Глава 12

1 За шесть дней до Пасхи Иисус пришёл в Вифанию, где жил Лазарь, которого Он воскресил из мёртвых.

2 Там для Него приготовили ужин, и Марфа прислуживала Ему за столом. Среди тех, кто ужинал с Ним вместе, был и Лазарь.

3 Мария взяла полмеры драгоценного благовонного масла, приготовленного из чистого нарда, вылила Его на ноги Иисуса и вытерла их своими волосами. Тогда весь дом наполнился благоуханием этого масла.

4 Один из учеников Иисуса, Иуда Искариот, который потом предал Его, сказал:

5 «Почему это миро не продали за триста динариев и не раздали эти деньги бедным?»

6 Он сказал так, не потому что беспокоился о бедных, а потому что был вор. Будучи казначеем, он часто брал деньги из общей казны.

7 Тогда Иисус сказал: «Оставь её в покое! Она правильно поступила, что сберегла это масло на сегодняшний день — день, когда Я должен быть подготовлен к погребению.

8 Бедные всегда будут с вами, но Я не всегда буду среди вас».

9 Многие иудеи узнали, что Иисус находился в Вифании и пришли туда, чтобы повидать Его. Они также хотели увидеть и Лазаря, которого Иисус воскресил из мёртвых.

10 Тогда главные священники решили убить и Лазаря,

11 потому что из-за него многие иудеи оставляли их и начинали верить в Иисуса.

12 На следующий день многие люди, пришедшие в Иерусалим на праздник, услышав, что Иисус должен прийти туда,

13 взяли пальмовые ветви и пошли Ему навстречу, восклицая: « „Осанна! Благословен Идущий во имя Господа!” Благословен Царь Израиля!»

14 Иисус нашёл молодого осла и сел на него, как сказано в Писаниях:

15 «Не бойся, народ Сиона! Вот едет царь Твой верхом на молодом осле».

16 Сначала ученики Иисуса не поняли этого, но, когда Он был вознесён к славе, тогда они вспомнили, что о Нём было именно так сказано в Писаниях и что именно они сделали для Него всё это.

17 Те, кто были с Иисусом, когда Он воскресил Лазаря из мёртвых и велел ему выйти из гробницы, стали всем рассказывать о том, что произошло.

18 Потому народ вышел Ему навстречу, так как люди слышали, что Он сотворил это знамение.

19 И тогда фарисеи сказали друг другу: «Смотрите, нам так и не удалось ничего сделать. Похоже, что весь мир следует за Ним!»

20 Среди тех, кто пришёл в Иерусалим на поклонение в праздник Пасхи, были и греки.

21 Они пошли к Филиппу, который был родом из Вифсаиды в Галилее, и начали упрашивать его: «Господин, мы хотели бы видеть Иисуса».

22 Филипп пошёл к Андрею и сказал ему об этом. Тогда Филипп и Андрей отправились вдвоём к Иисусу и рассказали Ему об этом.

23 Иисус ответил им: «Настало время для Сына Человеческого принять Свою славу.

24 Истинно вам говорю: если зерно пшеницы не упадёт на землю и не умрёт, то оно останется одно, а если умрёт, то принесёт множество зёрен.

25 Кто держится за свою жизнь, потеряет её, а кто не дорожит своей жизнью в этом мире, тот сохранит её. Он обретёт вечную жизнь.

26 Кто служит Мне, должен следовать за Мной, и где Я нахожусь, там будет и слуга Мой; и Отец почтит того, кто служит Мне».

27 «Сейчас же Моя душа исполнена печали. Что сказать Мне? Должен ли Я сказать: „Отец, спаси Меня от того, что должно произойти в этот час?” Но Я для того и пришёл, чтобы пережить этот час.

28 Отец, прославь имя Своё!» И раздался голос с неба: «Я уже прославил Себя и опять прославлю!»

