предел1366 нисходит3381 к потоку5158 Кане,7071 с южной5045 стороны5045 потока.5158 Города5892 сии принадлежат Ефрему,669 хотя находятся среди8432 городов5892 Манассии.4519 Предел1366 Манассии4519 — на северной6828 стороне6828 потока5158 и оканчивается8444 морем.3220

11 У Иссахара3485 и Асира836 принадлежат Манассии4519 Беф-Сан1052 и зависящие1323 от него места,1323 Ивлеам2991 и зависящие1323 от него места,1323 жители3427 Дора1756 и зависящие1323 от него места,1323 жители3427 Ен-Дора5874 и зависящие1323 от него места,1323 жители3427 Фаанаха8590 и зависящие1323 от него места,1323 жители3427 Мегиддона4023 и зависящие1323 от него места,1323 и третья7969 часть7969 Нафефа.5316

12 Сыны1121 Манассиины4519 не могли3201 выгнать3423 жителей городов5892 сих, и Хананеи3669 остались2974 жить3427 в земле776 сей.

13 Когда же сыны1121 Израилевы3478 пришли2388 в силу,2388 тогда Хананеев3669 сделали5414 они данниками,4522 но изгнать3423 не изгнали3423 их.

14 Сыны1121 Иосифа3130 говорили1696 Иисусу3091 и сказали:559 почему ты дал5414 мне в удел5159 один259 жребий1486 и один259 участок,2256 тогда как я многолюден,72275971 потому что5704 так3541 благословил1288 меня Господь?3068

15 Иисус3091 сказал559 им: если ты многолюден,72275971 то пойди5927 в леса3293 и там, в земле Ферезеев6522 и Рефаимов,7497 расчисти1254776 себе место, если гора2022 Ефремова669 для тебя тесна.213

16 Сыны1121 Иосифа3130 сказали:559 не останется4672 за нами гора,2022 потому что железные1270 колесницы7393 у всех Хананеев,3669 живущих3427776 на долине,6010 как у тех, которые в Беф-Сане1052 и в зависящих1323 от него местах,1323 так и у тех, которые на долине6010 Изреельской.3157

17 Но Иисус3091 сказал559 дому1004 Иосифову,3130 Ефрему669 и Манассии:4519 ты многолюден72275971 и сила3581 у тебя велика;1419 не один259 жребий1486 будет у тебя:

18 и гора2022 будет твоею, и лес3293 сей; ты расчистишь1254 его, и он будет твой до самого конца8444 его; ибо ты изгонишь3423 Хананеев,3669 хотя у них колесницы7393 железные,1270 и хотя они сильны.2389

Chapter 17

1 AND Gilead became the lot for the tribe of Manasseh; for he was the first-born of Joseph; to Machir the first-born of Manasseh, the father of Gilead; because he was the first-born and a man of war, therefore he had Gilead and Mathnin.

2 And became also the portion for the rest of the children of Manasseh by their families; for the descendants of Abiezer and for the descendants of Helek and for the descendants of Neshrael and for the descendants of Shopam and for the descendants of Hepher and for the descendants of Shemida; these were the male children of Manasseh the son of Joseph by their families.

3 But Zelophehad, the son of Hepher, the son of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, had no sons, but daughters; and these are the names of his daughters, Mahlah, and Joah, Hoglah, Milcah and Tirzah.

4 And they came near before Eleazar the priest, and before Joshua the son of Nun, and before the princes of Israel, saying, The LORD commanded Moses to give us an inheritance among our brethren; so he gave us according to the command of the LORD, among the brothers of our father. Now therefore give us an inheritance among the brethren of our father. So Joshua gave them an inheritance among the brethren of their father.

5 And there fell ten portions to Manasseh, besides the land of Gilead and Mathnin, which were on the other side of the Jordan;

6 Because the daughters of Manasseh received an inheritance among his sons; and the land of Gilead fell to the lot of the rest of the sons of Manasseh.

7 And the border of Manasseh was from the boundary of Maacath, which lies on the right hand of the inhabitants of En-tappuah.

8 Thus their land was in the region of Tappuah and Patah, which became the boundary to the descendants of Manasseh the son of Joseph, and to the Ephraimites;

9 And the boundary went down to the river of the Sea, to the south of the river of the cities which belong to Ephraim among the cities of Manasseh; and the border of Manasseh ran on the north side of the river, and the outgoings thereof reached to the sea;

10 The land to the south went to Ephraim, and that to the north to Manasseh, and the sea as their border; and they met together in Asher on the north, and in Issachar on the east.

11 And Manasseh had opposite Issachar and Asher, Beth-shean and its towns, and Neb-leam and its towns, and En-dor and its towns, and Taanach and its towns, and Megiddo and its towns, three districts.

12 Yet the Israelites could not destroy these cities, because the Canaanites took refuge and dwelt in them.

13 But when the children of Israel became strong, they subdued the Canaanites and made them pay tribute; but did not utterly destroy them.

14 And the descendants of Joseph spoke to Joshua, saying, Why have you given us but one portion to inherit, seeing we are a numerous people, forasmuch as the LORD has blessed us hitherto?

15 Joshua said to them, If you are a numerous people, then go up on the side of the mountain, and choose for yourselves a portion in the land of the Perizzites and of the giants, if mount Ephraim is too narrow for you.

16 And the descendants of Joseph said, The mountain and the cities of the Perizzites are not enough for us; for the Canaanites still dwell in the land of the valley, and in Beth-shean and its towns, and in the valley of Jezreel.

17 Then Joshua spoke to the house of Joseph, even to Ephraim and Manasseh, saying, You are a numerous people, and have a great power; if one portion is not enough for you,

18 Then choose for yourselves the mountain, and it will be enough for you, and the slopes of the mountain and its limits shall be yours; and you shall destroy the Canaanites and the Perizzites, though they have great iron chariots, and though they are strong.

6 Because the daughters of Manasseh received an inheritance among his sons; and the land of Gilead fell to the lot of the rest of the sons of Manasseh.

9 And the boundary went down to the river of the Sea, to the south of the river of the cities which belong to Ephraim among the cities of Manasseh; and the border of Manasseh ran on the north side of the river, and the outgoings thereof reached to the sea;

10 The land to the south went to Ephraim, and that to the north to Manasseh, and the sea as their border; and they met together in Asher on the north, and in Issachar on the east.

11 And Manasseh had opposite Issachar and Asher, Beth-shean and its towns, and Neb-leam and its towns, and En-dor and its towns, and Taanach and its towns, and Megiddo and its towns, three districts.

12 Сыны1121 Манассиины4519 не могли3201 выгнать3423 жителей городов5892 сих, и Хананеи3669 остались2974 жить3427 в земле776 сей.

12 Yet the Israelites could not destroy these cities, because the Canaanites took refuge and dwelt in them.

13 Когда же сыны1121 Израилевы3478 пришли2388 в силу,2388 тогда Хананеев3669 сделали5414 они данниками,4522 но изгнать3423 не изгнали3423 их.

13 But when the children of Israel became strong, they subdued the Canaanites and made them pay tribute; but did not utterly destroy them.
