1 И помни2142 Создателя1254 твоего в дни3117 юности979 твоей, доколе не пришли935 тяжелые7451 дни3117 и не наступили5060 годы,8141 о которых ты будешь559 говорить:559 «нет мне удовольствия2656 в них!»

1 Remember2142 now853 thy Creator1254 in the days3117 of thy youth,979 while5704 834 the evil7451 days3117 come935 not,3808 nor the years8141 draw nigh,5060 when834 thou shalt say,559 I have no369 pleasure2656 in them;

2 доколе не померкли2821 солнце8121 и свет216 и луна3394 и звезды,3556 и не нашли7725 новые тучи5645 вслед310 за310 дождем.1653

2 While5704 834 the sun,8121 or the light,216 or the moon,3394 or the stars,3556 be not3808 darkened,2821 nor the clouds5645 return7725 after310 the rain: 1653

3 В тот день,3117 когда задрожат2111 стерегущие8104 дом1004 и согнутся5791 мужи582 силы;2428 и перестанут988 молоть мелющие,2912 потому что их немного4591 осталось;4591 и помрачатся2821 смотрящие7200 в окно;699

3 In the day3117 when the keepers8104 of the house1004 shall tremble,7945 2111 and the strong2428 men376 shall bow themselves,5791 and the grinders2912 cease988 because3588 they are few,4591 and those that look7200 out of the windows699 be darkened,2821

4 и запираться5462 будут5462 двери1817 на улицу;7784 когда замолкнет8217 звук6963 жернова,2913 и будет6965 вставать6965 человек по крику6963 петуха6833 и замолкнут7817 дщери1323 пения;7892
|
4 And the doors1817 shall be shut5462 in the streets,7784 when the sound6963 of the grinding2913 is low,8213 and he shall rise up6965 at the voice6963 of the bird,6833 and all3605 the daughters1323 of music7892 shall be brought low;7817

|
5 и высоты1364 будут им страшны,3372 и на дороге1870 ужасы;2849 и зацветет5006 миндаль,8247 и отяжелеет5445 кузнечик,2284 и рассыплется6565 каперс.35 Ибо отходит1980 человек120 в вечный5769 дом1004 свой, и готовы окружить5437 его по улице7784 плакальщицы;5594 —

5 Also1571 when they shall be afraid3372 of that which is high,4480 1364 and fears2849 shall be in the way,1870 and the almond tree8247 shall flourish,5006 and the grasshopper2284 shall be a burden,5445 and desire35 shall fail:6565 because3588 man120 goeth1980 to413 his long5769 home,1004 and the mourners5594 go about5437 the streets: 7784

6 доколе не порвалась75767368 серебряная3701 цепочка,2256 и не разорвалась7533 золотая2091 повязка,1543 и не разбился7665 кувшин3537 у источника,4002 и не обрушилось7533 колесо1534 над колодезем.953

6 Or5704 ever834 3808 the silver3701 cord2256 be loosed,7368 or the golden2091 bowl1543 be broken,7533 or the pitcher3537 be broken7665 at5921 the fountain,4002 or the wheel1534 broken7533 at413 the cistern.953

7 И возвратится7725 прах6083 в землю,776 чем он и был; а дух7307 возвратится7725 к Богу,430 Который дал5414 его.

7 Then shall the dust6083 return7725 to5921 the earth776 as it was:7945 1961 and the spirit7307 shall return7725 unto413 God430 who834 gave5414 it.

8 Суета1892 сует,1892 сказал559 Екклесиаст,6953 все — суета!1892
|
8 Vanity1892 of vanities,1892 saith559 the preacher;6953 all3605 is vanity.1892
|
|
9 Кроме3148 того,3148 что Екклесиаст6953 был мудр,2450 он учил3925 еще народ5971 знанию.1847 Он все испытывал,239 исследовал,2713 и составил8626 много7235 притчей.4912

9 And moreover,3148 because the preacher6953 was7945 1961 wise,2450 he still5750 taught3925 853 the people5971 knowledge;1847 yea, he gave good heed,238 and sought out,2713 and set in order8626 many7235 proverbs.4912

10 Старался1245 Екклесиаст6953 приискивать4672 изящные2656 изречения,1697 и слова1697 истины571 написаны3789 им верно.3476

10 The preacher6953 sought1245 to find out4672 acceptable2656 words:1697 and that which was written3789 was upright,3476 even words1697 of truth.571

11 Слова1697 мудрых2450 — как иглы1861 и как вбитые5193 гвозди,4930 и составители1167627 их — от единого259 пастыря.7462

11 The words1697 of the wise2450 are as goads,1861 and as nails4930 fastened5193 by the masters1167 of assemblies,627 which are given5414 from one shepherd.4480 7462 259

12 А что сверх3148 всего этого, сын1121 мой, того берегись:2094 составлять6213 много7235 книг5612 — конца7093 не будет, и много7235 читать3854 — утомительно3024 для тела.1320
|
12 And further,3148 by these,4480 1992 my son,1121 be admonished:2094 of making6213 many7235 books5612 there is no369 end;7093 and much7235 study3854 is a weariness3024 of the flesh.1320

13 Выслушаем8085 сущность5490 всего:1697 бойся3372 Бога430 и заповеди4687 Его соблюдай,8104 потому что в этом все для человека;120
|
13 Let us hear8085 the conclusion5490 of the whole3605 matter:1697 Fear3372 853 God,430 and keep8104 his commandments:4687 for3588 this2088 is the whole3605 duty of man.120
|
|
14 ибо всякое дело4639 Бог430 приведет935 на суд,4941 и все тайное,5956 хорошо2896 ли оно, или худо.7451
|
14 For3588 God430 shall bring935 853 every3605 work4639 into judgment,4941 with5921 every3605 secret thing,5956 whether518 it be good,2896 or whether518 it be evil.7451
