1 В тот день в Иудее будут петь такую песню: Город наш крепок, с прочными стенами и надёжной защитой, но Господь — Спаситель наш.
2 Откройте ворота, пускай добрые люди входят, те, кто сохранил веру.
3 Ты, Господи, мир даруешь всем, кто от Тебя зависит и надеется на Тебя.
4 Всегда возлагай надежду на Господа, потому что в Иегове наша сила и вечное спасение наше.
5 Но Господь уничтожит город, исполненный гордыни, а также накажет людей, живущих там. Господь повергнет этот город с высоты на землю, и он рассыплется в прах.
6 По его руинам пройдут все те, кто притеснения от него терпел, кто им ограблен был.
7 Честность — путь праведных, истинен он и прям, и Ты, Господи, делаешь этот путь гладким и лёгким.
8 Но мы, Господи, ждём Твоего суда, и наша душа стремится помнить Тебя и Твоё имя.
9 Ночами душа моя хочет быть с Тобой, и дух мой к Тебе стремится с каждым рассветом. Когда Твой суд свершится на земле, все люди научатся праведной жизни.
10 Нечестивый добру не научится, даже если Ты явишь ему только доброту. Он будет творить своё зло, даже живя в добром мире, и величие Господа может вовек не увидеть.
11 Господи, Ты руку Свою вознёс, чтобы их наказать, но они этого не видят. Так яви великую любовь народу Своему, пусть зло творящие устыдятся, пусть враги Твои сгорят во всепоглощающем огне.
12 Господи, Ты преуспел во всех делах, которые пытались мы свершить. Господи, даруй нам мир!
13 Господи, Ты — наш Бог! Раньше мы следовали за другими богами, но ныне мы хотим, чтобы люди помнили лишь Твоё имя, Господь!
14 В идолах нет жизни, духи из мёртвых не восстанут. Ты уничтожил не только их, но и память о них.
15 Ты помог нашему народу стать многочисленным, расширил границы наших земель и тем самым честь и славу принёс Себе.
16 Господи, люди в несчастьях помнят Тебя, и, получив Твоё наказание, они обратились к Тебе за помощью.
17 Боже, Ты причинил нам страдания, сравнимые с теми, которые переносит роженица, когда кричит от боли.
18 Но мы без пользы страдания перенесли, потому что родили только ветер. Мы не создали для мира новых людей, не принесли земле спасение.
19 Но сказал Господь: «Мёртвые оживут, тела их снова восстанут к жизни, восстанут они и восторжествуют. Роса на Тебе словно роса нового утра, переливается в лучах восходящего солнца. Всё это — знамение того, что приходит другое время, и новую жизнь обретут те, кто сегодня покоится в земле».
20 Народ мой, иди в свои дома и запри двери, спрячься, пока гнев Божий не усмирится.
21 Господь выходит из жилища Своего, чтобы судить народы за сотворённое ими зло. И явит земля кровь убитых, и больше не скроет доказательств совершённых преступлений.

20 Народ мой, иди в свои дома и запри двери, спрячься, пока гнев Божий не усмирится.