29 Люди в толпе, собравшейся там, услышали голос и стали говорить, что это был гром. Другие же молвили: «Ангел говорил Ему!»

30 Иисус сказал им: «Не для Меня раздался этот голос, а для вас.

31 Теперь пришёл судный час для этого мира. Теперь будет изгнан вон князь этого мира.

32 И когда Я буду вознесён от земли, то привлеку к Себе всех».

33 Так говорил Он, чтобы показать, какой смертью умрёт.

34 И тогда народ сказал Ему: «Мы знаем из закона, что Христос будет жить вечно. Так как же Ты можешь говорить, что Сын Человеческий должен быть вознесён? И кто Этот Сын Человеческий?»

35 Тогда Иисус ответил: «Свет будет с вами ещё некоторое время. Пока у вас есть Свет, ходите, чтобы тьма не объяла вас, так как идущий в темноте не знает, куда идёт.

36 Пока у вас есть Свет, храните веру в Свет, чтобы стать детьми Света». Сказав это, Иисус ушёл и скрылся от них.

37 Хотя Иисус совершал все эти знамения на глазах у людей, они всё же не хотели верить.

38 Так сбылось то, что предсказал пророк Исаия: «Господи, кто поверил нашему посланию? И кому явилась сила Господняя?»

39 Именно поэтому они не могли веровать. Потому что Исаия ещё сказал:

40 «Бог ослепил их глаза и окаменил их сердца, чтобы они не могли видеть глазами и понимать сердцами, и не обратились бы ко Мне за исцелением».

41 Исаия сказал это, потому что видел славу Иисуса и говорил о Нём.

42 Но многие поверили в Иисуса. Даже среди иудейских предводителей было немало поверивших, но, боясь фарисеев, они не признавались открыто в своей вере, чтобы их не изгнали из синагоги,

43 потому что эти люди предпочитали людскую хвалу хвале Божьей.

44 И тогда Иисус громко сказал: «Тот, кто верует в Меня, верует не в Меня, а в Пославшего Меня.

45 Тот, кто видит Меня, видит Пославшего Меня.

46 Я, подобно Свету, пришёл в мир, чтобы каждый, кто поверит в Меня, не оставался во тьме.

47 Я не осужу того человека, который услышит Мои слова, но не будет повиноваться им, так как Я пришёл в мир не для того, чтобы судить, а чтобы спасти его.

48 Для отвергающего Меня и не принимающего Мои слова есть судья: учение, которое Я проповедовал, будет судить его в последний День.

49 Потому что Я говорил не от Себя, но Отец, Пославший Меня, заповедал Мне, как и что Я должен говорить.

50 И Я знаю, что Его заповедь приводит к вечной жизни. Поэтому Я говорю то, что Отец велел Мне говорить».

Chapter 12

1 SIX days before the passover, Jesus came to Bethany, where Lazarus was, whom Jesus had raised from the dead.

2 And they gave him a banquet there; Martha served; but Lazarus was one of the guests who were with him.

3 Then Mary took a cruse containing pure and expensive nard, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair; and the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume.

4 And Judas of Iscariot, one of his disciples, who was about to betray him, said,

5 Why was not this oil sold for three hundred pennies, and given to the poor?

6 He said this, not because he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and the purse was with him, and he carried whatever was put in it.

7 Jesus then said, Leave her alone; she has kept it for the day of my burial.

8 For you have the poor always with you, but me you have not always.

9 Many people of the Jews heard that Jesus was there; so they came, not only on account of Jesus, but also to see Lazarus, whom he had raised from the dead.

10 And the high priests were thinking of killing Lazarus also;

11 Because on his account a great many Jews were leaving and believing in Jesus.

12 On the next day, a large crowd which had come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,

13 Took branches of palm trees, and went out to greet him, and they cried out and said, Hosanna, Blessed is the king of Israel who comes in the name of the Lord.

14 And Jesus found an ass and sat on it; as it is written,

15 Fear not, O daughter of Zion; behold, your king cometh to you, riding on the colt of an ass.

16 His disciples did not understand these things at that time; but when Jesus was glorified, then his disciples remembered that these things were written concerning him, and that they had done these things to him.

17 The people who were with him testified that he had called Lazarus from the tomb, and raised him from the dead.

18 It was on this account that large crowds went out to meet him, for they heard that he had performed this miracle.

19 The Pharisees said one to another, Do you see that you have not been able to gain anything? Behold, all the people have gone after him.

20 Now there were some Gentiles * among them who had come up to worship at the feast.

21 They came and approached Philip of Bethsaida of Galilee, and asked him, saying, My lord, we would like to see Jesus.

22 Philip came and told Andrew; then Andrew and Philip told Jesus.

23 Jesus answered and said to them, The hour has come that the Son of man should be glorified.

24 Truly, truly, I say to you, that unless a grain of wheat falls and dies in the ground, it will be left alone; but if it dies, it produces much fruit.

25 He who loves his life will lose it; and he who has no concern for his life in this world will keep it unto life eternal.

26 If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there also will my servant be; he who serves me, him my Father will honor.

27 Now my soul is disturbed, and what shall I say? O my Father, deliver me from this hour; but for this cause I came to this very hour.

28 O Father, glorify your name. Then a voice was heard from heaven, I am glorified, and I shall again be glorified.

29 And the people who stood by heard it, and said, It was thunder; others said, An angel spoke to him.

30 Jesus answered and said to them, This voice was not on my account, but for your sake.

31 Now is the judgment of this world; now the leader of this world will be cast out.

32 And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw every man to me.

33 He said this, to show by what kind of death he was to die.

34 The people said to him, We have heard from the law that the Christ shall remain forever; how do you say that the Son of man must be lifted up? Who is this Son of man?

35 Jesus said to them, The light is with you for a little while; walk while you have the light, so that the darkness may not overcome you; and he who walks in the darkness does not know where he goes.

36 While you have the light, believe in the light, so that you may become the sons of the light. Jesus spoke these things, and went away and hid himself from them.

37 Even though he had performed all of these miracles before them, yet they did not believe in him;

38 So that the word of the prophet Isaiah might be fulfilled, who said, My Lord, who will believe our report, and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?

39 For this reason, they could not believe, because Isaiah said again,

40 Their eyes have become blind and their heart darkened, so that they cannot see with their eyes and understand with their heart; let them return and I will heal them.

41 Isaiah said these things, when he saw his glory and spoke concerning him.

42 Many of the leading men also believed in him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess it, so that they might not be cast out of the synagogue.

43 For they loved the honor of men more than the glory of God.

44 Jesus cried out and said, He who believes in me, believes not in me but in him who sent me.

45 And he who sees me, has already seen him who sent me.

46 I have come into the world as the light, so that whoever believes in me may not remain in the darkness.

47 And he who hears my words, and does not obey them, I will not judge him; for I have not come to judge the world, but to save the world.

48 He who oppresses me and does not receive my words, there is one who will judge him; the word which I have spoken, it will judge him at the last day.

49 For I did not speak of myself; but the Father who sent me, he commanded me what to say and what to speak.

50 And I know that his commandment is life everlasting; these things therefore which I speak, just as my Father told me, so I speak.

9 Многие иудеи узнали, что Иисус находился в Вифании и пришли туда, чтобы повидать Его. Они также хотели увидеть и Лазаря, которого Иисус воскресил из мёртвых.	9 Many people of the Jews heard that Jesus was there; so they came, not only on account of Jesus, but also to see Lazarus, whom he had raised from the dead.
10 Тогда главные священники решили убить и Лазаря,	10 And the high priests were thinking of killing Lazarus also;
11 потому что из-за него многие иудеи оставляли их и начинали верить в Иисуса.	11 Because on his account a great many Jews were leaving and believing in Jesus.
12 На следующий день многие люди, пришедшие в Иерусалим на праздник, услышав, что Иисус должен прийти туда,	12 On the next day, a large crowd which had come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,
13 взяли пальмовые ветви и пошли Ему навстречу, восклицая: « „Осанна! Благословен Идущий во имя Господа!” Благословен Царь Израиля!»	13 Took branches of palm trees, and went out to greet him, and they cried out and said, Hosanna, Blessed is the king of Israel who comes in the name of the Lord.
14 Иисус нашёл молодого осла и сел на него, как сказано в Писаниях:	14 And Jesus found an ass and sat on it; as it is written,
15 «Не бойся, народ Сиона! Вот едет царь Твой верхом на молодом осле».	15 Fear not, O daughter of Zion; behold, your king cometh to you, riding on the colt of an ass.
16 Сначала ученики Иисуса не поняли этого, но, когда Он был вознесён к славе, тогда они вспомнили, что о Нём было именно так сказано в Писаниях и что именно они сделали для Него всё это.	16 His disciples did not understand these things at that time; but when Jesus was glorified, then his disciples remembered that these things were written concerning him, and that they had done these things to him.
17 Те, кто были с Иисусом, когда Он воскресил Лазаря из мёртвых и велел ему выйти из гробницы, стали всем рассказывать о том, что произошло.	17 The people who were with him testified that he had called Lazarus from the tomb, and raised him from the dead.
18 Потому народ вышел Ему навстречу, так как люди слышали, что Он сотворил это знамение.	18 It was on this account that large crowds went out to meet him, for they heard that he had performed this miracle.
19 И тогда фарисеи сказали друг другу: «Смотрите, нам так и не удалось ничего сделать. Похоже, что весь мир следует за Ним!»	19 The Pharisees said one to another, Do you see that you have not been able to gain anything? Behold, all the people have gone after him.
20 Среди тех, кто пришёл в Иерусалим на поклонение в праздник Пасхи, были и греки.	20 Now there were some Gentiles * among them who had come up to worship at the feast.

23 Иисус ответил им: «Настало время для Сына Человеческого принять Свою славу.	23 Jesus answered and said to them, The hour has come that the Son of man should be glorified.
24 Истинно вам говорю: если зерно пшеницы не упадёт на землю и не умрёт, то оно останется одно, а если умрёт, то принесёт множество зёрен.	24 Truly, truly, I say to you, that unless a grain of wheat falls and dies in the ground, it will be left alone; but if it dies, it produces much fruit.
25 Кто держится за свою жизнь, потеряет её, а кто не дорожит своей жизнью в этом мире, тот сохранит её. Он обретёт вечную жизнь.	25 He who loves his life will lose it; and he who has no concern for his life in this world will keep it unto life eternal.
26 Кто служит Мне, должен следовать за Мной, и где Я нахожусь, там будет и слуга Мой; и Отец почтит того, кто служит Мне».	26 If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there also will my servant be; he who serves me, him my Father will honor.
27 «Сейчас же Моя душа исполнена печали. Что сказать Мне? Должен ли Я сказать: „Отец, спаси Меня от того, что должно произойти в этот час?” Но Я для того и пришёл, чтобы пережить этот час.	27 Now my soul is disturbed, and what shall I say? O my Father, deliver me from this hour; but for this cause I came to this very hour.
28 Отец, прославь имя Своё!» И раздался голос с неба: «Я уже прославил Себя и опять прославлю!»	28 O Father, glorify your name. Then a voice was heard from heaven, I am glorified, and I shall again be glorified.
29 Люди в толпе, собравшейся там, услышали голос и стали говорить, что это был гром. Другие же молвили: «Ангел говорил Ему!»	29 And the people who stood by heard it, and said, It was thunder; others said, An angel spoke to him.
30 Иисус сказал им: «Не для Меня раздался этот голос, а для вас.	30 Jesus answered and said to them, This voice was not on my account, but for your sake.
31 Теперь пришёл судный час для этого мира. Теперь будет изгнан вон князь этого мира.	31 Now is the judgment of this world; now the leader of this world will be cast out.
32 И когда Я буду вознесён от земли, то привлеку к Себе всех».	32 And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw every man to me.
33 Так говорил Он, чтобы показать, какой смертью умрёт.	33 He said this, to show by what kind of death he was to die.
34 И тогда народ сказал Ему: «Мы знаем из закона, что Христос будет жить вечно. Так как же Ты можешь говорить, что Сын Человеческий должен быть вознесён? И кто Этот Сын Человеческий?»	34 The people said to him, We have heard from the law that the Christ shall remain forever; how do you say that the Son of man must be lifted up? Who is this Son of man?
35 Тогда Иисус ответил: «Свет будет с вами ещё некоторое время. Пока у вас есть Свет, ходите, чтобы тьма не объяла вас, так как идущий в темноте не знает, куда идёт.	35 Jesus said to them, The light is with you for a little while; walk while you have the light, so that the darkness may not overcome you; and he who walks in the darkness does not know where he goes.
36 Пока у вас есть Свет, храните веру в Свет, чтобы стать детьми Света». Сказав это, Иисус ушёл и скрылся от них.	36 While you have the light, believe in the light, so that you may become the sons of the light. Jesus spoke these things, and went away and hid himself from them.
37 Хотя Иисус совершал все эти знамения на глазах у людей, они всё же не хотели верить.	37 Even though he had performed all of these miracles before them, yet they did not believe in him;
38 Так сбылось то, что предсказал пророк Исаия: «Господи, кто поверил нашему посланию? И кому явилась сила Господняя?»	38 So that the word of the prophet Isaiah might be fulfilled, who said, My Lord, who will believe our report, and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?
39 Именно поэтому они не могли веровать. Потому что Исаия ещё сказал:	39 For this reason, they could not believe, because Isaiah said again,
40 «Бог ослепил их глаза и окаменил их сердца, чтобы они не могли видеть глазами и понимать сердцами, и не обратились бы ко Мне за исцелением».	40 Their eyes have become blind and their heart darkened, so that they cannot see with their eyes and understand with their heart; let them return and I will heal them.
41 Исаия сказал это, потому что видел славу Иисуса и говорил о Нём.	41 Isaiah said these things, when he saw his glory and spoke concerning him.
42 Но многие поверили в Иисуса. 44 И тогда Иисус громко сказал: «Тот, кто верует в Меня, верует не в Меня, а в Пославшего Меня.	44 Jesus cried out and said, He who believes in me, believes not in me but in him who sent me.
45 Тот, кто видит Меня, видит Пославшего Меня.	45 And he who sees me, has already seen him who sent me.
46 Я, подобно Свету, пришёл в мир, чтобы каждый, кто поверит в Меня, не оставался во тьме.	46 I have come into the world as the light, so that whoever believes in me may not remain in the darkness.
47 Я не осужу того человека, который услышит Мои слова, но не будет повиноваться им, так как Я пришёл в мир не для того, чтобы судить, а чтобы спасти его.	47 And he who hears my words, and does not obey them, I will not judge him; for I have not come to judge the world, but to save the world.
48 Для отвергающего Меня и не принимающего Мои слова есть судья: учение, которое Я проповедовал, будет судить его в последний День.	48 He who oppresses me and does not receive my words, there is one who will judge him; the word which I have spoken, it will judge him at the last day.
49 Потому что Я говорил не от Себя, но Отец, Пославший Меня, заповедал Мне, как и что Я должен говорить.	49 For I did not speak of myself; but the Father who sent me, he commanded me what to say and what to speak.
50 И Я знаю, что Его заповедь приводит к вечной жизни. Поэтому Я говорю то, что Отец велел Мне говорить».	50 And I know that his commandment is life everlasting; these things therefore which I speak, just as my Father told me, so I speak.
